[Alesteir]

As of Release 1, this is a very bugged and incomplete version of the game.

There's not much gameplay and all of it is pretty ugly, do not expect anything good by downloading this.

The only reason this is here is to get Ideas, suggestions and possibly new bugs I didn't yet encounter (but would be useful to while it's at the "beginning").

Pokémon Plus is a collection of stories from various regions which at the very end will interconnect for a reason or another.

You start in Pallet town, after getting your starter you start your journey to collect all eight badges of Kanto, considering Team Rocket has been long disbanded you don't expect any troubles in your adventure but, even if as not as bad, you'll encounter many small criminal groups which will slow you down.

(Trainer ♀) Leaf Wannabe:

You start in Pallet town as Rival to "Red Wannabe", you'll share his same Plot from a different point of view and often become his partner to defeat criminal groups you'll meet along your journey.

You start in Littleroot town, during a very bad time in Hoenn, many Pokémons and People get randomly kidnapped while some are left badly hurt but during your journey you'll meet a special friend which you decide to help and in exchange she will help you back and together uncover and defeat the mysterious criminal group.

In Kanto, Pallet town, two new trainers: Natalie and Cimmerian start their Journey.
While Cimmerian already owned a Poliwag since he was really young, Natalie was completely inexperienced and thus way more nervous than her rival, while she was late by checking if she had got everything, Cimmerian got an unusual starter, a strong Pikachu.

Once Natalie finally got her starter, the two test out their new Pokémons in a fight and then Cimmerian starts to go in Veridian City while Natalie gets called back inside Oak's laboratory to get her Pokédex and a few Pokéballs to start catching some new Pokémons along the way.

Cimmerian, once in Viridian city, changes his mind about challenging Blue as first gym and instead considers Brock as a better Option considering that his true starter is a water Pokémon after all and so he skips Viridian City's gym and heads to Viridian's forest while Natalie doesn't think twice about trying her luck in the first gym she encounters but, to her disappoint, she finds the gym empty, Blue had gone somewhere and she was forced to go in Viridian's forest as well to reach Pewter city.

Meanwhile, in Hoenn, another young trainer started his adventure but in less happy circumstances, while many years before two criminals team were stopped from putting the world into chaos, a new unknown threat was spreading in the whole region, people and Pokémons get kidnapped to be never seen again, while the "lucky ones" would be left pretty injured, for this reason hosptails were more full than usual, and new trainers less common.

This, of course, was not a good reason to be less happy to have finally realized his dream to become a trainer and hurries to Birch's Pokémon lab hoping to find him there and to his surprise, he was just in time, how unlikely, luck must still exist after all.
Having choosen his Pokémon, he journeys to Oldale town to tell his mom the good news and show her his starter.
He finds her speaking with a cop in a Pokémon Center, from what he hears, it's about the new criminal team.

After meeting his Mom, even though she's worried, she wishes him good luck on his journey and he leaves to head to Petalburg's gym to get his first badge, while on route 102, he hears some growls, it's three Poochyenas attacking a poor Ralts, so he decides to act as the heroes from his hometown and play hero by saving Ralts.

After saving the Pokémon, Ralts tells the young trainer how she got separated by her parents, they were kidnapped by that new criminal team but she had managed to escape.
The young trainer offers to help, so ralts joins his team and stays out of the Pokéball so she can identify the members of that unknown organization.

They eventually find out they're currently active in the forest near Petalburg's city, the trainer ponders the idea to go directly to the forest and skip the gym but ralts convinces the trainer to challenge Norman first because, if he can't at least defeat him, he wouldn't have any chance against such dangerous team.

On his way to the gym, the trainer meets Ruby, Norman's son, the two know eachother because they're from the same hometown even if Ruby, being busy with contests, didn't pass much time at home.
He was probably headed to the forest, either because he was aiming for that organization or because he had to pass by there, in either case, those criminals were going to be very unlucky.

The trainer goes inside the gym to challenge Norman and, after getting his first badge, hurries right away to the forest hoping they're still there so he can gather information regarding those criminals.

General:
It asks save's name twice (last one's name is the valid one). (Fixed on Release 2)
The weather is "random" and not fully functional. (Fixed on Release 2)
Lights and shadows don't work yet. (Fixed on Release 2)
Region Maps are wrong. (Fixed on Release 2)
Some Phone Numbers are bugged.

Leaf Wannabe:

Wow, no replies yet? I'm not 100% understanding this (for example if we focus on one character or play as all), but this definitely seems like a pretty unique undertaking. Best of luck to you, and I'll be keeping an eye on this one!

You can make multiple profiles, so you can play them all on different saves but on a single playthrough you'll be able to play only the character you choosen but still be able to meet all the other characters as NPCs eventually (for instance, if you choose "red wannabe" you'll be able to see during the story "leaf wannabe").

That's what I'd hoped it was, and it is beyond cool. Anything to increase replay value is a big "+" (har har), and I have always wanted to play a game with different/eccentric starting locations. Something about choosing to start in Cianwood City really excites me for some reason, haha.

Glad you like the idea =D although it's not just about different locations but also different plots (even if in Release 1 it doesn't show that, all three plots are trainers) but, in release 2 there'll be two new plots which are going to be about being a fisher (so no badges and other trainer-related stuff) and gym leader, which I just made a video about:

I'm almost done with Red wannabe and Leaf Wannabe plots as for release 2 (they will reach Cereulean City) as you can see i fixed all bugs present in release 1.

The Fisher (new plot) is something I'm doing next which starts in jhoto but then goes to Pallet town to reach Sable city (and then stops there for release 2).

Then there are the gym leader and the lovers plot which I'm going to do before release 2 (so it will still take quite a bit of time).

one of the best games ive played since pokemon raptor loved how ralts follows you but i dont like how you start off with a poliwag i like having the pikachu though havent tried wannabe leaf yet but i wish you the best of luck and the completion of this game that is amazing cant wait for the next releases in the future

^ Comparing it to Pokemon Raptor is pretty far-fetch(No offense), considering this doesn't even have as much gameplay, nor a trading function and the like. I do like the multiple trainer classes though, but can't say much about it, because everytime I try and download it, the Game Player just refuses to open.

I agree with FangOfDarkness, it's nowhere near that level!
It doesn't have much Gameplay because it's a demo aimed to find bugs I didn't notice and also suggestions/ideas to improve it further.

Having a Poliwag at the start of the game is a must because of the plot (He owned a Pokémon prior to becoming a trainer) and it's also balanced because the first gym you'll encounter is rock (otherwise, against the other Pokémon you'll encounter at the beginning, Poliwag is pretty weak) that's where Pikachu will be useful, in the other hand, once you arrive in Pewter City, you'll need Poliwag to defeat Brock because in that case Pikachu will be the useless one (unless, of course, you'll catch a butterfly along the way).

Lately I've added an achievement screen (For fisher only), each objective earns the fisher some Rep points, which I was thinking to use in some fisher challenges to earn badges (to the way to become the best fisher ever).

If you have any suggestion (Either graphical or a better way to use rep points), please do let me know =).
