Pokémon Spinoff: [Pokémon TCG Generations] 1.6.1

Hey Guys!, Well after a little time of "rest" I continue with Generations, these will be some of the sprites for what would be 1.6.1, which will mostly bring Bug Fixes.

As you can see now I'm focusing on the Trainers sprites, which is a little weird for me because I'm not used to making inanimate objects xd but it's something I'm getting used to.

I also wanted to be able to integrate something like this, similar to the Sequel, now you can save your Decklists directly from the Menu and check your Mails at any time.

They are small changes but they help a lot (Ironically, what cost me the least was expanding the menu xd), Originally this update was not going to bring such "abrupt" changes but it was something I wanted to try if I could implement it and I don't like you guys to be left without this type of changes.

I'm not sure when this update will be released yet, but it shouldn't be too long now. have a nice day =D​

Wow! I'm upset that I only now stumbled across this because the TCG is one of my favorite retro Pokemon games but it gets stale with always having the same cards. I'm excited to try this out.

But mostly I just want to say that those sprites for the cards are BEAUTIFUL. The Gen 2 style has always been one of my favorites and most of them look like they'd fit right in with the art from the official game. Well done!

Well, this will be the last update for some time (i think), and it's for a few reasons:
  1. I want to move on to making bigger changes to the rom, so that will need more development time.
  2. I feel like I'm updating the game too often, this is something that's happened all year, since 1.4 I haven't stopped releasing versions and obviously that's my fault, but I think I should slow down with this kind of things.
  3. And finally, in the future I'm going to have less time to do this kind of things.
And well, I don't want to sound like I'm sick of the game, I wouldn't have released as many updates as I did if that were the case, but I think I should generally take it easy, especially since this is a hobby.
But anyway, let me know of any bugs you find and have a nice day =D.

I don't want to be "that guy", but I think it's best to leave this rom as is for a while. Don't get me wrong. I love all 3 versions of this game. But I would like to see a new project of sorts. Like I said before, with all the card art you've shown both on here and Deviantart, you can easily make like 3 more games. And from the looks of it, you can make quite a few challenge mode games as well.

I won't twist your arm over it. But from what I've seen from you, Cataclyptic and Guzenbuick. All 3 of you have truly unlocked TCG's full potential and then some. I just don't want to see any of you get burned out from working on updating the same rom hack constantly.

Whatever you have in store for us in the near future. Guarantee, we'll all be looking forward to it.
 
Using Turtonator's Spit-Out Shot attack which attacks a benched pokemon seems to soft lock the game if there are no benched pokemon to select.
 
Now, Its been some time since a post some update about the progress of the hack so i am going to show you guys some of the stuff have been adding for the next version:

Thanks to Oats i have been able to add a new type to the Game, now with 8 new types we reach the limit possible in the game for now! and as you can see this would mean that various card now are part of the Dark type, things Like Hydreigon, the Zubat Line, etc.
And of course New Sprites!

It's almost like a whole new game.
 
Started playing this again, not sure if this is an oddity or intentional, but when Imakuni uses their imakuni trainer card and confuses their own pokemon, they don't take damage even if the coin flips to tails "due to resistance". For example, Imakuni used their self titled trainer card on a Floatzel, and the weakness of floatzel is electric attacks, yet it acts like it's immune to damage when tails lands. I hope I made sense.

Floatzel is always immune. Even without Imakuni. Though it makes a great strategy for an oddball like Imakuni.
 
Treveants forest curse, when in play has the game think it's "Toxic gas", mild inconsistency. Loving the hack so far! Thank you for your hard work!
Edit: Ronald in the first cup says a level 60 metwo is up for grabs before the battlez but in reality it's a cressilia.

That's weird, I tough I fix that one ages ago 😅

That's what happens when a Pokemon as a resistance to is own type, they become practically inmune to Recoil Damage (atleast the ones that deal 30 or less damage, Like confusion) and yeah some are intentional like Floatzel or Kingdra.
