Pokemon Adventures- Gold and Silver

"Y-you sure?" Tristan asked. "..Oh, Raine is fine. They're taking care of her and Murray, guys. Don't worry. But... I haven- no one has told the police yet. They can't be there already without knowing...
 
Spark rolled his eyes when he saw Tristan didn't even notice Raine was awake and out there so he led her over to him "Pichu pi chu pichu" he said meaning "They knew we weren't wild"

"Oh," Tristan said, seeing Raine. He hugged her briefly. He sat her down in a chair. "What exactly happened back there?" He asked.
(Sorry for the short post, I have to do something)
 
Raine looked down before she spoke "Spark woke me because he saw someone and i was grabbed. I tried fighting back but he knocked me out with some drug... when i woke up he told me he was the one wh..who killed my brother...like i told you i yelled at him and he smacked me then I was trapped in nightmares... one of which...e..everyone i care about d..died" by the end of this Raine was silently crying again and Tristan could see the bruise on her face from when she had been smacked. I'm still so scared! she thought as she cried harder trembling.

"..." Tristan didn't know what to say. He hugged her and said "Don't worry. He's gone now, everything's fine." But in truth, he wasn't actually sure of that. "...I'm not sure if that grunt got arrested or not, but if he ever comes back to try to mess with you again, we'll make sure to protect you. Spark, Me, Murray, Iceberg, Totodile... just to name a few." He told her.
"..And, I would probably tell you not to worry for now, and just rest, but first I wanna know something." He said. "Who's - who /was/ your brother? Why did he kill him?"
 
Raine hugged Tristan back tight still crying. "My brother David...he was all I had. He died when I was seven..." she whimpered at the bad memory and cuddled closer to him where she felt safe before continuing. "Team Rocket was going to try to destroy the Pokemon lab and David heard the plans...h..he told the police who stopped them...I was there when he died...he told me to run so i ran and hid...i..i still heard the gunshots...after that I was al..all alone"
 
While Tristan and Raine were talking, a guy in a wheelchair arrived in the room. He had messy hair and was wearing a white shirt.

"Hey, guys, I'm back!" he said.

The Gastly and Totodile saw him and came near him to hug him (but Gastly licked him affectionately as he couldn't hug). Murray had recovered. He noticed Tristan and Raine talking and he saw Raine crying.

"Is anything wrong, guys?" he said as he approached them.
 
Raine turned her head toward the voice "Tristan asked what happened" she whispered letting go of Tristan and extending her arms silently asking Murray for a hug. I don't want to explain it again if he asks I'll simplify it she thought as Sparks ear twitched. The weather outside had changed and rain was now pouring from the sky. "Attention due to the weather all people must stay indoors until the weather passes" a voice said as an announcement was made through Violet City.
 
Murray hugged Raine as he heard the voice on the intercom.

"Attention due to the weather all people must stay indoors until the weather passes"

That's odd...

"So..." Murray said to Raine in a low register "...Whatever happened to that Rocket goon?"

Meanwhile, Shadow and Totodile were talking about Totodile's suspicion.

"What? You think the cops who arrested the evil man didn't actually arrest him?" Shadow said
"Yeah...I didn't see any police vehicle outside the tower...and those policemen...they didn't look like policemen...they had this...criminal look in the eyes..."Totodile said to him
"Well...if what you say is true...and the cops weren't actually cops...we must watch out...That evil man...he might look for revenge...against us..."
"He better not come near us...Next time I see him I'm gonna kick his behind! And I'm sure Murray will be eager to do the same..."Totodile said angrily
"But we must play it cool...Being hasty won't help..." Shadow said calmly
"You're right...Let's just be happy because Murray's fine...We'll talk about this with the rest of the gang later..." Totodile said and smiled at Murray.
 
"I wouldn't know. Tristan left him under the watch of Spark and Iceberg while he brought me here." Raine whispered her tears slowing. why am i still so scared she thought jumping when thunder was heard outside.

"Next time I see Team Rocket they'll pay for what they did to her" Spark said angrily to Totodile and Shadow he now held a deep hatred for Team Rocket and was planning on being more protective of his trainer. As if she wasn't fragile enough he thought to himself, he had known from the moment his egg hatched that his young Trainer was very fragile physically and mentally as well as emotionally.
 
