Pokemon Adventures- Gold and Silver

Murray was about to hit the grunt again but the latter caught his arm and began to strike back. Murray screamed as the grunt punched him in the stomach, almost immobilizing him. Shadow kept making holes and the balloon was getting closer and closer to the ground.

"Shadow...quickly...help!" he said trying to breathe normally.

"Gaaasss!" he said and spit out Murray's blade, which hit the burner.

"Try to find the Pokémon he stole...and get Totodile...quick!" he said as the goon hit him again and knocked him to the floor of the basket.

"Give up, kid...You don't have a chance against me...Hehehe..." the grunt said smirking.

"No...not until you return the Pokémon you stole...and pay for your crimes!" he said punching the goon in the chest, but it seemed to do nothing and the Rocket grunt punched him again in the stomach.

"Gaaass!" the Gastly said, meaning "I found the stolen Pokémon!" and wrapped them in his gassy body, bringing them near Murray, who was trying to stand up.

"Take 'em back to the guys...quickly..." he said standing up and reaching into his pocket "and tell 'em...to call an ambulance..." he said taking out a firecracker. He began to look at the small propane tanks and lit it.

"Wait a minute kid! What do you think you're doing?! You'll kill us all!" the goon said nervously

"Go, now!" Murray said as he threw the firecracker towards the envelope, and smirked as it exploded as his Gastly left with the Pokéballs and the goon screamed terrified as the envelope set on fire.

"OH MY GOD! ARE YOU INSANE?!" the thug yelled at Murray, who jumped out of the basket and landed on some bushes. "OH NOOOO!" the goon screamed as the basket hit the floor and the burning balloon envelope fell on top of him.

-In the room next to the pokecenter-
"..Riolu?..."
"where are you??!!" she screamed.
Hermione started crying, she had no one else with her - no pokemon, and she didn't know where her friends were.
She saw an Axew, and it ran off.
She then saw a Torchic.
"huh?...go...away...you...pokemon.....just...go..you....can't...be...here......you might....d..d..d..d..die..here..." she spluttered.
(Are we allowed Gen III - Gen IV pokemon?)
 
Red woke up with a start. "whats going on?!?!?!" He said confused just to realize he was alone. "Oh. You okay Phanpy?" Red asked his partner. "Phan" Phanpy shouted in reply. "I wonder where that boy went. Man I miss my dad." Red said wondering were his dad was. His dad left 5 years ago and never returned. "He did say he loved adventuring. Lets make sure we can find him!" Red said jumping up and watched his partner jump on his head. "Lets go catch another Pokemon since I don't want us to be in a bad situation. "Maybe Team Rocket has returned! I mean my dad defeated them and they disbanded, but there is a slight chance there slowly coming back." Red told his partner. Phanpy just sighed. Red began to go into the wild. He had his Pokeballs ready and ran into a Growlithe. "Phanpy use Ancient Power!" Phanpy lifted up nearby rocks and they flew at the Growlithe. That got the Growlithes attention as it charged back using Flame wheel. "Phanpy dodge it!" Phanpy was to late and took a hit to the leg and a summer salt in the air before hitting the ground. "Phanpy use dig!" Red shouted as Phanpy dug under ground and charged up with full speed and hit the Growlithe into the air as it flew back down hitting a rock. It fell on the ground and Red shot a Pokeball. It shook a few times before stopping. He picked up the Pokeball and let Phanpy hop onto his shoulder. He then walked to the Pokemon Center and got his Pokemon healed and saw a girl crying. "Whats wrong?" Red said wanting to be a hero one day like his dad. That meant to not ignore anyone.
 
Shadow was speeding through Violet City carrying the Pokémon that the Team Rocket goon had stolen. He was looking for Tristan, Raine and the rest of the guys. He went to the Pokécenter, but they weren't there. Thinking it was a safe place, he dropped the Pokéballs and all the Pokémon came out.

Totodile ran towards Shadow and asked him what had happened.

