Darkness shrouded the air. It had reached the point where Trent could no longer see anything. The only thing that was guiding him at this point was his companion Bulbasaur, who occasionally nudged his in the proper direction. In the backdrop Trent could hear the frantic movement and commotion of all the pokemon that resided in the forest. It seemed as if all of them were headed in their direction. Trying to not be further worried than he was Trent attempted to only follow his pokemon's orders. This proved to be the hardest part of his journey as he couldn't seem to abandon the negative emotions and thoughts that seemed to be plaguing his mind. Will I live, am I going to be attacked, will I see any of the other students. All these thoughts in his head were accompanied by many more. It was starting to drive him mad, every step felt the same as the last, every sound identical to the previous, not to mention his lack of vision. It was as if he had been completely separated from his body. Sure he may have been moving forward but all he could really do was think and that only made the anxiety he was feeling far worse than it was. "I can't take it anymore!" screamed Trent throwing himself to the floor. Tears started to run down his cheeks revealing is peachy skin from under the layer of ash. "I….I just can't do it." He whimpered repeatedly pounding his fists into the ground. His Bulbasaur attempted to console him by nudging him. It was a failed effort as the trainer now layed there motionless tears running down his face just as the stream they were following had. Trent's mind was in a bad place he didn't want to believe what was happening to him, he didn't even feel this way when he was stuck on the sinking ship.

It was then that Trent began to think about his family, and living in their happy town. His camping trips with his father also crossed his mind. He was tall and had long black hair down to his shoulders and a fluffy beard that gave him a warm appearance. He thought of the day when he and his father were stuck in a cave together. He remembered the comfort he had just knowing that someone else in that moment cared about him and wanted to make sure he was protected. His father then pulled out his pokeball and released a powerful pokemon that looked like a giant rock with arms and legs. It was a golem that then started to hurl the rocks blocking the cave out of the way with ease. All the while his father sat with him very calmly arm around his shoulder. "As long as you have a companion Trent, nothing should stop you when faced with hard times." His father said softly under the sound of crashing rocks. "You just need to remember that you can do anything you set your mind to. And when you feel like he can't keep going just take a second to think about everything you have and will accomplish if you make it though." With that a bright light shone though the entrance to the cave signifying that they were safe. Recalling this event caused the tears on Trent's face to stop flowing. He sniffed up the mucus that had started to run down his nose and wiped his face covering it with more soot from his sleeves.

"Bulba, Bulbasaur!" cried the pokemon biting its trainer to get his attention. Trent still not being able to fully see in the darkness of the fog simply tried to listen to what his pokemon was implying. In the distance he heard an extremely large crash. It must have been the wave reaching the land. From the sound it didn't seem like he had too much more time to waste wallowing in sorrow. AS he stood the ground began to shake. It was different from an Earthquake as it continued to do so rhythmically. Before he had time to react to the situation a giant vine wrapped around his body and lifted him several feet into the air. Screaming Trent squirmed trying to release himself. Each time he moved however the grip on him got tighter

"Venusaur!" roared the pokemon. The mighty grass type pokemon took several paces forward to where Trent was just standing. From the sound of it, there had to be at least 4 other pokemon following the giant. Trent gathered it had to be other evolutions of Bulbasaur. They must have heard Bulbasaur and reacted to it as if it were being attacked.

"Bulbasaur, bulba bulba, saur!" barked the boy's pokemon at the Vanusaur, trying to defend its trainer once again. Trent couldn't tell from before but his Bulbasaur cared for him greatly to stand up against a clan of its own peers. Even in the face of such danger.
"Venusaur! Saur!" roared the mighty pokemon lowering Trent out of the air and onto what felt like the top of the pokemon's head. Not even a minute later Trent felt the familiar nudge from his side. His Bulbasaur somehow convinced the pokemon to help them find their way out of the forest. Trent held his pokemon tightly overwhelmed with joy. The Venusaur then used two vines and began to spin them causing a gust of wind to blow. The cloud of ash that had covered the area was blowing away and revealed the dark forest that they had been travelling in. Trent looked down at his hands which now were blacker than a starless sky. It seemed to have been ages since he had last seen them. He then looked over to his pokemon companion to see he too was covered in soot.

"You know, you really deserve a name after all of this you know" said the trainer, his pokemon smiling back at him. "Your new name is Buddy. Is that okay?" the pokemon jumped into his trainer's lap which was a sure enough sign that it approved. The Venusaur then broke out into a steady trot covering more gournd than they possibly could have in these conditions. Behind them four pokemon with dark blue skin and what looked like a rose on its back. The bud was surrounded by big green pedals. Trent recognized them as Ivysaur from when he studied up on his choices for starter pokemon. Happy that they were now making progress Trent began to feel calm; like his father was back then.

As i'Aisha and Michael carried on travelling further into Lost Leaf Forest to the North, a voice was once again heared all around them, it was now the voice of a young woman whom spoke quickly, "Dear residents and guests of Tolan. You have been formally invited to Pride City. Please continue North through Lost Leaf Forest, the forest will soon be completely wiped out by the Tsunami so all those planning to camp in the forest in shelter, please think again, everything inside the forest including trees will be destroyed. You must continue to travel North, for all those who do not know which way is North it is the opposite of the sea. The Tsunami is now rapidly approaching the forest and has completely wiped out all life on the beach. As you continue to travel North you will come across a huge ancient wall and a large Golden Gate, this is the entrance to Pride City. Upon arriving the gate will open allowing you all access and shelter from the Volcano and the Tsunami, however armed guards are strategically placed around the city and anyone intending to cause harm to the city or the residents will be shot. The first thing you will notice is a huge castle which is home of a Gym Leader whom has went missing. You are not authorised to enter this castle under any circumstances. To the East is many homes of the locals, do not disturb these people as many have lost family members and are grieving for their losses. To the West lies a Pokémon Centre, you may get your Pokémon healed here for free and then go to the Pokémon mart situated next door to buy potions for your Pokémon. There is also a Pokémon Contest house opposite to the Centre, as you probably already assumed, this is closed for now. You will be sleeping in the basement or the top floor of the Pokémon Centre during your stay. No hostility must be shown towards any of our qualified Pokémon Nurse. There is also a huge cave to the North situated behind the Gym, nobody is allowed to enter this cave unless given permission from the Gym Leader whom is missing, so until now, entrance is restricted. Please continue North and provided you follow the rules, you will be given a warm welcome. We are speaking to you via speakers placed in strategic points in the trees, this is due to the dangers of Lost Leaf Forest, we used these speakers to give lost people instructions to escape unharmed. But these speakers will soon be destroyed once the Tsunami reaches the forest so you must continue North as quick as possible. Thank you."

i'Aisha nodded and began to run holding Vulpix in her arms, with Pikachu sprinting behind her, Michael followed holding Aqua in his arms, "Squirtle..." He said softly as the team headed towards the city.

As Aeon heard the announcement, he quickly changed his direction to the city, but when he jumped down from the cliff, he ran into the Golem again. Aeon was on top of the Golem, but it hadn't realized yet. "Don't move a muscle," Aeon said to Growlithe and Nidoran, who were also on the Golem. "He might not notice us." His belief was soon proved wrong by a strong roar. "RUN!!!" Aeon shouted. They dashed into the forest with the Golem in fast pursuit. It was crushing down trees and disturbing nearby pokemon. A certain Fearow was very angry and attacked the Golem. Whilst the Golem was occupied with the Fearow, Aeon and company escaped.

"That was close," Aeon muttered while panting. "I hope we don't run into another Golem."

"Growlithe," Growlithe agreed.

"Now off to the city, northward."

As they ran through the forest, Aeon was gradually running out of strength (lol, pun). The city was quite far away. He wasn't sure he could make it. Growlithe, seeing this, cheered Aeon on. "Growl, Growlithe!" he roared. "Thanks, Growlithe! We need to hurry if we are to make it," Aeon replied. "But we can do it, I know we can!"

And all of the sudden, A Mankey attacked Aeon. "Growlithe!" Growlithe roared, and used Ember. The Mankey, badly burned, ran off. "Thanks, Growlithe," Aeon said. "That lost us some time, though, we need to hurry even more, now. Let's go, Growlithe, Nidoran!" Aeon's pokemon replied with glee, and they ran off together, further out of the forest. As they ran, they were scratched by the bushes, grabbed by the trees, and tripped by the rocks, but they kept going...

