The train that Nived is on cruises through its tunnel at an incredible speed. Before he knows it, the train enters a purple/pink colored cyber tunnel and eventually, the tube tunnel starts again in space. Nived sees several mini space stations pass him by. Eventually, the train goes within a massive set of gravity nets before stopping on a highway-like walkway. Realizing that he may have ended up in the wrong area. Nived checks the train's location screens. A map of the area known as Cosmic Gadget appears.

"What the heck?! I needed to go to Cosmic Highway, not Cosmic Gadget!"

Nived tries to reprogram the train to take him backwards in order to take the correct path to Cosmic Highway, but there's no response. He finds out that the normal path to Cosmic Hoghway has been cut off. However, Nived notices something on the map screen.

"There's a space train here that leads to the dome I needed to reach to get to Cosmic Highway! I guess taking that path is the only option!"

Nived steps out of the train and onto the walkway. Beyond there, he sees several more walkways sprawling out in many directions, including upside down and sideways. Noticing that the complex assortment of walkways would take days to navigate on foot, if its even possible, Nived pulls out his hoverboard to make the travel faster.

"Well, here goes nothing!"

Nived gets on the hoverboard, which levitates a few inches into the air. He then goes off down the space speedway. Eventually, there is a a 45-degree turn which he manages to make. Further down the road, there is a ramp that boosts him into the air.

Suddenly, Nived passes through a large gate that consists of two vertical metallic and electrical posts with diamond shaped crystals on each end. Within the crystals, arrows are rapidly pointing downward There is a blue energy field emitting between the two posts.

Upon passing through the gate, the gravity suddenly shifts to the right side. Nived falls sideways here and lands on another road that goes directly upward.

"What?! This place must have gravity altering fields!"

Nived goes across the path. Suddenly, there appers to be an orange capsule-shaped object on the path. There are arrows rapidly pointing to the left within the capsule. Before he can react, Nived crashes right into the capsule, which explodes and emits an expansing flash an orange light everywhere. Suddenly, Nived falls to the left side. As all seems lost, there is a series of light rails going sideways to the left. A large train just happens to cruise down the rails and allows Nived to fall right on it.

"Whoa! That was close!"

Suddenly, it seems as the rails start to suddenly move directly upward. There is a larger Gravity Gate that encompases the rails and the train ahead. The train passes through the gate and up the rail lines. (Actually, the train is going another sideways path, but the gravity settings and directions make this area very complicated.)

"Lupin was probably able to fly right through this place, or he managed to avoid it altogether!"

Nived decides to ride the train further down the light track. Eventually, there is a small (sideways) space station ahead. The train goes through the trench on top of the station, but there is a force field barrier that it stops in front of.

"Well, looks like this is where I get off!"

Nived jumps off the front of the train and over the barrier field. He goes on his hoverboard again along the light lines. Eventually, he sees a speed path going to the right below the rails. He jumps off the rails and onto the walkway.

Before he knows it, though, the walkway ends and Nived tries to jump it but starts to fall downward. He falls through another Gravity Gate that changes the gravity to the left and passes by several large arrow signs pointing in the direction of the gravity.

Eventually, there is another Gravity Gate that Nived passes through the sets him upside down. He manages to land on another speedway.

"Wow! What kind of place is this?!"

Nived decides to go down the path more. At one point, a hot stream of flames is shot in front of him. He barely manages to jump off of his hoverboard, which goes through the fire and becomes almost melted by the heat.

"What was that?!"

Nived looks up and sees that the flames were fired from an Artificial Chaos. This time, one that has a fire red liquid body. Faint smoke can be seen coming from the liquid. Nived knows he's in for another fight.

Kitty slipped easily off the raft as it bumped into the shore of Pine's island. She reached forward and attempted to remove one of the crates from the boat but it was packed full and quite heavy. Not wanting to risk dropping it or damaging the raft, she gripped the edges of the flotation device instead and pulled it a little more on shore. This prevented it, at least for the time being, from being swept away by the water. Once that was done, she turned and surveyed the island. Thick jungle blocked their path and there was no telling where Pine was hiding on this island. It would, no doubt, take them quite a long time to locate him. At least they had supplies.

There was a flash of light beside her and her Jolteon appeared. He shook himself as though he had just been swimming then looked up at his trainer and gave her a rather bored look. 'What are we doing here? Why didn't we land on a part of the island that was more convenient for finding a crazy old professor?'

"Because we don't want to be detected, and landing in a convenient location would make us far easier to detect. Still, I think it would have been nice if they had let us use our Pokemon to get to the island. If we could fly things would be a lot easier. What are you doing out of your Pokeball anyway? It's usually Sweet that prefers to annoy me."

'Well, I thought I'd give her a break. Besides, I'm faster so I can scout out the island.'

"Sweet blends in more though, but I guess stone evolution Pokemon aren't that rare in the wild, eh? Plenty of thunder stones lying around all over the place. And Eevee too."

'Oh shut up. You're stuck with me and that's that. Recalling me won't do you any good.'

"I wasn't planning to, Jolt."

'Good.'

Now I'll be discussing Topaz's romp through the Electrochemical Reactor. Be prepared for a little cliffhanger at the end.

T-Minus 21:30:00

Topaz is situated in the front seat of the automated train taking her to the Electrochemical Reactor. The train hovers through the glass speed tunnel as Topaz sees all the buildings in the city pass her by.

"How long does it take for this to reach the plant?!"

Eventually, the train makes an arc turn into a closed cyber tunnel at the edge of the city-size dome. Chances are, Topaz is now heading through one of links between domes.

"(Looking at the electronic map screen on the control panel.) We must be heading towards City Area 2B."

Before she knows it, the train exits the link tunnel and is in another area of the city. She eventually passes by a large building with a large logo at the top that says "HARTACHE CORP". Topaz is starting to get bored on the hyper-fast, but tedious train ride.

"How much longer until the plant?!"

Shortly after Topaz says that, the train nears a massive plant that towers into the sky. Some sort of green static-like liquid is flowing down large tubes on the bottom sides of tha plant. The train tunnel heads inside the plant, where it then levels to the ground in a docking station. The doors flip open and Topaz steps out of the train to view the area.

"You have now arrived at the Electrochemical Energy Facility. Please watch your step as you exit the train." -Train OS Voice

"Finally! Let's go do what we have to do!"

Topaz runs towards a pair of automated sliding doors with a diamond-shape bearing an H on the front. The doors slide open and Topaz enters a hall where an orange liquid is seen flowing though glass tubes in the walls. In the center of the hall is also a 3D holographic map of the plant. The hall where Topaz is currently happens to be glowing red as well as showing a small blip there indicating her.

"So this is the plant layout. Looks like it sprawls several huge levels upward! Let's see where the reactor core is."

Topaz waves a finger into where the reactor core is located. The top center of the map glows red indicating the core, quite a distance from where Topaz entered the plant.

"I guess I have a long way to go. Better get going!"

Topaz exits the hall and enters a larger room where glass-closed off pools of more orange liquid can be seen up against the walls of the room. Suddenly, a green-colored, roughly human-like robot bearing a semi-rectangular body, human size limbs, and a semi-octagonal head with two horizontal eye slits in the front drops down from the ceiling. The robot has a long gun mounted onto its right hand and a shield mounted onto the left. More robots with the same setup drop down as well.

"Uh-oh! Looks like I'm in trouble!"

The robots in the room belong to the Shuttle Gang and are known as Sentries. The first one fires a short laser straight at Topaz's feet.

"(Jumping.) Yikes! Looks like I'm not invited here! Venomoth and Camerupt, I choose you!"

Venomoth and Camerupt come out of their Pokéballs and face the Sentries.

"Venomoth, use Psychic on the lead robot!"

Venomoth's eyes glow s bluish color. a blue spiral envelops the Sentry, destroying it.

"Looks like things are a little easier than I thought! Now, Camerupt, finish off them with Eruption!"

Camerupt's humps blast out a ton of fire and lava into the air and engulf the rest of the Sentries. All of the robots in the room are destroyed by this attack.

"Wow! Things were a little too easy!"

Topaz now runs out of the room through another pair of automatic doors and runs an upward climging corridor. Eventually, where the hall levels, she comes face to face with a 10-foot two legged tank with large cannons on the side. The mech activates and looks down at Topaz.

"Uh, hi?"

Suddenly, the Heavy Walker (the mech) points both its guns at Topaz and fires to large DNA-shaped spiraling steams of high-powered, anti-tank, armor-breaking ammo. Topaz ends up having to react really quickly!

"(Rapidly and yelling.) Metang, come on out and use Reflect!"

In Matrix-slow motion, Topaz gets out her Pokéball containing Metang, who come out of it and creates a Reflect just as soon as the chaingun spirals come within range, blocking them. Motion returns to normal at this point. The ammo being fired at Topaz is enough to destroy a small army.

"Now Venomoth, Psychic while we're safe!"

Venomoth once again sends a Psychic attack at the Heavy Walker, engulfing it in a blue spiral. This attack causes the tank to wobble.

"Good! It's stunned! Now for a Flamethrower!"

Camerupt fires a Flamethrower straight at the Heavy Walker tank, making it stumble back, but suddenly the mech's guns stop firing and turn upside down, revealing two large cluster bomb launchers, wich once again are pointed straight at Topaz and her Pokémon.

"RETREAT!!!"

Without a moment to hesitate, Topaz and her Pokémon run back down the hall as the Heavy Walker fires two cluster bombs straight at her. The bombs then explode, sending out a couple dozen explosions that engulf the entire hall. The explosion come sstraight for Topaz and her Pokémon.

OOC: Sorry about the lack of posting... I was trying to reach this site for the past few weeks and got a "This page cannot be displayed" message, so I thought the site disappeared or something. Then, today I was checking my email and found a message from the Pokecommunity staff, telling me that the forum had a new URL. So THAT's why I wasn't able to find this site for so long...

*Also, I will now introduce more characters from my upcoming Pokemon fanfic. They're originally from another organization called Team Shockwave, but I'll place them in Team Rocket here...

I guess I'll do your thing. So the color codes are:
Lupin
Carmen
Diego

All of a sudden, a jet of water came shooting at Lupin. But fortunately, Lupin was quick enough to dodge it by steering his aircraft so that it flipped over. Because of this abrupt move, Umbra and Pencett dug their claws into the back seat of the Nightcraft and held on, and Toadpike and Feralis fell off and onto the floor below. Lupin flipped over and hung on the Nightcraft's handlebars.
Must have had a Kelsey moment,
<"Where in the world did that Water Gun come from?"> Pencett complained.
<"Looked more like a Hydro Cannon to me,"> Nocturnelle commented.

Everyone's questions were soon answered, for just then a Vaporeon came running, charging straight at Toadpike. The poor little Vileplume flew back towards the door, which opened and let the Pokemon through. Then it started to close.
"Fi-fi!" Umbra would not let Toadpike get lost. He used his Psychic attack on Toadpike, trying to be as gentle on her as possible (she was weak against psychic attacks), bringing her back into the room.

After that, two people emerged from around the corner, riding on a sort of hovering platform. There was a teenage girl, fairly short and black-haired, looking like she would fit well in a rock band. There was a young man, tall and blue-eyed, wearing a blond spiked mohawk and sunglasses. Both wore Team Rocket uniforms.
"To cast despair on every soul!" the girl spoke.
"To turn the world into a black hole!" the man spoke.
"To poach Pokemon and let them cry!"
"Better yet, let them die!"
"Carmen!"
"Diego!"
"Team Rocket, our plan is set!"
"Bow down to our worst triumph yet!"
"Vaporeon!" the Vaporeon concluded.
"Kadabra!" A Kadabra teleported next to the Vaporeon.

"A two-on-one battle. I should have known they would not play fair." Wish Kelsey were here. "Umbra and..."
"Miss," Nocturnelle offered after a pause. Apparently Feralis didn't want to battle.
"...Umbra and Nocturnelle?"
"Fi!" The Espeon nodded and stood ready for battle.

"Same thing as before, Vaporeon."
Vaporeon fired another super-strong Water Gun, at Umbra.
"No problem."
Umbra used another Psychic attack to deflect the Water Gun at the Kadabra. But Kadabra teleported out of the way to dodge it.
"Kadabra, time for you to use Psychic."
The attack was aimed for Nocturnelle.
"Calm Mind!"
Nocturnelle closed her eyes and focused on her aura. She also did this to keep her own aura whole and separate from other forces, like Kadabra trying to project his own aura to take control of Nocturnelle. However, she had quite a hard time keeping the relentless Kadabra attack away...

"Fi!" Umbra then Quick Attacked Kadabra. It scored a hit! But, at the same time, Vaporeon used another Water Gun on Umbra. The Water Gun hit both Umbra and Kadabra. knocking them against a wall. However, for some reason, Umbra seemed to have taken more damage than Kadabra. Anyways, Umbra still had the energy to return to Nocturnelle's side.
"OK Umbra, use Double Team! Nocturnelle, time for a Shadow Ball!"
"Vaporeon, use Ice Beam on that Misdreavus!"

Umbra used Double Team to seem to duplicate himself around Kadabra.
"Use Psychic to isolate that Espeon!"
Nocturnelle, meanwhile, was preparing a Shadow Ball, shifting its target from Vaporeon to Kadabra and back. Who to attack...?

When Vaporeon fired the Ice Beam at Nocturnelle, Nocturnelle blocked it with her Shadow Ball, which turned into a demonic head of shadow energy and seemed to gobble up the beam. Then it turned back into a ball and began to form a blue glow around itself, a chilling glow. Anyways, this she fired at Kadabra.

Kadabra was too musy trying to isolate the Espeon copies that he got hit by the Shadow Ball. And, he not only got damaged, but also frozen. Apparently the Shadow Ball had gathered the Ice Beam's power as well.
"Help him out, Vaporeon."
Vaporeon used her own Quick Attack on Kadabra, shattering the ice.
That Vaporeon is pretty darn strong... "OK Nocturnelle, time for a Psybeam!"
"Use Hyper Beam!"
Hyper Beam?!? I kind of predicted her using Aurora Beam...

The two beams clashed. The Hyper Beam seemed to be stronger at first, but Nocturnelle pushed it back just when it got a foot away from her face.Unfortunately, though, she was not able to push the beam back to Vaporeon; the Vaporeon was just too strong for that. She got as far as halfway there, but then the beam was gradually being pushed back to her...
"Psst, Kadabra, how about a cheat?"
Kadabra started preparing a Psychic attack to use to throw Nocturnelle off guard.
Nocturnelle will be finished if... "Umbra, stop him with your own Psychic attack!"

It was a battle of beams and a battle of psychics. While the beam-o-war was going on between Nocturnelle and Vaporeon, Umbra and Kadabra were trying to overcome each other with their Psychic attacks. And so far, Umbra felt that he would succumb to Kadabra's power any second.
That Kadabra is pretty darn strong... Why don't I have psychic powers like Kelsey and Sabrina do?
Nevertheless, Lupin closed his eyes and focused on Nocturnelle and Umbra at the same time.
Come on, just a little more, we have the power inside... come on, come... on... come...

Lupin kneeled down and clasped his hands to his head--he had concentrated so hard on this that his head hurt. It went away after a while... but all Lupin did after that was look up, at his two battling Pokemon, really hoping they had enough power to overcome these seemingly souped-up-in-some-way Pokemon foes. He got the sneaking suspicion that Carmen and Diego had somehow enhanced their Pokemon to become stronger in a way. No wonder Vaporeon this tough body and powerful jet. No wonder Kadabra's telekinetic powers were amplified. Somehow...

All of a sudden, Lupin heard the simultaneous cries of Vaporeon and Kadabra. Then he noticed that there were no beams or psychic energy fields in sight. But Vaporeon and Kadabra looked like they had been attacked. Apparently Nocturnelle had managed to add more power to her Psybeam, and Umbra to his Psychic attack.
"A finishing touch?" Lupin hinted.

So Umbra used Helping Hand on Nocturnelle, who fired a Psywave at both Vaporeon and Kadabra. The waves came out in mesmerizing blue spirals that seemed to dance in front of everyone's eyes. (It was a popular move for Nocturnelle to use in a contest.) This caused both Vaporeon and Kadabra to faint.

Just then, both Carmen and Diego took out what looked like mini-cannons and shot them at Lupin. But Lupin reacted pretty quickly, taking out Volbeat's Nightmare and activating it just in time. The electric field from it blocked the two energy pulses that were fired at him--in fact, they gave it more power for later use.

Then Toadpike ran up to Carmen and Diego, and used Stun Spore on them.
"Well look what you did!" Lupin laughed as Toadpike ran back to him. Then he looked to Nocturnelle and Umbra.
"...I still don't believe it... where did you find that last bit of power?"
<"Another 'Kelsey Moment'?"> Nocturnelle teased. Lupin laughed.
<"You know, she's probably not kidding..."> Umbra said thoughtfully.
"What do you mean?"
<"I think maybe it was some sort of psychic field you put around us..."> Umbra commented.
"You know I can't use psychic powers..."
<"Actually, everyone can, in a way,"> Nocturnelle added. <"I seem to recall Sabrina saying that... Yes, everyone can--it's just that the ones who are actually called 'psychics' have exceptionally strong talents in his field, like Kelsey and Sabrina. Everyone else's powers are much weaker, but they're still there. And I seem to recall that no one is morally superior to another...">
"Hmmm..."