"Well...a Team Rocket goon snatched you and all the rest from their trainers...when they were sleeping. When Murray found out you were missing...he went berserk...and we chased down the Team Rocket goon to get you all back..." Shadow explained to Totodile
"What?! Is he okay?" Totodile asked astonished
"I don't know...he told me to get you here...and to tell the guys to call an ambulance...Then I hurried here...but I can't find the guys..."
"We gotta go find him then!"
"Yes...but first let's tell the others to stay here...then we'll go..."
"Good idea." Totodile said and turned to the rest of the stolen Pokémon "Guys, you should stay here. We're going to go get Murray, and we'll be right back!" Then he turned to Shadow "Let's go."

The twosome exited the Pokémon Center and began to look for their trainer.

"I think it was...this way...Stick close..." Shadow said to Totodile, who nodded and followed the gassy Pokémon.

At the distance Shadow noticed something that was on fire. He realised it was the Rocket Balloon!

"Totodile, let's go faster! I think Murray is very badly hurt!" Shadow said and then the two Pokémon sprinted towards the burning balloon.
 
Spark sniffed around and caught his Trainers scent. "I'm going to Raine, Iceberg you can follow me if you want. I have a feeling that Tristan will be wherever Raine is pretty soon" Spark said looking at Iceberg. Raine's scent was close which meant she was in on of the rooms in the Pokemon center. Spark could also tell from her scent that she had been dangerously close to the fire and felt terrible if he hadn't been captured he would have been able to keep her out of harms way.
 
"A-alright." Iceberg agreed and started waddling behind Spark, following him.

Tristan saw Shadow and Totodile pass by. They didn't notice him. He was pretty sure Shadow or Murray had all the Pokemon, and even if Shadow didn't have them, they were most likely searching for Murray. He would find Murray with them, and then return to Raine with the Pokemon and Murray.
"Wait up!" Tristan said and followed Shadow and Totodile
 
Spark followed his trainers scent and found her on her bunk in their room. "Pichu!" Spark cried out while Iceberg heard him yell "Raine!" as he hopped onto the bed. "Spark!" Raine said tears in her eyes as she hugged her Pokemon. "I felt lost without you Spark" she whispered as Spark settled on her lap.
 
Shadow and Totodile ran up to the balloon. They didn't notice Tristan running behind them. Totodile put out the fire with his Water Gun, and then both Pokémon began to look for his trainer in the singed basket. But they only found a scorched man inside it, and he seemed to be unconscious.

"Darn. Where could he be?" Totodile said, feeling sad.
"Don't worry...He's gotta be around here...Let's keep searching..."

All of a sudden they heard something moving in some bushes nearby. Then a voice came from inside them.

"H...help me..."

The voice sounded familiar to them.

"...P...please....I...can't...move...Anyone...Please...H...Help..."

"Wait a sec! That's Murray's voice!" Totodile said. "He's trapped in those bushes!"
"Then let's get him out of there..." Shadow said, and Totodile began to use Scratch to try to tear the bushes apart and set Murray free. "Wait...You could hurt him...I'll do it..." the gassy Pokémon said and wrapped the kid with his gassy body and carefully got him out.

"H...hey...It's you....guys...Thanks...a lot..." he said and passed out. He was badly bruised, his clothes were a bit singed and there were twigs and leaves all over his hair.

"Quick! Let's get him to the Pokécenter! He don't look good!" Totodile said and ran off there, with Shadow carrying Murray behind him. Totodile bumped into someone, and when he looked out he saw Tristan. He waved and told him that they were taking Murray to the Pokémon Center, and that the rest of the Pokémon were there.

And the three of them didn't notice but an arm rose from the burned basket and made a fist.

Spark sniffed smelling Murray's scent and hopped of Raine's lap. "Pichu!" he said helping Raine walk to the lobby followed by Iceberg. Raine heard Totodile and Ghastly and followed the sound "Tristan. Murray" she said worried about her friends.
 
Shadow, still carrying a very hurt Murray, said hello to Pichu and brought him to some nurses who took him to the emergency room.

Totodile watched sadly as they took Murray to the room and looked down to the floor, wishing for his trainer to recover soon.

"I hope he gets well soon too..." Shadow said to Totodile "Don't worry...Everything will be okay, man...Trust me..."
 