OOC: Hiya everyone. We have now reached the 100+ Posts milestone xD Yay. From now on the story will begin to get darker now that we are on Tolan and we have our Starter Pokémon. From now on there will be no more out of character points. All out of character points please post into the out of character thread. Also if you remember on the first post was a list of all your Pokémon and their levels and moves. This has been removed and you yourself will have to post this onto the OOC thread. It is easy to do and will let you edit your Pokémons moves when they reach a certain level etc. Do not cheat though by raising your level because I will know what Level and Moves you have as only I can level you up. So fill out your parties information on the OOC thread. Other than that lets continue with this Chapter.

BIC: With a loud crash i'Aisha heard the tsunami smash into hundreds of trees which once stood tall over Tolan. "The Tsunami is close behind." She said softly, "What are we going to do?" She asked panicking, her heart racing as she spoke. They could not run for long as the Lost Leaf Forest was pitch black and aswell as that covered in thick smoke so it was hard to breathe. Running would either result in a lack of oxygen in about six seconds or falling over on something, or even getting split up with Michael. i'Aisha placed Vulpix on the floor, "Vulpix, your species have lived in volcanic environments right? So you can probably see through all this smoke?"

Vulpix nodded merrily, "Vul..." She said as she turned her head towards the direction in which the Tsunami was coming from, her eyes widened. She could see the Tsunami rushing towards them killing many people on the way, she shivered before turning forward, "Vulpix!" She shouted, i'Aisha picked up Pikachu and began to follow Vulpix.

Michael turned to Pikachu who looked frightened as i'Aisha held him warmly in her arms, "Pikachu. I know last time, this got us caught by Pokémon, but we need you to use Thunder Bolt as many times as you can North. Light up the area, generate enough electricity so you are more or less using Flash. Alright?" Pikachu nodded determained, then yellow sparks began to emit from his cheeks carefully dodging his owner. The forest became slighly clearer, "We need to do something about this smoke." Michael said as he tried to not breathe too much in, "Our lungs are going to be ruined." He said lightly, i'Aisha smiled slightly.

In the distance, what seemed to be sunshine could be seen trying to enter the forest. Michael grinned with relief, before turning to notice how close the Tsunami was, it was actually far away, but with the fact that it was travelling at a speed possibly one thousand times faster than i'Aisha and Michael, he knew at this rate there was no chance of survival. They ran and ran, until they literally could not run no more, they were starved of oxygen and fell to the floor in pain, i'Aisha tried to scream but the noise could not be made, she hardly had any breathe, as they tried to regain enough oxygen to run again, their lungs felt scourched by the sheer burning pain of the hot gas. Squirtle ran over to Michael, grabbing his hand and trying to pull him away from the approaching tsunami, and it continued to get closer, and closer, Squirtle began to cry, sea blue tears running down his cheeks as he lay on his owners back. Vulpix lay at i'Aisha's side, and Pikachu watched with terror as the tsunami was mearly minutes away, "Squirtle..." Squirtle whispered sadly, as he crawled under Michael's arm and lay down with his partner, "Squirtle." He said quietly, Michael watched, crying, but he could not move. i'Aisha lay with Vulpix, tears falling down her cheeks. Squirtle continued to repeat his name, in a peaceful manner, as if he was trying to comfort Michael.

When suddenly, "Bla...Blas...Blastoise..." The huge injured Blastoise which had rescued i'Aisha ealier on walked towards the weak Squirtle which lay with Michael, Blastoise tilted his head before turning to the approaching Tsunami, it was gaining on them fast. Michael looked at Blastoise and began to stand up, he was weak and could not run, but he wanted to make sure Blastoise did not try to harm Squirtle. "Blastoise!" Blastoise shouted, he then began to pat his huge shell signalling Michael and Squirtle to climb on, Squirtle raised his head in happiness and smiled, pulling Michael towards the Blastoise, Michael cautiously climbed on, followed by Squirtle who began to smile. Suddenly Blastoise raced off North, at a speed faster than Michael could imagine, before turning to i'Aisha and roaring his name in the air.

Suddenly a Wartortle shouted proudly in reply, "Wartortle." Three of them stood there, behind i'Aisha, "Wartortle!" The creature shouted, ordering i'Aisha to climb upon its shell. The Wartortle which was speaking was bigger than most, and big enough to carry i'Aisha, they had arrived with the Blastoise. One of the three Wartortles approached Pikachu, who smiled and climbed onto its shell. The other approached the Vulpix. The first one approaching i'Aisha, who eventually realised that the Pokémon was going to help her. As she climbed on the Wartortle shot forward then come to a halt. The three stood in a line and nodded their heads, "Wartortle!" The first one shouted, then they shot off North. Towards Pride City, i'Aisha was weak but had gained enough strength to smile. She turned her head left and right to realise that many of the, 'Savage Pokémon' of Lost Leaf Forest, were actually now helping many of the people arrive at the city.

End Of Chapter Three: Apocolyptic Tsunami.

Chapter Four: The Wonderful...Or Not So Wonderful? Pride City! You have now either managed so not die during the deadly Tsunami by reaching high enough ground or you were rescued by one of the many Pokémon whom call Tolan their home. If you managed to climb up the Mountain you high ground you must not travel around Lost Leaf Forest to arrive at Pride City. For those who managed to directly go through the forest your adventure in your first city starts now. Please read the bottom of the first post in the thread for details on how the city looks. When entering the city you will meet new people, and may find clues to why the Gym Leader mysteriously vanished, but what you ultimately end up doing in this city, is up to you.

Note: You may wonder why I ended the Apocolyptic Tsunami plot so soon? Well it was because there was not really alot to RP about other than. We ran. Not only that but with the RPers obviously going to arrive at Pride City at different times it would make the Tsunami not so Apocolyptic as it made it seem like it was casually moving at the same speed as them. It did not work as well as the first chapter with the sinking boat.

Plot Twists: As now we are in a proper city. You may start to develop your own plot twists, for example your characters having their own motives or you leaving the city to explore towns and hunt for Pokémon or you researching the Legend of Moltres who burnt down the city thousands of years ago. But you must develop your plot twists slowly and nicely so other RPers can also get involved with them. And do not make them to extreme.

Catchable Pokémon: Any Kanto or Johto Pokémon - Level 13 and Below. So if a Pokémon evolves before this Level then you can attempt to catch it, if it evolves after Level 13 you may battle the Pokémon but not attempt to catch it. Well you can, worth a shot. But you are unlikely to capture it.

Specific Evolutions: Fire Stones can be found in this city. So for those with Vulpix - Eevee or Growlithe this is your oppertunity to evolve your Pokémon, if you would want to that is.

Job Oppertunities: Once your character has all of his or her Pokémon over Level 25, they can apply for Gym Leader. But that will not happen soon so try to forget about that for now.

Even If Shield Ridge Village faced North, It was in fact on the south side of the island, Which made Readr's job A LOT harder, Sure the wave would most likely go over the village because of how it was built, He still worried about the dreaded Back Wash, For the last day and a half he had the kids he had saved start filling sand bags, as well as Evening and Rampart were moving rocks, to make a wall. He had done it before, During a Flood nearly a decade ago, but at that time none of the islanders ran. After Five hours into the first day he had commanded Rampart to go drag his ship back up to the small village, Nearly Four hours before midnight the boat was in the village. He had made sure that every one had been given rooms on above the Fourth floor of the hospital, Just to make sure. After the flood Readr had a tunnel that with twists and turns, but lead any access water out of the city.

But by the time of mid day into the second day, The Emergency Radio boomed through out the island telling people to go to Pride City, For a while he wanted to not go, just to work on defending his Venerated town. But he reluctantly stopped the assembly line and started to lead the scared kids and teachers to the city. He once again had his ceremonial armor on, his pokemon wore sets of their own. He had placed Rampart in the rear to make sure that no one fell behind, but he was up in front. He by the time they even made it half way he knew that they were not making good time, So he gave a command to 'Double Time It, You Dogs!' and the entire group, after much laughing and moaning, started to jog, soon they were all in one step, not to hard though for only thirty people.

