This game was initially made during Relic Castle Game Jam 7, where it won a judge spotlight.

What are you here to do?

​

You've awoken in a cool, underground lab. You're not human, but not Pokémon. You move your freshly built mechanical body out of the machine. During your creation process, you've been asked questions, but not given any answers for yourself. Picking up the presents left behind for you, you make your way up to the surface. In front of you a maze sprawls, and, not too far on the horizon a tower, taller than the clouds, looms over the landscape. Why are you awake? What are you needed for? You set off on a journey to find out...

• Raised the level cap from 35 to 40 in the interlude.
• Made 11 TMs available to use.
• Polished all battles to realign the difficulty, and account for new evolution levels.
• Polished dialogue for more implied intonation (pauses etc.).
• Added extra dialogue in the Watchtower for various terms.
• Made the Flash Function a useable item instead of an event that activates upon entering dark spaces (so you can assign it to the ready menu)
• Added a speed up button (Activates with Q).
• Added ENLS' Fancy Camera. Hope you don't get motion sick!
• Added an Exp All toggle in the options menu, replacing the item.
• Added a new sidequest started by Bobbi in the Epilogue.
• Added a new sidequest started by Kedric halfway through the Epilogue.
• Added a challenger to the spa who appears after 10 fights, after a certain quest is complete.
• Replaced Hail with Snow.

Sorry for the really late reply, I don't check this forum enough 😅
The game caps out at lv35 for this fight, so my best advice would be to check all your moves and tm options, or grab more members to fill out your ranks.
I've gone and looked at the fight again just in case it really is a difficulty spike and, yes, it kind of is, so this file, to extract into the main folder, updates the fight to be easier.
It's been a while since I checked out this part of the game, so I can't say there's very many good places to get exp without grinding; may look into this for future versions.
