Pokemon Adventures- Gold and Silver

Murray didn't hear any more screaming from Hermione's tent, but screams began to come from Tristan's. He saw Raine checking how he was, so he went away from Hermione's tent. His Totodile looked really mad
"TOTOTOTODILEDILEDILE!" he was yelling, like saying "Leave my friends alone! Go away!"
"Who are you, eh? Why do you bother us?" Murray said. "...Y'know, you're really a coward...Come out so I can see your face...If you got the guts to do that...of course..." he added, trying to upset the evil Pokémon and get him to his sight.

Silence.

"Come on! I know you're out there, you chicken! COME OUT!" he said, sounding really irritated.

You woke us all up with your nightmares...Now you gotta pay for it...

"Toto...DILE!" his Pokémon yelled and then roared. He looked as irritated as his trainer.

Raine stopped when she heard Murray and Totodile yelling. But that wasn't the reason. She shivered more getting the feeling that something was right behind her but she couldn't see it even if she turned around. "M...Mu..Murray!" she called out voice full of fright as she fell to her knees feeling like she was freezing cold.
"Pichu! Pi! Pichu!!" Spark called out meaning Stop scaring my Trainer!!

OOC: So since the owner hasn't been online for over a week I'm just going to assume I'm accepted... where are you guys so far? Have you already made it to Cherrygrove yet? I'll make my debut post tomorrow if I have time!

(We're at Route 30)

Tristan woke up to all the drama. He flung himself to his feet and ran out of his tent, Piplup following him. Pretty quickly, he caught on to what was going on. "...I honestly doubt he's gonna come out, yet... I-I think we should go on to Violet City."
(At Violet City I'm gonna have Piplup evolve, and catch a Pokemon that's a 2nd evolved form of a starter, I hope that's okay with you guys. That's the last starter Pokemon I'll get, I promise.)

Tristan looked around the area, and felt a breeze. The area really was cursed. "...But we'll have to come back later, and figure out what's going on here.."

OCC: I'm considering keeping Pichu as a Pichu not letting him evolve just have him be a powerful Pichu as he levels up. and at some point i hope to catch electrike and eevee and i'll be set.

Raine was on her knees trembling and shivering "I....i..d..don't w..wan.t t..to come..b..back here..." she choked out voice full of fright alerting the others to just how much this place was affecting her.

"huh?" she said, while waking up because she saw a shadow around her tent, with a pair of blood red eyes.
"TOGE!!!" said a Togepi, meaning "SCARY!"
Hermione got out of her tent, seeing a badly injured Togepi, screaming.
-------------
planning to catch that Togepi when we stop the bad dreans ;)

"Raine! What's wrong?" Murray said as he heard it "Tristan, you're right...We gotta get out of here...All of us..."
"Toto...dile. Totodiledile!" Totodile said, meaning "Okay...let's go. But that guy's gotta pay!"
"Don't worry, Totodile, we'll get him..." his trainer said. "...Let's pack up guys..."

You win for now, whoever you are...But don't mess with me again...because I won't be as forgiving as I am now...I'll crush you...You'll be sorry you ever did this...

He packed his tent and went towards Raine.

"Raine, I'll help you with your tent..." Murray said. "...I owe you for last time...don'tcha think?"

Okay, so past this route is Route 31...And then comes Violet City...I hope we are safe there...And I hope no evil Pokémon dares to distrub innocent people like us...

"I..it f..feels...l..like..so..something..i..is..be..behind..m..me.." Raine whimpered managing to find Murray's hand to get up. When her hand touched his he could feel her skin was ice cold. "y..you c..can help..me..if.you w...want...as..long as we get out of here." she whispered.
"Pi! Pichu! Pi! Pichu!" Spark said to Totodile meaning When we find who did this they are dead meat!

Time was quickly burning away, and Joey's heart was threatening to burst into the atmosphere. He had been the last one to recieve his Pokemon egg and was already behind on his journey.

That wouldn't do. He was sprinting down the beginning route, paying no attention to the wild Pokemon or the scenery. Normally he was very hasty, but being set back threw him into an alarmingly reckless gear- he now had to play catch up with the other starting trainers. Joey's egg had been incubating in the lab for a few extra days since he had arrived so late, and it was so warm that he could feel it's nurturing temperature through the backpack that it was nestled in. The egg seemed about average size, not particularly tiny or large. It had red polka-dots all over its yellowish shell.