Then he saw the One mile marker, Lets raise the moral he thought, as some one started this up.
I don't know What I've been told,
But Mister Readr is REALLY OLD!
Well he is Big and he wears red Armor,
Shining off the the roaring thunder!

He giggled at this fact, He was in fact the oldest person on the island. Then some one else started one.
My Teacher, She told me a LIE!
She said, Lets go to Talon and Learn about food DIE!
Well my parents signed on that dotted line,
And now were all about to die.

But Mister Readr will lead us home,
Even if he loses his own.
We will thank him for the rest of our lives,
His selfless actions will never DIE!

The group topped the hill and he saw the old wall that he had first seen when he came to the small island nearly Twenty years ago. He saw hundreds of pokemon had come to the area, just like they had a decade ago. "Alright kids, get inside that wall, I have something I must do." as he motioned the kids and teachers to go, once his pokemon had gotten to him they stopped, "You two go with them, I am going to do this alone." He said, his pokemon nodded and followed them, only slightly clanking. He turned towards the wall wall of water that was headed to them, He knew what that voice had meant when it said it could protect them from both Tsunami and Volcano, He had helped build a Shield Generator ran off of the islands Geo-Thermal energy. Now he ran at the wave yelling, He had one mission, Get every one out there into the castle. Then he heard then noise of trees snapping like twigs, he pulled up a radio from his belt, "Voice Password, Shield of the People. Voice Command, Readr's Shield." he yelled into the old KDF radio, and suddenly a new boom was made from the slates of metal holding out the environment, and a giant metal wall at the end of Lost Leaf Forest began to creek and moan, Most likely trapping any one out there, But then again the system was old, VERY old and rusty. They probably had Thirty minutes to get out before it even started to raise. He had the giant wall built because of the Prophecy that had been inscribed on in a cave when they were installing the Emergency Radios, Just to make sure that the olden Castle he had hidden in when he first moved on the island, stayed in one piece. After all, it was the islands oldest landmark. Even so, the 'Shield Wall' only bowed out making the water do the same as water does in a river, make a small pocket of dry land, And the 'Shield Wall' was only thirty feet high at its highest...

He turned back and walked back to the OLDER THAN SIN, cities gates, He was stopped at the gate. "SIR, you are under arrest for approaching with hostile actions." he was told by one of the guards, "Any last words?" the guard pointed his gun at him. Readr looked at the kid, "Don't you know who I am, OR are you going to make this guys life on this island end faster?" he asked, the guard lowered his gun, "Uh, No, I don't know who you are, why?" the guard asked. "I am Readr, Talon Islands 'Elder', and I suggest that you switch the gun to safety, before you hurt some one other than me." He smirked as the guards stopped and saluted him, "And here I thought you all forgot that police training you young kids had to go through, Reminds me, Hows the Chief?" he smirked inside his helmet at the thought of having a drink with his old friend, "Dead, Sir." Readr stopped, and sighed. The chief had been a good man, a very good man. "How?" he asked suddenly dreading even stepping foot into the city. "One of the first lava rocks got him and the rest of the barracks, our unit was spared, Si..." Readr held up his hand, "Don't call me sir, Makes me feel old." he said before he began to slowly walk into the City.

He passed the Pokemon Center, The Outer town, which had a lot of black mourning banners, Went every other step of the castle, then walked into it and went to HIS office, he sighed and pulled out a glass and a bottle of the islands best wine. He had kept the office for when Island meetings happened, Where the Gym leaders, Police Chief, and any one that wanted to come, came... He only served for settling disputes amongst the others, and for times like this, but he had the office for those LONG meetings that happened. He keyed the intercom, "Guards, Please BRING that one lady that thought she could take my job for a bit, in. I want to tell her she did a good job protecting the city while I was away." he released the button and poured himself a drink, then took a sip. Mew knows I will need one of these every night now... He thought, as he thought about the nightmares that were bound to happen.

OOC: TheGuardian. The 'Metal Wall' which has now appeared round the forest is okay, I will let this slip. We will assume that the city is sacred and a metal wall was built to preserve the genuine ancient wall created by the elders of the island. However you must remember to stop making your character into some sort of action hero. And who are all these random children following you =S The students on the boat were sixteen year olds. And only a handful of them survived. Please try to tone down your character and do not add major plot twists thanks. Everybody continue to post and post your parties on the OOC thread. I will be back on later and until then go to the OOC thread and vote for the story line you want.

If you need to know what the city looks like please go to the first post and scroll down. It gives a small description of Pride City. Other than that, for those who wish to collect a Fire Stone, they are to the North of the city just outside the forbidden cave. You may go up and collect a Fire Stone which will be just be lying on the ground. Hundreds of these stones once began to rain down from the Volcano. And the city allows tourist to take one for free. You may add it to your inventory and not necceserely use it as you might regret it later.

After the terrible tsunami was over totodile went missing. Rheoma went to seacrh any possible area where he might have gone. The rascal totodile isn't prone to do this so it was a first time thing for Rehoma. Then after a while of searching he came across a beam of light that made him squint his eyes. After he got out of the way of the light he saw he was standing right outside a huge metal wall. Totodile then came out of a bush squinting also at the reflected light.

They circled the whole wall almost before finding a door that led into the city. Just as they were about to enter the mysterious door they heard a sound coming what looked like to be a boy shouting now blastoise use hydro pump on the fire right over there. He was putting out some little fire that wasn't hit by the tsunami. As they walked into the odd door the only reaction was wow because the stuff that was in there was amazing. A person walking by them said hey just to be friendly

"Mister, can you tell me where I am please?" Rehoma asked in a shocked voice

"Of course my young friend. You are in the beautiful Pride City." The jolly man answered

"Wait so you guys didn't get hit by the volcano eruption or the tsunami. Wow those are some sturdy walls." Rehoma exclaimed.

"What do you mean by the volcano or the tsunami? We never heard or saw a thing." The man said in a puzzeled tone.

"There was an eruption that happened about a day ago and the tsunami happened just a little while ago." Rehoma told him.

"Well I'm sorry to hear about that, but good job by surviving both of them." The man said in a sarcastic sounding voice, "I'm Hiriato Kushima and I work at the poke'mart so come on over if you ever need anything and I will get you a deal you can't refuse.

"Sir I don't have any money to spend so I won't be going there to buy, but I will look some day I promise. Wait can I ask you a question" Rehoma said.

"Of course anything what is it" Hiriato asked.

"Do you know of a good spot where a lot of poke`mon are?" Rehoma asked.

"Well since two disasters have happened I don't know if any poke`mon are left. But I do know where they used to be a lot of them. It is about ten miles out west their is afield that you see a lot of poke`mon." Hiriato answered.

"Thank you I will check up on it and see for myself." Rehoma replied now happy because there was life and now there is hope for life.

OOC: Pride City is the Capital of Tolan. It was created thousands of years ago by Moltres worshipping people whom now have all died. At one point in history it is believed Moltres flew to the city and burnt all that lived inside. Nobody knows why this happened but legend says the people began to treat the island without the respect it deserved and in a rage the creature flew down and killed all life. True or false? Evidence suggests that this is true. And one mysterious thing is a carving of wood outside the city which shows a bird covered in flames destroying the city. The city was found with a huge wall build around it which stood fifty feet. And a Golden Gate which kept all unwanted guests outside. Once the people of Tolan managed to find away into the destroyed city they rebuilt it. Only two things remained unchanged - the wall. And the huge castle which was used by the founder of the town - as his Gym. To the East lies many houses of families who have moved into the town. And to the South East lies crops growing in which the people eat as they rarely travel outside their town. To the South lies the Golden Gate and Lost Leaf Forest. To the South West lies a statue of the creature Moltres. To the South lies a Pokémon Contest - Centre and Mart. And to the North lies the castle which is the Gym and a huge cave which is blocked off by rocks.

BIC: As Blastoise raced out of the forest, the bright sunlight stung Michael's eyes. He smiled with relief however, he was safe. i'Aisha followed, lying on the shell of one of three Wartortles whom had rescued them with Blastoise. She grinned with joy and turned her to the forest, the Tsunami was still approaching, mere seconds away, when out of the ground, a huge metal wall emerged blocking the path of the devastating wave.