Lupin contemplated Nocturnelle's idea as the group remounted the Haunter Nightcraft and continued on to the Space Plant.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OOC: Psychic powers are centered around a person's aura, and sending its energies to other things to make things happen. Since everyone has an aura, everyone can do this. Nocturnelle is completely right about this. That's my paranormal lecture of the day :)
*What Nocturnelle said about Sabrina is also true.
"Everyone has psychic power. People just don't realize it."
--Sabrina, from Pokemon FRLG, after you defeat her in battle
I R ish backeth for more! Except, this time I'm going to use a character I like a little more then Ayu. < <;;
But uhh, I'm going out of town for the day, so I may not be able to finish until tomorrow. >.<
Name: Zion Elle
Age: 19
Region: Hoenn
Class: Pokemon Trainer
Destination: Pine's Island
Personality: Zion fully fits the title, "Silent and Wise" as he rarely speaks what's on his mind. He is very quiet and sober, and rarely speaks or smiles. But unlike most silent people, he's not exactly your 'lone wolf', as he certainly doesn't dislike other people. He likes to go with the flow, and ignore the rest of the little perks that might arise from his choices. He is almost like the tall, dark, and handsome type, though he doesn't speak often. Almost. Zion usually takes orders quite literally and he helps whenever anyone asks or needs it. Though he rarely talks, he is very kind and thoughtful of others, in his own silent way. When left alone, he seems like a brooding and irritable person, destroying the thought of him possibly being apart of the 'lone wolf', and his usual straight mouth sort of sags to eccentrate the glare he constantly wears while he is independent. When found in a good mood, Zion is usually quite pleasant, though not smiling and blabbering pleasant, simply even more agreeable then he usually is, and more easily pleased. He's constantly very gentlemen-like, and it seems as though it's impossible for him to lose his temper, or become impatient.
Appearance: Zion has deep crimson red hair, dyed black on the tips, in which he let's hang in his eyes in a stringy pointy mess. His eyes match his hair and their sharp gaze is never wandering. Across his right eye is usually a set of bandages that wrap diagonally around his head to cover his right eye and forehead, due to the scar that crosses across his forehead and across the very edge of his eye, stretching all the way to his ear. Over his torso is a mostly plain black skin-tight turtleneck, with a crimson stripe going from underneath his underarm around his shoulder. This marks the spot in which the sleeves can be easily pulled off, to become a sleevless turtle neck with red trim on where the sleeve's once were. Covering his long lanky legs are a pair of too-long black slacks, that drag slightly on his heels, but pile up on the top of his black cross-lace casual business shoes. Hanging across his ridiculously thin waist is a large heavy crimson red belt with a large black buckle. Sometimes he wears a black cloak-like jacket, that ends just above his belt, with a large white collar.
Zion Elle, minus the annoying extra green text.
History: Zion spent a good amount of his life living as a normal trainer, with nothing particularly special to his name other then the fact that he was the "Calm Trainer" who never seemed to lose his monotonous cool. Though partially impaired when it came to interaction with humans, he was always easily got along with pokemon, but never was the type who could calm a raging Tyranitar with a single pat. Not too special, not too skilled, not too amazing. That was how Zion was. But training and battling was an ease for him, negotiating and talking sense into things just as easily done, the reason he was sent to Pine's Island- "To get that stubborn old man off the stupid spit of land." as Zion likes to say.
Pokémon: Cacturne, Absol, Shuppet, Macargo, Lapras
Now another piece incolving Tsubasa!
T-Minus 21:30:00
Tsubasa rides the high speed train she's on through the city. Countless tall buildings pass her by as the train tunnel starts to go upward towards the skyline.
"Wow! This city is amazing!"
The train continues down the glass tunnel as it nears the edge of the city dome. There, the train heads into a purple/pink tunnel leading out into space. While inside the link tunnel, Tsubasa wonders to herself about this mission.
"I wonder what it's like in Lilycove City right now. Wait! I need to concentrate on the mission!"
Eventually, the glass tunnel starts out again is space. Shortly afterwards, the train enters a small space station where the train hovers back down upon reaching the end of the track. There are several computers, mainframes, and console panels lining both walls of the area. Tsubasa gets out of the train and looks around.
"Looks normal here. Now to reach that meteor place."
Tsubasa goes through the door to reach a launch bay containing several shuttles. However, there are two Sentries in the room as well. Unlike the ones Topaz ran into, these ones are blue and are carrying rocket launchers and larger, reinforced shields. One of them spots Tsubasa and fires a rocket straight at her!
"Oh, Sharpedo!"
Tsubasa rolls to the side shortle before the rocket hits her, dodging the explosion. She gets out a Pokéball and sends out Kappa.
"Kappa, use Mach Punch to stop them!"
Kapps goes straight for one of the Tier 2 Sentries and attempts to slam a Mach Punch right onto it, but the robot blocks the attacks with its shield. The robot retaliates with another rocket. Tsubasa barely escapes getting hit once more.
"Kappa, try a Mind Reader!"
Kappa's eyes glow as it looks at the 1st Sentry. It senses just how the robot is going to react when it tries to attack.
"Good! Now go for a Dynamicpunch!"
Kappa's fist glows a bright red color as it heads straight for the 1st Sentry, who fires another rocket at it. Kappa dodges the blast and lands a punch right on the robot before it can use its shield. The attack destroys the sentry in one hit.
"Yeah! Now to take down the other! Time for battle, Waka!"
Waka comes out of its Pokéball.
"Let's make this quick! Earthquake!"
Waka jumps up and slams the ground as hard as possible, creating a large shaking tremor. Tsubasa and Kappa jump upward to avoid the shock while the Sentry is shaken up severely.
"Now for a Water Gun!"
Waka fires a strea of water at the Sentry, who tries to defend it with its shield, but too late, the water blast hits it, adding onto the damage. The Sentry explodes from too much damage.
"Good! Now to get to where I need to be!"
"Shuttle 2-3, destination Meteor Research Station, preparing to launch." -Station OS Voice
The said shuttle is pulled towards the large exit gate by a conveyor panel where it is then positioned in the center. Tsubasa runs toward the shuttle.
"Please clear shuttle vicinity. Launch in 10, 9, 8..." -Station OS Voice
"Better hurry or else I'm stuck here!"
Tsubasa continues to run towards the launching shuttle, where it starts to rise in the air.
"...7, 6, 5..." -Station OS Voice
Tsubasa jumps and grabs onto the edge of the shuttle doorway, where the door slides open and Tsubasa climbs into the shuttle.
"...4, 3, 2..." -Station OS Voice
Tsubasa climbs into the seat as the shuttle door closes and the shuttle engines start up.
"...1, shuttle ignition activated." -Station OS Voice
The launch bay gate opens vertically as the shuttle rockets fire up and the shuttle goes zooming out of the station. Tsubasa examines all the control panels, screens, and monitors making up the shuttle's dashboard.
"Wow. These shuttles must be fully automated. There's no steering wheel or any other person or even robot here. They must also be on a preset course that activates at regular intervals."
The shuttle cruises through an area of space linked to Star City. There is a stabilizer net wrapped around the entire city that provides oxygen and gravity for the city's outer space areas. Outside, going behind the earth, is a vertical stream of rainbow colors far out in the distance of space. Tsubasa just happens to be looking at a beautiful cosmic aurora, a rare sight to see.
"That must be an aurora in space. Guys, you should come out and see this!"
Kappa, Waka, Masqin, Funary, and Maw all come out of their Pokéballs and look at the cosmic aurora in the distance. They all gasp in awe at the sight.
"Shuttle approaching Meteor Research Station. Please prepare to dock." -Shuttle OS Voice
"Looks like we're almost there. Guys, return! I'll bring you out when I need you!"
The shuttle starts to slow down as it nears its destination, the area referred to as Space Shuffle.
I'm also setting the stage for a conflict involving our Trainers at Pine's Island. I hope those characters will help pick up where I leave off here.
T-Minus 21:40:00
Ayu Locke looks around the beach, hoping that she nothing activated or no one gets blown up. However, Kiro steps foward on the beach. Suddenly, from within a patch of sand, an automated gattling gun bursts forth and faces the kids. More guns emerge from the sand as well.
I hope these guns don't fire on kids! -Ali
Too late, the guns start to fire.
"I have suspected feelings that the Space Plant will be either heavily guarded with Chaoses from now on, or that Team Rocket will have taken control of the place already. Or... both."
Lupin said this to his Pokemon that were currently out, which happened to be all of his Pokemon at this point. It was the usual arrangement: Toadpike sat atop Lupin's head, Pencett sat in between Umbra and Feralis in the back seat of the Nightcraft, and Nocturnelle followed behind.
"Umbra!" Lupin said to the Espeon sitting behind him. "Do you see anything in the Space Plant?"
<"I have to see..."> Umbra said as he closed his eyes and focused on the Space Plant ahead.
Sometimes, Umbra was able to see through things, things far away... through this psychic ability sometimes called "astral projection" or "remote viewing", but what Lupin called "deep vision". It was a fact that content, high-level Espeon could use this ability. But Umbra was only around level 35, and Lupin was still a little disappointed of his mis-evolution to Espeon instead of Umbreon, so the situation here was much more uncertain.
<"I see nothing..."> Umbra commented.
"I don't blame..." Lupin reassured as he glanced back at Umbra.
<"I see something!"> Toadpike warned. <"It looks like... someone's being attacked by a Fire Chaos!">
"What?!?" Lupin immediately turned the Nightcraft around until he was somewhere behind the Fire Chaos. As he did so, Toadpike sprayed it with Stun Spore. However, the spores had no effect--the Chaos just singed all the spores with its fiery, amorphous form. Fortunately, the Chaos didn't feel it, so it just continued doing what it was before.
Lupin and the Chaos were in a darker region of the tunnel, and the only light came from the Fire Chaos' body. Anyways, in this light, Lupin could see a Ninetales lying on the ground, apparently badly burnt. Nevertheless, Lupin recognized this Ninetales.
Kelsey's Ninetales again! Lupin realized. But now she's in trouble!
Lupin remembered when he and the other POCE members fought the Ice Chaos before. This Ninetales really helped save the day then. But apparently, this Fire Chaos was too much for her, even if she did have Kelsey's mental support.
"Okay, who wants to battle this time?" Lupin asked his Pokemon as he landed the Nightcraft and climbed out of it.
"Ruff!" Feralis jumped into action.
"Vile..." Toadpike jumped off Lupin's head, but Lupin caught her just in time.
"Sorry Toadpike," Lupin apologized to the little Vileplume. "If your Stun Spore didn't affect it, I don't know what will... and I don't want you burned."
"Umbra, do you want to join in too?" Lupin offered.
"Fi." So it was official: Umbra and Feralis versus Fire Chaos.
The Fire Chaos fired what looked like a bunch of shiny red pellets at the two Pokemon. These were obviously cells, like the ones the Ice Chaos had fired, but obviously these had a different effect.
Doesn't look like this will be any good, Lupin thought as he put Volbeat's Nightmare back into his pocket. Flame will only melt its delicate wire.
"Okay Feralis, let's try a Take Down! Make it quick!"
The Mightyena knelt down then sprang into a run, dodging a few of the cells. Then he jumped right through the Chaos. He was burned in the process, but that stopped as he ran as fast as he could back to Lupin.
<"Oww that's hot!"> Feralis cried.
"Blimey, that thing isn't even solid," Lupin muttered as he watched Feralis jump right through the Chaos. "It's like it's made of pure flame!"
So I guess that means charging at it doesn't do anything... Eh, fortunately there exists another force to contend with.
"Okay Umbra, try a Psychic attack!"
"Fi... Fi? Fi..." Umbra tried, but for some reason he just couldn't manage to harness enough psychic energy to pull off the attack. In fact, he wasn't able to harness any psychic energy.
"What's going on?" Lupin wondered. "Don't tell me your psychic powers aren't working! Hey, look out!"
For a few of the Chaos cells were about to hit Umbra. Umbra jumped back to dodge them, but the cells bounced off the ground and went for him again. Umbra tried another Psychic attack, but it still didn't work.
"Okay then, try using Psybeam."
Umbra tried, but the gem on his head didn't even glow.
"Faint Attack?"
At least that worked. But as Umbra ran at the Chaos, a field of dark energy forming around him, the Chaos morphed into a ring of flame which Umbra jumped right through.
"At least you didn't get burned like Feralis did..." Lupin groaned.
At that point, the Chaos sprayed three jets of flame from the ring it had morphed into. One hit Umbra, another hit Feralis, and the third hit Pencett.
"What's with that?!?" Lupin exclaimed. "Pencett wasn't in the battle! I guess these Chaoses don't play fair!"
But I suppose that means that I shouldn't play fair either... Hee hee.
Meanwhile, the now burned Pencett was talking to Ninetales.
<"That Chaos must be pretty powerful, it it burned you like that,"> Pencett commented, her voice shaking from the pain of the burns.
<"Yes, maybe its body has some sort of property that allows it to even burn a fire-type Pokemon like me,"> Ninetales agreed.
<"Are you feeling all right?">
<"I've never had a burn before, and now I have several...">
<"What does Kelsey think about this?">
<"Kelsey?"> Ninetales paused for a moment. <"...For some reason, I don't think she hears me...">
<"That's funny. Don't you have a telepathic bond with her?">
<"I don't know... Unless Kelsey died or something, I have no clue why this is.">
"Unless..." Lupin said to Pencett and Ninetales, "Wait... yes, it makes perfect sense! Maybe there's some sort of electric field in this room that disables psychic powers! That explains why you can't connect to Kelsey, and why Umbra can't use his psychic attacks!"
<"Or,"> Ninetales added, <"there's something about this Chaos that does that...">
"Speaking of Chaoses, I have another idea..."
While Feralis and Umbra continued fighting the Chaos, Pencett continued comforting Ninetales, Toadpike checked their surroundings, and Lupin was in a whispered discussion with Nocturnelle.
"OK Nocturnelle. Got it?" Lupin concluded.
"Miss." Nocturnelle nodded and made herself a little more invisible.
A while later, Umbra and Feralis were exhausted from the battle, and more badly burnt than Ninetales. A minute more and they thought they would die of heat exhaustion or something. There were even moments when Ninetales put in an attack or two, but after a while she fainted. Even Pencett tried using Pay Day on it, but the coins she fired melted upon touching the chaos. Toadpike tried using Petal Dance, but the chaos singed all the petals and then burned the poor Vileplume to a crisp. Toadpike was a pile of ash...
"No, Toadpike..." Lupin noticed as he looked at Toadpike, who was a pile of burnt plant parts. But he also noticed a seed...
Come on Nocturnelle, hurry up before any more of us gets hurt...
All of a sudden, a huge wave of water washed over the chaos. After it hit the chaos, the room went completely dark. However, Lupin and his Pokemon noticed a bunch of steam that filled the room. Also, there was a silhouette in the light from the previous room. It was the silhouette of a Vaporeon--the same Vaporeon Lupin's Pokemon had defeated in battle a while ago!
"Miss!" Misdreavus hit the Vaporeon with a Shadow Ball, knocking her out like before.
"You did it!" Lupin congratulated. "You put the Shuttle Gang's Vaporeon under mind control!"
<"Yes,"> Nocturnelle commented, <"but the trick was to do it outside of this dark room, where the anti-psychic force field was no longer active.">
After that, Lupin and most of his Pokemon continued on the Nightcraft. However, Umbra had to carry Ninetales separately with his telekinetic powers, as there wasn't room for any extra weight on the Nightcraft. Still, all went well; the remaining path to the Space Plant was pretty direct, but kind of challenging to fly through. There came one point where Ninetales had to sit in the Nightcraft, and Pencett had to get the others back into their Pokeballs (Lupin couldn't do it because he had to focus on flying the Nightcraft). Meanwhile, the Nightcraft glided on with ease, and after two intense battles, Lupin felt like he was able to keep a clear mind, and he was able to think and react faster to changing circumstances. Lupin pulled the Nightcraft out of many dangerous turns or changes in field--one of which was a trip through a glowing pink tunnel that greatly accelerated the Nightcraft forward, followed by a gravity gate and a 90-degree upward turn paralleling a set of train tracks. There were many times when the Nightcraft was within an inch of crashing into something, but no crashes ever happened.
Another gravity change. A narrowly missed collision with a train. Dodging attacks by robots that occasionally stood by the path. Lupin even passed by a few wrecked aircrafts--apparently a few previous POCE soldiers had tried to get through this path. Indeed, many of them would have either gotten creamed by Carmen and Diego's souped-up Pokemon, singed by the Fire Chaos, or banged up in a collision somewhere along this twisting path. Still Lupin held on, and Pencett and Ninetales held on tightly to the back seat.
After going down a dark tunnel, Lupin came to a set of arrows pointing to the right, and the apparent end of the tunnel. But fortunately, he was quick enough to notice this, and fortunately the Nightcraft had a good turning radius. It turned out that the arrows led to making a U-turn through a small tunnel at a pretty high speed! The Nightcraft had to flip over sideways several times, but just barely came out of the turn.
As Lupin sighed with much relief, he slowed the Nightcraft down, for he saw a light at the end of the tunnel. And when he turned left towards the source of the light, he found himself in a giant, windowless, circular room filled with either computers or random building or machine parts. Various buttons dotted the walls, and in the middle was a sign that read "Space Plant".
"We're actually here!" Lupin declared as he dismounted the Nightcraft. Then he helped the weakened Ninetales out of the back seat, and let his other Pokemon out of their Pokeballs again.
"Fi!" "Rawwr." "Miss!"
Umbra and Feralis were still pretty badly burned like Ninetales, but Nocturnelle was fine. But as for Toadpike, she was still the same pile of ash...
"Toadpike..." Lupin stared at the pile of ash that was once Toadpike. Now all that remained of her was a seed buried in the ash. The seed, miraculously, seemed unharmed.
Maybe she's not gone forever... Lupin said to himself. Maybe she's like a phoenix, able to rise from the ashes again.
With that, Lupin piled Toadpike's ashes into a nearby cup and pocketed the seed. But he still felt bad--one of his own Pokemon had just been destroyed. Cute little Toadpike... innocent and rash, but a whole lot of fun... And boy was her Stun Spore awesome, not to mention handy.
After burying the seed in the ash and sprinkling it with a little water from a nearby sink, Lupin walked back amongst a row of computers. One of the computers was turned on, so Lupin checked it out.
Now all I have to figure out is how this thing works.
Kelsey? Ninetales called. Kelsey... Are you there? I thought the psychic barrier was gone...
<"What's wrong?"> Umbra said to Ninetales.
<"I still can't connect to Kelsey. Do you think the barrier's still here?">
Umbra lifted a nearby propeller telekinetically.
<"I can use my own powers now..."> Umbra mentioned. <"I don't know what happened.">
At this Ninetales really started to become worried.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OOC: Whoo, that was the longest post I ever made in a long time... I guess I got carried away...

**Ninetales will be sticking with Lupin for a while now, since Lupin lost Toadpike and she can't connect to Kelsey anyway.
**OK, now I'm officially stuck. Is Lupin supposed to specifically do something once he gets to the Space Plant or us he just supposed to... get there? This was all I could tell from the post where the soldiers were told what to do.

Ninetales, your purpose for reaching the Space Plant is because the control complex for Star City's outer defense systems is there. Also, reaching it won't be easy. I might PM you on what could happen. Also, check the area description for what the Space Plant is like. Now I'm going to go and continue with more of Tsubasa's mission.

T-Minus 21:10:00

The shuttle reaches what looks like a massive hollowed-out meteor near the edge of the stabilizer net. The shuttle then touches down on a shuttle pad on top of a large raised platform in the meteor valley. Tsubasa steps out as soon as the shuttle has fully docked and notices the massive array of laser satellites creating a defense grid in the distance. Square barriers can be seen being generated in between the crosssing lasers.

"Well, we're here now. Time to look around."

As she looks around, Tsubasa notices that throughout the valley are more raised platforms, tall, glass-walled drilling towers, massive lunar vehicles, large, metallic boxes with small lights on the sides, and meteors of the same size with flashing machinery pieces in them. The ground also has some areas symmertrically covered with glass floors which light lines zoom across. The walls off the valley are lined with glass wall barriers bearing the Hartache "H" symbol and yellow-black borders on both the top and bottom sides. In the center of the meteor station is a massive, 2-tiered platform where a large, skeletal steel tower lies. Red light waves go up between the large girders of the tower. Both levels of the plateau are lined with sealed doors. There are also floating platforms found throughout the area.