"...Oh.." Tristan mumbled after Raine told him about her brother. Kind of reminds me of my old friends... "W-well... he's in a better place now. And he's watching you. He's proud. I know it." He told her, knowing for a fact that was the truth.

Then Murray came in. "Oh, hey Murray." He smiled. "Are you okay, man?" He asked, then he heard the announcement. "...Oh come on..." He said. He was really looking forward to taking on the city's Gym. The Gym Leader's name was Falkner. He used Flying types.
"Oh, well..." He said, realizing that it was a good time to show his friends the new Pokemon he caught, Charmeleon. His nickname, Darkfire.
He stood up. "Hey, guys? I caught a new Pokemon earlier today... I want you guys to meet him." He took one of his Pokeballs from his bag, and tossed it into the air. "Go, Darkfire!" The Pokeball opened and the beam of light shot out like usual, but this time the beam of light was shiny, and it formed into a Yellow Charmeleon. He introduced him to all his friends (including the Pokemon) and his friends to him.
 
Raine smiled as Tristan spoke about his new Pokemon. "I hope to catch a Pokemon after the storm passes." she said knowing she wouldn't be able to without help finding one. The rain kept falling outside and Raine couldn't hold back a yawn she still looked so tired but was even more afraid now to sleep and be alone.

"Pichu" Spark said looking up at her meaning "Sleep"
 
"Hey, Tristan. I'm fine. Better now without all that rage, haha..." Murray said to his friend. "And where'd you get that Charmeleon. I didn't know there were wild ones...You must be very lucky, dude." he said

Seriously, where'd he get that shiny Charmeleon?

As the rain continued to fall, Murray's Pokémon greeted Darkfire the Charmeleon.

"Hi...I'm Shadow...and this guy here is Totodile..." his Gastly said to the shiny Charmeleon.
"Yeah, nice to meet you...What's your name, man?" Totodile said afterwards.
 
"Hi I'm Spark!" Spark said happily to the Charmeleon before he looked up at Raine. She looked half asleep her head on Tristan's shoulder. They look cute together Spark thought happily.
 
"Well, I got him at the Ruins of Alph..." Tristan answered Murray. Then he looked away, remembering the event. "I-it's hard to explain..." He noticed Raine sleeping, and he smiled. "Sleep tight..." He whispered.

Darkfire looked around. He wasn't sure what to think. "I-I guess.. my name is Darkfire..."
 
Raine smiled in her sleep glad to be able to sleep without nightmares. Spark looked up smiling before turning back to Darkfire. "Nice to meet you Darkfire and welcome to the group" Spark said extending his paw.
 
"Th-thank you..." Darkfire said, still confused, and shy... then words came to his mind. The voice and words were familiar, but he couldn't point out who said them quite yet. Then it started to come back to him.
...N-no! I-I don't want to remember! Stooop!
He didn't remember who said it, but the voice was clear:
'If any Pokemon were to get in your way, attack them. No regrets. No mercy.'
The Charmeleon, Darkfire, held up his hand, claws sharp, about to attack all the Pokemon. But then he stopped. They weren't getting in his way... he had been so used to attacking every Pokemon he saw.
He didn't want them to know he was about to attack them, so he leaned his already extended hand to the Pichu slowly and shook his paw, as if that was what he was going to do when he started to attack them.
 
Spark smiled shaking Darkfire's hand "no need to be shy your part of the family now" Spark said trying to lighten Darkfire's mood. Every time thunder crashed Spark looked up at Raine's shivering from knowing she didn't like storms at all.
 
A slight smile formed on Darkfire's face. He felt more comfortable than he had in a long time.
Tristan saw that Darkfire was getting along well with the other Pokemon. But, him and both of his Pokemon were getting sleepy, he could tell. He held out their two Pokeballs. "Iceberg, Darkfire, return. Get some rest..."
Tristan looked out a window. It didn't look like the storm was letting down much. Guess the Gym Battle will just have to wait till tomorrow...
 
Spark smiled tiredly and jumped up next to Raine. I'm glad she's sleeping but she looks cold Spark thought watching Tristan call his Pokemon back into their Pokeballs. Glancing outside as lightning flashed brightly it was only a few minutes until the thunder boomed louder than before right over head it sounded like an explosion. Just as that happened Raine jumped awake with a scared shriek.