A tall woman stepped forward, she had cold, empty white eyes and pale skin with long blonde hair. She was dressed in a deep purple cloak, "Do not fear. The wall will stop the Tsunami touching our city." She said calmly, "The wall you see behind you." She said, pointing to a huge stone wall which surrounded the city, "Was created thousands of years ago by the people who lived her before us. As a sign of respect we created an artificial wall to preserve the original." She sighed as she watched as the metal wall had grew so high that the Tsunami could not be seen, "All those still inside the forest would have died now." She whispered, her voice trembling, "But do not mourn them." She said coldly, "We have no time to mourn them, today is only the start of what will become, the End of Tolan..."

Michael shuddered and Squirtle leaped into his arms, i'Aisha held Vulpix with Pikachu at her side, as they turned towards Pride City, the huge magestic Gold gate swung open slowly, revealing a large city filled with houses and farms, in the center of the city was a huge Castle which stood higher than the wall, further North behind the castle was a large cave. i'Aisha turned to the woman who continued to speak, "Enter our town. And pray to God it will provide us safe shelter from the dark times that are to come."

Melinda and her group were able to reach Shield Ridge Village just when the voice made it's first announcement. Though she was glad that both herself and her group made it out of the harm's way quite a bit before the tsunami came, it also left a sour taste in her mouth when she thought about the girl who, for some reason left. The Gym Leader could not even begin to think about why she left the safety of the group, but she did. Melinda wondered whether or not she should go after the child, but then heard the voice make it's second announcement.

"Well isn't that just great," Melinda muttered. "If that girl went into the forest, then she's pretty much doomed. If only I..." The Gym Leader shook her head, then felt a nudge and looked over to see Savyna look up at her with concern. With a sigh, she patted the Dragonair's nose. "Well, I guess there's nothing I can do about it now. She made her own choice and now has to live or die with it." She then looked about her. "As for me...I need to find a new Gym."

-/-/-

Natasha was very disappointed when the Ekans escaped the ball and disappeared into a different part of the forest. But that disappointment was quickly washed away when the voice sounded out and said that a tsunami was coming and would wipe out everyone and everything that was in the forest. Natasha crused at her own luck and, after quickly picking up her Eevee, began to run in a direction she hoped was either North or South. She could not believe that this was really happening to her, but there wasn't much that she could do about it other then run.

"Why did this have to happen to me?" Natasha whimpered as she ran. "Why did I have to go on this stupid trip? Why did I have to run away from the other kids and that Gym Leader woman? Why did the volcano have to erupt right now!? Why, why, why, why!?"

But if there were anyanswers for the unfortunate girl, they were not letting themselves be known right at that moment. So, Natasha just held onto Helen's somewhat bruised and warm body and continued to run. Sadly she was not making much progress for she kept on either tripping on things as she ran or had to dive into some bushes or something of the like to hide from the many powerful Pokemon she came across. Needless to say, when she appeared on the beach she bearly had the energy to stand up, let alone run. To make things worse, she could see Pride City not too far off in the distance. But when she tried to run towards it, she collapsed.

"No..." Natasha whimpered, holding onto Helen as tight as she could. "I don't want to die...I don't want to..."

"Eevee..." Helen said softly, licking her trainer's face as she tried to comfort her.

"This is it," Nastasha continued. "It's the end for me. I'm 15 years old and it's the-" She was suddenly interrupted when she was lifted off of the ground. Panicing slightly, she twisted around to see that she was being held up by the same Kangaskhan from before. More tears came into her eyes, thinking that the Parent Pokemon was going to kill her right then and there. She was there for very surprised when the Kangaskhan carefully placed her into it's pouch beside it's baby.

Natasha looked up at the Kangaskhan, then gasped when she was jarred by it's surprisionly fast running. Here she thought that the Kangaskhan was going to take her back to the forest, but was once again shocked when she discovered that it was running straight towards Pride City. When they reached the golden gates, the Kangaskhan took Nastasha out of it's pouch and, with out a second glance, ran away from the city.

"Thanks..." Nastash whispered.

"Vee..." Helen repeated.

Natash then saw the water pull back and, knowing that it was a sign of the tsunami coming, quickly got up and jogged into the city when the gates opened up for her. Once inside, she gave a deep sigh and flopped to her knees. "That was a close one..." The girl muttered and got up onto her feet again.

"Um, excuss me," Natasha said to a random woman who happened to walk passed her. "Do you mind telling me where the Pokemon Center is."

"Sure hon," the woman said and pointed in the direction where the Pokemon Center could be found. "There's also a Pokemart right next to it, if you need it."

"Thank you..." Nastasha said with a polite bob of her head and walked in the direction the woman told her.

It didn't take the girl that long to reach the Pokemon center, dispite her slow pace. Natasha then walked up to the counter and placed the now sleeping Helen on it. The Nurse on duty at that time then turned and raised an eyebrow at the girl and her condition.

"My, you've been through a lot, haven't you?" The Nurse asked.

"Yes...I have..." Nastasha muttered. "Do you mind healing my Eevee for me?"

"An Eevee huh?" Nurse Joy commented, taking the Helen carefully. "You know, we have a whole bunch of Fire Stones to the north near the Gym. All tourist are free to take one. If you where thinking about evloving this little girl into a Flareon, whether now or later, then you should go and pick one up."

"Sure...I might do that..." Natasha said, her eyelids droping. "But I want to sleep first...I've had a long day."

"I bet," the Nurse said with a kind smile. "We have rooms either upstairs or down in the basment. You're Eevee should be healed when you wake up."

"Okay...thanks..." Natasha said and made her way slowly to the stairs to the upper room.

i'Aisha smiled brightly as she saw the girl whom was also hiding from the Kangaskan ealier that day, arrive at the city. The Kangaskan glanced at the metal wall which now surrounded its home and roared, before running off to the East towards Mount Moltres. i'Aisha watched puzzled and then waved goodbye as Blastoise approached Squirtle, "Blas..." It whispered softly, before racing off, followed by the Wartortle. Michael then turned to the amazing large gate which was now open and began to walk forward into Pride City. The wall and gate was magnificent, it was one of the many wonders of Tolan. How people thousands of years ago managed to create it was hard to understand. As he stepped foot in Pride City, Squirtle sat in his arms smiling brightly. i'Aisha followed behind, holding Vulpix, with Pikachu walking besides them.

Inside the city humans and Pokémon gathered outside the castle, there was not enough room inside the Pokémon Centre and the houses to occupy all of the people who had evacuated to the city and so they wished to stay in the Gym. i'Aisha glanced in the distance as Pokémon trainers gathered outside an entrance to a cave. She then looked to the West where she saw the young girl and her Eevee enter the Pokémon Centre, "We need to go there." She said quietly to her cousin, he looked at her puzzled.

"Where?" Michael asked petting Squirtle who seemed excited.

"The Pokémon Centre." i'Aisha replied beginning to walk towards it.

Once they had entered the Pokémon Centre, i'Aisha approached a desk, a woman stood behind it, "Hello there. Welcome to the Pride City Pokémon Center, how may I help you to day?" She asked brightly.

"Could you heal my Pokémon?" She said politely, placing Vulpix on the desk and picking up Pikachu, "And his." She said, pointing to Michael.

"Sure. Please release all your Pokémon from their Pokéballs and place them on the desk." The woman said kindly.

Michael pulled a Pokéball off his belt and clicked the pressure cap, the Pokéball grew in size, "Seel, out you come!" He said, the Pokéball clicked open and with a flash of green light, Seel emerged on the desk, Michael then placed Squirtle down and i'Aisha placed Pikachu down.

"Excellent." The Nurse said, petting Vulpix, "Did you know that North to the Gym there lies a cave which produces many Fire Stones. I see you have a handsome young Vulpix here and if you would like you could travel to the cave and pick up one of the many Fire Stones which lie on the ground free of charge."

i'Aisha smiled sweetly, "I'll see. I like Vulpix though. So how long will it take to heal him?"

"Not long, but due to the number of injured Pokémon we can not estimate a time right now. However, you may go to the second floor and purchase a meal from the café. Due to the circumstances, students of Kanto are allowed one free meal." The Nurse said smiling. i'Aisha nodded and turned towards the stairs, Michael followed her.

