Pokémon that you didn't care for before

I didn't care about durant at first since it's small and it doesn't evolve. But after I tried it out in one of my teams, it quickly became one of my favorite pokemon to use in battlespot. I even went as far as to breed a shiny form of it through matsuda method and nicknamed her 'Hazel'.
 
Yeah, you see, this is why you play Nuzlockes - so you can get more answers to this question. My White 2 Challenge Mode Wedlocke a year ago had me using a Pidove that I thought was going to blow, but it REALLY stood out and had several low end damage survivals. It died in the final battle against Iris, but it was still awesome to have. My Omega Ruby adventure had a Beautifly which wasn't quite the epic, but I enjoyed having it live through the whole game.

I could name a handful more Pokémon like this, but those are two that i've really come to like not just on usage, but overall as well.
