Tadano_nika: Yes it is offical. It isn't JUST variations, though. It just has some examples. It also has info about the islands. It also has some activities.
simplynaruto: as you heard, it isn't all vatiations. It is called Extreme Pokemon: The guide for the ultimate pokemon fan.
Also, I was wondering if, when this game comes out, I could upload it on to a CD and make a CD of it? Not to sell or anything, just so I could bring it around with me. I'll only download it onto a CD if you permit me.
And also for Pinkan Island, are the pokemon you encounter going to be pink and are there going to be pink pokemon sprites running around?

Could you scan the variantions for me? it would be nice to base some of the variations on official ones.

i feel like it should be an auto-temp ban if they ask a question thats answered in the first post ... i swear, most of the alerts that i get are for 'awesome game, where can i dl it' or 'cool, when will it be out'
 
It's actually immensely frustrating, isn't it? All game developers loathe it. It clogs up a top quality thread with spammy posts that automatically lower the tone. People need to take a crash course in forum using - it's not just the written rules, it's common sense and a basic ability to read that everyone should exercise.

You will KNOW when a playable game is out because there will be a big shiny "DOWNLOAD" link in the first post. If there isn't a nice big shiny "DOWNLOAD" link in the first post, you can safely assume that no playable demo or game is available at the time. Developers will make it clear when and if any playable material will be available, but they are not professionals; they work in their spare time and cannot be expected to have set deadlines, considering that personal commitments can and will intrude at any time.

Also, even worse is "omg niec hak dood" school of posting.

It's not a hack, you're not in the hacking forum!!! That isn't even a lack of common sense - the whole brain must be missing, as it couldn't be clearer.

Rant over. Any planks who want to ask when it's out or to comment on anyone's leet "hacking" skills, take note. If you need to post, check it hasn't been said already - it IS criminal to ask something that's already answered in the first post.

On a more positive note, this project continues to be promising and I hope to see some new material on here very soon. (This is me trying to get back on topic after saying what needed saying)
 
If they didn't read the first post, why would they read any other posts, including yours Fang. They are dumb, and I am being kind. :)

I got an idea on solving those infuriating questions about 'people asking about how to download' and so and so.
Just like you said, put that nice big shiny "DOWNLOAD" link in the first post but when people click on it, it links to a page saying

"GAME UNDER DEVELOPMENT as updated on (the date or month)"

or some message like that. It could help reduce the problem. Hope the Captain tries this idea.:)
 
no, because they would then say 'the download link is broken' or something like that

since there are so many realms, are there going to be more stones found in the wild, like more moon stones so that you can actually evolve everything?
 
Oh, also, are you going to have Espeon and Umbreon evolve with moon and sun stones? And Leafeon with a leaf stone? 'Cause I always thought it would make more sence if Eevee evolved with all stones.

if you are that annoyed with it, please use the newly re-activated reputition system to give negative rep. that's what it is there for. at least it's better then making another useless post saying someone should stop posting questions like that.

Don't get me wrong, It annoyes me too.
but posts telling someone they shouldn't ask such a thing, or as happened in the past actually flaming said poster, are a bit annoying too.

I can now say for certain that: yes, they will be pink.
 
Are there going to be for champions for each region? Like if you defeat the Kanto elite 4 will you be considered champion of that region? Or when you defeat all the champians (Lance,Wallace, those kinds of people) will you get any recognition of being the champion. Also, are the scripts after you become the champion going to be modified to fit the scenario? A.K.A Hey, aren't you the pokemon champion(of ...)? I can't wait to try my skills out against you! And also, are you going to be like transported to the champion of the elite 4 room every time someone wants to challenge you?
 
question? will time in this game be equal to the actual time that it is, or will it be game time? because if its actual time then it would be awesome, game time it would be annoying.
it would also make it more life like
and you could give characters insomnia or sleeping disorders if they stay up alot!! :P

Well, I'm not involved with this project, but as it's so easy to grab the computer's clock from sphere they wouldn't have any problems with having the in game clock being the actual time.

Ya know, it isn't like the sims where you pee in your pants when u dont take a leak or the evil genie that comes out when u get electricuted...of course I would find it weird that your player have status effects. ^^;;

Oh and question about the battle animations...will be like the move animations shown from games, or anime, or produced?