"Venusaur, Venu!" grunted the galloping grass type. It pointed at the large wall that they were approaching with one of the vines that was used to blow away the smog. Sunlight soon shone down on them as they had made it out of the forest in one piece. Trent then looked at the huge stone wall, it was huge, but how would he get into the town. The Venusaur stopped moving as if also trying to find a way help the child reach the inside. Trent scanned the wall for a glimpse of some sort of gate to get in. He could hear the water in the rushing through the forest uprooting everything that used to once inhabit the area. To their right was something very shiny as it was reflecting the sun light off of it very brightly. Trent figured it was probably some type of gate.

"Venusaur I think there is a gate over there. Can you head that way." The mighty pokemon shook its head causing Trent and buddy to raise several inches into the air. The grass pokemon made a gesture to the Ivysaur signaling them to head in the opposite direction and then took off with the teen and his pokemon. As the sped off you could hear the cries of the Ivysaur as their leader left them, they knew that he wouldn't make it back in time to possibly survive. As the voices began to void the shining structure that Trent had spotted grew closer. The gate was a far better sight than Trent could imagine. It was golden gate, and it seemed to feel Trent with happiness. He felt safe just looking at it reflected the sun onto his face filling his body with warmth.

"Venu Venu!" roared the Venusaur lifting up the boy and his Bulbasaur with his vines and placing them down in front of the gate. Starting to feel saddened by the fate that was in this pokemon's future Trent hugged its face and shed a small tear.

"Thank you so much, Venusaur" said the boy pushing stepping back from the friendly giant. The Pokemon smiled back at him. It then pat Buddy on his head several times and turned around and walked to where they left the Ivysaur. "Well I don't see any other way of getting in so lets try knocking." The boy said raising his hand and knocking it against the gate. A churning sound could be a heard as the gate slowly opened revealing the city which stood within. It was magnificent, there was everything you would imagine a capital town to have. It even had a large castle in the center which looked over the entire town. Trent and his pokemon walked in not knowing what to expect as they had already been through so much.

"Who the hell are you anyway?" Sapphire barked, glaring at him through the darkness. He stepped forward a little but Sapphire still couldn't see him. "Light up the darkness, Light." Sapphire threw the ball and out popped that little orange lizard who opened it's mouth wide and spat out a stream of fire in the mystery boy's direction. For a short moment the irises of his eyes were lit up, a darker red than the fire, and as he saw the danger approaching him, he jumped out of the way before the attack could hit him. A few flames caught his hat and the end of his long coat, but nothing too damaging took place. He looked rather shocked at how the small Charmander used such an attack only for a light source. The Pokémon stopped using ember, and it's tail was enough to light up the area around them. Sapphire had taken in the boy's appearance. Red eyes, dark hair and dark clothing too accept for the bright crisp white shirt that almost seemed to glow in the dimmed light.

"You didn't have to attack me little fella." The boy nervously said, a snicker stuck in his throat and a sweat drop dribbling down the back of his head. "If you must know who I am, I'm a student like you. Malex is the name." He offered out a hand and curved his lips with a huge grin to greet the girl. He had never seen her in lessons, or at lunch and break time. If she had seen her, then he certainly never noticed her before.

"Erm." Sapphire reluctantly grabbed a hold of his hand and shook it nervously. "My name's Sapphire." She retreated her hand as fast as she could and before she could say anything more there was a huge roar of violent waves that could be heard from behind them. "What's that?!" She questioned, turning the way she came only to see an ever increasing huge wave. A tsunami it had to be. Sapphire returned Light into his Pokéball and Malex had grabbed a hold of her wrist dragging her a long with him.

"F*ck!" He shouted, as he picked up more speed trying his hardest not to lose contact with Sapphire. The girl was terrified but tried to keep her features calm as to not burden this guy with her own feelings. How she could think of things like that at a time like that was beyond even her knowledge, but it was the type of girl she was. "Stop daydreaming! Start running faster for Christ's sake!" He shouted, snapping her out of her daze and she looked down at the floor. The Earth underneath her was moving at a fast speed. Watching it rush from underneath her made her feel sick and dizzy. She closed her eyes and held her forehead in her hand, trying to regain stamina and health. Bad idea. There was a sharp snag on her foot and her wrist broke from Malex's grab. He turned back and watched as her chest bashed into the harsh Earth. They both started to feel the water pray out and pelt them as though the weather was heavy rain. Malex thrusts his hand through the wind in down to Sapphire. His life flashing before his eyes as he saw the top of the humongous wave towering over them. He shut his eyes tightly and Malex knew it was over. He whispered to himself in a tremble, as tears poured fluently from his eyes and down his cheeks, draining into his mouth.... "It's over." Malex's eyes fell shut and in his last breath he announced

"I DON'T WANT TO DIE A VIRGIN!!!"

As he shouted that, the rain had stopped. Nothing had crashed against him and tore him limb from limb in a whirlpool of harsh cold waves. In fact he felt warm and safe. Someone was hugging him and stroking his hair. He opened his eyes, rather confused wandering if he had died with out knowing and was now in the comfort of an angle. He looked up and through the contacts, his eyes met with royal blue ones. The figure moved and a bell rang, almost like a pet collar found on Meowths and other house hold Pokémon. He looked past the ringlets of hair and saw he was up in the sky, clouds floating by. He blinked blankly, not understanding anything at all. Malex then looked back at the blue eyes girl. Her skin was very pale. Not seeing Sapphire in proper light had blinded him from the realization of who it was.

"I know I've only just met you, but gosh you're such a perv." Sapphire said turning away. She had hugged his body to keep warm and keep him warm too. He had lost his hat in all the rush, so Sapphire couldn't help but stroke the silk hair. It was slightly messy, but still felt soft. She moved away from him, but not very far. She stroked the feathers of the bird that they were sat on. "We must be the luckiest people on this planet." Sapphire stated before opening her eyes and looking down at the Tsunami.

"W-What are we on?" Malex questioned looking at the creature. "Is this... a Pidgeot?!" Malex had to look twice before believing it.

"Yup. As you closed your eyes and admitted defeat by the waves, this beauty swooped down and scooped us up. I'm very glad that we didn't die. It was fast too. It managed to pluck my foot from that branch or whatever it was, before rescuing us." Sapphire continued to stroke the feathers as they glided through the air.

"S-So I owe my entire life to a Pokémon?" Malex questioned, laying his head in his hand. "This is truly amazing." He began to laugh slightly. Not very loudly, but enough to make Sapphire confused. The boy had nearly died but he was giggling. "It's nothing I ever thought would have happened." He spat out before looking at Sapphire and clearing his throat. "What happened to my hat anyway?" His voice had turned deep and low, as though he was trying to keep whatever cool he had.

"It flew away when Pidgeot swooped down at us." The girl stated, hearing her stomach growl loudly. She looked down into her lap fighting back a blush. "Gosh I'm starving." She whimpered.

"My hat is lost?!" Malex nearly jumped off the pokémon before Sapphire grabbed him and stopped him. Her eyes widened as she had no idea what was wrong with him. To her, hats never meant anything and she was certain that he could by another one at a later date. "Owe! A girl I liked back on Cinnabar brought me that!" He squeaked before settling back on the Pidgeot who was now diving down to the ground. "What's going on!" He clung to the Pokémon and Sapphire ended up falling forward and hugged Malex from behind. The Pokémon landed and the two human tumbled off the back of it. Sapphire sat up on the ground coughing slightly before standing up and helping Malex up who was flat on his back. They both turned to the Pokémon and bowed in gratitude.

"Thank you so much. You were very kind." Sapphire stated, wanting to give something to the Pokémon but not having anything it would like.

"Hold on." Malex dipped his hand into one of his deep pocket and pulled out a berry. It was red with a bit of a stem and he held it out. The Pidgeot looked at it confused for a moment. It studied the food carefully before plucking it from his hands and nomming on it immediately. It let out a sound of delight before flapping it's wings and taking off into the air. Malex waved to it as Sapphire just glared as it flew away and into the distance out of sight. Malex turned to Sapphire. "Are you alright?" He questioned before placing a hand on her shoulder.

