Story
Welcome to the Fervor Region, a region up in the north that has been in crisis for a couple years due to the events of a group of criminals releasing a chaotic substance across the entire region, essentially trapping everyone within out of fear it'll spread. Our protagonist and their friend are stuck at their relatives' place because of this, and are just trying to enjoy life even with a fractured league. However, a chance encounter are going to expand these children's understanding of the world... and perhaps another.

Important Note
Due to implementations of new systems during new updates, save files have the chance to not work for future updates. I will try to make sure that whenever a new one of these systems get introduced, it's with a lot of new content, but know that you'll need to reset save files at times.

Version 1.9.0 - Pareto Principle
"Penultimate" Beginning, huh? Yeah, there were just more bugs than I realized and it culminated in a larger update. To make up for that, I released the content I was blocking off for the time. You can almost get to the end of the chapter at this point. Just missing a gym battle and like two scenes afterwards.
- More content added (till right before gym).
- Improved the Mantrees chase scene so there's less dead-time.
- Removed elemental stuff I was going to use. Torches now lightable by Chirp. There's no reason to have type-specific roadblocks when you're already dealing with multiple characters.
- Overworld DLV Pokémon that blank charms can work on, granting charms on defeat. They only show up near the end.
- Updated Tear animation.
- New option when sleeping to skip to day before deadline.
- Improved overworld sprites for Lotta and Paisley.
- Removed shiny icon sprites since they don't exist for fakemon.
- Pandora's Box has a function now.
- Certain effects of the Sudowoodo charm were working for all Pokémon.

I was originally planning to get all the content up through the first gym in this update, but due to a combination of the update getting larger and larger than I was planning for it to be and some major bugs I realized needed to be dealt with, 1.8.0 was born. BE AWARE: The end of content for now occurs during a free time with deadlines, so make sure you don't accidentally stall out the timer!
- Whole bunch of Pokémon technically added, though not currently available in-game.
- Replaced trash "Think" theme with the Super Mario Galaxy "File Select" theme. Less grating theme.
- Modify background of Load screen to fit the game's theme a bit better.
- Brand new overworld system for the carriage system.
- Battle Environments: Canyon/Berry-Berry Canyon, Neon North Lab, Peak, Lava Field, Desert, Beach, Taiga, Aurora, Water Fortress and Trollodile's Castle.

Couple things I overlooked during my bug fixing of 1.7.1.
- Removed some sound effect and credits for them. They're not being used anyways.
- Candle guy now uses actual money. Shards will still have a use though, so don't go selling them instantly.
- Frisk raises accuracy each time it sees an item.
- Fixed the outdated Missing Chandler quest giving a rare and incomplete item.
- Fixed some trainer metadata being incorrect.
- Added missing cries for Acrylimp and Griefog.
- Two new charms. One that changes the user's type to ???, and another that deals more damage against Pokémon with a BST of at least 550.
- Made designs for Griefog (from Fogriefang) and Acrylimp (from Deshrigmp). To that one person who already caught and evolved their Shrimpea, uh, your game won't work? It's a pure normal type though, so I might be able to slide this one by without anyone really having that issue.
- Overworld sprites for Acrylimp.
- A quiet version of the "Think" theme plays on the Load screen.
- Fixed oversight with cry common event that causes crashes when interacting with follower events.
- NatDex doesn't exist yet, so NatDex trying to be accessed by certain characters in the Otherside breaks the game.
- Pause screen now updates dynamically, so certain apps that only exist for certain characters will vanish when swapped to. Should help against any bugs related to that.
- Added Dodruple's missing cry.
- Fixed Dull Elements Charm always makes moves have same effectiveness.
- Fixed some wrong color pixels on Reindrop's overworld sprite.
Yep, you heard me right. I actually playtested without DEBUG. Quite a few issues appeared that I just wasn't aware of because for some reason I didn't even consider the possibility that there would be issues when not in DEBUG mode. What is wrong with me?
Also, important system that'll play a role throughout the entire game, I guess. You know, just a smaller addition. Fortunately it didn't require saving anything, so no save file deletion this time!
- Otherside Traversal System. It makes the earlier comment about how we weren't Miitopia anymore kind of funny.
- Every Pokémon has a new flag in pbs that relates to their new ability in the Otherside.
- Added Fakemon: Dodruple.
- New Environment: Savanna, Water (which I somehow missed).
- Hail Mary Charm that boosts power of inaccurate moves.
- Characters now show with outfits in overworld.
- Modified dialogue in FROTA scene a little.
- Replace material system rewards from new places to new gifts (like clothes). Main location in Quest Center with center Quincy, though there are other places where you can obtain rewards.
- Updated type matchup UI. Press T in battle.
- Make quite a few themes quieter to minimize themes blasting your ears.
- Fixed credits to remove credits not used anymore.
- Forgot to remove some debug lines that made the whole thing essentially unplayable.
- Player can't change character while they have a partner.
- Fixed positioning of trainer during Guess Who.
- Updated outdated Wheeleo dex entry.
- Misspellings of Francisco and outdated text fixed.
- Fixed trainers' mons with forms not properly working.
- Can't release Pokémon while unable to catch Pokémon to minimize softlock chances.
- Pokémon don't get HP back when with partners.
- Properly implemented (and changed) the Panic Charm.
- Forgot to turn on switches for frostbite and drowsy in update to Gen 9 Project.
- Material system continues to work but be broken. It should be fixed now, but if that systems gives errors without crashing the game again, I won't be surprised.
- Fixed sharing bags bug that duplicated items.
- Fixed Save Scumming challenge not allowing saving at all.
- Party members don't swap when change character and swap without closing menu.
No new story content, but quite a bit of overhauling done to earlier systems. WARNING: Due to the implementation of a new system (weather in this case), older save files will not work. This was always something planned to be added when I found the plugin I was looking for, so this was kind of inevitable. However, most of the side stuff (barring one quest I still haven't reached yet location-wise) should be finished, so next update will definitely be story content.

