Apparently some berries will drop EVs, and there isn't a way to change IVs.

No, sorry, just the one Johto starter you picked is available.
All berries are in the game scattered around, and some can be purchased.

The Lapras is in Union Cave, same location as the older games. You just need surf to get to it.
It also respawns each time you beat the E4. (so does Sudowoodo, and Rotom).

Hmm, doesn't look like the Destiny Knot is available.

Others in this thread have said they did just that to get the other two starters. I really don't know how that works lol.

They're just excel spreadsheets.
The lucky egg is a prize at the Goldenrod Game corner. You can also get one from the Gible you receive in the Dragon's Den.

See the FAQ on the first post.

Only Johto.

1. Get the Cianwood City gym badge
2. Go to Kizu Forest and complete the events there (left of Olivine on the way to the Safari Zone, past some cut trees)
3. Find the Mahogany Gym leader in Ice Path.

No, I don't think Body Press is in the game.
Ive got same problema about guarda in mahogany town, ive been for hours running around kizu forest, could you specify which eventos i have to complete there? Thx

beat the game once didn't know the staters are available to catch so I started over again. I love the game though I played every single one growing up and this is by far my favorite version. Anyone complaining about difficulty didn't play the other games. But quick question does it noticeably turn dark ? I'm trying to evolve my quilava into the hisuin version

Sorry if it has been answered already, but I am struggling to find the answer.
I've beaten the 8th gym and am trying to get the super rod & according to the excel it should be in the rage resort, however I still haven't found it after (I think) talking to every NPC.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks! :)
There's a fisherman that ask if you like fishing say no he gives you the rod

This is going to sound so nitpicky, but so many hacks lately have been ruined for me by this little thing that I'm not sure bothers many other people. I've only just gotten to Violet City and I was having a good time, enjoying the Pokemon selection, the fact that you can change natures and abilities from an early point in the game...

but that stopped when I noticed that when you swap a Pokemon mid-battle, EXP is not divided. Both (or all) Pokemon get full EXP. Which tells me that eventually this hack will have the gen 6 and beyond EXP Share (likewise how it has catching EXP). That's fine, but if post gen 6 EXP Share is off as you were able to do in gens 6 and 7, EXP should be divided when switch training. I noticed when a lot of hacks implement the EXP Share toggle, they make it so, sure, you can have it off, but EXP won't be divided so if you switch train, you effectively have the EXP Share on. I have no intention to use the EXP Share, I want to play the 'old style' where you have to manually train up every Pokemon. This ruins it for me because then I won't ever want to switch my Pokemon in a battle because then they'll over time get too much EXP and get overleveled, which is a concern for me because I like to stick with the same party the whole game. Could you please fix it so when EXP Share isn't on, switch training divides the EXP gained among the Pokemon who participated, instead of every Pokemon each getting the full amount? Like how it worked in gens 6 and 7 when EXP Share was off? Please consider this.

I am making an assumption with EXP Share being in the game since it seemingly isn't, but every hack I played with this problem has EXP Share in it.

Hello!

Does Galarian Rapidash learn Play rough at any point? Is there an Mt for that move in the game?

Sloo, you beautiful, bald bastard, you!
This hack is incredible! I've never found myself actually laughing out loud like I have this game. THIS is the Pokemon game I've wanted for years. I want my pokemon rival to say, "See that nerd over there? I bet he doesn't get any bitches."
I want my gym leaders hard, and I want my opponents to have level 100 Pokemon.
Beautiful! Masterpiece!

Some things I've noticed so far, if you're looking for bug reports.
A: Some TMs are NOT reusable.
B: My Gallade can't learn False Swipe, for some reason.

No, the game does not visibly get darker. Night is between 6pm and 6am, and the start menu clock should be correct.

This game still has the old EXP share, where a single pokemon holds the item.
I decided to use battle nurses for quick grinding instead.

Just got a shiny oddish, training it up I realized I got PKRS.
Wht are the odds for both these things? View attachment 165941
IDK the odds of that, but you must be extremely lucky!
I didn't tamper with the shiny or pokerus odds at all.

The move tutor in Ecruteak will teach it Play Rough.

Does anyone know where the prism scale is? I hatched a shiny feebas and screwed up on the berries because i tried relying on chesto instead of a higher level berry. The item list says it is in Cherrygrove but I don't see it anywhere.

Good game, this update saved it from being mid to an actually 8-9/10 game. This ROM hack is a very good starting ROM hack for people who are just dipping their toes in our community.

