Emerald hack: Pokémon Team Rocket Edition: Dragonsden Version - Kanto/Sevii/Johto | Next release: DLC (season 4)

What now.... i already made a long progress and i am thinking whether to continue it due to it still have an update, knowing that my progress might reset after downloading the new update soon making it my 3rd time playing rn....... lot of work to do.

I actually asked this before and he said that my progress will save but not for the next update, the creator also said this but not for hoen or johto i think.... so yeah kinda asking it again just making sure.

You will probably find a guide on how to update it without getting the save file deleted, since its a problem that hundreds of people have. And if you go on the Discord server there may be a person that might be able to help you.
I also need to know it, so my save file wont be deleted.
I had to start over after updating. The game does give you the option of deciding where you want to start: from the beginning, from the Sevii Islands, from Jotho or straight up skip to Hoenn. If you choose that, the game will give you a selection of 30 fully trained Pokémon to start your adventure. It's an option if you don't want to start over but honestly I preferred to play from the start.
Does anybody know where to get HM Fly?? I already have 8 badges and I'm still walking everywhere 🥲
In the same place you get it in the original games. The only dofference is you have to battle for it. Oh, and Fly is a one-turn move now.

Tbh i also prefer to play from the start but in sevii islands of couse..... and can you tell me what were those 30 trained pokemon are. I might changef my mind if they're really worth for me.

My pokemon team btw are crobat, electivire, rhyperior, gengar, gyarados, charizard. they're currently level 75+..... in my prev progress, my team was the same but i change my snorlax to rhyperior and blastoise to gyarados, also they're lvl was 80+ before.

Couldn't find any better pokemon than them like they're literally my fav but too bad salamence and swampert are not available in sevii and kanto

Is there any cheat for this game? I like to play it easy because i just want to experience the story. Thanks.

I've deleted multiple unnecessarily rude/disrespectful posts from this thread. Please keep the conversation on-topic and stay respectful. If this happens again (especially as Arcaneum has already issued an in-thread warning previously), infractions or bans will be issued. This is the last in-thread warning and no further chances will be given.

How do I reset the EVs of my Pokemon? I want to do some EV training on my Pokemon before Victory Road
If you're playing a version earlier than 2.0.1, sadly there's not much you can do until you reach Jotho and can purchase EV-reducing berries, which is a bummer. This was sorta fixed in version 2.0.1 (Spanish) with the berry trees in Vermillion City, although the berries take forever to re-spawn, but at least is something.

Where can I find the Choice Scarf? I got the Band and the Specs
After the Elite 4. There is a trainer on Seven Island that will give you one as a reward if you beat him. Also on Seven Island, Andra will challenge you to a fight and you can get a second Choice Scarf using Thief against her Heracross.

Ok thanks. By thw way, is there an Elite 4 to challenge while in Johto? I want to try out my team (4 Rocket Evolutions, Sacred Dunsparce, and &Crobat) against them and get a hall of fame record with them

I have updated my Thief guide, now including the Sevii Islands arc. At this point you probably already have most items but there are some few new useful ones like Gems, the Choice Scarf and the Power Herb.

As I said before, there can be some minor differences between versions but overall it's the same. Hope you guys find it useful!

Have you played through Johto?

As far as I know, you can only enter the Hall of Fame four times (before the Hoenn update):

1. KANTO: Beat the Elite 4, Red and Lance.
2. SEVII ISLANDS: Beat Oak at the Pokémon Mansion.
3. JOTHO: Complete the Ruins of Alph mission (this was the most difficult one for me).
4. DLC: Beat Giovanni at the Rocket Base (to do this, you must complete all three Giovanni missions and beat the trainers at the Radio Tower in Lavander).

I'm assuming that in the latest update you can enter the Hall of Fame again after completing the Hoenn storyline.

If you already have Rocket evolutions and Dudunsparce, I'm assuming you're almost about to finish the DLC section, right?

wait, I have to wait that long? I'm still at Seven Island! Dang, I was hoping to get those Rocket evolutions soon, I had a team planned out and everything. Will I be able to get 4 rocket evolutions and Dun before entering the 4th Hall Of Fame?

I feel you, the first time I played, the team I had planned had Overqwil, Annihilape and Galarian Weezing, only to find out I couldn't get them until the DLC so I got stuck with Jothonian Qwilfish, Primeape and Kantonian Weezing for most of my run. 😅

To transform your Pokémon into their regional forms and to evolve Pokémon like Dunsparce, Primeape or Girafarig you need a Sacred Stone, only available after completing the Jotho arc. When you do, if you want to get them faster, after Giovanni assigns you three missions, start with the one that takes you west of Cianwood, you can get two Sacred Stones there.

Also, the first time I played, you only get one Rocket Stone to get Rocket evolutions. I don't know if that has been changed but choose wisely.

Got it I only needed one Sacred Stone anyways. So, I can skip straight to the DLC via main menu? Also, I read somewhere that I will be able to purchase rocket stones for 1.5mil a piece later on?

If you pick the DLC (or any other stage of the game) via the main menu, you will lose your current team. And Sacred Stones are for sale later on but not Rocket Stones (this could have changed in the update, I'll let you know when I get there).

I'm ok with losing my current team, I'll just catch them again. Will I lose all my money as well? Also, please do let me know about those rocket stones later on, thanks
