    This is part of an effort to generate activity in the TCG section.

    The general idea is for the more tenured and noticeably more skilled/knowledgeable members of the TCG area to write articles in their areas of expertise... though this is just a temporary idea.

    Some things the panel could do:
    Restart the Card of the Day/Week thread.
    Start a Fake of the Day/Month/Week thread.
    Start featuring both casual and tourney play decks on a weekly/monthly basis.
    Write threads going into detail on specific rules on a sporadic basis.
    Organize tourneys via Redshark (just an idea)?

    I think the following people should apply/join based on what I've seen the past 8 months:
    !MajesticSmeargle! - Seems to have a good understanding of the game, particularly the deck building. Is active in the area.
    Shinjislover - Has been reliably active, and has a good understanding of various parts of the game.
    Aki the Tanuki - Has been fairly active... and has a great knowledge of creating fake cards.

    I think I'd be good with starting Fake of the Week and Card of the Week. Expect a PM from me ASAP.​
     
    I was wondering if we could get affiliation for pokemon contests. I'm the admin at ETC Forums, and we regularly hold deckbuilding contests and other contests for pokemon, with packs/tins as prize support. PC doesn't have a store sponsoring it, so they can't really distribute the goodies. Why don't our sites team up to hold a contest in some later date? We both get activity, and members from both sites can get prize support for it.

    For something like that, you'd have to talk to the site administrators, since that is a site partnership between sites.

    What I'm doing here is an effort by non-staff members to generate activity in this section. It's been pretty quiet here for the past few years... and this is one of the things I am hoping will help. I got the idea several months ago when someone joined the site, posted this, and then disappeared for no reason, leaving the project to die. The requirements for that one were much more strict than this one.

    I post the most in here, but I haven't attended any tournaments or something :(

    iPingu, I haven't attended any either. But all you really need to a good handle on the game. You need to know the rules and whatnot.​
     
    I may be able to help with the rules... but I'm a lazy/busy person and rules research time is hard to come by.

    This is really all I'm looking for... most of the stuff I'm asking for is to provide opportunities for proving just what your specialty should be.
     
    Well, I'm not quite sure how I could help.

    I could do something involving Unlimited play, perhaps, as I've seen a large amount of combos involving older cards and newer ones (particularly with Pokemon Lv. X).
