Surprised there isnt a save converter for just something for JUST bag space or other theoretically easy changes yet tbh. Even if it's set to undo the bagspace changes on the rom itself.

Nice release though, that must've took forever as i was seeing you cross things out one by one over the weeks.
That's because expanding the bag space breaks the saves, you literally have no way out for that. This is honestly for the best as features from v1.3 literally made the game an absolute must play compared to v1.2 which is atrocious and unfun to play, and one of the reasons for that is the limited bag space.

I can't find Horsea in the Goldenvine Sea either in the wild or with the Good Rod, should I try with the Super Rod?

Ok, done with the game, had a lot of fun, this was my HALL OF FAME, actually both times:

While it was the same team, movesets had to change quite a bit with the second rounds being Double Battles! Also caught every Legendary Pokémon available, and got every TM. Contrary Mega Typhlosion is broken, but so fun to use, Overheat, Eruption, and in Double battles is 2 kills almost every time! I really liked the game, the Johto adventure with the twists and the storyline many years after the original, the post-game was also fun, had many new areas and trainers, it was a very positive surprise, and the balance, balance is fantastic, normal trainers normally are quite fast to beat, and bosses are hard but feel fair. I had to think hard in quite a few battles, using moves like Rain Dance or Sunny Day was required against some strategies.

Apart from the no-moves Metapod and Kakuna problems (yeah, so odd, I don't know then why it could be happening), I found a couple more minor things.

You can go back up to the surface in most cave exits, and you appear in different places, like in the second picture, for example.

And this one maybe I am blind or terrible playing xD, but...

I was here for a while and could not find anything!

Last was a typo (certin).

Extremely minor things, maybe even not worth reporting xD, but game is well polished, very fun, and yeah, congratulations on it, I am happy I waited for v. 1.3 to play because with the big amount of items having a big bag is great.

P.S. I got 2 shiny Pokémon, Emolga and Heliolisk!

Im unable to use the excel documentation provided. i got locked out of my excel account for some reason and i just made it last night so i could use the documentation. So i was wondering if there was another place i could find all the pokemon and item locations other than that excel document? i tried guidenote but its missing hisuianian voltorb and other hisuianian mons

Absolutely not true lol.
Hold up, so the game does not have Kanto? (I am still getting ready for the E4).

It's crazy that 1.3 is out when I just finished 1.2.

So I was wondering if there could be a 1.4 one day? While I loved the postgame stuff with Team Phoenix, I wanted a boss battle with their real leader. So, I was wondering if you could make that happen? Maybe like a jail break connected to one more legendary pokemon? I loved seeing the Hydreigon on the team, and the rest being the canon pokemon that is used by that person. I just wanted to see what their full team would've looked like in such a memorable hack.

Truly one of my favorites and look forward to replaying it one day!

Just beat the first gym and the tms and berry pouch are empty. I don't have any cheats enabled, but I did get infinite money and buy a bunch of rare candies at the start of the game? Would that affect it? Does anyone have any idea why my items are missing?

Also, just noticed my clock ways 30:29 XD

Okay so I am going to mark this as a spoiler here

Spoiler: Janine's ace pokemon
Spoiler:

Anyway to farm Qualot, Hondew etc berries from wild pokemon?
Hmm, don't think so.

That might be possible, I have no idea.
Yeah, I think the nature changer took the longest. I had to learn a bit of C to program that one lol.

Thanks for that. But, assumedly trainers will want to battle (with cooldown) tons of times, not just once every so many badges, right? It's finding a way to get the money early on that I'm struggling with.
What are you trying to buy, a masterball?

@Sloo are there obedience caps for traded Pokemon, and if so, what are they? Also, there's a person in Violet City who wants a Litleo for their Rockruff, but no grass on Route 36 near Violet City so where to find Litleo?
20 (default), 35 (badge 2), 55 (badge 4), and 75 (badge 6)
And I believe Litleo is on Route 46.