"How am I supposed to reach the Star Maze when it seems this place is a dead end?"

Tsubasa jumps off the platform and onto the ground. Lower gravity levels allow her to land safely. As she looks around, she notices a field of meteors about the size of her near a glowing glass umbrella-like post. Tsubasa steps up the the meteors. Suddenly the meteors activate somehow and start rolling towards her. Tsubasa just ran into a group of Meteor Bombs.

"Oh, great! More trouble! Waka, I need you again!"

Waka comes out of its Pokéball and uses Water Gun on one of the Meteor Bombs. Hoever, the robotic meteor continues to roll foward before stopping. However, the front of the meteor opens up to reveal a panel where a large gun connected to four elastic lines is pulled out. The gun fires small meteors at a rapid automatic machine gun rate. The meteor stream hits Waka and the meteors explode all around it. In a matter of a couple seconds, Waka is defeated.

"Waka! Return! Just what are these?!"

The other meteors' panels open up to reveal more guns, which fire on Tsubasa. Tsubasa runs out of the way of the incoming meteor volley, which explodes all around her. After shooting, the Meteor Bombs close back up and continue to roll towards Tsubasa. Eventually, one starts to glow red as it closes in on Tsubasa, that meteor then explodes, sending metal and meteor sharpnel all over the place and sending Tsubasa flying forward.

"Ow! That almost killed me!"

Before Tsubasa has a chance to get up, some of the Meteor Bombs stop to fire minature meteor bombs at her. She promptly ducks to avoid them, but a few more start to roll forward, glowing red. One stops right at Tsubasa's feet.

"This just isn't my day!"

The Meteor Bombs explode, engulfing Tsubasa in the explosion. Just when it seemed she was dead, there was some sort of glowing barrier surrounding Tsubasa, blocking the explosion and the meteors. Tsubasa gets back up and makes a run for it.

"That looked like a Reflect attack! I wonder who made it?!"

The remainign Meteor Bombs continue to roll towards Tsubasa. She notices one of the large digging vehicles and decides to duck behind it. She wonders if she'll have to run forever from the meteors.

"All right then! Let's give them something to worry about! Kapps, try constant Mach Punches against them!"

Kapps comes out of its Pokéball and jumps up onto the top of the vehicle. It then comes chashing down onto the Meteor Bombs with a Mach Punch attack. It continues to Mach Punch each of them repeatedly, hoping to shut them down. All but one of them start to glow red, indicating they're ready to self-destruct.

"KAPPA, GET OUT OF THERE!!"

Kapps runs around the lunar vehicle, and both it and Tsubasa run forward as the Meteor Bombs explode. The last one, having taken a lot of damage form the others' explosions, glows red and self-destructs as well.

"Whoa! That was close!"

Tsubasa and Kappa decide to go back to looking around some. They walk across one of the glass floors, where far below, some sort of teal colored energy is flowing. Tsubasa looks outward to see several cubes out in the distance in red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, indigo, and violet colors. Before she knows it, several of those cubes are coming straight for her.

"Just what are those things?"

Suddenly, one is floating right next to her. An array of machine guns comes out of the panel and start firing on Tsubasa. Stray ammo even hits Tsubasa's leg.

"OW! What was that?!"

Tsubasa starts to limp away from the Attack Cube as the cube flips sides to a side containing laser cannons. The cube fires these lasers towards Tsubasa.

"I am so not a fan of weapons!"

Kapps decides to try Mach Punching the Attack Cube. The attack hits, knocking the large cube back a slight distance. Kapps rejoins Tsubasa as they attempt to reach the central tower. Along the way, Tsubasa notices one of the larger meteors. She goes to the side facing away from the Attack Cube. On the side of the meteor is what looks like a glowing switch pad. Tsubasa presses it, and an explosive boost sends the meteor straight into the red Attack Cube, impacting it hard and destroying both objects.

"Never thought those would come in handy!"

However, a few more Attak Cubes, in the colors of yellow, teal, and green, start to advance on Tsubasa. She manages to run further towards the tower as the teal cube fires neutron neutralizer charges at Tsubasa. The charges explode on the ground around Tsubasa.

"Better get out of here!"

The green Attack Cube starts firing electricity at Tsubasa, who quickly gets out a Pokéball.

"Funary, I need you to counter that electrical shock!"

Funary comes out of its Pokéball and usea a Thunderbolt attack on the green cube's electrcity, making both attacks collide and causing a small explosion. Tsubasa manages to make it to another mechanical meteor and presses the boost switch, sending the space rock into one of those large boxes, destroying the box and revealing a rocket pad.

"Good timing!"

Tsubasa steps onto the rocket pad's switch and a rocket comes out of the pad and goes straight for the Yellow Attack Cube, destroying it in one blast.

"Now let's get going!"

Tsubasa and her Pokémon run to the central plateau and take a small elevator up to the first tier. There, another meteor can be seen, but there are also a few more Meteor Bombs. The Meteor Bombs come rolling for Tsubasa, while the teal Attack Cube flips upside down and begins to fire missiles at her.

"Kappa, Funary, defend us!"

Kapps Mach Punches one of the Meteor Bombs while Funary fires another Thunderbolt at the teal Cube. Tsubasa goes up to the meteor and presses the switch to boost it into a door with a flashing red minus sign on the front. The door is shattered instantly, and inside is a switch. Tsubasa presses down on the switch and the bottom of the tower opens up.

"Maybe that's out way out of here!"

Just as Tsubass presses the switch, the green Attack Cube starts firing rail guns at her. She barely gets out of the small room before the rail charges hit her. She and her Pokémon now run across the tier to another small elevator that takes them up to the tower. Some more running at the tower's base and an elevator on one of the girders sends them all the way to the top of the steel tower. Tsubasa looks down and sees some sort of platform at the bottom of a large shaft beneath the tower. Teal energy can be seen flowing beneath the platform.

"That must be our way out of here!"

As the two Attack Cubes, followed by an indigo colored cube and a blue colored cube, move upward and towards Tsubasa, she and her Pokémon run across the top girders, dodging machine gun fire, laser blasts, missiles, and electricity as they make it to one more elevator on the inside of the tower. They take the elevator down to the bottom of the tower, where Tsubasa jumps down onto a small platform in the shaft. She then jumps down onto another small platform, and then one more before being close to the large platform near the bottom. She can see that the platform contains a large cannon, similar to heavy ones seen on aircraft carriers. There's some machinery surrounding the cannon.

"Well, here goes nothing!"

Tsubasa dn her Pokémon jump right into the large cannon, which rises upward out of the platform. Inside the cannon, a computer target screen can be seen pointing up towards a large planetoid in the high distance. Suddenly, the cannon fires an object at an incredible velocity. Eungulfed in rocket flames, the object seemd to be a capsule that we can assume Tsubasa and her Pokémon are in. As the fly high above the meteor center, the capsule passes by several floating meteors and more Attack Cubes. Looks like the small planet is Tsubasa's next destination.

OOC: A lot of conversation between Lupin and his Pokemon will be taking place, so I'll just color-code them again...

Lupin
Nocturnelle
Feralis
Umbra
Pencett
Ninetales

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a few more minutes of searching the contents of the computer, Lupin gave up.
Oh, it's pointless. The control complex isn't in here. And this is such a huge place... this is just the first room. It could be anywhere!
Lupin walked over to a wall and found a sign on a door which said "Secondary Entrance Facility" on it.
You're kidding me! This is only an entrance?!? So this isn't the Space Plant itself, it's... somewhere ahead... This place sure is misleading!
Lupin still had a ways ahead of him, but he wasn't going to continue on right away. After all, he and his Pokemon had taken quite a bit of damage so far. Three of his Pokemon were badly burned, as was Ninetales. Toadpike had been completely destroyed and would have to stay here for a while. Nocturnelle and Lupin himself seemed relatively okay, but they were a little tired, not to mention stressed. The journey so far had been awfully nerveracking, and lots of action and suffering were experienced.
Lupin sat down next to his remaining Pokemon. He gently petted Umbra, then Feralis, then Pencett, then Ninetales--being careful around their burns. Unfortunately, Lupin never carried any Burn Heals or Rawst Berries, or anything else that could heal burns. So he had to head back to the sink and gather a few wet towels, trying to check that the water was as cold as possible. Then, he came back to the Pokemon with four cold, wet towels and placed them on some of the Pokemon's burns. It was the best he could do for them...
"I'm sorry, I never thought to gather some medicine... But at least we're someplace where hopefully we're safe..."
Nocturnelle felt bad as well.
<"Drat, I should have kept that Vaporeon under my control longer. If I did, a nice Ice Beam would have come in handy... And if she knew Haze as well, she would have been able to heal all of us!">
"Nya nya nya..." Pencett winced under the initial sting of the wet towel placed on her.
<"What are we going to do then? Ninetales, still no sign from Kelsey?">
<"Nothing. It's like she just disappeared...">
"Again, I'm sorry..."
<"Oh, it wasn't your fault--it was our commander's fault for sending us this way!">
<"That is a good point...">
"But if only we had just ran away from that chaos, you four wouldn't have gotten burned that badly."
<"But if you had run away, the chaos might have killed me or something, it was so powerful.">
<"Hey, arent we already basically at the Space Plant? If so, then we don't have far to go.">
"I have a bad feeling that there will be robots or something patrolling the plant itself, and I bet the plant is huge. I think there are still obstacles ahead..."
<"Hey wait, let me check. I'll slip right through that door over there and see what's on the other side.">
This did seem like a great idea. So Nocturnelle floated over to the door, straight at it...
"Drivvvv..."
Nocturnelle bumped right into the door.
Drat, I think this door is ghost-proof or something...
Then Nocturnelle tried the wall--but met the same fate as with the door. Nocturnelle just wasn't able to float through the walls of this room!
<"Maybe that is an anti-spy mechanism or something... if any of the POCE's Ghost Pokemon want to spy on the Space Plant, they can only get in through the doors like everyone else.">
<"Not only that, I can't turn invisible there. My ability to do that has kind of weakened over time ever since we started this journey.">
Then Nocturnelle fired a Shadow Ball at the wall.
<"But I can still use Ghost attacks... how weird.">
<"A lot of our abilities sure have been hindered lately...">
<"Yeah, this is not going to be easy at all...">
"That it wasn't..."
<"Oh by the way, that was some pretty impressive flying back there, Lupin. If I could tell Kelsey, I bet she'd be proud.">
Lupin couldn't help but blush, especially after Ninetales mentioned Kelsey.
"So what do you think? Can you lot move... at all?"
<"Not... much... oww!">
<"Probably... but I won't be able to walk that well...">
<"I can always levitate myself again...">
<"I really... really... want to...">
It was painful, but Ninetales struggled to get up. Even after she did, the searing sensation of all those burns caused her to wobble quite a bit.
<"I hate to say it, but I don't think we should continue on if some of us are too hurt to even stand up.">
<"Then... oww... what... oww... do we... owwwww... do... OWW!?">
Lupin wrapped Pencett in one of the towels and tried to comfort her as best as possible.
"We don't have enough supplies here to make you feel any better... I hate to say it, but I think we should continue on, as quickly s possible in fact."
<"Are you... owww... serious?!?">
"Not you, darling Pencett. And not you either, Feralis. Ninetales, and of course Nocturnelle... You three seem relatively okay, so would you be up to coming with me as we continue on to the actual Space Plant?"
"Miss miss." Nocturnelle nodded.
"Ninee..." Ninetales said yes without trying to nod.
<"What about... me?">
"Sorry Umbra... but if you have to use your powers to keep yourself moving, I would not recommend it. Who knows, we may encounter more of those psychic barriers."
<"So then what do we get to do?">
"Why don't you stay here, and take care of each other? This is a pretty safe place, so you should be all right. Oh and Umbra, please keep an eye on Toadpike... let's hope she comes back to us..."
So Lupin, Nocturnelle, and the still injured Ninetales set off towards the heavy doors ahead. They had no idea what was beyond the doors--was it the Space Plant, another twisting path, or something worse...? These thoughts all stood in their minds as Lupin got his Nightcraft ready and helped Ninetales into it. Nocturnelle hovered close, and Lupin checked to make sure that Volbeat's Nightmare was readily available inside his jacket pocket. When all things were ready, Lupin started up the Nightcraft and hovered slowly over to the door, prepared for what lay ahead.
"Okay you two, this is it. Go ahead Nocturnelle, open the door."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OOC: There, so Lupin's not at the actual Space Plant, just a sort of huge welcome sign for it. And he has... only two Pokemon... At some point I'd like to know what might happen beyond those doors...

Well, I'm going to continue where I left off Topaz. This is actually just a big battle with the Heavy Walker. Hopefully, over time, we'll be able to take these kinds of things down more easily.

T-Minus 21:10:00

As the explosions clear, Topaz and her Pokémon happen to be safe, sort of. As it turns out, Metang used Reflect at the last second. The barrier dies down soon after, but Metang took too much damage and was unable to battle. Topaz gets up and decides to try to take down the Heavy Walker once and for all.

"Okay now! Try Psychic and Flamethrower together!"

Venomoth launches another Psychic attack at the Heavy Walker, stunning it while Camerupt fires a Flamethrower at the tank. While the Heavy Walker takes on more damage, it starts to launch mini bombs from its underside. The mini bombs spread out towards Topaz and her Pokémon.

"Venomoth, try another Psychic! Get those mini bombs out of the way!"

Venomoth uses another Psychic attack, and the mini bombs are engulfed in blue glows. The mini bombs are sent back towards the Heavy Walker, exploding and doing more damage to it, but the robot still has more in it.

"I guess when Pokémon can't do it alone, time for Plan B!"

Topaz pulls out her laser rifle and points it at the Heavy Walker. She starts firing at it. The mecha tank starts to take on more damage, but flips its cannons over and starts up its mega chainguns again.

"Not this again!"

The guns fire off once more, at a rate and quantity that no Psychic attack could stop. Topaz and her Pokémon duck down to the ground, but the gun spirals start moving down towards them. Topaz tries her laser rifle again, shooting the mech some more, but it doesn't cease fire.

"Maybe we can get a Psychic attack on it again!"

Venomoth sends another Psychic attack at the Heavy Walker, stunning the robot tank once more. Topaz continues to fire more laser shots on the mech, but its heavily armored. The Heavy Walker turns its guns over once more and fires another pair of cluster bombs at Topaz.

"With Metang out of comission, I hope this works! Venomoth, try another Psychic! Maybe we can stop them!"

Venomoth uses another Psychic attack on the custer bombs. The cluster bombs glow red and stop in midair, but still manage to explode. The explosions engulf the entire area, but Topaz and her Pokémon run towards the doors, hoping to dodge the blasts. They head through them and the doors close behind them.

"That is one tough battle robot! How are we supposed to stop it?!"

Back in the large room, Topaz thinke she can use some time to plan ahead, but suddenly, the doors are blasted open and from the explosion, the Heavy Walker steps through the doorway. It turns its guns back over the the heavy chainguns and fires them at Topaz.

"At least we got more room in here! NOW RUN!!"

Topaz runs across the edges of room, dodging the massive gunfire from the Heavy Walker. Topaz thinks she'll just have to syat in motion in order to survive against the tank.

"Venomoth, maybe a Signal Beam could distort it!"

Venomoth this time fires a bright red/yellow/blue-colored beam at the Heavy Walker. The robot gets hit by the beam and starts to wobble some more. In fact, its weapons start to short out a little.

"Yeah! Now we're getting somewhere! Sunflora, Lanturn, Dragonair, come on out ahd help me here!"

Topaz's three Pokémon come out of their Pokéballs, ready for battle.

"Sunflora, start charging up a Solarbeam, Lanturn, use Thunderbolt, Dragonair, use Dragonbreath!"

As Sunflora's petals start to glow, Lanturn launches a Thunderbolt attack at the Heavy Walker, bringing it down even more. However, the tank starts to snap out of its confusion and launches more mini bombs.

"Dragonair, get that Dragonbreath out now!"

Dragonair fires a stream of green/blue energy at each of the mini bombs, destroying each of them one by one before they have a chance to reach Topaz.

"Good going, Dragonair! Hopefully, Sunflora will be ready to use Solarbeam soon!"

The Heavy Walker turns its guns around once more and prepares to fire another round of cluster bombs, enough explosive power to blow up to entire room. At this point, Sunflora's Solarbeam is fully charged.

"All right now! Sunflora, use Solarbeam!"

Sunflora fires a powerful Solarbeam straight at the Heavy Walker. The beam hits the mech hard. In a matter of seconds, the tank glows, then explodes. Finally, the Heavy Walker is defeated.

"Yes! Finally we did it! I can't believe how tough that tank was! You all did a great job! Better rest up before I need you again!"

After returning all her Pokémon to their Pokéballs, Topaz heads back through the doors way back into the inclining corridor. With the Heavy Walker out of the way, Topaz can head through the door to the next area. What waits for her beyond is uknown.

OOC: Gee, I wish it wasn't only two of us posting here... Come on Bijou, Alana, One Winged Angel...
**By the way, thanks for the help, Sunflorazumarill.

