From my understanding, it does. It also works for Pokemon that have regional variants, like Raichu or Zoroark, as they reach those forms via "evolution", too. And they can also "evolve" into their original regional forms, too, meaning the Eviolite also works on regional variants. (Specifically via Sacred Stone, though those aren't yet player-accessible).
 
Does anyone know where to find light clay? I checked the file and light clay is missing.
 
Nvm I just used thief on wild golett until I got lucky. If there is a guaranteed light clay feel free to reply.
 
Just beat Oak. Take the ditto pill guys, trust me.

Love this game so much. With that said, where do you get more nature mints? I got modest and careful mints from Bills house early on but haven't seen any place to find or buy them since. Anyone have any ideas or know?

There's a bug catcher in pewter, if you help him get his house back, there'll be nature mints there

It's a side quest, and if you don't specifically talk with him, you'll miss it, so it's normal to miss this one, I only found about it because I checked the documentation, there's a file there with all available side quests