After running along for nearly an hour the poor boy had to keel over and rest, since he had begun to see dark spots that clotted his vision. Setting his backpack down, he reached in his backpack for his water bottle, which was uncomfortably warm from the egg's heat. Nonetheless, the bottle was completely drained in less than a minute. Laying under the shade of a small tree, Joey, still breathing heavily, grabbed a nearby stone and chucked it at the hilly horizon. Frustration was teeming in his blood, because he knew that as he rested everyone else was putting more distance between them and him, and that the time between him and his Johto League Championship was lengthening.

But he did note one good thing- well, more a neutral thing. It made no distance whether he was running or resting to the egg, which would hatch of its own accord. Speaking of which, the red polka-dotted egg was actually stirring. As Joey focused more on his open backpack with the egg sticking out, he realized that it was rocking the entire bag! And were those cracks in its side?!

"Okay...he said...I'm on it" Murray said, going to Raine's tent to pack it up. "...And you can relax, there's nothing behind you...except for Totodile, who's watching your back while I help you pack up..."
He was done with it in less than five minutes.
God I'm good at this...

"Okay, Raine, your tent's packed up. Let's wait for the others to pack up theirs...Meanwhile I'm watching your back in case that coward decides to hit again..."
He'd better stay away from us...or else...

"Toto...dile. Dile dile dile..." Totodile said to Raine's Pichu, in an angry but calm tone, meaning. "You bet...He's so finished...". He didn't like the idea of being woken up from his sleep...And he liked less the idea of he and his friends being forced to move their camp because of some cowardly douche...He knew they meant no harm...

Raine nodded "o...okay...what do you think is going on here?" she whispered tiredly rubbing her eyes. I would go back to sleep...but i don't want it to happen again. she thought before getting an idea. "M..maybe we should talk...about what our nightmares were..if you feel comfortable.."

"Pi...chu....pi...pichu" Spark said angrily "I'm right there with you" he hadn't had a nightmare but his trainer being so scared was affecting him big time, he kept looking around watching her back as well.

"I think an evil Pokémon, probably one with psychic powers, is trying to scare us away...for no reason..." Murray said, in a serious tone. "Now, let's talk about our nightmares...I think it will help to let it out..." he added

In order to make Raine understand, I'm gonna have to explain a little bit about my past...I can't believe I'm doing this...Hope she doesn't get the wrong idea about me...

"...Let me start with mine..."Murray said to Raine nervously "...I never told you this, and promise you'll never ever tell anyone else about this...People might get the wrong idea about me and...well...here goes...My parents and my sister are members of Team Rocket...They're a criminal gang...and they tried to force me into joining, but I refused and ran away...Anyway...I dreamed they were after me...and I tried to defend myself with Totodile, but my dad quickly defeated him and said I had no choice but to join...That's when I woke up..." he said, sounding a bit agitated, but soon calmed down. "Anyway...tell me about your dream..."

Meanwhile Totodile stood up guard in the area along with Spark, Raine's Pichu, in case the cowardly Pokémon decided to show up.

Raine hugged him still feeling cold despite the summer air. "I won't tell anyone" she whispered before saying hesitantly "I didn't see anything in my nightmare. I never have but, nightmares are worse when all you see around you is blackness" she stopped taking a breath trying to calm herself but failing. "I..heard three voices in my nightmare. Each voice belonged to a different one of you three. T...the f..first..one belonged to Hermione and it said i was useless. T..the second voice w..was.yours saying i'm..w..worthless...the last belonged to Tristan telling me...i should...h..have drowned that day....th.then it felt like i w...was drowning like that day...and the voices didn't s..stop" her voice shook as she spoke afraid that they really thought that.

Iceberg joined Spark and Totodile. "...Pi Piplup..." He said, meaning "...I just hope our trainers are okay..."

Tristan looked at Raine. "..You're not worthless. We would never say or even think that about you, you realize that, right?"
Then he looked at Murray. "Yea, I promise too."