Personally the only complaint that I have now is the lack of staple moves such as Body Press and Volt Switch, as well as the cap for Vitamins still being 100. We need another move relearner because my Corviknight is just sad at the moment.

First pic is main game team, second is post-game.

It's in the spot behind the PC. You have to surf down from Route 30 to reach it.

The document for pokemon and items say that to get Black Augurite, I need to steal it from a Graveler, and Graveler can be found, among other places, in Mt. Mortar. However when I run around in Mt. Mortar looking for them, I only run across Geodude, not Graveler. The document doesn't like Geodude in Mt. Mortar. I'm on v1.3. Any details as to what's going on here or how I can get Black Augurite? Currently have three badges, beat the Phoenix base in Ecruteak but haven't taken on the gym yet.

Oh, I stand corrected about the EXP Share thing then. But then how come you got rid of EXP getting divided when more than one Pokemon participates in a battle though? I tested this just now with a level 4 Caterpie. When my Cyndaquil KO'd it by itself, she gained 14 EXP. I then tried that exact scenario again, except I switched in my also level 11 Rookidee and Mudkip. Instead of the awarded EXP being split to 4 like it would normally be in that situation (I think because I think it gets rounded down), they all still gained 14.

Caution - Use cheat codes at your own risk!
Since this is a decomp, the game data gets shifted whenever it's compiled. Pokémon Emerald cheats will not work, and cheats tailored to Scorched Silver will probably be version specific (v1.0, v1.1, etc.)

Both polls closed, see the new Johto mega evolutions in the spoiler below:
Spoiler:

Intro
Hey, it's been a while. I'm sure nobody expected to see me again.
In my typical fashion, I've kept the development of this game well hidden. Nevertheless, this is a complete game with 8 badges, and plenty of post game content. This is not a remake of Gold and Silver, but a sequel with an entirely new story.
Fair warning – The gym leaders use items and some setup moves making this game moderately difficult, but not impossible. If you defeat all available trainers before each gym, and use a little strategy, you should be fine.

Hope you all enjoy it!

Bugs
- Game freezes after falling down with Oliver in the Ruins of Alph: Fixed in v1.1 patch
- Hisuian Zorua and Hisuian Voltorb currently don't evolve. Fixed in v1.1 patch
- Galarian Weezing (maybe others too?) seems to break double battles a little (the sprites will flip around some, not game breaking, but looks funny)
- Mega evolution symbol will stay on screen after the mega pokémon has fainted sometimes. Goes away after battle, or if you view your other pokémon
- In the multi double battles, if all of your teammate's pokémon faint, it may not let you switch
- Galarian Yamask can't currently evolve to Runerigus. Fixed and re-uploaded v1.2 patch 7/3/24 (Galarian Yamask just needs to sustain 49+ damage in battle, uses max HP - current HP formula).
- Game freezes when talking to mom after first Shane battle sometimes, seems rare. Should be fixed in v1.3

This was a very fun rom I wasn't really expecting much but man I was really impressed the story was pretty good too and in times somewhat funny I'll add a photo of my team just incase anyone wanted to know I give this game 9 heracrosses out of 10[PokeCommunity.com] Pokémon Scorched Silver v1.3 [Complete]

The Graveler are deeper into Mt. Mortar, where the levels get higher. You'll need surf to encounter it.

I just left the Exp gain how it was when I downloaded the Pokeemerald expansion.

I'm thankful for this fun hack. Could someone kindly explain where the Overheat TM is? I know it's in Mt. Mortar but I can't find it in there...
First go up the waterfall from the middle entrance, and make your way to the end of the room with all of the water puddles and jump ledges.

Hi so an issue i'm having with the game is that my game clock is stuck in the pm state and I want to evolve certain pokemon that require day time evolutions, what do you recommend that I do?
That's very weird, also the clock is over 24 hours even?
Might be a Delta issue, but I haven't heard anyone else having this issue.

Thank you for the answer Sloo.

In reference to the clock problems -- I was having a similar issue in which AM and PM are always the reverse of what they're supposed to be. To evolve certain Pokemon, I had to change my computer's clock temporarily.

Changing gears -- I am really enjoying this hack, I'm thankful it was made, and I hate to be a complainer, but it's frankly annoying how few move tutors and TMs there are. Like I just realized there's no way to give my Hisuian Braviary Heat Wave or Agility. It was also upsetting to see that Kleavor doesn't get the Sharpness ability or the move Stone Axe, but I recognize that some people have real problems. I'm guessing my Hisuian Lilligant will never learn Victory Dance.
