Pok?Village: Pika... LIVE?!

So yeah. I added a new section here. Thoughts~?

You have a very nice color scheme, very readable. I would suggest making the headers to your content be in a different color so they stand out more. I suggest seriously that you make the layout stretch more to the width of the users browser, I'm on 1024x768 and sort of annoyed by how small the content area is.

I also wouldn't display "Staff Login" to the world; let your staff know the URL and have them type it manually. It's best to try to protect stuff like that.

The main problem your site has is a case of 'bad links.'

https://pokevillage.net/?page=opinion/webbies
https://pokevillage.net/?page=site/awards

etc.

You should be using mod_rewrite to change this into the less verbose https://pokevillage.net/opinion/webbies and https://pokevillage.net/site/awards. Google and other search engines don't give as high ratings to pages using query strings. Plus, it looks unprofessional. :)

The problem is that Elixant doesn't support mod_rewrite, as far as I know. =/

sounds pretty horrid then, www.site5.com

By the way, what is the font you used on the Home / Pocket News / JKaizer.net stuff at the top?

The only way I really could get it to stretch would be by changing the banner, and I'd rather not make Matt do it. (It's a Matt layout btw)

I'm actually the only staff ^^ I have it there for my own good~ I personally couldn't care less about what others think of it.

Elixant does support it Robo. >D JA is using it.

And I prefer using the ?page links. A personal preference. I really don't care if my hits go up for down... they don't matter much to me.

Thanks for the replies though.

Oh, I thought that you guys talked to Mike about it and he couldn't get it to work. I guess you all got past the PHPSuExec. x.x
