Pokétch or Menu - Which do you prefer?

Which would you rather grace your DS's touch screen?

Simple question really, the fourth generation of Pokémon games brought about a new region and also had some revisit an old favourite. Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, set in Sinnoh, had the Pokétch on the DS's touch screen while HeartGold and SoulSilver, set in Johto, had the game's Menu on the DS's touch screen. Now if you've played both games, or even if you haven't, which did you prefer or would prefer?

I prefer the Pokétch, naturally as I'm a Sinnoh fan, but it was more convenient and helped in game to know certain stuff. I love the type match-up thing to see what's strong or weak against what.

A combination system that allows you to boot into Pokétch applications. There were many useful things in the Pokétch system that were disregarded when they designed the HGSS menu system, but the menu itself offers much more useful and quick functionality than just the Pokétch on its own.

Gunna agree with Mega Shock. There were pros and cons to both. The Poketch required mindless clicking til you got to the app you wanted, whereas the menu in HGSS just got you what you needed when you touched on it, but didn't offer a lot of the good features from the Poketch (time, team viewer, daycare, map, etc). But I think I will go out on a limb and say I will take the Poketch or HGSS menu over BW's C-Gear anyday. Doesn't do me any good to know if I'm in a wifi zone tbh.

Im going to go with the Menu. It saves a lot of time, but I kind of wish that the menu in HGSS (or the pokegear specifically) would have some features from the Poketch.

As cool as the Poketch is, I'd rather have the menu on the touch screen because I don't have to press "X" all the time to bring the menu up.

I really enjoyed the poketch. I have found a lot of the apps useful, though I don't like the mindless clicking to go to each one. If it were easier to navigate to the one I wanted at that time, it would've been perfect to me.