**I'll use the same color scheme as last post for the dialogue.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
<"Wait, I want to help too..."> Umbra stammered as he levitated himself into the Nightcraft.
"Okay, I guess if you stay in the Nightcraft you'll be all right."
Lupin didn't even look at Umbra while saying this; he was too focused on the door Nocturnelle was about to open. Anyways, after this, Nocturnelle finally opened the door...
...And she shut the door after Lupin steered the Nightcraft through. Immediately the group was thrust into total darkness.
"Let there be light..." Lupin muttered as he turned on the Nightcraft's headlight. This shone black light on the scene (Lupin thought it just looked cooler than white light), which revealed a long hall scattered with rubble. Obviously this was kind of a storage area for various space station parts. It was a fairly tight space, so Lupin tried to fly fairly slow to avoid damaging the Nightcraft.
My Pokemon and I built this Nightcraft and Volbeat's Nightmare out of parts stolen from Team Rocket. I have great faith in both.
<"Hey Lupin!"> Umbra called. <"I think whoever built this hall forgot to install a psychic barrier like the one from before. I see lots of things in this place... Well, first of all, I feel like we're being watched by some sort of motion detector. Second, there are many robots ahead that look like they have destructive weapons... Third, ohh, how sneaky... I'm sensing faintly visible laser beams in the distance--probably best to avoid those, I don't know what they do. I'm also seeing... our path taking us outside, where there's... no! A Heavy Walker is out there?!?">
"I hope that sensor can't tell what we're saying..."
<"From what I can tell, it only has a motion sensor. And... oh no! Brace yourselves, there's something coming for us! Three things in fact!">
Lupin didn't see anything up ahead, but he decided to trust Umbra's intuition.
Sure enough, three of what looked like mini-UFO's were coming for them. Laser Discs! Immediately, one of them shot a red laser beam at Lupin, but Lupin whipped out Volbeat's Nightmare just in time. The weapon absorbed the laser beam to form a stronger electrical field around it. Lupin then shot the extra energy at another Laser Disc. But the Laser Disc dodged the attack, and the beam kept going, hit a wall, and caused a small explosion. Since the beam happened to hit a Gravity Capsule, it was sent in another direction--which happened to be back at the Nightcraft. Meanwhile, the third Laser Disc fired a ring of sixteen bright green laser beams, also at the Nightcraft.
Lupin smirked at this.
"Hang on, you two."
And with that, Lupin steered the Nightcraft so that it tilted ninety degrees to the left and the bottom faced the incoming laser beams. The seventeen laser beams bounced right off the bottom of the Nightcraft, bent inward, and fused with each other. This formed a giant yellow laser beam that hit one of the Laser Discs.
"Miss... dra!" The laser beam had tipped the Laser Disc over to the side, so all Nocturnelle had to do was fire a Shadow Ball at the middle of the drone to cause it to explode. Apparently the middle was its weak point.
Ninetales jumped out of the Nightcraft to prepare for battle, but she jumped into the wrong place at the wrong time. For at that moment, another Laser Disc fired four blue laser beams in a circle and spun around. It was aiming for Nocturnelle, but fortunately Nocturnelle was able to dodge just before the disc fired.
"Hey Umbra, why not give it a little tilt?"
"Fi!"
Umbra used his Psychic attack to tilt the firing Laser Disc backward, for the third Laser Disc was floating there (and preparing another red laser beam). Before the other disc could fire the red laser beam though, the one under Umbra's Psychic attack kept on spinning and firing, so that the circle of blue light continued rotating. This continued till the laser beams hit the other Laser Disc, right before it fired. But unfortunately, Ninetales happened to be in the laser beams' path as well, so she also got hit.
"Ninetales! What... well, can't think about that now, the battle must... Oh, do the same thing as before, Nocturnelle!"
"Miss."
While the hit laser disc was still tilted backward, Nocturnelle fired another Shadow Ball at its center. Meanwhile, Umbra telekinetically held the other disc steady to prevent its lasers from firing. Sure enough, the disc Nocturnelle hit exploded just like the other one.
<"Two down and one to go!">
"Nocturnelle, why don't you go protect Ninetales--use a machine part as a sheild. Umbra, get ready to use Hyper Beam when you get a clear shot..."
Lupin got the Nightcraft moving again. This time, instead of turning away from the remaining Laser Disc, he turned the top of the Nightcraft to face it, perpared to flip it around if the Laser Disc fired any other lasers.
"Focus on the disc, Umbra. Let me know when it's about to fire..."
Boy is it a good thing the drone can't understand what I'm saying.
"Fi!"
Immediately, Lupin flipped the Nightcraft around. Just as he did, the Laser Disc fired another ring of green laser beams. And just like before, the mirrorlike bottom of the Nightcraft reflected the beams, bent them towards each other, and sent them right back at the Laser Disc. Again, the disc dodged the beam, and the beam hit the wall instead. It burned a hole in it but did nothing else.
"Get ready, Umbra..."
While the Laser Disc was dodging its own reflected beam, Lupin moved the Nightcraft over till he and Umbra were directly underneath the disc.
"Now!"
While the Nightcraft was moving, Umbra had prepared a Hyper Beam, which he now fired at the center of the Laser Disc. The Laser Disc shot upward as a result, hit the ceiling, and exploded like the other two had done.
"All's well that ends well."
Lupin landed the Nightcraft next to Ninetales.
"Are you all right?" Lupin asked, kneeling down next to the newly injured Ninetales. Ninetales was in too much pain from the laser attack and the burns she suffered before to reply.
"You know, the door's not too far behind us. You can go back and accompany Pencett and Feralis instead of hurting yourself even more out here..."
Ninetales didn't say anything...
Then Ninetales suddenly got up.
"Nineee!!"
Then Ninetales ran off into the distance. Before Umbra could stop her, she ran into a Gravity Capsule and was shot upward by a change in gravity. Then she went through a small hole in the ceiling.
"Ninetales! Where... wait, Umbra? Can you see where she's headed?"
Then gem on Umbra's head glowed for a moment.
<"Ninetales is headed... oh no, she's heading right for what looks like a pool of concentrated energy of some sort! Nocturnelle, you better fly over and stop her!">
"Miss!" So Nocturnelle began to follow Ninetales.
<"Oh no, she's about to hit the energy pool! She's not going to make it, she's... ... ...wait a minute... Hey! Nocturnelle! Disregard what I just said! I think Ninetales is being... healed...">
<"Healed? What do you mean?">
"I thought those concentrated energies cause harm... but I guess some of them don't. Apparently, Ninetales found one that has healing properties. Hey wait a minute... let's go there!"
So Lupin and his Pokemon flew over on the Nightcraft, following the upward path Ninetales took. When they came to the broken Gravity Capsule, Lupin flipped the Nightcraft upside-down, just like the gravity was flipped upside-down. The Nightcraft fell upward, and Nocturnelle floated after it. Then Lupin looked up and saw that he was falling towards some sort of glowing silvery fluid...
Just before reaching the fluid, Lupin stopped the Nightcraft from falling, leaving it to just hover there. Then, he helped Umbra jump down into the fluid. Soon after, he jumped in himself, as did Nocturnelle.
The fluid warmed the four occupants like the most wonderful dream. As Lupin floated around, he trembled with the energies surrounding him--but it felt very relaxing and empowering. It was a magical moment that for a moment he felt like he never wanted to leave... like he could experience this tranquility forever...
Ninetales?
A voice spoke, as if from the substance itself.
Ohh, what in the world happened? When I tried last to contact you, I felt as if some strange force entered my mind... Strange, and dangerous. I feel like I woke up from a stroke or something. Please, tell me where you are. I see something... but all it is is a silvery swirl of energy... Please be all right up there. Please...
Now I'm going to continue with Nived now. Things here may be a little of a cliffhanger.
T-Minus 21:10:00
Nived has just come face to face with another Artificial Chaos. This time, though, it's one of the fire variety. The Chaos fires anoither Flamethrower at Nived, who jumps out of the way once more.
"Well, looks like we'll have to defeat this thing again! Swampert, come on out and use Hydro Pump!"
Swampert comes out and fires a large stream of water at the Fire Chaos, hoping to douse it in one hit. The Hydro Pump hits the Fire Chaos and lots of steam emits from it, covering the area. However, the Chaos splits into smaller cells and they go straight for Swampert, giving off flashes of burning light. Swampert stands there, trying to withstand the heat of the flashes.
"Maybe we need to try a Rock Slide!"
Swampert slams down on the ground hard, causing pieces of the space road in the form of rocks to come busrting upward. The rocks hit several of the Fire Chaos cells, destroying them, but several more remain.
"Good going! Now I think we're getting somewhere! Another Rock Slide"
Swampert creates another Rock Slide, but the cells regroup and the Fire Chaos fires a near-molten flame at the rocks, causing them to melt in just seconds. The flames hit Swampert and engulf it in a searing inferno. Before it can attack again, Swampert is down for the count.
"Dang! Swampert, return! Maybe Fire vs Electric will work! Manectric, you're up, try a Thunderbolt!"
Manectric fires a Thunderbolt at the Fire Chaos, but it seemd to be blocked by what looks like an air lens. The Fire Chaos's body must be so hot that it's superheating the air around it. The Chaos sends a burning tentacle straight at Manectric, hitting it and sending flames flying everywhere.
"Oh great! These things must be impervious to Electric attacks!"
Suddenly, without warning the Fire Chaos fires another Flamethrower at Manectric, having history repeat itself as it did with Swampert. The Chaos's splits into cells again as the Flamethrower continues and the cells surround Manectric, giving out heat flashes that overwhelm Manectric, causing it to faint.
"Manectric, return! I guess I'll have to use you, Salamence, try a Hydro Pump of your own!"
Salamence comes out of its Pokéball and fires a Hydro Pump at the Fire Chaos's cells, dissolving them few by few. With the cells out of the way, the Hydro Pump moves in on the Fire Chaos itself and hits the head. In a matter of seconds, the creature is defeated.
"Yes! Good job, Salamence! Now it's time to get going!"
Nived goes back to his hoverboard, which is still smoking from the flames. He lands his feet back on it, not caring about how hot the board is, and speeds off. Further down the walkway, the path takes a diagonal slant upward (or downward in this case).
"Well, at least things could be smooth sailing for now."
Think again, several dozen yards later, the path ends and Nived goes flying off the edge, straight into another Gravity Gate. This time, a fall straght forward lands Nived on another sideways path. Looking forward, he sees that the path leads to a small (sideways) maze.
"Well, this shouldn't be that hard."
Nived cruises into the maze which is lined by high border walls with lines of capsule-like posts, energy running through them, next to the walls. Nived gets out his handheld device to find the way through the maze. A digital map of the maze appears on the screen, pointing out the shortest path out.
"I should be out of here in no time!"
As Nived crusies through the many twists and turns of the maze, he eventually comes face to face with a group of Sentries. All of these happen to be the blue-colored Tier 2's that Tsubasa faced earlier.
"Just what are these things?!"
The Sentires respond by firing several rockets at Nived.
"I had to ask!"
Nived just barely manages to jump out of the way of the rockets, but because of them exploding everywhere, he is thrown back into one of the walls. He manages to get back up, and gets out his handheld device.
"Well, I guess it's time to use you! Let's just hope you get here in time! Switching to auto-pilot!"
After activating whatever he activated, Nived decides to get out his homing rocket launcher to be a match to the Sentries.
"Well, how's about a little equal competition!"
Nived locks on to the main Sentry and fires a rocket straight at it. However, the robot holds out its shield, which deflects the rocket straight into another Sentry, who does the same thing. In fact, all of the Sentries deflect the rocket from their shields and the rocket comes right back at Nived.
"I never thought they could do that!"
Nived jumps out of way of his own rocket just before it explodes. Looks like he'll have to try somethign else. Maybe another rocket.
"Well, maybe I can try something else here!"
Nived fires another rocket, this time, he uses the rocket launcher's small screen and comtrol pad to navigate the rocket himself. He has it swerve by the Sentries, who fire their own rockets st it. Then, he has the rocket comes down right behind one of the Sentries, and detonates the rocket, sendins sveral fo the robots flying as well as destroying them.
"There we go!"
A few more of the Sentries remain, and the fire a large barrage of rockets straight for Nived, who barely has time to react before they hit him.
"Not this again!"
Nived tries to jump out of the way, but one rocket comes so close to him that he tries to kick it out of the way, but the rocket explodes and sends him flying over the wall into another passage of the maze. He manages to get upand notice he may have dodged the Sentries.
"Well, that was lucky."
Suddenly, the sentires manage to make jumps over the wall to where Nived is. Not only that, there's a Heavy Walker in the maze, and it's coming straight for Nived.
"This just isn't my lucky day!"
Just when things seem bleak for Nived, he hears a loud sound, a sound that's familiar to him.
OOC: After two weeks, it's time to finally continue. I guess this will be a duo until further notice...
K... Kelsey? Ninetales was finally able to send a telepathic message to Kelsey. Oh wow, it's finally you! I've been trying to contact you in the past--what happened?
I... don't know,
Kelsey replied. ...Even now I'm feeling awfully weary. Anyways, right now I'm on this island... which my other Pokemon are now exploring. One of them claims to have found a Pokemon professor there... but anyways, I don't know what it was, but... ...
KELSEY!!! What in the world is happening there? What island? Is... are you feeling well at all?
No answer.
Kelsey? Ninetales repeated. Then she frowned.
<"It doesn't look good at all,"> Ninetales said to Lupin, Umbra, and Nocturnelle. <"I just got a signal from Kelsey again, but I think she's far from okay...">
Ninetales continued to tell the rest what Kelsey said--er, telepathically communicated.
<"I wonder whatever could have caused this thing with Kelsey...">
"Yes, it is very mysterious. I don't know if it's something on the island that caused it or... well, shouldn't we get going anyways?"
<"I know I'm ready, but it's such a shame to leave this tranquility... Umbra, Ninetales... are you feeling better now?">
<"Oh, lots better. This kind of energy really does heal.">
<"Physically I'm better, but I can't help but worry about Kelsey...">
So with the slightest bit of regret, Lupin, Umbra, and Ninetales climbed back into the Nightcraft.
"I don't know if I'd recommend staying outside... you know how I fly, and such... Nocturnelle, do you think you mind staying inside your Pokeball for a while? If you float through the glass roof of the Nightcraft by accident, you could easily get lost. And you know how I wouldn't want to lose you, love."
Nocturnelle said nothing as she was returned to her Pokeball.
Lupin flew the Nightcraft back down the tunnel he had just come through, but it felt like up to him. At the "top" of the tunnel was the broken Gravity Capsule.
"Okay, get ready to flip over..."
Sure enough, when Lupin steered away from the capsule, the gravity shifted upside-down. At the same time, Lupin flipped the Nightcraft over till it was rightside-up again.
Okay, I believe we were going this way.
So Lupin continued along on the Nightcraft. Umbra and Ninetales were seated in the back, and Umbra was ready to hold Ninetales and himself down telekinetically should any sharp turns occur. At this point, they were flying down a hall that grew darker and darker with each passing second. There were lots of machine parts on the floor, but the Nightcraft just zipped over them. This trip would have been a long and difficult walk, but flying made things a whole lot easier. It was then that Lupin realized why he was chosen for this mission.
My creations are my utmost pleasure. Putting together that Nightcraft was a lovely idea.
The hall stayed quiet for quite a long time. Even the Nightcraft didn't make much sound, as it ran solely on electricity. And since it was now fully charged due to the energy in the pool they had just came out of, no worries had to he felt about the Nightcraft losing power for quite a while. But enough about the Nightcraft. The hall didn't stay quiet forever. For at that moment, a sort of meteor shot at the Nightcraft from the ceiling. Lupin managed to dodge this by tilting the Nightcraft sharply to the right, so that it was flying sideways. But this caused Ninetales to bump her head on the window--such a sharp jerk.
"Sorry about that..."
<"Heh, you see, this Nightcraft makes sharp turns,"> Umbra explained to Ninetales. <"But if it hits something at this high a speed, it's a goner...">
<"Hasn't Lupin ever heard of a speed limit before?">
<"Yes, but I think he adds at least 30 to every one of them...">
A few seconds later, another meteor shot at them from above. Lupin dodged this one by speeding up to fly ahead of it. Then he sped the Nightcraft up even more, till it couldn't go any faster. Umbra and Ninetales felt like they were stuck to the back of the seat.
<"How fast does this thing go anyways..."> Ninetales commented, her voice trembling slightly.
A few more meteor-missiles were shot at the Nightcraft, but by the time they reached their locked position, the Nightcraft had already moved ahead of the position. In simpler words, Lupin was flying too fast for any of the meteor cannons to be able to shoot accurately.
<"Watch out, there's a turn coming up ahead!"> The gem on Umbra's head was glowing as he said this.
"That's probably the end of this tunnel. Think you can launch your Psychic attack just before we turn?"
Umbra knew what Lupin meant. So he waited in anticipation for what was ahead...
It was a ninety-degree turn to the left, into another gravity tube. Pretty soon, Lupin saw this turn coming up, but at the speed the Nightcraft was going, he could never make the turn...
"Fi... ... ... Fi!!"
As soon as the Nightcraft reached the end of the hall, Lupin turned it so that the bottom of it faced forward and the front was pointing to the left. Still, he was flying pretty fast straight ahead, about to crash... Or at least that would have been the case. All the Nightcraft needed was a little extra braking power--in this case, Umbra's Psychic attack--to be able to slow down enough to make the turn.
The slowing down only lasted briefly. For the gravity tube launched the Nightcraft forward at another high speed. This ended in another gravity tube that turned the Nightcraft to the right, and launched it that direction at another high speed. It was a jerky ride, and Umbra and Ninetales had a hard time holding on to the seat without digging their claws into it.
"Oh, by all means damage the seat cover," Lupin reassured the two Pokemon. "That I can replace--just have to steal another sofa."
The gravity tube took the threesome into a room, where two brightly-coloured creatures lurked about. One was a piercingly bright green in colour, and the other was as yellow as a sunflower. Anyways, also at the far end of the room was a small tunnel.
"Heh, why fight these chaoses when we can outrun them?" Lupin figured as he directed the Nightcraft towards the tunnel. The bright green chaos saw this Nightcraft and fired a beam of sunlight at it, but just as with the laser beams of before, the glassy bottom of the Nightcraft reflected the beam, which hit the other chaos instead.
But when the Nightcraft was not too far away from the tunnel entrance, Lupin saw that the entrance would be too small to fit through without the Nightcraft's wings breaking off. So instead of entering the tunnel, he turned the Nightcraft sharply down, then turned left across the floor and between the two Chaoses. He landed the Nightcraft on the other side of the room, then opened the window and climbed out. Then he took out Volbeat's Nightmare and extended it so that it lit up and became electrically charged. Just as he did, the yellow chaos (a Thunder Chaos) fired a Thunderbolt at him.
Pathetic.
All Lupin had to do was keep his weapon drawn--the electrically charged "blade" absorbed the thunderbolt, and the electrical field around it became stronger.
Meanwhile, Umbra used his telekinetic powers to lift up the Nightcraft and tilt it so that its underside faced outward, and it rested against a machine part that jutted out from the floor. Lupin noticed this and glanced briefly at the Espeon.
"Good thinking, Umbra."
Ninetales jumped clear over Lupin's head and landed in front of him, ready for battle. Lupin released Nocturnelle from her Pokeball as well.
OOC: Yeah, I know I'm crazy for having Lupin and three Pokemon battle two different Chaoses... but that's just me... Anyways, I would continue on, but I should be in bed by now... Nighty night.
OCC: Sorry for the wait, but I was busy with other things. However, to make up for it, I decided to continue four parts of this RP in a single post. Sorry if some things, especially the Pine's Island's segment, seem rushed, but I just wanted to continue this RP and I hope I did a good job at doing so. Well, here are my next parts of this RP.
T-Minus 20:50:00
Nived is about to go fact to face with the Heavy Walker that stands before him. Just as it seems he'll have to handle this mech on his own, the sound of his Heavy Skarmory II can be heard.
"Wait! I think I may have more of an advantage!"
The Heavy Skarmory II comes onto the scene and on the same gravity level as Nived. As the craft touches down in the maze, the Heavy Walker prepares to fire a heavy spiral of chaingun fire. Nived presses a button on the remote device and the Heavy Skarmory II opens up so that Nived can get in. He does so, but just barely before the machine guns fire on the craft, damaging a few of the missile launchers as well as the proton torpedoes and neutron laser.
"Whoa! That's some firepower! It's already knocked some of my weapons offline!"
Nived prepares to fire a stream of homing missiles straight at the Heavy Walker. By doing do, he has done some damage to the tank, but it then fires mini bombs at the Heavy Skarmory II's remaining missile launchers, putting more of them out of comission.
"That's not fair! Maybe I should take out some of its weapons myself! Activating electron pulse generator!"
The lights on the bottom of the Heavy Skarmory II start to glow a blue color, meaning the electron pulse is charging up. As this happens, the Heavy Walker's guns flip over to its cluster bomb launchers, which it then fires straight at Nived.
"Time for evasive manuevers!"
Nived turns the Heavy Skarmory II to the side in order to try to fit in between the cluster bombs, but the bombs split up and hit the sides of the craft, sending it through a loop through the maze.
"Whoa! I've never seen any robot this strong! It's already been able to knock out several of my weapons!"
At this point, the electron pulse is charged up and ready to fire, just as the Heavy Walker hovers over the maze walls towards Nived, ready to fire more cluster bombs.
"Oh, no you don't! Electron pulse, fire!"
The Heavy Skarmory II discharges a large, blue-colored wave of electricity that spreads throughout the maze. The electrons hit the Heavy Walker, causing it to fall from the air onto the ground. The wave also hits the group of sentries and destroys several of them.