Updated Trollodile's dialogue from an outdated structure of Pokémon Uakitite. - All the missing environments added into the game.
- You can't catch Pokémon while in a major story beat since.. that kind of defeats the purpose of free time elsewise.
- Item box inventories are shared between playable characters.
- Consumable items function like in Generation 9.
- Update UI of status effects and types.
- Hair stylist for Furfrou in Blue Kakuna City.
- Remove fourth wall-y stuff. I thought about it and decided that I can accomplish everything here without the needless complications of fourth wall stuff. I need to slow myself down before biting off more than I can chew on the coding front of things.
- Fun little screen that sometimes shows up when starting game.
- Can't properly head back to title screen without breaking.
- Removed print statement I forgot to remove.
- Battle themes now play for wild Pokémon as well as trainers.
- PBS for Encounters not properly saving, so candle encounters show up anyways.
- Fixed relationship events not showing up properly.
- Fixed partner trainers crashing when using items.
- Party selection for trainer 3 freaks out in battle if trainer 2 has one mon.
- Added missing "charm" word to most charms that was causing them not to do anything.
- Properly implemented the airtight charm.
- Status in summary not showing fainted/pokérus correctly.
- Added missing Blue Kakuna City evening and night tilesets.
Version 1.5.0 - The Divergence Update
- Some more story content added. Mostly dialogue and locations though.

