    About me:

    Well, I'm new here, but I've got lots of ideas, and believe myself to be an experienced hacker. With some help, I believe I can make this an awesome hack! However, I need some help...


    Hack of:

    Fire Red


    Story:

    You wake up to find a note by the stairs. It says:

    Dear [PLAYER],

    Since you've been begging for a Pokemon forever, your mom and I have decided to get you one for your birthday in a few days. We'll be taking a boat to [undecided] Island to get you a rare species. We'll be back by sunset, the latest. Get well soon, and remember, the T.V doesn't work!

    Love Dad

    (P.S. Go play with our neighbours, or talk to Professor Spruce about raising Pokemon if you're bored. We love you!)

    After you find your neighbour's house empty, and go into Professor Spruce's Lab, he wishes you a happy birthday. The player is confused and then the professor explains that you've been sick for three days and your parents never came back. He entrusts you with a Pokemon and tells you the legend of a Pokemon that may help in your search. Later on in the game, you discover no record of your parents ever leaving... Eventually, you gain access to the mysterious Island they went to, only to find a deadly plot unfolding. The ending will depend upon which choices you make. At certain points on the Island, you will (unknowingly) choose between Evil, Neutral and Good. And the storyline thickens as you make these choices. You will dmeet policemen, researchers, bandits, and many others. And when you do, be prepared to choose between sides. Remember, though, people do not forget these things so easily, so don't expect to be able to change sides very easily. You may find your parents, you may not. But beware when choosing, as you may be playing with yor fate, and your parents. However, sometimes when defeated, you may be asked to change alliances. The future of Pokemon: Agate Version lies in your hands.

    On the mysterious island, darkness and light await. Beware of treachery, from all sides. Don't trust anyone, your side or not. If you find your parents, you may not even be able to trust them. The Legendary Pokemon of Agate Island lays dormant, only to be awoken by the evil mastermind. And in the end, to be victorious, you may have to sacrifice the ones you love so deeply...

    Okay, I added some more of the story (It was a little vague), so I hope its better now.
     
    It will be interesting to see how you do the alternate endings. I'm not sure, but I don't think it's been done before in a hack.

    Starters aren't equal enough, seriously, Ralts and Sneasel? It's obvious which one is better.

    Just a few things to point out:

    - I'm renaming the game Pokemon: Broken Memories
    - Punk Rocker: They're not starters... I was planning on making an in-game event where there are three choices. Depending on what you chose, you are able to choose a Pokemon from a set of 3 Pokemon (thus 9 Pokemon). Ralts was in a set, and Sneasel was in a separate set
    - Ray: Thanks for the offer. I also have a storyline maker, but haven't been able to replace the old one with the new and improved one. I'll do it in the broken memories thread. So now it't time for this thread to die...