"Good thing I had that on hand! Now to finish them off!"
Nived fires more missiles at the Heavy Walker, eventually damaging it to a point where it just explodes. The remaining Sentries come right over the walls, but are met with more missiles. By the time the smoke clears, all threats towards Nived have been eliminated.
"Finally! Now to make it through this place! Piece of cake with the Heavy Skarmory II!"
Just as Nived thinks it's going to be smooth sailing, sparks come out of a part of the craft, which comes down to near the ground and just hovers there. Nived checks to see what just happened.
"Dang! Looks like all that damage my baby took really did a number on the aviation power cell! At least this can still serve as offense and speed!"
Nived has no choice but to go though the maze as if he was on foot. However, he has uploaded the map on the maze into the Heavy Skarmory II so that he can make the trip a lot easier. At some points in the maze, Nived runs into some more Tier 2 Sentries, but the Heavy Skarmory II's missiles do them in quickly.
"Piece of cake!"
However, as Nived nears the end of the maze, a bright beam of solar Energy is fired right at the Heavy Skarmory II, making it wobble a little. Nived checks the craft's status to see that everything's all right.
"Good! The electron pulse hasn't been damaged!"
Nived cheks to see just what fires that Solarbeam, and it turns out to be another Artificial Chaos, this time, one with a bright green color. Looks like things are going to a little tough again.
"I may need the electron pulse for this again!"
Nived starts to charge up the craft's electron pulse once more to use against the Solar Chaos, who fires another wide Solarbeam at Nived, striking another one of the missile launchers.
"Now I only have one working missile launcher left! Better make it count!"
Nived fires a small amount of missiles towards the Solar Chaos. About two strike the head, doing some damage, but the rest bounce off the solar liquid body. The Chaos splits into smaller cells which come straight at the Heavy Skarmory II.
"Not these things again! I better take out the head since that's where the cells are coming from!"
Nivef fires another barrage of missiles at the Solar Chaos's cells, taking a few of them down, but none reach the head, which fires another Solarbeam at Nived, sending the craft flying a little backward. The cells start to surround the Heavy Skarmory II and give off bright solar flashes that damage the craft even more. The last missile launcher is taken down by these attacks.
"That was the last one! Now all I have left is the electron pulse!"
As the Heavy Skarmory II takes on more damage, the electron pulse finishes up charging and is fires on the area. The electron waves cause the Solar Chaos's cells to fizzle out and explode as well as hit the head and destroy that as well.
"Finally! At least I won this bout!"
With the Solar Chaos out of the way, Nived exits the maze and continues down another space pathway. As he reaches a turn in the path, he looks out into space and sees an assortment of rainbow colors in a large strip.
"Wow! A cosmic aurora! Nice to see one of those while I'm up here!"
As Nived is watching the cosmic aurora, he doesn't realize the Heavy Skarmory II reaches the end of the road and falls sideways next to a line of large arrow sings pointing in the direction Nived is falling. Nived ends up going through another Gravity Gate and falls some more in another direction.
Topaz heads through the automatic sliding doors into a large area of the plant. She happens to be on a walkway where she can see many electrochemical generators far below. Looking upward, she can see this area doesn't have a roof and can see the top of the city-holding dome countless thousands of feet above. On the far wall in large numbers it reads "01", indicating she must be on the first tier of levels.
"Looks like this is going to take a while."
Topaz goes across the walkway to a floating platform will small glass wall rails and a computer screen at the front with green arrows pointing up, down, left, and right. She presses up on the control screen and the platform moves upward.
"Hey! This actually may be easy!"
As Topaz takes the platform upward, she passes by lots of highly advanced machinery, including dual cranes with superconductive wires that connected to electromagnets that are actually holding large machines barely below the magnets and large floating cargo platforms that are moving large amounts of machinery and objects upward through the plant. There are even electrochemical storage tanks sticking out of the walls.
"Wow! This is an amazing place!"
As Topaz makes her way up the area, a group of green jetplane-shaped robots come straight for her. These robots happen to be called Jets. The start firing machine guns straight at Topaz.
"Not more of these!"
Topaz ducks down to avoid the fire, but it hits the platform's video screen, which goes to a flashing screen with red-and-black borders and in the middle of the screen in large red letters "PLATFORM MALFUNCTION". The platform happens to be just near a loading platform where Topaz and step off.
"Well, looks like it's time to fight some more! Dragonair, I choose you!"
Dragonair comes out of its Pokéball and faces the Jets.
"Dragonair, use Thunderbolt!"
Dragonair fires a Thunderbolt at a few of the Jets, damaging them and destroying one. The rest come down for more.
"Good! Now another one!"
Dragonair fires another Thunderbolt at the Jets, taking a few more of them down.
"Almost there! Just a few more!"
As Topaz takes out the Tier 3 Jets, another group, a Tier 2 group of blue-colored Jets comes onto the scene.
"Well, if the others were this easy, I shouldn't have any problem with these! Another Thunderbolt!"
Dragonair fires another Thunderbolt at the Tier 2 Jets, but they each kick up a cubic-octagonal-shaped electrical shield that deflects the attack back near Topaz, who shrieks at the hits.
"Yikes! Maybe not! Maybe a Water Pulse will work!"
Dragonair fires a stream of blue ultrasonic waves at the Jets. The waves turn into large water gushes that drench the group of Jets. The remainign green ones are taken down, but the blue ones still remain.
"Maybe a combination attack will work! Dragonair, try using both Ice Beam and Dragonbreath!"
Dragonair first fires a beam of ice at the Jets, followed by a stream of green-blue flame breath. The two attacks combine and go straight for the Jets. One of the jets gets hit by the attack directly and freezes while the attack spreads out and hits more of the flying robots. About 4 or 5 are frozen solid by the attack and fall downward.
"Good going! Now we just need to finish off the rest! Another Thunderbolt!"
Dragonair fires another Thunderbolt at the remaining two Jets. One is destroyed, but the other kicks up its shield again, blocking the attack. The remaing jet fires a rocket straight at Topaz.
"I guess I was wrong."
Topaz and Dragonair barely slide out of the way of the rocket, which explodes and almost knocks both of them off the platform. In fact, Topaz is hanging from the side, but Dragonair wraps its body around her and picks her back up.
"Thanks, Dragonair! a Water Pulse should take it down!"
Dragonair fires arother round of Water Pulse waves at the Jet, who gets drenches in the eventual water surge. The final Jet explodes and Topaz is ready to continue on her way though the Electrochemical Reactor.
"Finally! Now how do I get to the next level?"
Topaz notices a large cargo platform heading upward. While the platform seems quite crowded and far away, she decides to be a little bit of a daredevil and starts a running jump for the platform. As she makes the jump, she wonders if she'll land on the platform.
"Why did I decide on this?!!"
As Topaz nears the platform, she barely misses it, but Dragonair lands there and manages to reach for her and pull her up onto the platform. Topaz sighs from relief that she made it.
"Thanks again, Dragonair."
Topaz and Dragonair ride the cargo platform to another walkway near a wall that reads "02". Topaz returns Dragonair to its Pokéball and heads down the path towards another set of doors and heads through.
T-Minus 20:50:00
Tsubasa has been fired upward from the Meteor Research Station, heading towards a large planetoid shaped like a Solrock. The capsule then explodes near the planet, but a sphere composed of cubic-trapezoid-shaped balloons drifts down towards the planetiod and is caught in its gravity. Upon reaching the surface, the balloons deflate, revealing another capsule, which opens up to reveal Tsubasa and her Pokémon, safe and sound. They all come out and look at their surroundings, seeing what they may need to do next.
"I wonder where we are now?"
Tsubasa notices that the surface of the place is covered with large green crystals and blue-green-colored pipelines with lighted screens on them and fans sealed behind lighted glass. She looks up and notices a light rail line and a monorail going over the line. Tsubasa decides to explore the planet a little more.
"I wonder what this place is supposed to be anyway."
Tsubasa goes up to a small structure at the top of the planetoid, where she sees a video screen above the doorway that reads "SOLROCK PLANET". She tries to open the door, but it doesn't open, and decides to look around some more.
"Well, we may be stuck here for a while."
Tsubasa looks aound a little more, hoping to find a way off the planetiod since its gravity prevents her from simply jumping or falling off. Eventually, she runs into what looks like an Artificial Chaos, one with an electrical yellow color.
"Another one of these?!"
Before she has a chance to react, the Thunder Chaos fires a stream of electricity at Tsubasa, shocking her and sending her back a few feet. She gets back up and decides to retaliate.
"Masqin, come on out and try a Silver Wind!"
Masqin comes out of its Pokéball and fires a silvery wind at the Thunder Chaos, hitting the head and doing some damage, but the Chaos fires another Thunderbolt at Masqin, nearly hitting him.
"Good going! Now try a Mud Shot attack!"
Masqin flutters back up and fires a blast of mud at the Thunder Chaos, who splits up into smaller cells, and the mud ends up hitting one of the cells instead.
"Cells again?! Masqin, hit the head with a Hydro Pump!"
Masqin fires a large stream of water at the Thunder Chaos, breaking through several of the cells, but the Chaos uses Thunderbolt once more and the two attacks collide. Masqin tries to hold his ground (or air) against the electrical attack, but the water gets pushed back and Masqin gets hit by the Thunderbolt, being K.O.'d instantly.
"No! Masqin, return! Hopefully some rest will do you good! Kappa, maybe you should try a Mach Punch!"
Kappa goes staright for the Thunder Chaos with a glowing fist and slams the plasma liquid lifeform right in the head. However, the Chaos retaliates with its cells, which surrouns Kappa and start discharging electrical flashes all around her. By the time they cease, Kappa is almost down.
"Kappa, not you too! Maybe Maw can hald this thing!"
Maw comes out of its Pokéball, hoping to make a difference in the battle against the Thunder Chaos.
"Maw, try using Crunch on the head!"
Maw jumps straight up with his iron jaws glowing. He manages to clamp down on the Chaos's head, but it then launches a Thunderbolt straight upward, shocking Maw severly.. The close range Thunderbolt K.O.'s it instantly.
"Not another one! Maw, return! Waka, maybe we can do these cells in with a Rock Slide!"
Waka slams down on the ground hard causing pieces of the planetoid in the form of rocks to come busrting upward. The rocks hit several of the Thunder Chaos cells, destroying them. Now Tsubasa decides to focus on the main body once more.
"Good going! Now Kappa, let's finish this with a Mach Punch!"
Kappa uses another Mahc Punch against the Thunder Chaos, this time hitting it so hard the lifeform explodes into a burst of light and electricity. The other cells explode along with it.
"Good going! Next chance I get, I'm getting you guys healed!"
Tsubasa decides to look around some more on the Solrock Planet, maybe to find a way off it. She notices a incline of metallic stairs leading to a floating platform sitting right next to the light rail. Seeing the monorail train, Tsubasa has an idea about what she could do.
"Maybe If I get onto the train, I can take it to some of the other platforms over there."
When the monorail comes by, Tsubasa and her Pokémon jump onto the flat car going behing the main monorail. Halfway around the planet, a small arrival platform comes into view and Tsubasa steps off of it. On a faraway platform, Tsubasa notices what looks like a computerized switch with glass screens on the side depicting vorious characters and symbols.
"Hey! I wonder if that switch is linked to the tower!"
Tsubasa leaps from platform to platform towards the one with the switch. Upon reaching the switch, she jumps onto it and the screens start displaying flashing green equal marks. The doors leading inside the tower structure open up now. However, what looks like a missile is fired straight at the platform, knocking Tsubasa right off it. She gets up after the blow.
"Ow! Just what was that?!"
She looks up, seeing the Meteor Research area far above (or below since Tsubasa is on the other side of the planetoid) and notices four Attack Cubes in the colors of green, teal, blue, and indigo coming straight at her.
"Time to get out of here!"
Tsubasa and her Pokémon race across the surface of the Solrock Planet, dodging the attacks sent out by the large block systems. multiple laser shots sre fired all around the area from the teal Attack Cube. Kappa gets hit by a laser and collapses. Tsubasa goes back to her and picks her up.
"Kappa, I won't leave you or anyone else!"
The green Attack Cube starts firing rail gun charges at the group, hitting some of the crystals in the process, shattering them. The blue Attack Cube flips over to another side and fires several neutralizer charges all over the place. Tsubasa gets hit by one of the charges and is knocked to the ground. She gets up, noticing that the center structure is only a few dozen feet away.
"Come on! We're almost there!"
The indigo attack cube starts firing electrical streams at Tsubasa, who quickly gets up and continues running. As it turns out, her elite training allows her to get out of tough situations quickly. Upon reaching the tower, Tsubasa and her Pokémon quickly get in. The inside of the tower is lined with glass windows that allow you to look outside. Another large cannon surrounded by machinery and computer screens is in the cneter of the tower.
"Let's get aboard quick!"
As the teal Attack Cube flips sides to use multiple machine guns, which it fires on the tower, Tsubasa and her Pokémon get on a small footlift raising them up to the top of the cannon. They jump right in. The computer target screen inside the cannon can be seen pointing up towards another planetoid in the distance, this time one shaped like a Lunatone. The cannon then fires the capsule containing Tsubasa and her Pokémon straight up as the green Attack Cube starts firing missiles at the tower, but misses the capsule. The capsule flies by more meteors on its way to the Lunatone Planet.
T-Minus 21:40:00
Back on the beach on Pine's Island, the automated guns are firing on our group of Trainers that are there.
"Flaar, let's fight fire with fire!"
Flaar comes out of its Pokéball, ready for battle.
"Flaar, use Flamethrower!"
Flaar breathes a powerful Flamethrower at one of the gattling guns, blocking its gunfire and eventually scorching the gun.
"I'll send out Arckee to help out!" - Kiro
Kiro's Arcanine comes out of its Pokéball and joins Ayu's in battle.
"Both of you, double Flamethrower!" -Ayu Locke and Kiro
The two Arcanine create a fiery spiral of flames that they send around the entire beach, burning more of the automated gun system. All the other Trainers decide to join in as well.
"Jolteon, come on out and use Thunderbolt!" -Alalia
Jolteon comes out of its Pokéball and uses a Thunderbolt on another one of the guns, causing it to short out and misfire, reaulting in the gun exploding. There's still many more guns, however.
"We need all of you to help us out!"
"Okay then! MeX, come on out and use Meteor Mash!" -Nova
Nova's Metagross's claw glows a bright color as what looks like a meteor appears on it. It then sends the meteor-like object towards one of the guns, taking it out instantly.
"Flaar, another Flamethrower!"
"You too, Arckee!" -Kiro
The streams of flame continue once more in order to take out more of the gattling guns. However, Flaar gets hit in the leg by a stream of gunfire and falls down to the ground. Ayu runs up to her injured Pokémon.
"Flaar! Are you all right?! I guess I'll have to try Jecht instead!"
Ayu's Feraligatr come sout of its Pokéball, ready for action as well. Flaar, however, decides to stay and fight some more.
"What's that? You'd like to help out some more? Okay, but if you get injured again, I'm giving you a rest!"
"In that case, CJ, let's do this together!" -Nova
Nova's Ferlaigatr comes out as well. It joins Ayu's for battle.
"Let's do a double Hydro Pump now!" -Ayu Locke and Nova
Like with the two Arcanine's Flamethrowers, both Feraligatr's Hydro Pumps combine into a large spiraling stream of water that go through a group of gattline guns, blocking their intense gunfire and destroying them.
"Chuchu, help us out as well!" -Kiro
Kiro's Pikachu comes out of its Pokéball, ready to join up with Alalia's Jolteon for yet another double attack.
"Chuchu..." -Kiro
"Jolteon..." -Alalia
"Double Thunderbolt!" -Kiro and Alalia
Both Chuchu and Jolteon fire Thunderbolt attacks, which merge into one big one and go for more of the automated guns, destroying more of them in the process. Looks like this teamwork is paying off.
"All right! Let's finish this off together, Dart, come on out and use Signal Beam!"
"Mimi, you come out and combine your Silver Wind with Dart's Signal Beam!" -Kiro
Dart fires a red-blue-yellow colored beam wiht Mimi fries a silvery wind that wraps around the beam, creating a "Silver Signal Wind Beam" that actually deflects the gunfire from the automated gattling gun system and delivers a powerful blow to the guns. However, to really succeed, a little more Pokémon power is needed.
"Chikorita, why don't you help out, too?!" -Alalia
Chikorita comes out of its Pokéball and usea a Razor Leaf on one of the guns, doing some damage to it. At this point, everyone decides to use major Pokémon comboes to clear the gun field once and for all.
"Flaar and Arckee, Double Flamethrower!!" -Ayu Locke and Kiro
"Jecht and CJ, Double Hydro Pump!" -Ayu Locke and Nova
"Dart and Mimi, Signal Beam and Silver Wind!" -Ayu Locke and Kiro
"Chuchu and Jolteon, Double Thunderbolt!" -Kiro and Alalia
"MeX, Metaor Mash!" -Nova
"Chikorita, Razor Leaf!" -Alalia
All attack comboes listed above are used and the entire beach is turned into a crossfire of Pokémon attacks and automated gunfire. As more of the gattling guns are taken down, the more successful out Trainers are. Eventually, the smoke clears and all the guns have been taken down. Everyone congatules their Pokémon on a job well done and returns them to their Pokéballs.
"Good job, everyone! We shoed Professor Pine we were better than any machines and weapons!"
"Actually, wee still have to go through the jungle. I just hope I remember what's in here." -Alalia
"Yeah. What if there are more of those guns?" -Kiro
"Then we'll just have to be ready. Now let's get going!"
The group of Trainers head off the beach, which is now littered with lots of broken gun pieces, and into the jungle. The hazards that await them there are unknown for now, but let's say their trip on Pine's Island is just beginning.
Hmmm... is it to late to join? I like the plot line, though I didn't read all the posts you guys made. I hope that won't be a problem, if it is I can just print them out and read them.
Name: Jay Christian Valentine
Age: 19
Region: Orange Islands
Class: Pokemon Trainer
Destination: Star City
Weapon:
N/A
Mech: N/A
Personality:
Jay is a very lofty, up lifting individual. He tries to look on the bright side, or count his blessings as some say. He always try's to keep a smile on, even the in the darkest of times, such as now. He does have a temper, and it can take control if it's provoked to much. Once his temper gets the best of him only his family, friends, and pokemon can calm him down. Other than his temper, he isn't to terribly greedy or ignorant, but like most people he can be greedy at some points. He enjoy's working with little children, seeing as how he raised his little sister. He'll almost always jump to someone's defense, even if it was a homeless man that he had never met.
Appearance: Jay is toned, and well built. He works so he will not come across any obstacles in his journey. He has a pretty dark sun tan, from basking around in the glorious rays on sunshine back home on the Orange Islands. Short, midnight black hair spiked up in the front draws attention to his brilliant sapphire eyes. A few freckles dot his cheecks, but are almost invisible with the tan he has. He is about 5'8" tall, on the short side. But despite his height, he is a naturally imposing figure. Weighing around 135 lbs. , he is about average when in comes to weight. He is usually adorned in his favorite attire, old torn sun bleached blue jeans, normal black tennis shoes, and a red anime T-shirt.
History: Jay comes from a poor background. At a very young age he and his family were forced to separate, his sister Robin and him went to a foster home while his parents traveled to Sinnoh to try and make a life for themselves. 14 years later, he himself traveled to Sinnoh, searching for his parents. He found them, and was shocked to discover that they had indeed hit it big. They wore the highest brand clothing, and died their hair and manicured there nails. They had 3 kids with them, all younger then 8. When he approached him, they either didn't recognize him or not want to, seeing as how they sent him away without the time of day. He watched for the next couple of days, and realized that they were happy with what they had, and he formulated a reason for why they didn't come for him and his sister; he figured that even the sight of their first kids would remind them of their once hard, unlivable life. So he eventually left Sinnoh and headed back to the Orange Islands. On the fairy ride back, he realized he didn't have anything planned to tell his sister, so he told her they were dead. Robin was devestated by this, but she drew comfort in the fact that she still had her brother. From then on he took care of her, and tried to make a life for them. Jay had to put his plans to become the Orange League Champion on hol so he could be at home with Robin. The one year in which he had to wait for Robin to become a trainer seemed to last forever, and after what seemed like ages Robin finally left on her journey. Once Robin became a trainer, and went off on her adventure, he resumed his. He had been at home on Valencia Island at the time of the Space Shield Crisis, and was chosen by Lance himself to go on the mission. He accepted, sort of as a way to protect his sister and his parents.
Pokémon:
Delcatty - Female
Jay originally had a Skitty as his first Pokemon. Skitty and Jay had bonded quickly, and soon Skitty shared his dreams to become Orange Leagure Champion. It was only quite recently that Jay came across a moon stone, washed up on the shores of Valencia Island. After some hestitation, and deep conversation with Skitty they agreed it was time for her to evolve. Skitty is very gentle, and caring. She loves for everyone to be happy and in good health, even though this is quite rare.
Blastoise - Male
Jay caught a Squirtle on his way to Sinnoh to see his parents, but mereley by accedint. He had been swimming on the shores of Sinnoh with Skitty when he caught it, and they grew to love each other very rapidly. Squirtle traveled with Jay to his parents, and was with him when he confronted his parents. This only made the bond stronger. As the years passed Bren evolved into a Wartortle, then into a Blastoise. Now Blastoise is an invaluble member of Jay's fighting force.
Butterfree - Female
Jay caught a Metapod when he was visiting Cinnabar island. It had been caught under a flaming log, but Jay saved it from being burned. Metapod grew to love Jay, and worked hard not to let him down. Soon after the incendent Metapod evolved into Butterfree. But Butterfree hates being enclosed in it's poke'ball, so instead it rides of Jay's shoulder. Butterfree is very quiet, and kind. It is a lot like Delcatty, and they have become great friends.
