Does Rejuv style field effects mean that a large number of skills will be modified by fields?

Beyond adding more potential challenges I like how organic and varied it makes the game feel. Exploration is more fun when I'm adapting strategies to whatever new environment I find myself in, rather than it being a meaningless backdrop. There's some dumb stuff like cut becoming grass type because apparently you're just perfectly dropping trees on people (without even caring about their resistances), but overall it's a big boost to my immersion.