BUG FIXES
- Fix the positioning of certain battlers.
- Missing back shiny sprites for regional forms.
- Modified (and resized) the rare variant of Fervorian Sunkern to make it noticeable. I initially thought I did it in 1.4.1, but turns out I never put them into the Graphics files. Whoops.
- Added Overworld Sprites: Applin [Fervorian], Chokheat, Dynamutt, Iguorena, Inklar, Mirshee, Moreroll, Mozzerite, Natu [Fervorian], Skyas, Sunkern [Fervorian], Tempterror, Wintoise, Writrap, Xatu [Fervorian]. Was planning four more, but that's when I was made aware of a major issue I overlooked when updating tileset system. They'll be here very soon.
- Poison now resists water as well as being super effective against it. Always intended, I just missed it.
Do not ask me how I managed to miss such a problematic bug during 1.4.0. My incompetence impresses me more than it does any of you.
- Added missing turn-off for self switch when exiting bedroom causing game to freeze.
- Make sure sleep system doesn't allow you to skip past deadline.
- Level Two Character Events for Quarter and Lotta introduced... along with two new systems.
- Lotta: Implemented a fishing minigame. Certain Pokémon will only be able to be found here, and there may be items and treasure to be found in the future... especially with better rods.
- Quarter: Secret bases, like in the Hoenn games. Can't get anything for now, but just having access to a sleeping bag is probably quite nice to have in an unreal-time system.
- Reworked the sleep system.
- Added trainer sprites for the fishermen.
- Tunocco Berry has been added to act as the blind status ailment cure like with the Pecha or Rawst berries.
- Partner trainers are now able to be controlled. We ain't Miitopia anymore!
- Characters share dex entries now. Not sharing them just made things needlessly complicated for both the player and me.
- Time doesn't show when in time freeze mode since it's weird to be on one time for long periods of time. Now we don't have to show it!
- Removed access to map for time being. it's useless right now anyways.
- Added missing dialogue sprites for a certain Totodile.
- Reworked/Removed certain custom moves. Honestly, doubt anyone will even notice this since the majority of these moves aren't even accessible yet.
- Added Pokémon: Shrimpea, Sailbass, Ectosma, Plasnumb, Losrick, Fervorian Totodile, Fervorian Croconaw, Fervorian Feraligatr, Ovoidapt: Peak and Ovoidapt: Rainforest.
- Overworld Sprites for: Ectosma, Plasnumb, Fervorian Totodile, Ovoidapt: Peak and Ovoidapt: Rainforest. Between me wanting to get this update out with quite a few bug fixes and the process being monotonous, not all of the fakemon have thier overworld sprites yet. This is top priority for 1.4.1.
- All random trainers were given a skill level.
- Animation for charm cleansing Pokémon added.
- Starting Environments: Basic and Grassy Route added.
- Fixed Lapang evolving into itself, making material system break.
- Fixed Lotta and Quarter's phone calls using outdated name.
- Fixed error duplicating player/Zaria's party to the other after battling Professor Banyan.
- Fixed gym map not properly loading.
- Fixed some maps showing the void because Snap Edges wasn't put on/Snap Edges breaks the map and I needed to expand these maps to hide them.
- Fixed Simi's not appearing during first time in Rozele Forest.
- Dynamutt, Mirshee and Searvice lines missing tutor moves.
- Regional forms now properly show cries in overworld.
- Added overworld sprites for Ovoidapt.
- Fixed TM Spite not showing up (missed Self Switch).
- Fixed error in Sociedew boss fight skipping first phase.
- Fixed missing pbs data for rival Chirp crashing the game.
- Implemented the Material System
- Visit the Quest Center after the first major boss in order to begin using this system.
- Some more content introduced after the previous end point. Not too much though.
- Added some Pokémon found with the Luring Candles, as using them was a complete waste at the time.
- Power Surges quest won't show till after Illegal Mushrooms quest to prevent confusion.
- Added missing Low Sweep to Pokémon's TMs lists.
- Some other small changes behind the scenes not accessible to players yet.
- Wild Pokémon will drop materials on fainting. This'll be useful for side quests and more features yet to be implemented.
- Team selection for instances like important battles that follow "league rules" (like gym battles).
- Added item icons for the implemented charms.
- Fixed Sociedew's species name showing up as Carnivine.
- Fixed East Galveson and the Courtroom so no black void is shown.
- Added missing dialogue with Galveson City NPCs to account for Zaria not being with you always during free time.
- Improved cutscene where you get starters at that may have been causing freezing?
- Added Sociedew to the dex.
- Speed-up implementation.
- Text skipping by holding the back button.
- Added extra line of test at intro to show existence of F1 for controls.
- Cries have been generalized into a single common event, which'll allow for more versatile ways of calling the cry of a Pokémon.
- Deadline now says "N/A" if there's no current deadline to pay attention to. Mostly just because having a colon end a sentence looks weird.
- < symbols causing female trainer to break while in Trainer ID.
- Fixed outdated Sprite Scaling code that was messing up sprite positioning.
- Removed unnecessary "Use TM's" option in Summary since Move Machine is the place where TMs go now.
- Re-added missing map connections so you can actually get to the different routes.
- Fixed badge system showing things incorrectly.
- Put Galveson City together as maps since I hadn't fixed those when I got the sideways stairs to work.
- Removed random grass decoration tiles in Galveson City's east.
- Simplified seasons because meteorologist seasons are simpler to work with.
- Fixed Credits cause I actually used two Galaxy themes, not one, and potentially more may get used for the Otherside.
- Properly implemented code for the ability Forever Young.
- Fixed some graphics that I didn't implement the right version of.
- Removed some files existing when they shouldn't.
If you find any bugs while playing the game, please inform me! I'm one person with some bad testing skills, so I'm absolutely going to miss things.