"Whoa, Tristan, didn't hear you coming..." Murray said surprised "I appreciate that you guys keep that a secret..."
He then turned to Raine "And I'd never call you worthless...I wonder how'd that thought get in your mind...It's weird...I mean, I'd never call anoyne "worthless"...I'm not that kind of guy..." he added, still confused and a little sad.

That's really weird...I know! The Pokémon must have heard us having a conversation...and apparently is pretty good at doing impressions...Wait a sec...

Murray's mind then began to drift. He looked like when he had that flashback, but this time an expression on his face showed he was making connections...

...Wait...My dad...didn't sound like my dad at all...it sounded like...a Pokémon! If only I could remember which one!...

"I know...but i've..been told those things in the more recent past" Raine whispered the only emotion seen on her face being sadness. "Tristan...what was your dream about?" she asked softly "and is anyone else freezing?" she added shivering.

"Pi...Pichu." Spark said sadly to Iceberg and Totodile meaning I know mines not.

Murray turned back to reality and heard Raine's last question.

"Yup, it's getting chilly...Here, take this" Murray said taking a jacket from his bag and giving it to Raine. "This should keep ya warm for a while..."

"Totodile...." his Pokémon said to Pichu and Piplup, meaning "Mine's okay it seems..."

Then Murray went back to thinking, searching deep into his mind to try to find out who was the Pokémon that had been haunting him and his friends.

That voice...of that Pokémon...I've heard it somewhere...I'm pretty sure of of...but which one could it be? Think, Murray, Think!

"Thanks" Raine whispered slipping the jacket on as she was waiting for Tristan's answer she thought back to the incident that had been almost like her dream but worse.

Why did that have to happen...I don't know what i would have done if I hadn't finally met nice people she thought sadly.

"Pi. Pi..pichu" Spark said sadly watching Raine. meaning what's going on here why is this happening

One minute passed...

Two minutes...

Five minutes...

Finally, after nearly ten minutes of eager anticipation, Joey frowned and put the bag on his back. The egg had ceased to stir or crack further since he had begun observing it, and he didn't have the time to keep watching it. It would hatch when it did. Even though he was still tired, the pre-teen started walking along the path once again, easing into a jog as he imagined his first gym battle with whatever Pokemon was caged in the egg on his back. The day was wearing away, and he had hoped to reach Cherrygrove before dusk, which probably wasn't going to happen if his map was properly drawn to scale. No matter though, he'd travel through the night if need be. There was surely a Pokemon Center in Cherrygrove where he could rest whenever he arrived, be it 2 in the morning or the afternoon. Yet, another delay was about to strike.

An ear-splitting crack broke the natural silence on the route 300, and Joey skidded to a halt on the trail, ears pricked for another sound. But instead of another crack, a soft whining filled his ears. Immediately he whipped off his backpack and opened it.

A pair a dark yet soft eyes stared up at him, surrounded by dark orange fur with darker orange frills on its head. It whined again. Joey gently set the bag on the ground, excitement pulsating through his body. He plucked the little Pokemon out of the bag, and his eyes grew moon-sized and his jaws dropped once he had all of its body out. It had 6 tails!

---

The Pokedex had told Joey that his partner Pokemon was named Vulpix, and that it knew Tail Whip, Ember and Attract. Immediately he had fallen in love with his Vulpix, who kept lovingly nuzzling his leg and making high-pitched purrs and whirrs as he stroked it. Unlike a baby child, the newly hatched fox-Pokemon was easily able to gallop around. It seemed thoroughly intrigued by the long blades of the grass, which it kept curiously pawing at just to watch them sway as the two slowly waltzed down the route. Occasionally the baby Vulpix would jump onto Joey's knees, begging him to pick it up. And of course he would oblige and carry the little guy, cradling it like a baby and tucking its many tails under his arm. But this never lasted long as the Vulpix would squirm and want down minutes later.

Walking into the sun, no longer alone, Joey smiled to himself and was content to relax.

(I like your posts, Cooker, they're really detailed and nice :) )

"Alright, wel-" Tristan started when Piplup jumped up on top of his head and hanged on to it. That startled him for a second, but it wasn't really a bother.

Tristan pretended like none of that had happened for now, and looked forward to getti- oh, and his friends of course, getting their first gym badge. He got his tent and all his stuff, and put them in his bag and he was ready to go. He waited for Raine, Murray, and Hermione before they went on.
