Anyone knows if there is anything special happening if you somehow beat Shane after receiving your starter?
Yo, not sure if you're active or use the site anymore since it shows your last login being in July at the time I'm writing this. But if you care or if anyone cares. I'm going to do it (: I see zero videos or guides of anyone doing it. So I'll be the first to do it, aside from any of the devs who have special builds or cheats, etc. Nice pfp btw. And guess who I'm using to beat that loser (:

I just need to get a Fletchling with an acceptable nature. (+Atk or +Spd, and -Sp.Atk or MAYBE one of the defenses. Tho I'd prefer not to have lower defenses as it would cause me to take more damage. And preferably +Atk so I do more damage as well!) No luck yet, the best I had was a Timid one so +Spd yay but -Atk aww.... I just need Fletchinder for the Fire and Flying typing with some fire attacks.

I have the perfect strategy to win.
Lv20~ish should be acceptable for both my mains. Geodude I might raise high enough to get Magnitude, depending on when they learn it. Plus I saw it had Sturdy so.. I took a minute to decide, then ultimately chose to catch her.
Zigzagoon is here for a very specific reason. Pickup. Superior healing items... And RARE CANDIES. It is extremely rare depending on your level, but it IS possible to get them at lower levels still. Already got a Hyper Potion which will be very very useful. I'm sure to get many more. All I really need to do is get Zigzagoon to Lv11ish and that should be enough. Even if I gotta speed-up run a hundred thousand steps for like 5 rare candies, it's worth it.
Same argument pretty much for the grinding. I don't care if the exp gain drops down to 1 per K.O. against lv4 and lv5 wild pokemon, and it takes me over a thousand battles to get to that point. I WILL get my Totodile (soon-to-be Croconaw) and Fletchling (STB Fletchinder) to Lv20+ so I can mop the floor with my stupid big fat jerk of a brother and show him who's boss. 🤬😝👎🏽
Cuz first of all, he's a butt. And second of all... I do not care, I will NEVER... EVER suffer defeat in a Pokémon battle, forced or no.
And if he and yall (devs) are gonna cheat and make an unwinnable fight, then fine. I will struggle and rebel against that and WIN. I won't be a victim of fate.. So call this cheating, I don't care.. (tho all I really did was speed-up and use save states for catching only, as well as to leave the fight as soon as I saw he had a freaking Lv25)
Third and finally, no I am not using any traditional "cheats". They do not work in this game, not ones from Emerald anyway. Trust me, I did my research and tested it extensively. The ONLY cheats which seem to work are ones made specifically for it which allow you to buy items in the Poké Mart and sell cheap items for an exorbitant amount of money. But as you should know, you don't have access to a Poké Mart at any point until presumably after the fight. Since you get walked to the lab and Shane blocks the way back to Cherrygrove. And walk thru walls cheats do not work as it is a decomp romhack.
So anyone who is doubting, please test for yourself and try to prove that I cheated.
I am on the latest version by the way, v1.3 and I don't have the first clue on how to use Pkhex and heard it breaks the game anyways potentially.
I will be recording the epic battle and posting it either on here or I guess on Youtube to embed it here, from starting up the game to the end of the fight, and will show I have no cheats enabled, nor will I use any save state abuse during the fight. Just to fully assert my dominance 😈
My training arc starts now.
I will update you guys soon.
It might be days. It might be weeks. It might be a month or more. But I assure you, I WILL crush him and show who the better sibling is, from. THE. VERY. START.💅💅💅
You will find I am VERY persistent, tenacious, resilient, and audacious. I will do what no one else could, and be the best there ever was. A TRUE Pokémon master. Main characters are supposed to be prodigies, are they not? Ok then.
And I'm giving it a 50/50 that it either breaks the game/glitches out or that it simply pulls a Fire Red: Rocket Edition and makes you play along with "the storyline" or he simply beats you up after he loses like a chump and can't handle it. And honestly in either case, I guess I can just be done with the game right then and there lol. We'll see.

Cya soon 💋

At the beginning of the game, the whole team of Shane can be defeated by one Pokemon (and his in your team there is no), and for this it is not necessary to spend a month, I have enough hours. As a result, you will get money for winning over him, but still move to the House as well as in defeat.

How do I get to Apricotta beach? Is it post game?
Yes it is part of post game content, after you beat e4

i've just get past Apricotta Beach and just reached Lazulan City. the wild and trainer mons are crazy strong, be prepared as they were around Lv 50-60+. Definitely get my ass beat multiple times before I could reach Lazulan City.

Absolutely fantastic hack, it's quickly becoming one of my favourites! I just have a question.

I've been having trouble evolving my Hisuian Sliggoo into a Hisuian Goodra. I already got the Hisuian Sliggoo by evolving goomy at night. I don't see any special evo method on the doc for Hisuian Goodra, but I can't get my Sliggoo to evolve. I've tried both day and night, as well as keeping rain dance learned. It doesn't have an everstone or anything, and I'm just wondering if it's a bug or if I'm just missing something. Appreciate any help I could get!

(also i was wondering how to get hisuian avalugg? i didn't see it on the docs either. i'm working on an all hisui mon team for my casual run)
