FireRed hack: Pokémon Team Rocket Edition: Dragonsden Version - JOHTO RELEASE 30th APRIL

That was the original plan iirc, Spain got hit with a massive power outage earlier though so it might be delayed by a bit depending on if the creator is still impacted by the blackout

Cause the expansion hasn't dropped yet but should within 48 hours.
 

JOHTO RELEASE NEWS:

Dragonsden here, as discord admins said, there was a power outage in Spain, yesterday.
I didn't have access to my computer until this morning.

My plan was releasing the game yesterday, hopefully, all the work was 99% done, and this power outage only delayed one day the release.
Today I could work in that remaining 1%.

That means... Johto release is now... in less than 3 hours.

I'm just checking ephemeris mode, youtube comments with some possible reports and relevant information documents.

As the Kanto/Sevii release, the download link will be at the trailer description, once finished. I'll update Pokecomunnity post as well.

Then... I programmed the trailer release in youtube, at 00:00 30 April (Spain). About 3 minutes after that, the release link will be at the description.

Has it been confirmed that we'd have to restart or are we able to continue off our previous saved file? I recall Drgonsden mentioning finding a workaway around it.

Don't recall anything beyond what he mentioned at the start of the leadup to the release during March, that saves aren't going to be compatible.

The only workaround is that players can choose to start the new file either in post-Kanto Sevii Islands or at the start of Johto, with a collection of Pokemon and items given.