Miltank - Female
Jay caught his Miltank rather recentley on his travels through Johto. He had lost to Whittney's Miltank, and then caught a Miltank of his own. After some hard training he beet Whitney, and the bond was formed with Miltank. Miltank is very rash, and has no patients what so ever. She constantly tries to rush Jay and the other pokemon, but it usually ends up taking longer then before.
Arcanine - Female
Jay caught a Growlithe early on his Pokemon journey, but a nasty fall made unable to fight for a long time. His Growlithe watched as his friends evolved, and Jay moved up in the ranks of trainers. But as soon as she was able to fight, she did. She worked harder then any other of his pokemon, and very quickly evolved into an Arcanine. Now-a-day's she takes a leaders role among Jay's team, and is often found trying to control the other Pokemon.
Milotic - Male
Jay caught a Feebas merely on accident as well. He had been fishing in Houenn trying to catch a Magikarp, but instead he caught a Feebas. He decided to raise the Feebas, and worked hard with it. It took Jay ages to realize how to evolve it, but once he did it didn't take long for it to evolve. Milotic is very quiet, and shy by nature. But every once in a while he'll speak up with an idea, and when he does it's usually a very good idea.
RP Sample:
The twilight sun cast oblong shadows across the sandy shores of Valencia Island. The foamy tide raced toward a single walking male, Jay, only to be drawn back the to the waves. Jay looked behind him at the long trail of footprints embedded in the sand just as they were washed away by another wave. At this very moment a commotion from the town up ahead caught his attention. He quickened his pace until he arrived at the town.
"What's happening?" he inquired to a young boy racing down one of the streets. The boy stopped, and turned to Jay.
"It's the Space Shield! The Shuttle Gang and Team Rocket have taken over Star City AND the Space Shield! Now they plan to take over Earth!"
Without waiting for a reply the kid raced off. Perplexed, Jay made his way to his apartment building, and into his own apartment. He made himself comfortable on his couch and flipped on his TV. Immediately he was captivated.
"And that is how the Shuttle Gang and Team Rocket took over the Space Shield. At this moment letters are being sent all over the world, to the top notch trainers so they can assist us! We are going to send an elite squad of POCE up to Star City, and we plan to have some trainers go up as well. We now switch to weather…"
Subconsciously Jay switched off the TV. He didn't remember hearing the door ring, or receiving a letter from Lance. All he could remember was a burning desire to be a part of the elite group of trainers, and being accepted.
OOC: Sorry about the insanley short RP sample, I'm pressured for time at the moment. I could come back and add to it later if you'd like? And since I'm not sure I'll be accepted I made my RP sample more of a background, so if I'm not accepted it won't affect the story line at the moment.
OOC: If Kelsey's powers are currently disabled, can she be one of my characters as well? Well, I'll RP her for now, and it will be much easier to include sort of a signup... Which is pretty easy, because I can copy-and-paste some of it from previous RPGs.
Name: Kelsey Murakage
Age: 18
Region: Kanto
Class: Trainer
Destination: Pine's Island
Weapon: N/A
Mech: N/A
Personality: One can say Kelsey is mentally strong but physically and emotionally weak. Though she is very smart, her emotions can fog her mind completely. She tends to be modest and quiet and gets depressed quite easily, and she also has very bad luck thanks to Celia (see history). When someone compliments her or says she can do something, she often doubts it. Yet on the plus side, she has a very strong connection to her Pokemon. And Kelsey isn't really a people person, but she cares very deeply for whatever friends she happens to have.
On another hand, Kelsey is not a fearful person and is not easily overwhelmed. There really isn't much that she fears, except maybe being hurt emotionally or losing her Pokemon and other friends. When times are tough, she's much more likely to endure the pain as much as possible than to run away from it, or even than to try and get rid of it.
Appearance: Kelsey is about 5 feet tall and quite thin. She has straight, shoulder-length, dark red hair and dark brown eyes. She wears a lavender tank top with a long purple sweater over it, and long black pants and black shoes underneath it. Sometimes she wears a black hat as well.
History: For most of her life, Kelsey lived under a curse by her great-grandmother Celia. Nobody in the family was entirely sure why this curse was cast, but her father guessed that it was because he "stole away" Kelsey's mom. Anyways, this curse also caused her dad to lose his job (he was a magician), so her family was basically poor. In fact, many times Kelsey had to live in an orphanage due to that, but there she got teased by the other kids for how she dressed like the Pokemon Kirlia--they called her the "Kirlia Kid". But she really was into Pokemon--in fact that was the one thing that gave her hope under the curse. So she did eventually start a Pokemon journey with a Ralts (surprise surprise). The story of her times as a trainer is long, but to summarize it:
Kelsey's Kirlia was stolen by Team Rocket (Carmen and Diego to be exact--they were in one of my posts), and when she finally got her back years later, the Pokemon was very depressed and in poor condition--it took a while to get her back almost to normal. She traveled around with a boy named David for a while, who turned out to be her cousin. They traveled throughout Kanto, since both of them lived there. (David lived in Pallet Town.) Eventually, David challenged the Indigo League there and won. And while traveling, Kelsey began to realize that she could use telepathy with her Pokemon (she had more than just Kirlia)--it was her Drowzee that helped her realize this. Then Kelsey and David continued their travels in the Sevii Islands. There, with the help of Team Rocket, she was transformed into a Pokemon--a little fairy Pokemon named Psiad. Psiad was Psychic-type and looked sort of cat-like as well, and was the only one of its kind. Anyways, later on, while Kelsey was still Psiad, she entered battle with Celia's Pokemon (Banette) and eventually won, (almost) freeing the curse.
Shortly after the curse was freed, Celia died, but at least she was happy for Kelsey. But anyways, after the curse, Kelsey turned back into a human, and she discovered that she still had telekinesis... or maybe that was something she had all along and never knew about. But she did inherit Celia's Banette as well.
Kelsey and David went their separate ways after that. But, it wasn't too long before Kelsey reached Saffron City and met Sabrina there. They had met once before when they were little kids. Anyways, Sabrina owed Kelsey an apology for being so harsh to her when she was younger, so the two became friends. Also, Sabrina was in the POCE, so she offered Kelsey a spot in that organization as well.
After working with the POCE for a while, Kelsey and Sabrina took a break to continue their travels. Soon enough, they stumbled into a Pokemon gym with a leader named Lupin. Lupin recognized both of them from the moment they walked in--he had tried to be friends with them when he was little too. Kelsey even remembered him vaguely from the orphanage she was in then. Anyways, after Kelsey beat Lupin in a Pokemon battle, Lupin joined her and Sabrina on their journey. He was also interested in being in the POCE.
When the problem with the Shuttle Gang arose, Kelsey and Sabrina helped formulate a plan to stop them. Meanwhile, Lupin was waiting to be sent to Star City. Sabrina was happy with her job, but Kelsey wasn't. She wished she could accompany Lupin on the quest to stop Team Rocket and the Shuttle Gang. She was so upset that in fact she quit the POCE shortly into the planning procedure, but she did leave two of her Pokemon behind to help Lupin out.
But this didn't mean Kelsey was out of the mission. Soon after continuing her travels, Kelsey found herself on a strange island with lots of automated machines. A few people there told her that this was where Professor Pine was hiding, and that he could be of use on the mission. Finally--maybe this was Kelsey's chance to help out, and maybe reunite with Lupin eventually! But, on the downside, there was either something about the remnants of the cure or something about the island that soon prevented Kelsey's powers from working properly. There were occasionally rare instances when she could make out a telepathic connection to her Pokemon, but she had no hopes of anything else... Still, it currently doesn't seem to be stopping Kelsey from continuing on this mission with her remaining Pokemon.
Pokemon:
:t282: Gardevoir
Gardevoir was Kelsey's first Pokemon. Because she was at one time stolen by Team Rocket and tortured while in captivity, she isn't a very happy Pokemon--she still hasn't fully recovered from the shock. Gardevoir is currently in Star City, but is not too much into battling or taking risks. She especially doesn't want to go anywhere near Team Rocket, nor does she trust the Shuttle Gang. She's more of a healer and supporter than anything else, but if she's in danger, she'll push herself beyond her limits out of determination to win...
:t182: Bellossom
Kelsey caught her early on in her journey. Bellossom is a cheery and jolly Pokemon, though she can be a loudmouth. In the past, she often embarrassed Kelsey by telling David (see History) about Kelsey's psychic powers. And even now, Bellossom could brag about anything special about Kelsey, even though she can't really mention psychic powers anymore. But Bellossom only shows off for other people for some reason--she doesn't brag about her own abilities... She's generous to others, probably a little too generous...
:t036: Clefable
Clefable pretty much fits her stereotype--she's shy and dislikes noise and crowds. She's also quite a crybaby--it's very easy to make her cry. But anyways, Clefable's not much of a battler either, but only because she hates competition. If she's battling to save someone, she'll surely do it.
:t038: Ninetales
Ninetales is brave and protective in nature, and she's pretty quick to trust people. This is good, considering she's currently traveling with Lupin in Star City. She's the most active of all of Kelsey's Pokemon, and the most polite. She hardly ever complains, and if she wants something she'll first try to get it herself, then ask someone she knows as nicely as possible. Ninetales will also do her very best to stick up for and protect her friends.
:t097: Hypno
Kelsey received her as an egg from her dad. She's very gullible and innocent, but also quite mischievous. One of her specialties is confounding or confusing people, even Kelsey. She also likes to tell jokes. Anyways, in battle Hypno is the opposite of Bellossom--she likes to show off. She's always finding more creative ways to perform her attacks, etc.
:t354: Banette
Banette has a tendency to be vicious and sadistic. In battle she likes to scare the foe or bring it down painfully, and her favourite attack is Curse. Sometimes she will hurt or torment innocent people or Pokemon for either fun or to steal their energy or their soul. And her way of apologising is attacking them--she treats it just as if it were repaying someone for hurting her. Anyways, Banette used to belong to Celia (see History), but she was passed on to Kelsey after Celia died.
RP Sample: The post below will be it.
Now, the colour codes I will be using from now on:
Kelsey
Bellossom
Clefable
Banette
Hypno
Ninetales
Gardevoir
Lupin
Umbra
Nocturnelle
Feralis
Pencett
^^Yes I know there are a lot of colours... but that's because I treat the Pokemon much more like separate characters, not just creatures to accompany people. Kind of my view of Pokemon in general... you'll see a lot of that when I get around to writing my Pokemon fanfic.
--Pine's Island--
Kelsey was sitting in a clearing in the jungle on the island. She had taken off her hat because it was getting hot there, and because she was rubbing her head due to a headache. She had been having this headache for quite some time, but it wasn't bad enough to prevent her from continuing on this mission. Anyways, her Pokemon were sitting all around her, fairly worn out from avoiding all the automatic guns that fired at them on the way here, and the trap holes they fell into occasionally.
<"Aww, Kelsey, is your head okay?"> Bellossom wandered over to Kelsey and patted her on the head.
"It's worse than usual... and it gets worse when I'm in the sunlight. Oh, I wish this mission didn't have to happen in the daytime..."
Kelsey was not in the best physical condition to be continuing to find Professor Pine. It was sunny and in the middle of the afternoon, and Kelsey's headache was worse than usual. She was beginning to feel hungry as well.
It feels like I'm under Celia's curse all over again... This is really a bad time for my powers to not be working. I've had bad days in the past where I was unable to use them, and it looks like this is one of those days. But it's definitely the worst of those days yet, so I wonder if things will ever be the same after this. I have a bad feeling that it will be a log time--maybe a few days in fact--before this mysterious headache is cured. I can only sincerely hope that somehow the magic of the night will alleviate this pain even slightly.
Kelsey looked up towards the sky.
But what about Lupin? I certainly hope he's okay up there in Star City... All I know is that Ninetales is with him. I wish I knew more--why'd my time of telepathic connection have to be so short? The one time I really need these powers, they leave me. Just my luck. Just my luck...
<"Should we go?"> Clefable suggested. She was sitting against a tree in the opposite side of the clearing.
<"Yeah, let's continue our adventure!">
Bellossom was jumping up and down at this point.
<"You know, Kelsey, I think that this mission is again meant to test you--to test us. Just like the curse, eh?">
"I suppose..."
Kelsey slowly got up. But for a while she felt so dizzy that she had to hold onto a tree to keep her balance.
"Ok then, let's continue on to find Professor Pine. Let's be ready for anything."
Just as she said that, what looked like a robotic Trapinch rose up from the ground and tried to grab Kelsey by the leg. Kelsey moved to pull her leg away from it, but the Trapinch thingy did manage to grab her by the toes, causing her to fall backward. Kelsey had to use her other foot to free herself, and after she did she sat up and shook her head.
"Gotta stay focused if I..."
Two more Trapinch robots made to clamp onto Kelsey's hands, but Kelsey managed to jump to her feet before they could succeed.
"...am to commit to this mission."
--The rest area before the Space Plant--
It was awfully lonely inside the circular room full of broken computers, but at least it was safe. It still held the two Pokemon that were suffering from the burns caused by the Fire Chaos they had been faced with earlier.
<"So how long do you think we'll be here?">
Pencett was still pretty much unable to move without it being very painful.
<"Well, Lupin said there weren't very many obstacles to go... so I'm figuring sort of soon?">
Feralis ached everywhere, and limped every time he walked.
<"Hey wait a minute--what's that?">
Pencett indicated the cup sitting near the sink. Now, a sprout was poking out of it.
<"Toadpike...">
Feralis made his way over to the cup, slowly and painfully but surely. He picked it up in his mouth and carried it back to where Pencett was.
<"She's... sprouting...">
For a long time, Feralis and Pencett stared at the sprout that was once Toadpike, hoping for a miracle...
--Somewhere on the way to the Space Plant--
After sensing a bit of trouble in the Space Plant, Gardevoir decided to check things out. So now, she was heading along the exact same path that Lupin had taken an hour or two before--the path that led from the train station to the Space Plant. She didn't have a Nightcraft to travel in, but she did have psychic powers that allowed her to levitate herself. So she flew along, past a tunnel full or rubble...
Suddenly, Gardevoir was attacked by a Hydro Pump.
What in the world was that?!?
As Gardevoir shook herself dry, she saw two Team Rocket members, and a Vaporeon and a Kadabra. These people were Carmen and Diego, the same Rockets that had battled Lupin before!
"Why look what we have here," Carmen noted, a sinister tone in her voice.
"Going somewhere?" Diego asked rhetorically.
Carmen and Diego both took out weapons that looked similar to pistols, one red and one blue. They winked at each other then turned back to face Gardevoir. Their Pokemon did the same.
Oh my... four on one. How can I get out of this??
--Inside the Space Plant--
While it was four-on-one with Gardevoir, it was two on four with Lupin if the Pokemon counted.
"OK Nocturnelle. Do you think you can take care of that Solar Chaos?"
"Miss?"
Nocturnelle floated closer to Lupin. Soon, the two of them were discussing something. This lasted a few seconds before the two nodded to each other, and Nocturnelle flew off towards the Solar Chaos.
Meanwhile, Ninetales was battling both Chaoses at the same time. She fired a Confuse Ray at the Solar Chaos. The green Chaos shook momentarily but was okay afterward.
Guess these Chaoses don't really get confused...
The Thunder Chaos fired a blast of electricity at Ninetales. Since this blast came at her from all directions, she couldn't really dodge it. But, Umbra was there to back her up. He deflected the attack with his psychic powers, hitting the Solar Chaos with it. After that, Ninetales fired a Fire Blast at the Solar Chaos. And if that wasn't enough, Nocturnelle fired a Shadow Ball at the Chaos from above.
While all three attacks were hitting the Solar Chaos, the Thunder Chaos fired another blast of electricity at all three Pokemon. Nocturnelle saw this and floated upward to dodge it, but Ninetales wasn't so lucky. The attack drained some of Ninetales' energy, made her feel quite tingly, and worse, paralyzed her.
The Solar Chaos fired a beam of light at Lupin at that moment, but Lupin was able to jump aside to dodge it. Instead, the beam reflected off the bottom of the Nightcraft and hit the Thunder Chaos. When it hit, the Thunder Chaos's shape changed for a moment, then reformed back to its amorphous self.
"You make the same mistake twice? That is, unless you were aiming for me."
The Thunder Chaos seemed to be angered at this remark. Therefore, it fired another electric blast--this time at the Nightcraft. But just as quickly as Lupin dodged the Solar Chaos' beam of light, he moved back in front of the Nightcraft and held Volbeat's Nightmare in front of him. As before, the electricity-based weapon absorbed the attack into its own electrical field. By this time, it had absorbed quite a bit of electricity, so Lupin figured it was time to release it. So he waved the weapon at the Solar Chaos as if it was a wand. Fortunately the Solar Chaos was already occupied with Nocturnelle, so it didn't see the bolt of electricity that was headed straight for it. This bolt struck the Chaos at a part of it that was shaped like a sun. When it did, the sun shape turned bright blue and shot white beams outward in all directions. These beams didn't do any damage to what they hit, but they were significant. For just then, the whole form of the Chaos was covered with these strange light beams. Then it shone with a bright white light and shrunk.
"Come on you guys, get over here!"
Lupin hid behind the Nightcraft and beckoned his Pokemon to follow him. Umbra had to telekinetically carry Ninetales to this spot. Nocturnelle followed the flying fox. Soon enough, everyone was hiding behind the Nightcraft--except the two Chaoses.
The Thunder Chaos took advantage of this retreat by firing attacking the Nightcraft. But Umbra saw this coming, even through the Nightcraft.
<"Thunderpunch alert!">
"So that's what it's doing..."
Lupin was peering around the side of the Nightcraft to see what the Thunder Chaos was doing. He saw that it was forming sparks around it, and taking form of a fist. But upon hearing Umbra's warning, he ran out and readied Volbeat's Nightmare, though he was standing further away from the Nightcraft by the time the Chaos fired the Thunderpunch. This time, instead of just holding the weapon there, Lupin actually held it to the side, as if he was in a tennis match and about to backhand an incoming ball. Just as the Thunderpunch was about to hit him, he swung the weapon out to the front.
Lupin had correctly predicted the effect--the force of the Thunderpunch not only was an electric attack (as usual, Volbeat's Nightmare absorbed the electric energy), but it was a physical attack, and the force of it knocked Lupin backward and caused him to land on his back a short distance away. Had he not ran out to get closer to the Chaos, he would have collided with the reflective yet delicate bottom of the Nightcraft. Anyways, after the impact, Lupin got back up and retreated back to his initial position behind the Nightcraft. But this time, he was peering over the Nightcraft slightly, ready to draw out Volbeat's Nightmare if necessary.
But he didn't need to. At that moment, the Solar Chaos emitted a sound similar to a whistle. It began to tremble as well.
"Nine-nine."
Ninetales grabbed Lupin by his coat and pulled him back to the ground. And it's a good thing she did, for at that moment, the Solar Chaos exploded. It wasn't a normal explosion though--it was more like a self-destructive, outward blast of blinding light. This light cut right through the Thunder Chaos, causing it to break apart into a thousand vanishing cells. In simpler terms, it destroyed the other Chaos as well as itself. And the blast was basically composed of light, so it hardly harmed the Nightcraft in its position at all.
When the light vanished, Lupin and the three Pokemon emerged from behind the Nightcraft to see that the Chaoses were gone.
"Well, that's over," Lupin concluded.
"But... we have another problem. The Nightcraft won't fit through that tunnel with its wings extended--in other words I can't fly it through there."
<"Does that mean that we have to just leave it behind?">
Lupin turned to face Umbra and winked at him.
"Unless you're willing to do something about it."
<"Ohh, I know what you mean. Let's see...">
Umbra turned to face the Nightcraft, and used his Psychic attack on it. The Nightcraft glowed with a familiar blue aura and floated up till it was in the tunnel.
<"Aren't you going to lift us up there too?">
<"It looks like the tunnel slopes upward... so I have to hold it in place or else it'll fall right back here and shatter.">
<"Mmm... I would help out with that, but I don't know if I'd be able to hold up something that heavy...">
"Wait a minute, is that a ladder or something on the wall?"
While Umbra held the Nightcraft in place, Lupin and Ninetales headed over to the ladder on the wall and started to climb it. Nocturnelle flew up to where the Nightcraft was, then went a little ahead of it.
<"It's dark up ahead. I can't see anything.">
<"Nocturnelle, do you think you can hold the Nightcraft in place for just a few seconds?">
<"I... think...">
Nocturnelle flew back ward until she was behind the Nightcraft. After she rested her head against the back of the Nightcraft, Umbra let go of it. Nocturnelle started to fly forward, which kept the Nightcraft sort of in place. However, it kept moving slowly backward...
That didn't last long. Umbra climbed up the ladder after Lupin and Ninetales. Once he reached the top, he jumped over and landed inside the Nightcraft. Then he resumed his psychic control of it. Meanwhile, Ninetales and Lupin got into the Nightcraft as well, and Lupin returned Nocturnelle to her Pokeball. The Nightcraft was moving forward, but only because Umbra was controlling it now. Lupin kept his hand far away from the button that extended the Nightcraft's wings...
OOC: Thanks for letting me join. My apologies on waiting to post, I was reading through all the other posts. Since I'm joining in so late, I've decided that Jay's shuttle was delayed, so he's going to arrive late. And, if it's okay with you I've decided Jay is going meet up with Topaz.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jay= Dark Slate Blue

