    [PokeCommunity.com] Pokémon Slowpink Version [Complete]

Pokémon Slowpink Version is an enhanced version of my first hack, Pokémon Enduring Emerald, meant to be more of a callback to Pokémon Yellow and Pokémon LGPE than Red/Blue or FireRed/LeafGreen. Instead of choosing between the Gen 1 starters at the beginning, you'll choose between Pikachu, Eevee, and Slowpoke, and instead of having a mix of Gen 1 and Gen 2 Pokémon, the hack has only Gen 1 Pokémon as well as their baby forms, evolutions, and regional variants introduced in future generations through Gen 7.

    Other changes:

All of the base features of pokeemerald-expansion version 1.9.2 including PSS, fairy type, and current movesets are included
New dark UI for the start menu, party screen, and bag
    Reusable TMs
    Following Pokémon
    FRLG-style location previews
Gen 6-style Exp. Share that can be toggled on and off as a key item
Any Pokémon you're traveling with can use a field move as long as the HM for it is in your bag
Your Pokémon can forget HM moves without needing a move deleter for it
Items used for trade evolutions like King's Rock and Metal Coat can now be used as evolution stones from the bag, and the Linking Cord item from Legends: Arceus can be purchased to trigger any other trade evolutions
All evolution items (except Upgrade, which will be held by the Porygon you're given at the Weather Institute) can be purchased on the fourth floor of the Lilycove Department Store
You can switch between the mach bike and acro bike at any time by pressing R
    Lots of dialogue changes
    And more!

    Code used from:

ROM Hacking Hideout (see GitHub for all contributors)
    Bivurnum
    Archie
    devolov
    LOuroboros
    Malin
    Scyrous

    Dex completion:

All 180 Pokémon in the regional dex should be obtainable through catching, evolution, or in-game trades. The encounter table is available here for anyone who needs it.

The hack itself can be downloaded here.

If you have any questions or concerns about the hack, please let me know here, in the RHH server, or in the Team Aqua's Hideout server, where I go by jicem. Thanks for playing my hack, and I hope you enjoy it.

    Are there any story Changes?
Team Rocket makes an appearance in one part of the story, but other than that, there are no major changes.

I've also updated the hack so that your rival uses Slowking in his/her final battle with you instead of Slowbro, as that battle's meant to show off the evolution items you can purchase at Lilycove.

New update, and likely the final one for a while, assuming no major bugs are found:

A King's Rock can now be found on the Abandoned Ship on Route 108 (replacing the Harbor Mail) as soon as you unlock Surf.

You can now purchase Heart Scales at the Poke Mart in Fallarbor Town.

Twelve new items, based on items available in Platinum's Battle Frontier, have been added to Slowpink's Battle Fronter:

Second cashier from right now has:

    Power Bracer
    Power Belt
    Power Lens
    Power Band
    Power Anklet
    Power Weight

    Rightmost cashier now has:

    Power Herb
    Muscle Band
    Focus Sash
    Choice Scarf
    Razor Claw
    Razor Fang

This update should be compatible with current saves. Big thank you to everyone who has played and given feedback so far.

    nice one!
    are there any docs?

The game plays a lot like regular Emerald, so the only specific docs are the readme file that comes with the game and the encounter table I linked to in the first post. If there's anything you need help with, I'm happy to give assistance, though.

Thanks for the update! Just curious, when is the exp share available? Thanks again for all your hard work =]

Are the level-up & TM/HM Learnsets the same from the original game ?? If not, it would be nice if you'd add it as a separate table together with the encounter list.

Just like in Emerald, you get it from Mr. Stone in Devon Corp after you deliver his letter to Steven.

    got it!
I checked on them, I was searching about Alolan Marowak
    Does it need any item?

You don't need any item. You'll encounter the Alolan version of Marowak on the Mt. Pyre summit.

The level-up and TM/HM learnsets are updated to Gen 9, so if you visit a Pokémon's page on Bulbapedia, for instance, that should be accurate.

So the learnsets are updated upto gen 9 but the moves are limited to gen 3 moves ?? Are Fairy-type moves included as well ??

    Version 1.3

Updates are now numbered for convenience

Instead of needing a Wailord at the top of your party and a Relicanth at the bottom of your party to access the sealed chamber that will then give you access to the legendary birds, you will now need a Slowpoke at the top of your party and a Shellder at the bottom of your party. This update should be compatible with current saves.

Moves will be used from all generations, and some post-gen 3 moves will be available to purchase as TMs as well.

    Version 1.5

    Spoiler: Postgame spoilers

The Big Pearl you could find in the Safari Zone after becoming the champion has also been replaced with a Shiny Charm.

    Version 1.6

Wild Cubone now have a higher chance of holding a Thick Club, and wild Abra now have a higher chance of holding a Twisted Spoon.

A glitch that caused the game to crash once you entered the Safari Zone on some emulators should now be fixed.

Hey I have an issue with accessing the legendary birds, as there is no wailord or relicanth how do you open the desert ruins or other locked areas to complete the Dex. I went to the area with the braile but as I don't have the Pokémon that trigger it ?

Could you add Instant Text Speed and Auto Run to your hack?

As of version 1.3, instead of needing a Wailord at the top of your party and a Relicanth at the bottom of your party to access the sealed chamber that will then give you access to the legendary birds, you will need a Slowpoke at the top of your party and a Shellder at the bottom of your party. If it still doesn't work for you using one of the newer versions of the hack, let me know.