Spark looked at them and helped Raine sit down by the other Pokemon. "What happened?" Spark asked worried when he saw the state Murray was in. Raine had the feeling that something terrible had happened but had no idea what. Where are Murray and Tristan she thought worriedly after Spark helped her to a chair.
 
"It's a long story..." Shadow said "...but I'll tell you anyway...You might not know this...but another evil man stole you from Raine...He also stole Totodile from Murray...and Iceberg from Tristan...and a lot of other Pokémon..."
"Wh-what?! Someone stole me?!" Totodile asked worried and surprised.
"Yes. Anyway...when Murray found out that someone stole you...and that that evil person was from Team Rocket...he went berserk...and we chased him as the goon tried to escape by balloon...Then he took out a blade and made a few holes in the balloon, jumped in and gave me the blade so that I kept making holes in the envelope, while he fought the thug..."
Totodile dropped his jaw in astonishment. "Wh-what? He must've been WAY out his mind!"
"He was. I've never seen him that mad. But then the thug began to hit back...and bruised him bad...And then...then he told me to go get you guys...while he tried to keep hitting the evil man..."
 
Tristan walked over to Iceberg and pat him on the head.
"Prinpluuup!" Iceberg said in joy, happy to be back and safe with his trainer.
"Hey Iceberg." Tristan smiled and hugged his Pokemon shortly. "I'm glad you're safe, man." He said. "I'll see you in the morning. For now, get some rest while you still can. Tomorrow is a big day. Our first gym battle." He then called Iceberg back to his Pokeball.

Tristan then sat down next to Raine. "Hey," He said.
 
Raine smiled as Spark jumped into her lap as someone sat next to her. "Hey," she could tell from the voice it was Tristan. "Tristan what happened is Murray okay?" she asked voice full of worry. I'll tell him what I was going to tell him once I know if Murray's okay or not she thought petting Spark as he curled up on her lap.
 
"Then what happened?" Totodile asked, a bit confused about the story
"Well...I found the bag with all the Pokémon...and Murray told me to get them to the Pokémon Center...He then took something out of his Pocket and lit it...Then I left and knew nothing else..." Shadow said calmly. He had a gloomy look on his face
"Whoa! Could it be that the thing Murray lit was what set the balloon on fire?" Totodile said
"I'm definitely sure that Murray set the balloon on fire...using that thing..." Shadow said "But what's important is that Murray is safe now...and that he rescued us all...from the hands of Team Rocket...those evil humans..."
 
Tristan looked down. "..To be completely honest, I'm not sure." He answered. "...Well, that thug took our starter Pokemon. He almost got away with it, if it wasn't thanks to Murray. The grunt was taking off in his hot air balloon when Shadow took Murray up there. I wanted to help, but I don't have any Pokemon that can fly or float yet." He said.
"I'm not sure what all happened up there... but I know the balloon went down. Somehow Murray managed to escape, but injured." He explained. He knew the only question left on her mind, so he just answered her before she asked. "Is the grunt dead? We're not sure yet."
 
Raine nodded as he explained everything. "Murray's strong he'll pull through" she said feeling a little pain, that was the same thing she had said when her brother had been shot and he hadn't pulled through. "I hope" she added in a soft whisper as Spark looked at her feeling her pain "pi pichu" he said telling her it was okay.
 
"Y-yeah..." Tristan replied. "H-" He started, trembling. "H- he has to...!" Some tears formed in his eyes, but he refused to let them out or show them to anyone, so he looked away. He hadn't made friends like these since... that day, his friends and his dad died by... what was the name of that team... Team... Team... Shadow. That was it. Team Shadow.
He felt anger as he remembered that name, but he didn't show that either. Since the age of ten, he refused to show anyone except his self his negative side.
He couldn't afford to lose one of these friends. If he did, well.. he wouldn't know what to do.
 
Raine felt Tristan tremble next to her and did the only thing she could do she hugged him tight. "He'll be f..fine...I don't know how i'd react if I lost you, him, or Hermione... and I'm glad you were there to save me from the fire earlier...i..if you hadn't been there the group would be one short...but it's not and Murray will pull through.." she said starting to cry again as she hugged him.