IC:

T-minus 20:25:00

Jay strapped in the last buckle in his seat, and then turned to Butterfree, who was perched on his shoulder.

"Now I FINALLY get to go to Star City!"

A deep rumble emitted deep from within the shuttle, then he felt it start to ascend into the air. His seat started to shake, gently at first but then with such ferocity that he couldn't see straight.

"Man! This is intense!"

As the shuttle entered the outer atmosphere, he could start to make out stars, and other celestial objects.

"Whoa, you see those Butterfree?"

Butterfree nodded, and stared at a shining star in the distance. After a while, the shuttle got out of the atmosphere, and Star City started to come into view!

"Look at that! It's Star City!"

Jay could make out little explosions appearing all over Star City.

"Most be the trainers and POCE already there..."

An attendant walked out from the attendant's station.

"We will now be docking at Star City, please get your Pokemon ready"

Jay nodded slowly. He looked as his Butterfree with a stern look on his sun-tanned face.

"Alright Butterfree, this is our chance. This is our chance to save Robin, and the others. So let's do our best 'kay 'bud?"

Butterfree nodded and drew its wings across Jay's face just as the shuttle docked. Jay unbuckled his seat and made his way off the shuttle. As soon as Jay was in the bay, the shuttle took off leaving Jay and his Pokemon alone.

"Now it's just us..."

He walked up to the door out, and swiped his trainer license. The door opened silently. A wide, shiny hallway lay before him.

"How am I supposed to navigate threw this!?"

Jay began to walk down the hallway. After what seemed like ages a wide room opened up before him. A robot was in the middle, but it was hunched over like it was deactivated.

"Um...hello?"

Jay shuffled over the mecha, and leaned over it.

"Err..."

At once its eyes lit up. It stood up to its full height, a towering 17 feet.

"Oh great, now I've done it!"

The mecha extended one arm, and shot a rope of flames spiraling towards Jay and Butterfree.

"Butterfree!"

Jay dove to the side, Butterfree embraced in his arms. His arms were lightly burned, and Butterfree seemed knocked out from it.

"Butterfree? Oh no..."

Jay glared resentfully at the mecha and returned Butterfree to its Poke Ball.
The mecha raised its arm again, preparing to attack.

"Not again! Okay, Blastoise, go!"

Blastoise came out of its pokeball, and roared a deep hearted roar. The mecha seemed unfazed, and shot out more flames.

"Hydro Pump!"

A jet of water blasted out of Blastoise's cannon, and dissipated the flames with ease. The jet went on, and blasted the mecha head on, sparks began to fly all around it and the mecha started to jerk in a spastic way.

"What?"

The mecha crashed down, obliterated. It was only now that Jay noticed a big "R" on the back of it.

"This must be Team Rocket's mecha! And I was expecting this to be hard."

Jay smirked inwardly, and recalled Blastoise. He noticed the door leading out had "02-B". His heart racing, Jay confidently walked through it, and down the hallway.

Sorry for the wait again, but I have some more for Nived. After this, I'm going to try to keep this RP going and finish it, so please post as mush as you can in here as well. Also, there is a surprise guest in Topaz's section here.

T-Minus 20:35:00

While still making his trip through the Cosmic Gadget area in the Heavy Skarmory II, Nived is taking what he has dubbed a "gravity ride". He is currently falling sideways towards a path going up. He lands on the path and makes his way up it.

"Wow. That was close. I can't believe how badly my Heavy Skarmory II got damaged."

Nived makes his way across the space road some more, taking a left turn and going by another mini-space station, but one right-side-up. Later on the path, Nived reaches another part of the light rails going beneath him on the side. All these different paths and gravity setting make you think what exactly is right-side up here.

"I've always wondered. What is this area used for anyway?"

Before Nived gets his answer, the path ends with a ramp and he goes though another Gravity Gate. This one, however, sets him right-side-up and sets him down another speedway. Further down the path, there's another one of those mini space stations that the road leads right into.

"Hmmm. Wonder what's in here."

The doors on the side on the station slide open long before Nived even reaches it and he heads inside. The inside of the station happens to be a very advanced lab. The left area contains several large rectangular-shaped containment tanks lined with glowing hexagon-tiled glass. The left area contains lines of computers and mainframes with chairs. Nived gets out of the Heavy Skarmory II to check out the area closer.

"Well, maybe I could find out what this place is used for."

He goes up to one of the glass tanks to see what is inside. There are mechanical arms and lasers moving around over what looks like a couple of machine parts.

"So they must build some things here."

Nived looks further down the station to see more things he could find. He comes along a large octagonal-shaped tank with hexagon-tiled glass that goes from the floor to the ceiling. Floating the center of the capsule is a large, glowing hexagon-tiled sphere. Nived sees a computer keypad on the front side of the tank and presses some buttons to make a holographic screen come up which reads:

"GRAVITY STABILIZER A-41
GRAVITY UNIT NEEDED TO REGULATE STAR CITY GRAVITY SYSTEMS
IF UNIT IS DESTROYED, AREA'S ORBITAL GRAVITY WILL DISSIPATE
WHAT GRAVITY FUNCTION WOULD YOU LIKE TO ALTER OR OPERATE?
TURN GRAVITY SPHERE ON/OFF SWITCH GRAVITY LEVELS </^/>"

"Hmm. I need the gravity to make my way through this place, but maybe I could switch the level."

Nived presses a key on the keypad and suddenly the gravity sphere glows brightly. The gravity switches to upside-down as the holographic screen fades. However, Nived just altered the gravity system for the entire Cosmic Gadget area. On the ceiling, there is a path and floor as well as some energy pillars seperated by glass walls, indicating that this place was intended to be used upside down. Further down the area, there is another gravity sphere tank. The computer pad on this one is align with the current gravity system settings.

"Well, I now get what this entire area is for! It's to regulate and stabilize the gravity in all of Star City! Better get going!"

Nived hops back into the Heavy Skarmory II, which is also on the ceiling. He then heads down the path towards another set of double doors leading back out. Back in space, it seems the place has rearranged itself due to switching the entire gravity system for the area. There is a road sloping downward (or should I say upward) that he takes.

"Well, I think we can move forward now."

The road starts to go flat again eventually. But before Nived can move forward some more, an odd mix of a fiery and freezing barrier of flames and ice surrounds him. Notcing he's trapped and that the Heavy Skarmory II can't take him over the frozen inferno, Nived looks up to see both a Fire Chaos and an Ice Chaos.

"Not these things again! I already faced several of you guys!"

Despite what Nived says, the Chaos fire an Ice Beam and Flamethrower at him. He manages to dodge the searing Flamethrower, which leads a hot trail across the path, but the Ice Beam hits the Heavy Skarmory II, freezing it. Looks like Nived's best chance of defeating these bio-experiments was to fight them himself (and with his Pokémon).

"Okay! You want to fight dirty, we'll fight dirty! Salamence, come on out!"

Salamence comes out of its Pokéball, ready for battle.

"How about a buddy to help you! Metagross, you too!"

Metagross comes out of its Pokéball, ready to help out as well.

"Salamence, you can take on both of these guys! Hydro Pump!"

Salamence charges up, then fires a large stream of water at the Fire Chaos, who fires a powerful Flamethrower. The two attacks collide and the entire area becomes covered in steam. It looks like the two attacks are evenly matched. However, the Ice Chaos fires an Ice Beam at Salamence's Hydro Pump, causing the water blast to be pushed back as well as freeze.

"Oh no you don't! Metagross, Shadow Ball!"

Metagross charges up a shadowy sphere, then fires it at the Ice Chaos, disorienting it and stopping the Ice Beam. Salamence's Hydro Pump finally starts to push back the Flamethrower right into the Fire Chaos. The Chaos takes on damage, but then splits into smaller cells. The cells, burning intensely, go down towards Metagross.

"Metagross, use Psychic on as many of those cells as you can!"

Metagross starts to glow a blue color, and a few small blue swirls envelop a couple of the cells, but more come down towards the Steel/Psychic Pokémon and emit intense flashes of flames all around it. When the flames clear, Metagross is down for the count.

"Metagross, return! Salamence, use a Flamethrower on that Ice Chaos!"

Salamence fires a potent Flamethrower at the Ice Chaos, showering it in flames, but that too spilts into smaller cells and go straight for Salamence. Nived decides to intervene some more.

"Houndoom, come on out and use Flamethrower as well!"

Houndoom comes out of its Pokéball, ready for battle, and fires a Flamethrower in all directions, burning several of the Ice Chaos's cells and even a few Fire Chaos cells, but those ones actually absorb the flames.

"Well, we're making progress!"

The Fire and Ice Chaos cells start to surround Salamence and give off both fiery and subzero flashes all around it. Before Salamence can attack again, it's frozen solid while engulfed in flames, something that seems a little impossible to happen.

"Not again! Houndoom, Flamethrower them!"

Houndoom sends out another Flamethrower at the Chaos's cells, melting a few more of the ice ones. At this point, however, the cells merge in an unsual way, and both Chaos combine into one larger Chaos, glowing in both fiery red colors and icy blue colors. Both heads are present on top of the creature.

"I never knew they could do that!"

One of the heads fires a Flamethrower while the other fires an Ice Beam. Both attacks combine into an intense beam of fire and ice. The attack hits the grouns, sending waves of frozen flames all over. A pack of burning ice forms where the attack hit. Houndomm barely manages to dodge the attack.

"This isn't good at all. We're dealing with some major bio-weapons! Swampert, you could help out!"

Swampert comes out of its Pokéball, ready to face the combined liquid lifeform.

"Swampert, try a Hydro Pump attack!"

Swampert fires a large stream of water at the Fire-Ice Chaos, but the two do an "Ice Flamethrower Beam" again pushing the Hydro Pump right back at Swampert and freezing it in another freezing fire tomb.

"Not you, too! Houndoom, free Salamence and Swampert"

Houndoom fires a Flamethrower straight at where Salamence is frozen and eventually melts the ice encasing it. Salamence shakes off the remaining ice and decides to battle a little more.

"Salamence, try a Dragon Claw on one of the heads!"

Salamence's flies straight for the fused Chaos, one of its arms glowing with a fiery glow. The Chaos fires another "Ice Flamethrower Beam" straight at it, but Salamence manages to dodge it, almost. One of its wings becomes frozen in frigid flames, but it manages to go straight for the Fire Chaos's head and deliver a Dragon Claw right onto it. The head explodes and the Fire Chaos half explodes as well, reducing the creature to just an Ice Chaos again.

"All right! Houndoom and Salamence, both of you use Flamethrower together!"

Houndoom and Salamence both fire Flamethrowers, which combine into one large, intense Flamethrower, and the attack hits the Ice Chaos square in the head, destroying the lifeform altogether.

"All right now! Let's free Swampert and get out of here!"

Houndoom and Salamence try a Flamethrower on where Swampert is frozen, but due to the flames reinforcing it, the ice doesn't melt.

"Dang! We may need to try something else to break this ice! I got it, Sunflora, Manectric, come one out and use Solarbeam and Thunderbolt!"

Sunflora and Manectric both come out of their Pokéballs and combine a Solarbeam and Thunderbolt to break the fiery ice. The ice breaks instantly and Swampert falls to the ground. Nived runs up to his fallen Pokémon.

"Swampert, are you all right?"

Swampert manages to get up.

"All right then! Swampert, use earthquake to break this flaming ice barrier trapping us!"

Swampert slams the ground hard, shaking the entire area and breaking up all the burning ice in the area. The attack, however also hits the frozen Heavy Skarmory II, damaging it to the point where all its weapons are useless.

"Awww! Now the only thing my Heavy Skarmory II is useful for now is getting around the place! Houndoom, unfreeze it with Flamethrower!"

Houndoom fires another Flamethrower at the Heavy Skarmory II, unthawing the ice around it. Nived returns all his Pokémon to their Pokéballs and gets back in his craft, heading out through the area once again.

T-Minus 20:35:00

Back in the Electochemical Reactor, Topaz makes her way through the second level of floors. After passing by another holographic map station, she sees a green-colored Chaos, a Solar Chaos, floating in the hall. Behind it happen to be 3 more. Before she can react, the first Chaos charges up and fires a Solarbeam straight at her. Topaz gets knocked back all the way to the wall.

"Ow! What was that?!"

Topaz gets a better look at the Solar Chaos and notices it's similar to the Ice Chaos everyone faced back in the city. Knowing there are 4 she has to contend with, she gets ready for another battle.

"Well, I should fight Grass with Fre! Camerupt, you're up!"