Can this ben fixed? My last save was ages ago 😭
What am I looking at? One of the multi double battles?
If so, I'm not sure how to fix that.

The new update says that the johto starters have new mega forms. Do they have mega evolution stones and where can you get them?
They do have their own stones. You get them in Lazulan.

Need to use the Super Rod.

Thanks for the positive review!
Not sure why you're able to surface from the cave exits. You shouldn't be able to emerge from those tiles. I guess I could just remove the connection to the old "emerge maps".
There's a hidden item on the rock that's on the other side of the one you're looking at in Victory Road.
I was certin I didn't have any typos :P

I use Libre office instead. It's not great, but it's free lol

No Kanto.

How do I get everything done in Mahogany Town? The gym and Rage Resort are both blocked as is the road to the next route. Also Mt. Mortar is heckin' confusing to try and get through.
Sounds like you need to go back to Kizu Forest. It's near Olivine on the way to the Safari Zone past some cut trees.

where do i get HM Cut? Also, who does the Journal go to again? iirc, it was the professor in the Trainer's School, but i was told he's out doing field work, but where?
You can find Oliver in the Ruins of Alph, he gives you cut.

Yup, that would affect it.

I agree. Ariana has no screen time. Maybe an event in the cerulean cave of them trying to capture mewtwo how team rocket did in radical red? or them in ruins of alph trying to catch arceus.

Yes! I tried not to give her name away or even give away the gender but yes. I was thinking a 1.4 could've had Thorne's wish coming true while we're battling him, and then yes since we're not going to Kanto, I was also thinking of having 1.4 contain Ariana arriving with Daemon to the Ruins of Alph, and we could still do the puzzle that's required to get to Arceus. I'd be fine with that. I just wanted her to have a little more spotlight.

I found a whole bunch of Pokemon sprites in the game files that are not in the game. Are you planning to add them in some patch?

Yes and I want a single battle so we can see her full team.

Some things I noticed:

The receptionist for the Night and Dave show has a typo in their dialogue ("You're" instead of "Your"). Likewise, after the show is over, the guy standing outside the studio also has a typo ("desparate" instead of "desperate").

Against several opponents in the 20s and 30s, Toxic damage appears to be calculated incorrectly, as they were fainting in fewer than 6 turns even with no other sources of damage. It should not be possible for Toxic alone to add up that fast, except on extremely low-level Pokemon with 15 max HP or less.

When you receive the gift Eevee with a full party, it says "?????????? was sent to Bill's PC" regardless of whether you gave it a nickname or not. However, the Eevee does show up with its proper nickname (or default) when you check the PC or pull it out afterwards. Later on, the gift H-Zorua does not have this question-mark issue.

If you get a KO with U-turn or Volt Switch, experience is supposed to be given out before you choose which Pokemon you want to send in. In particular, bringing in a new Pokemon off the KO should not make it eligible for the current burst of experience, but it does here.

I switched in a Gyarados against Charlie's Manectric, got the Intimidate, then Manectric used Overheat and the White Herb didn't get consumed until after the move. White Herb is supposed to be consumed after any type of stat drop, so the proper interaction is that it gets used up by the Intimidate and Manectric should be stuck with the -2 SpA after using Overheat.

An enemy Sawk managed to use Endure, then Endure again which succeeded opposite my Shadow Sneak, then the following turn it presumably reacted to seeing Shadow Sneak and went for Quick Guard, but that move failed. Quick Guard is a tricky one: it's supposed to increment the Protect staleness counter when used consecutively with other Protect-style moves, but Quick Guard itself is unaffected by that counter--it's always supposed to be successful no matter how many times you use it in a row.

Another trip to the past with Celebi, perhaps?

No, they're just in the game data from the emerald expansion.

I think the toxic damage calc and some of the other battle mechanics are generation specific changes.
I thought I fixed the Eevee, but maybe it got undone?
