Pokéride Functionality

Ok so I created a Ride Pager item which uses the command pbMount(Lapras) to mount on Lapras.
But when i call the Ride Pokemon on land, instead of saying "You can't call this ride here!" it gives me a runtime error. Help...
 
Do you have any tutorial in which you explain how to create the menu to access the pokeides that way?
 
How could you "unlock" rides?
Because lapras always shows up when surfing.
Or how could I disable surf mounts? It always gives an error when I set it to "nil", nil or nothing at all.