A shudder came to Sapphire's being. She was not used to being touched at all, but the experience of hugging this boy was a knew taste, and she had to admit that it was one of the best feelings she had ever felt. It was different from when her older brother Gilbert hugged her. Even though Malex never hugged back, the warmth of his body was enough to satisfy Sapphire who had now placed her hand on top of his. "I nearly died." She said blunt and coldly. "Do you think I'm alright?"

Malex blinked and looked down at the ground, muttering a small laugh under his breath. "I guess you're absolutely fine then. You don't look like a girl who is easily phased by such events." Malex gave out a charming smiled and looked into Sapphire's eyes. She felt reassurance that she would be safe a long side this boy and had decided to keep close to him.

"Look." She pointed behind him. There was i'Ashia and Michael at a golden gate talking to a weird old lady. They had entered the city and once Malex and Sapphire had saw them getting accepted, they ran over to the gate seeing the pale blonde lady with freaky eyes. "E-Excuse me but could you tell us where this is please?"

There was no point in asking. Even with the name of the town, the teenagers wouldn't be able to figure out where they were or where they needed to head. The lady looked at Malex and Sapphire. "Pride City of course." She stepped aside and allowed the two to see the place. "This place was here many years before my time of living here." She stated as Sapphire and Malex tried to take in the gorgeous views.

"Is it alright to-"

"Take refuge here?" The lady asked. "Of course. Let's pray to God that this place can shut out the darkness that is holding over this region." The lady bowed her head and pointed to the city. "You may enter." and as she spoke, the two did just that, gulping as they looked around.

The first thing that was on Sapphire's mind was to get Light and Slowpoke healed up. But, with Malex now around that wasn't going to happen as soon as she'd have liked it to. He grabbed hold of her arm and now that they were both safe, he could afford to tick her off through moaning over his lost hat. "We need to buy a hat that looks exactly like that one!" He shouted into Sapphire's face.

Sapphire crinkled her nose and slapped the boy around the face. "You have problems! Who card if your girlfriend brought it you, it's just a hat!" Sapphire's face glowed pink, just like the slap mark which was on Malex's face. She was slightly annoyed by the mention of this girl, and how he was obsessed with wear that wouldn't normally be important. "Besides, it's not like if you buy another one, then it can really replace this amazing gift. It didn't come from HER did it?" Sapphire folded her arms across her chest and glared at Malex.

He blinked for a moment. "Well for starters, she isn't my girlfriend... yet. She's just a girl I like." He blushed slightly and softly ran his fingers over the slap mark. "Secondly, I feel naked with out a hat. If I buy another one it'll stop this numb feeling in my head."

"Maybe you're growing a brain..." Sapphire whispered too herself and Malex decided to take no notice of the girl.

"But if I get a hat that looks like the one I lost... then that girl wont get mad at me for losing the hat..." Malex looked down at the ground. His eyes quivering and for a moment he looked like he was going to cry, but Sapphire could see that he wasn't going to let himself be so emotional in public over such a little bother.

"Fine." Sapphire gave in. "We'll find a store that sells hats, but man, you may not even see her again. You do know that don't you?"

Malex nodded and smiled at Sapphrie before tugging her along on a search for a hat. They had came to a shop that sold Pokémon and human accessories and hats. Sapphire looked into her purse and smiled slightly. After the rough time they were having, it only seems fair that Light and Slowpoke was treated to a little bit of 'bling'. She threw the two Pokéballs into the air and out came Light and Slowpoke.

"Mmmmm K. You can choose whatever you want, but only one thing each OK?" Light nodded and raised off to look at things while Slowpoke just sat there and stared at his Mistress, completely confused about what was going on. Sapphire slapped her face with her palm. "Urrrrrgh. Go choose something you like!!!!" She announced, pushing the creature off. Malex began to laugh at her.

"Wow, raising a Slowpoke must be tough?" He asked with a giggle.

"Ah, I've only had Dumb Dumb for a little while, he's already driving me nuts." Sapphire sighed slightly but had a tiny smile on her lips.

"Um. That's right, you haven't met Autumn yet." Malex had a proud smile on his lips when Sapphire jerked her head up to see why he spoke. She looked pretty clueless but everything fell into place when he threw a Pokémon against the ground. A small green Pokémon was soon visible and it licked it's paw. There was a leaf on it's head and a certain elegance to the little creature. "Autumn, say hi to Sapphire." The creature looked up at the girl and smiled with it's eyes closed and it's head tilting to the side.

"Chik!" It announced in a greeting.

"Why hello there Autumn." Sapphire bent down and began to stoke it. Autumn rubbed it's head against Sapphire and sniffed her a little getting to know her. With the vague cent of Malex on her, Autumn could accept Sapphire. "Are you a boy or a girl then?"

"Girl of course." Malex interrupted before sending off the Pokémon to go and find a thing it liked too. "Why would I give her a name like Autumn if she was a he?" Malex chuckled slightly and walked over to the human hat wear.

"I thought Summer would have been a better name for her, taking into consideration the evolution she undergoes and such." Sapphire stated while beginning looking through the hats, looking to one that was similar to what Malex was wearing when they first met. She didn't know if it had any detail, so a plain black one would have been fine enough.

"Um... But... Summer is the name of the girl I like... And I didn't her to share the same name with my Pokémon-"

"You're never going to see her again." Sapphire snapped pushing a hat in front of him. "Get over it, we're stuck on this Island. I don't think we'll ever get back to Kanto!" Sapphire screamed.

"F*ck off!" Malex snatched the hat from her hand and glared at her. "Why shouldn't I have hope of seeing her again? Stop being such a b!tch and let me have hope! You may not have anything in Kanto to go back for, but I do, and I'm going to keep striving to get back there. Stop being such a jealous prick! You don't even know me so why snap at me over another girl. Jesus!"

Sapphire looked up at Malex with a weary expression. She was losing the will to fight back what she was truly feeling. Her heart felt heavy and her stomach was churning with acid. She felt sick and dizzy once again. She had lost herself to the heat of the moment. It wasn't like Malex was her brother... Arguing with a stranger, and trying to get the message that relationships don't matter through to a person you only know the name of wasn't easy. Sapphire bowed her head. "You're right. The only thing back home in Lavender town is my big brother Gilbert. I don't know much about friends, family... and I know nothing about relationships... I guess I just felt for a moment that you was Gilbert... He often talks about these 'wonderful' girls he had 'fallen in love' with, and I would often try to snap him out of it." She laughed a little and as she did the bell on her neck jiggled.

Malex looked at her. The fake laughter... He could tell he had deeply hurt her, but at such an eventful time like what it was, the last thing he wanted was someone telling him that he'd never see the girl of his dreams again. He was going to try and get back to Kanto... and he was now determined to take Sapphire back with him so she could see her brother.

"This food is disgusting..." i'Aisha said, glancing down at a plate with two burnt pieces of toast and burnt fruit, "You can tell that these Chefs must only cook for Pokémon...I mean, what the hell? Toast and berries." She said sarcastically, Michael laughed and pushed his plate forward in disgust.

"That old lady we spoke to before...She said something about the end of this island...Are we ever gonna go home?" Michael asked.

"Yeah...Well, I dunno...I can't tell the future can I?" She said softly, i'Aisha thought the prospect of a new life in Tolan could potentially be a good one.

"I suppose you're right...But, this city. Pride City, there is something creepy about it. Something sinister. It seems like a prison, with a huge dark gothic castle and a cave with the entrance blocked and suspicious people with grim predicitions of the future...Plus the fact that is has like a fifty foot wall and a gate which one closed we cannot get out of. And armed guards. There is something wrong with this place." He said, pushing the burnt fruit around with his fork.

"Could i'Aisha Maria Smith and Michael Alan Smith report to the desk immediately. Your Pokémon are healed." Said a mechanical voice from a speaker, "I repeat could i'Aisha Maria Smith and Michael Alan Smith report to the desk immediately." The voice stopped. Michael shivered, and i'Aisha stood up leaving her plate on the table.

"Come on." She said, they walked around all the many cluttered tables which had been prepared for the students till they reached the stairs, "Look at all these people!" i'Aisha said in surprise, about twenty people sat in the lobby of the Pokémon Centre cradling their injured Pokémon, "Oh God. How the hell is this city going to cope with all these people. We need to get our Pokémon and get out of here."

