2nd Gen Pokeball glitch

I think its supposed to be B + ^, but it really doesn't do anything, you still have the same chance of catching the pokemon.
 
Glitch version 2: The glitch is B+^ , then hold A when the pokeball close after throw the ball at it.

Glitch version 1: Throw a ball and Hold A, then Hold B after the ball closes.

I think pressing the buttons when trying using a Pokeball actually makes the Pokemon break out easily. Well, that's what happens to me most of the time.
 
It doesn't really affect anything(so far as I know about it), but I like to use a "lucky button press" which I just like to do, not caring if it actually does something. I press B when the ball opens and hold it down for up to two "wobbles".

Hah, funny, I've noticed that as well.
Its weird, at first I thought it was coinsidence, but I dont think so, because its done it alot.

I remember trying the Pokeball Cheat thing...It didn't work for me...^^;
 
When ever I throw a poke'ball, I walk away from the game and when I come back, most of the time I actualy catch the pokemon.
 
That cheat...Does it really work, or it's only an urban legend ??
 
I don't know, but it works for me.
 
It's a fake. I don't know about you but it never works for me or anyone else I know. It's one of those things that convinces you to do it over and over again because you apparently 'didn't do it right/not fast enough'. I hate those tricks >_<
 
Its just people on cheat sites wanting you to do these things that don't even work. Take Eevee Cave for example, In ruby and Saphire beat the elite 9999 times and a cave will appear in a pokecenter.

Who will do that?
 
yeah i hate those people i read one where you hold B+select the as the ball closes hold A+start but this 9/10 times it resets your game but anyway i hold A and move the d-pad around, it doesn't do anything special but i find it comforting to do it in case it doesnt work and it is a legendary
 
I really don't think there is a glitch to catch any Pokemon with out fail. I think its based on luck because it never works for me

Well, as far as GSC goes, it didn't work too well. However, I found a trick for R/S that seems to work rather well...but, seeing as this is a GBC games subforum, it isn't the place to talk about it XP.
 
I agree with most that this code/trick doesn't work.

What I used to hear was that this trick only worked for the Park- and Safari-Balls, B + ^. I later heard that you had to throw the Park- or Safari-Ball while holding A, then when the ball opens, quickly switch to B + v.
I did also hear that when using a Pokeball or Great Ball, by holding A when thrown and quickly switching to B + v when it bursts open, it would make the ball act like an upgraded version (ex. Pokeball= Great Ball... Great Ball= Ultra Ball), however, this wouldn't make an Ultra Ball equivilant to a Master Ball.

Yes, it may seem easier to catch Pokemon by doing this, but I personally do not think this will effect the outcome of the capture.
 
There is no glitch as such. It's just a psychosis held by many players.

Yeah, Mr. "Comforting", many people feel like that when does this trick. I also feel more comfortable when I do that. It looks like the Pokéball works better, but really it don't.
 
I even got the feeling that when using this method the Pokemon escapes easier from it.
 
I sorry to say it dosent work. i was so sad that i emailed a gamefreak worker (creators of pokemon) and the emailed back 24 hours later
i was devistated cos i always thought it did.
so the moral here is dont be curious

I've tried everything like this, and such tricks never worked for me.