Camerupt comes out of its Pokéball, ready for a battle.

"Camerupt, Eruption"

Camerupt shoots out lava and rocks from its volcanic humps straight onto the Solar Chaos. While they take on damage, they all split into cells and begin to swarm Topaz and Camerupt, giving off solar light flashes that light up the entire area.

"Ow! I can't see! Camerupt, Flamethrower!"

Camerupt attempts to use Flamethrower, but due to the the flashes, it fires it all over the place. However, several of the Solar Chaos cells are burned up by the attack and the swarm stops.

"Finally! Let's finish this! Another Eruption!"

Camerupt unleashes another Eruption attack, but this one isn't as strong as the last. However, a few more of the Solar Chaos's cells are taken out. At this point, the cells regroup into just two Solar Chaos.

"Well, looks like we've made some progress here!"

The remaining two Chaos fire Solarbeams that converge with one another, forming a large blast of solar energy.

"But it's not enough!"

Camerupt ends up jumping into the way, taking the blow, and falling to the ground. Topaz runs up to her fallen Pokémon.

"Camerupt, that was a very noble thing you did. Return. I have someone else who can handle this. Metang, try using a Meteor Mash on them!"

Metang comes out of its Pokéball, ready for battle. Its right claw glows brightly and a meteor shape appears on it. Metang goes straight for the first Solar Chaos with this arm, and hits it right in the head, but a Solarbeam that it fires sends Metang straight back to Topaz, almost hitting her. Metang is all right, though.

"You're ok! Try using a Shock Wave on them then!"

Metang charges up, then fires a spiraling stream of electricity that homes in on one of the Solar Chaos, hitting it and doing some more damage, but the Chaos splits into cells once again.

"Not more of this!"

The cells form some sort of net and trap Metang. They then make a solar bind around it. The other Chaos gets ready to to fire a Solarbeam straight at the Steel/Psychic Pokémon.

"Metang, try a Psychic attack!"

Metang, however, can hardly move due to the cells binding it. The Solarbeam attack ends up hitting Metang hard. The cells start giving off lots of solar flashes all around Metang.

"Metang, you can endure this! Don't give up!"

Metang manages to glow blue and thrusts the Solar Chaos cells right off of it. The cells reform into the Chaos once again.

"Okay! Maybe a Meteor Mash will take down these things!"

Metang charges up another meteor Mash, then brings it down on one of the Chaos, defeating it. The other Chaos retalitates with its arms, sending Metang flying right into the wall. Metang gets back up.

"Oh no you don't! Metang, use Dynamicpunch!"

Metang's claw starts to glow brightly. Suddenly, it sends a large punch straight towards the Chaos, destroying it. The Dynamicpunch then goes straight into the second Chaos's head, destroying that as well. With all theats out of the way, Topaz returns Metang to its Pokéball and starts out further through the plant.

"That was close! Good thing I was ready!"

After a turn down the hall , Topaz comes to a large pool of some sort of green glowing liquid encompasing the entire room. There doesn't seem to be any way of making it across. By Topaz is a large floating plasma TV with an attenae and a large solid computer panel attached below the screen.

"Well, maybe I can see just what we've run into."

Topaz presses some digital keys on the panel and reads what it says.

"So this is concentrated energy flowing throughout the plant. It also flows throughout Star City. But how do I get across it?"

Topaz presses a few more keys on the panel and suddenly, a few floating platforms rise out of the liquid. Looks like Topaz can now make her way across the liquid energy. She jumps from platform to platform and makes it to the other side.

"Good! Let's get going further!"

Topaz now makes her way up a sloping corridor and enters another straight hallway. Here, she passes by two large windows with orange liquid on the other sides. She looks through one of them to see what the liquid is.

"Just what is this stuff and what is it used for?"

Suddenly, about five Tier 2 Sentries, equipped with rocket launchers and reflector shields, drop down into the area.

"Ahh! Now you guys again! I better give my Pokémon a rest for this!"

Topaz pulls out her laser rifle and starts shooting the Sentries, but their shields deflect the shots straight back at her. She barely manages to roll out of the way of the laser shots.

"All right! Let's try this again!"

Topaz jumps up into the air and fires shots onto the robots' heads, destroying two of them and damaging 2 more. They fire rockets at her.

"Better Jump!!"

Topaz jumps out of the way of the incoming rockets, which explode around her. One of them even hits one of the large windows, but the rocket doesn't even leave a scratch on it. Topaz fires a few more laser shots at the remaining Sentries, taking down one more and damaging the only unharmed one.

"Say goodbye, pieces of scrap metal!"

Topaz fires a few more laser shots at the robots, hitting one of them and deatroying it. The last one, however, deflects the shot fired at it back and Topaz gets hit by the attack.

"Ow! Hit by one of my own shots!"

Topaz falls to the ground while the final sentry prepares to fire another rocket at her, one that may finish her off if successful. Suddenly, another voive is heard in the plant.

"Blastoise, Hydro Pump!" -unknown person

Two large streams of water are fired at the last Sentry, obliterating it. The person walks up to Topaz and picks her up.

"Are you all right?" -unknown person

"I think so. I'm not sure. Who are you anyway?"

"Oh, my name's Jay." -Jay

T-Minus 20:35:00

Tsubasa has been fired upfrom the Solrock Planet with the large capsule cannon, heading towards a Lunatone-shaped planetoid in the distance. The capsule then explodes near the planet, and a sphere made out of cubic-trapezoid-shaped balloons drifts down towards the planetiod and lands on a square platform composed of space rock and bordered by light green-colored metal. Upon reaching the surface, the balloons deflate, and the capsule opens up to reveal Tsubasa and her Pokémon. They all come out and look at their surroundings, seeing what they may need to do next.

"Well, we're further up now."

The Lunatone planet is littered with green crystals and red, glowing meteors. There is also a small facility on the nose of the planetoid. Also, there happens to be another light rail going around the middle of the planet and a monorail train traveling around it. Tsubasa pulls out some sort of gravity-reading device to scope the area's gravity with since the last one has its own.

"It doesn't look like this planet has its own gravitational pull like the one we were just on."

A line of more platforms lies ahead of Tsubasa for her to jump across. She does do, fourtanetely, the gravity within the stabilizer nets is lower, so she jumps higher and farther than she usually would.

"This looks pretty easy!"

Suddenly, a stream of small meteors hits the ground hear her, causing explosions. As it turns out, on the side of the Lunatone Planet are more Meteor Bombs, who can roll around on walls as well as ground.

"More of these?! Let's just get going!"

Tsubasa jumps to the next platform, only to be met by an Ice Chaos. The Chaos already splits into cells which attempt to swarm Tsubasa. Kappa despite being hurt badly, decides to step up and deliver a Mach Punch to one of the cells, but gets frozen as soon as it tounches one.

"Kappa, return! You shouldn't have tried that in your condition! When we're out of this I'll thaw you out!"

Waka steps up at this point and uses a Water Gun on some of the cells. However, the water Gun becomes frozen instantly upon getting close to the cells, due to some sort od ice lens they are using. An ince lens is where they chill the air around them to super-cold temperatures, which causes water to freeze instantly. This way, Water Gun and other related attacks have no effect on an Ice Chaos.

"Maybe Funary can zap some sense into it!"

Funary decides to use a Thunderbolt on the Ice Chaos cells, hitting a few of them and sestroying them. If onlt Tsubasa had some Fire Pokémon, she'd stand more of a chance against this frigid lifeform. Things are made worse with another stream of meteors from one of the Meteor Bombs nearby. Looks like things are looking pretty hard here.

"Funary, watch out!"

Funary attempts to use a Thunderbolt on the meteors, but they easily push the electrical attack back. Just as it seems Funary is done for, Waka joins in with a Water Gun and the meteors are pushed back towards the Meteor Bomb. The robotic meteor starts to take on some damage, but it and the others start to glow red, meaning that they're going to explode.

"We better get out of here!"

Tsubasa and her Pokémon jump through the swarm of Ice Chaos cells and onto the next platform as the Meteor Bombs explode, creating a large explosion that takes out the remaining cells. Tsubasa has safely made it onto a platform near the Lunatone Planet. Here there is another floating plasma TV like the one Topaz saw in the Electrochemical Reactor. Tsubasa presses down on some of the keys on the panel to bring up the name of this place.

"So this is called the Lunatone Planet. Figures. At least we're safe."

Tsubasa brings Kappa back out of her Pokéball and gets out an Ice Heal. She injects the capsule it into the ice, which then thaws and evaporates, freeing Kappa from her icy encasing.

"There! Good thing you're all right. I was worried about you. You better rest a while more."

Tsubasa returns Kappa to her Pokéball and jumps onto a pipe-like walkway connected to the wall of the planetiod. The walkway also has a glass railing. Tubasa and her other Pokémon head up the sloping walkway to another floating platform near one of the red meteors. Here, the meteor starts to glow brighter. Suddenly, it explodes, sending Tsubasa and her Pokémon flying outward from the planetiod. Suddenly, they land on something. As it turns out, the object they landed on happens to be an orange Attack Cube.

"Did we just land on one of these blocks again?!"

Fourtantely, it doesn't seem the Attack Cube notices her, but second later, missile launchers on the panel she's on open fire.

"Better jump off!"

As Tsubasa decides to jump off, possibly to her death, the Attack Cube turns its side downward, then fires more missiles at her.

"Wait! I have an idea!"

As the missiles come zooming by, Tsubasa manages to land her foot on one of them, sending her flying forward. She does the same with another missile and manages to make it back to the walkway. However, the Attack Cube is now on her trail.

"Better find a way to take this thing down!"

Tsubasa jumps back onto the platform and onto another as more missiles are fired at her. Eventually, she reaches the planetoid's nose, where the small building is. There are large windows on the sides, but they are tiled and tinted, not allowing easy views inside. Also, there's a silver, reflective satellite dish pointing up and spinning around the roof of the structure. It happens to be firing a constant static laser beam up into space above. Tsubasa tries to open the door leading inside, but nothing happens. Above the doorway, there is a video screen with a red "Do Not Enter"-shaped symbol constantly flashing.

"Looks like we need to find the switch for this place."

Tsubasa takes a small elevator at the back of the nose up to another platform and jumps onto it. A set of three Thunder Chaos see her and start to follow her.

"Uh oh! Waka, use Water Gun to stop them!"

Waka does just that, firing a Water Gun at one of the Thunder Chaos's heads, damaging it. The Chaos tries a Thunderbolt on Waka, but he happens to be unaffected by the attack.

"Good thing we got the advantage here! How about a Rock Slide now?!"

Waka manages to create a Rock Slide with the meterials on the platform, and the rocks go straight for the Thunder Chaos. One of them is destroyed, but the other two split up into smaller cells.

"Use another Rock Slide!"

Waka amazes us again with another Rock Slide that destroyes several of the Thunder Chaos cells. However, the remainig ones give of bright flashes tat bline Tsubasa and Waka. The cells then reform into a lone Thunder Chaos.

"Can't see! Waka, try another Rock Slide!"

Waka uses Rock Slide again, but the rock come towards Tsubasa and the other Pokémon. The Thunder Chaos fires a Thunderbolt towards them, but Funary fires one back, making the two attacks collide and causing a large explosion.

"Now try Rock Slide again!"

Waka manages to get out one more Rock Slide that goes straight for the Thunder Chaos. Several of the rocks hit it in the head and the plasma lifeform explodes. Now there's just the threat of the Attack Cube that's still there.

"Better get going!"

Tsubasa jumps onto another walkway, which leads up to two more platforms, but a few more Meteor Bombs wait on the walls there.

"No time to waste!"

Tsubasa and her Pokémon make it onto the platforms as the Meteor Bombs start firing more rapid-fire meteors at them. Another walkway awaits to lead up to the top of the planetoid.

"There must be a switch nearby!"

At the end of the walkway, there is another computerized switch like the one that was seen back on the Solrock Planet. Tsubasa presses down on it and flashing green equal marks pop up, meaning the small building has been opened. At this point, three more Attack Cubes, one yellow, one blue, and one violet, notice Tsubasa and her Pokémon. Now with 4 Attack Cubes hot on her tail, she knows she must hurry back to the satellite dish house.

"We're running out of time!"

Tsubasa and her Pokémon leap to a platform on the other side of the planetoid and down onto a walkway neat to it. The violet Attack Cube pulls out some neutralizer dishes and fires a few shots with them.

"Watch out, Waka!"

Both Waka anf Funary are hit by the blasts and are as you can put it neutralized. She returns both of them to their Pokéballs.

"Don't worry! When we're in the next cannon, I'll heal all of you with whatever I got!"

Tsubasa heads down the walkway as the yellow Attack Cube fires some laser cannons. Tsubasa jumps off the walkway and manages to land on the monorail tran below. She takes it all the way to the small building. Here, the video screen now displays a green equals sign and the doors are now open. Tsubasa heads inside and notices some computers and mainframes lining the walls. In the center of the room is another capsule cannon.

"Finally! Better get going!"

Tsubasa gets on a small footlift going to the top of the cannon and jump right in. The computer target screen inside the cannon can be seen pointing up to a large, multi-tiered platform out in the distance. The roof of the building opens up and the satellite dish is pulled out of the way. The cannon then fires the capsule containing Tsubasa straight up into the air at incredible speeds engulfing the capsule if flames. The capsule flies by more meteors and a few more Attack Cubes, which fire various weapons at it, but all miss.

T-Minus 21:30:00

Back on Pine's Island, our group of Trainers have just gone into the jungle. As it turns out, it's much more elaborate they they thought it would be. Ayu Locke looks up a large hill and knows to some people, this won't be easy.

"Well, let's get going. We should be close after this jungle!"

"Maybe I could use Arckee and you could use Flaar to make things faster here!" -Kiro

"Yeah! Okay everybody! Hop onto either Flaar or Arckee!"

"Do we have to? Is that tame anyway?" -Nova

"Yes it is! Now let's go!"

Ayu, Alalia, and Nova get onto Flaar while Kiro, Louinne, Scar, and Zion get onto Arckee. Both Pokémon take off at increidible speeds up the hill. Large, metallic posts start to rise out of the ground, emitting large streams of electricity, but Arckee and Flaar manage to sped by them before they fire.

"Whoa! Wasn't expecting that!"

"Looks like they are right about the things here!" -Louinne

At the top, both Fire Pokémon jump over a gorge of trees and plant-life onto solid ground. There is a large laser fence blocking their way. Three of those Trapinch robots that Kelsey ran into rise up from the ground.

"Flaar, Flamethrower!"

"You too, Arckee!" -Kiro

Both Arcanine fire Flamethrowers at the robotic Trapinch before they have a chance to ensnare our Trainers.

"Now let's jump over this fence!" -Kiro

Both Pokémon jump high into the sky and over the large laser fence. further down the path is a large tree stump. They run up in and down into the stump. Down here, more metal posts rise up.

"Now good! Better use Extremespeed!"

Flaar and Arckee make a massive burst of speed down the stump and out the other end before the posts fire large laser blasts all over the place.

"That was close!" -Nova

"It's not over yet!"

More laser posts start to rise up from the ground.

"Let's get going!"

Both Pokémon dash through the jungle as a line of metal posts constantly rise from the ground, creating laser fences that would block them if they weren't fast enough. At the end of the path there is another large gap.

"Time to jump!" -Kiro

Both Pokémon jump the expanse and climb up a large fallen tree trunk. The top of the trunk slopes down and eveyone heads into the interior of the tree trunk. Metal posts burst out from the bottom of the place. More electrical streams are fired as they make their way through the tree.

"Wow! He has set this up everywhere!"

After coming out of the tree trunk, there is a hill that goes downward. Both Pokémon rush down it to a pond of tropical green water below. Arckee and Flaar are moving so fast that they zoom right over the water.

"Now this is what I call travel!" -Alalia

Eventually, they reach a cliff where large, tall metal posts burst out from the water below and fire lasers everywhere to make a large 3-dimensional maze-shaped laser grid. There are several tree stumps rising out of the water here.

"All right! We'll need to time this right to make it to the other side!"

Flaar goes first, jumping from the cliff to one of the stumps, then jumps over a horizontal grid of lasers to the next.

"Now it's my turn!" -Kiro

Arckee jumps to the first tree stump just as a set of lasers turns on, blocking the way.

"Let's keep going!"

"Yeah! We'll make it out of here in no time!" -Zion

As a grid of lasers drop, Flaar jumps to a lower tree stump. Arckee jumps to the next one for them. Both Arcanine jump from tree stump to tree stump, dodging lasers where they appear, until they both reach another cliff.

"Glad that's over! Let's be on our way!"

Both Pokémon race down the path past several large trees. More laser posts burst from the ground and attempt to shoot them down, but they manage to evade them. The trip is fast, but tedious. Eventually, on a large, raised island in the middle of a pond, both Pokémon land, but a circle of posts rise up and cut them off from going any further in the jungle.

"We can always jump this!" -Kiro

Arckee tries to jump over the posts, but electricity shoots upward and zaps them back onto the island.

"Looks like we're trapped!"

Suddenly, five of those robotic Trapinch rise upward, snagging both Arcanine and flinging their riders right off of them.

"Ow! What was that for?!" -Alalia

As it turns out, our Trainers have gotten themselves into a bit of a jam. They may have to take down these robots in order to go any further.

OOC: I can't be bothered to read all these incredibly long posts, so do excuse me if I just screwed up. I'll fix it, just send me a PM or something, I did a quick skim, but something might've just like, gone "WHOOSH" right past me. xD

IC:"Honestly, I think this was just a waste of time." Zion sighed, hands in his pockets as he walked along a seemingly makeshift trail along the cedar trees, having ended up running super late due to his intelligent Cacturne hiding himself amongst a number of other Cacturne in the stupid desert in Hoenn, not to mention being stuck underneath a Trapinch pile-up with sand in all the wrong places. Bored out of his mind already, Zion was beginning to regret getting himself involved in this save the whatever business, but heaved a heavy groan when he remembered that it was his own fault that he was stuck on this spit of land doing this stupid mission. However, Zion stopped abruptly, and Absol, who had been trailing slightly behind his beloved trainer bumped right into the boy, who glanced over his shoulder in a disdainful way, though, not at his pokemon. Glancing down, Zion was extremely unimpressed as Absol slammed his forefoot down on the robotic Trapinch that was ripping at Zion's black lean fitting pants.

"The hell was that?" Zion asked boredly, and Absol simply glanced to the left, ignoring the question as if to say, 'Who cares?'. Well, as far as Zion was concerned, he didn't care all too much either.

"I guess those are the people who went before us." Zion pointed to a crowd surrounded by robotic Trapinch, like the rather weak one Absol had stomped like an annoying ant. However, contrary to the usual reaction, Zion simply sat down on a nearby tree that seemed to have been felled quite a long time ago, hands now clasped lazily before his bent knees as he watched the others with a bored expression that was half glare, half "I-haven't-realized-you-can-see-me".