"Oh. Hello again!" The Nurse said brightly, "Your Pokémon are extremely well behaved, we have returned them to their Pokéballs to save space. Please do not release them till you leave the Pokémon Centre."

"Sure." Michael said, i'Aisha and Michael then strolled out of the Pokémon Centre pushing themselves through the crowds, once they stood outside they glanced around Pride City, "Squirtle. Come out!" Michael shouted, Squirtle appeared on the ground infront of them. i'Aisha released Vulpix. They clipped the Pokéballs containing Seel and Pikachu to their belts, "i'Aisha look over there, there's Sapphire." Michael said, pointing to Sapphire whom was shouting at a boy. He grinned as he saw her Slowpoke glancing thoughtlessly around the city.

"Forget about her, we need to go and ask questions about this city. Something isn't right. I agree with you there." She said, waving to Sapphire and then walking towards the cave which was blocked off by rocks and a group of shady looking women.

After a while looking around the city he decided to go to the place where Hiriato told him there were a lot of pokémon are. So, he went out of the door he came in a little while ago. He thought to himself man this will be a great oppertunity to train totodile. After they got about half way there, Rehoma remembered that he packed a water bottle if he got thirsty. He gave so to his blue partner and then drank almost the rest.

"Ok totodile I have been thinking and you need a nickname," Rehoma told his partner.

"Tota, totodile," totodile answered.

"No that is you name now. Lets think..... I got it what if I call you jet," Rehoma exclaimed.

"Toto, toto," totodile said in a cheerful voice.

"Ok jet, lets find you a friend." Rehoma said happy also at his best friends new name.

After they sat and waited for a while the spot that was supossedly filled with pokémon was empty and burnt. But then jet spotted something moving in a bush. Jet bumped Rehoma in the arm to show it to him. Then the tiny creature stepped out of the protection of the bush to reveal itself to them. It was a little meoweth that was lost.

Name:Meoweth
Species: Meoweth
Gender:N/A
Level: 6
Attacks: Furry Cutter, Growl, Scratch

"Ok jet time to show this moeweth whos in charge," Rehoma said in a ready pose.

"Now jet use scratch to sweep it off its feet!" Shouted Rehoma.

The tiny blue aligator ran up to the scared meoweth which looked like it just got done battling itself. The attack hit, but the meoweth was not going to be beaten so it hit jet as it was swinging to do it one more time. The meoweth quickly started hitting the pokémon with its razor sharp claws. Jet began to fall but the command to attack came, and he hit the swinging meoweth with a hard blow from its sharp claws. The meoweth fell back a few steps and bent over to catch its breath and composure.

"Now while hes down Leer to soften him up!" Rehoma demanded looking at the injured meoweth.

Two red beams shot out of the water pokémon's eyes to hit him in the stomach where it seemed to be its weak spot. The comand came again to attack the gasping meoweth where the beams hit. Then the Meoweth escaped the oncoming scratch with what it seemed like with ease. The meoweth was dodging all that came his way until something happened. It looked like his leg got stuck in something. It was a log that was covered with leaves.

"Perfect now he can't move get him!" Rehoma said in a determained voice.

Jet dashed after the meoweth who was trying to pull his leg from the log. Jet hit the stuck pokémon dead on in the stomach with lunged claws riping his stomach to pieces.

"Make him feel like hes going through hell jet! Go pokéball! Do your job!" Rehoma shouted as he threw the red and white ball toward the stuck meoweth. Then the meoweth turned red and the ball absorbed the wisp it became. As it fell the ball twiched because the meoweth was struggling to escape.

"If I get him we will be best friends. Just the three of us." Rehoma said in a confident tone.

Royal gasped for air as he reached Palm Beach. He met Alita sitting there on her beach chair. "Ms. Salazar... why... did we... have... to go... to... this... trop... ical... island?" Royal inquired. "The reason was to explore a new, undiscovered region. We instead found ourselves plunging right into a raging deathtrap. Now, we have no refuge," said Alita. Alita got up and looked around. "Pride City hasn't been destroyed? We do have refuge!" exclaimed Alita in joy. Meanwhile, Magby was drinking water from Alita's backpack. Alita looked back at her chair. She saw Magby drinking the water. "If you come with me, Magby, you'll get that water and more luxuries," Alita said. All right, Magby, we have got some unfinished business before we head to Pride City.

Magby
LV: 28
Gender: Female
Moves: Ember- Fire Punch- Faint Attack-Confuse Ray- Flame Wheel

"Poliwag, lets do this," commanded Alita. "Poli!" the energetic Poliwag said. Magby let out a fierce grunt. "Poliwag, use tail whip!" Alita commanded. Poliwag jumped into the air and swung his tail right at magby. Magby used Flame Wheel. Poliwag was fiercely skyrocketing in the air. "Come on, Poliwag, you can do it. Don't lose your confidence just because a Magby tossed you into the air!" encouraged Alita. Poliwag opened his eyes and his body and controlled his landing. Magby ambushed Poliwag with his Fire Punch. Poliwag fought back as hard as she could and then used Bubble. He inhaled with a lot of air support and let out an extremely powerful bubble. Magby was knocked down really hard. "He's been weakened!" exclaimed Alita. Just as she said that, Magby got up to continue fighting.

OOC: Meowth was captured. Would you like to give Meowth a nickname?

BIC: i'Aisha glanced around the town that made her feel strange: she glanced up at the guards who stood in towers aiming down at the students as they entered the city, she understood that the wall was there to protect the city agaisnt attacks, but she could not understand why they had armed guards. She turned to Michael and titled her head towards the open gate, signalling them to leave, as they began to run towards the gate, people watched them open mouthed, looking frightened, i'Aisha raised her eyebrows - she did not know why everbody looked so terrified.

Then a loud bang was heard and i'Aisha jumped in the air in shock as a bullet was fired at her from an armed guard in a tower, "What the hell?" She screamed, pointing at the man who tried to shoot her, he aimed the sniper at her head and Michael spotted a red light on her cheek.

"i'Aisha, no!" He screamed, pushing her out the way, the guard let out another shot and the bullet flew just past Michael's head, suddenly the man was heard speaking through a speaker phone, "Students must be reminded not to attempt to leave the city." She watched trembling as the Golden gate began to slide shut, "Attempting to escape would result in excecution." Her eyes grew wider.

'What the hell?' She thought to herself, 'He said escape...not leave? And excecution?" She watched as the locals shivered and began to run to their homes in panic, "Oh my God..." She said quietly, they where now stuck inside the city, unable to leave.

"My Natasha Wingate please report to the desk, your Pokemon are heal," the voice on the announcement said. "I repeat, would Natasha Wingate please report to the desk, your Pokemon are healed."

Natasha groaned and slowly got up from the mat she laid down in not that long ago. The girl had been taking a quick catnap when she was awaken by the announcement. She muttered a few things under her breath before yawning loudly and stretched her limbs. Natasha then made her way down the stairs to the main entry way. She was very surprised to see so many people on the floor right then and to see the same two kids where were also harassed by the Kangaskhan walk out. Natasha then walked to the desk and the same Nurse from before smiled and handed the girl her Eevee in her Pokeball.

"There you go now," the Nurse said cheerfully. "We ask that you do not let your Eevee out until you exit the Pokemon Center."

"Alright, thank you," Natasha said and then walked out of the Pokemon Center, trying not to bump into people too much. Once outside she opened the Pokeball up and Helen appeared, looking much better then she did before. "Hey there girl."

"Vee!" Helen said and jumped into her trainer's arms.

Nastasha smiled at her Pokemon, then remembered what the Nurse said to her before. "Hey Helen, how would you like to become a Flareon?" The girl asked her Eevee.

"Eevee?" Helen asked, tilting her head slightly.

"Well, there's this cave just up ahead and, according to the Nurse Joy, it has a whole bunch of Fire Stones in it. People are free to take one. So I figured that, if you wanted to, I could grab on and make you a Flareon. It doesn't have to be right here and now, but maybe for later..." Nastasha explained.

Helen thought about it for a little bit, before a smile crossed her face. "Vee! Eevee vee!" Helen said cheerfully.

"Alright then," Nastasha said, smiling herself. "Then lets go get a Fire Stone!" That decided, the girl held onto her Eevee and ran towards the cave to the north.

It didn't take them too long to reach the cave taking just one Fire Stone under the close observation of a guard. Natasha then heard the gun fire off and the speaker explain what would happen if you tried to leave. Natasha's heart very nearly stopped.

"We...we can't leave..." Natasha whispered. "Or...if we do...we die...?" She held Helen even closer to her as a few more tears came into her eyes.

i'Aisha stopped in her tracks, "But...why?" She whispered to Michael, "Why can't we leave? It doesn't make sense, what have we done to deserve all this?" She held Vulpix in her arms, Vulpix purred and snuggled into i'Aisha to make her feel better, "I know this might seem a bit soon..." She said to her happy Pokémon, "But how would you like to evolve?" Vulpix cheered happily and i'Aisha smiled, turning to the cave which held the Fire Stones, she then nudged into Michael and whispered almost silently, "The cave is blocked off...at first it seemed it was to keep things from getting in...but now it seems it is to keep things from getting out, keep us, from getting out...But if I make Vulpix evolve then she will be able to help us escape, right?"

Michael nodded, constantly turning his head to the guards, as he watched as a young girl and her Eevee walked towards the cave he noticed a man with another sniper was aiming down at her, and one was aiming down at Sapphire, and one at him, at every student in the area. Something was happening, and he didn't know what, but he needed to find out, a shot was heard and a pupil screamed with terror, Michael glanced as the pupil ran away from the gate in tears, "We need to leave, like, now."

OOC: No thank you I only give nicknames to my starter

BIC: "I got my second pokémon ya!" Rehoma shouted in joy after the the pokéball wiggled the third time. Jet in tierdness let out a grunt of relief.

"You did great out there jet I couldn't be more proud of my best friend. Now get some rest I saw a pokémonm center and both of you need to see a nurse" Rehoma said to his worn out totodile.

"Toto, toto," Totodile said as he breathed.

When they got back to the city he went straight to the nearest pokémon center which was right next to Hiriato's shop. His new meoweth and his beloved jet came out to meet their nurse.

"Whet happened to these two they look like they ran through a bob wire fence repetidly," the nurse asked in a suprised voice.

"Well, the meoweth I just caught, but he was like that when we found him. My totodile got beat-up by the meoweth." Rehoma answered.

"Oh well it looks like those are burn marks, but I don`t know about the cuts on his stomach" The nurse eclaimed.

"Um, how do I put this.... Oh they were from jet," Rehoma said as jet lifted his head in pride.

"Well then we need to get these pokémon better soon then," the nurse said with laughter in her voice from jet.

"Ok, I will be back in a little bit to pick them up here is my cell pohone number if you have any problems." Rehoma told her while have gave her a peice of paper with numbers on it.

"Thank you I will call when they are ready." The nurse said as she took the two pokémon to the back.

Rehoma then went over to the mart next door to talk to his friend. After he got there and they started talking about different pokémon he recieved a phone call from the nurse saying t come over there its life or death when she was cut off by a gun shot and a grunt of death. Then a mysterious person got on the phone that told him to come over there and that if you don't your pokémon would be killed like the nurse. After the mysterious man hung up on him Hiriato saw fear in the now widened eyes of his new friend.

"Whats the matter, Rehoma, is everything ok?" Hiriato aked him.

"Call the police and give me a gun. I'm going to make this dudes life hell if he don't hand over my pokémon." Rehoma said still losing his temper.

"Ok, but what is the matter." Hiriato still confused giveng him a loaded pistol from behind his counter.

"No time for questions. Just tell the police to cove the center next door." Rehoma answered checking out the loaded gun.

After hiriato got off the phone with the police they both went over there with a gun in their hand. They got to the back where the guy was and noticed three things. First, was the nurses body. Second, The man was the same person that took his mothers life. Third, He had pokémon of his own holding the injured ones hostage.

"Let them go me and you two on two battle right now. Unless you would lke to be shot instead." Rehoma smirked.

"Or you die and we all go through the same fate as the nurse." The man retorked.

As Rehoma was about to speak the man quickly pulled his gun and shot Rehoma in the leg. As Hiriato helped Rehoma up he was shot also, but didn't get as lucky as Rehoma. As the man pulled up and aimed the gunright for Rehoma's head, he was hit from the back. It was jet that got loose from the man's pokémon's grip.

"Good job jet," said Rehoma in a weak tone. He set his friends lifeless body beside the nurses.

"Ok now then how about you get your head out of your ass and fight me fist to fist!" Rehoma now lost control of his body and ran toward the man. Just before he got there he was hit from the side by a pupitar. As Rehoma got up he saw the pupitar and jet showdown to each other.

"Pupitar rock tomb, now!" the man commanded

"Watch out jet when one falls jump ontop of it then rocket yourself at him with claws out front!" Rehoma shouted.

It was a huge hit whiched knocked pupitar on its back. The command was givin to scratch the crap out of him. The pupitar eventually fainted after countless scratches. The man sent out the next pokémon which was a furret. The furret quickly KO'd jet forcing him to retreat to his pokéball.

"Moeweth I need you now," Rehoma called to him

Meoweth dashed from his position against the wall to his masters side. Rehoma told meoweth to do the same thing he did against jet. Meoweth noded his head and then ran to face the opposing furret.

"Furret, quick attack," The murderer said

"Ok meoweth I learned that focusing on the figure you can spot him. So meoweth remember the figure and counter the attack with fury swipes!" Rehoma told his new companion.

Meoweth spotted the furret coming at him from an angle so he turned his paws with unsheathed claws so he hits the little daggers insteadl of them. The furret ran into the claws like planned , but the force was so strong that it hurt meoweth also. The furret was about to unleash a powerful hyperbeam that would KO meoweth any day. The command for attack was once more adressed when meoweth started running in a zig-zag motion to get close enough to use a furry attack that would finish once and for all. The hyperbeam was unleashed headed for Rehoma instead of meoweth. Meoweth got behnd the furret slicing away at his back. Rehoma jumped out of the way just before it hit him. Furret turned around to find five claws slice his jaw. The furret wasn't done for though. The furret started to build fire in his mouth and sood shot it at the meoweth. It sent him flying against the wall slaming his head against it. Meoweth fell to the ground down but not out he slowly got up while the man was making fun of how weak Rehoma's pokémon are. The furret was too, with his back turned to meoweth. Meoweth darted over the the laughing pokémon to grip his head with his claws and slammed his head into the ground. The man ran to furret rolled him over to find he had been KO'd. The police had then arrived to take the man away

"Great job meoweth you deserve a long, hard rest." Rehoma said happy that that was over.

"I knew I should have killed you along with your mother." the man said as he was being drug by two police officers

"Boy, I am sure glad that was over." Rehoma said followed by a sigh of relief.

i'Aisha sighed before walking towards Mount Moltres, she bent her knees and picked up a Fire Stone which was shining in the bright sun light. "Look at this Vulpix." She said kindly, placing the Fire Stone near Vulpix, Vulpix smiled and began to run round merrily, he was excited for the prospect of evolving into another creature, "Go on Vulpix..." i'Aisha said pushing it towards him, "Touch it." Vulpix ran over to the Fire Stone and began to tap it with his paw. A dark red light begin to shine and Vulpix became a ruby silhouette. And the shape began to change, the colour went from ruby to a bright brilliant white and the six tails split into four, Vulpix began to grow more magestic and taller and Michael and i'Aisha watched, dazzled. As the Fire Stone lost all colour it became a transparent crystal, i'Aisha placed it in her bag then watched as the brilliant white colour faded from her Pokémon revealing the mighty Ninetales.

Michael raced in his backpack for his Pokédex and aimed it at the Pokémon, "Ninetales, the Fox Pokémon. Its the evolved form of the Fire Pokémon Vulpix." Michael glanced blankly at his Pokédex before placing it back in his bag, "Oh like that helped." He said grumpily.

i'Aisha grinned and cuddled into her Ninetales, "I guess I can no longer call you Vulpix." She said grinning, Ninetales smiled brightly.
