I slowly slipped myself onto Flygon, as she flapped into the air, as Arcanine stuck to the ground, watching the Scyther. "Get going, you. You're to follow Rachel." He stated, as I recalled Lanturn to her pokeball. Of course, any extra comment would have been ruined as something above moved to block out the sun. I looked up, and saw a humongous silver bird blocking the sun. "Wha- LUGIA?!?!" I said in shock.

"What is that... Thing?" I asked, taking to the air after the flygon and the creature, not knowing if she could understand me or not. I held my scythes at the ready. My tone wasn't on of shock and fear, but one of suprise, and anticipation at the thought of a good fight. I wasn't quite as fast as most of my kind, but I coudl take more of a beating, and I wasn't sent into a blind rage every time I tried to fight. That still didn't mean that I didn't enjoy fighting though, because I did.

After a few moments, Flygon repeated his question, and I understood it clearly, and said "That's Lugia, the beast of the sea. Normally he doesn't appear unless the world is on the verge of destruction." as the large bird dove down, unleashing a beam of energy that took down Devon Corp, with just enough time for the people inside at the moment to get out. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore. Flygon reared back, and launched a Hyper Beam at the bird, that just seemed to shake it off.

I began rubbing my scythes together in anticipation, making a sound that was somewhere between nails on a chalkboard, and a scream. I held out my legs behind me, and my scythes up in front, an attack post that struck fear into any pokemon ever unfortunate enough to encounter a Scyther of any age.I let out a schreech, accented by the buzzing of my wings. I wanted to fight this great creature, it would be the most fun battle ever, if possibly my last...

Lugia twisted slightly seeing the attack position, and gave out a loud screech, as it's eyes glowed, intending to use Psychic. Finally, he launched the attack full scale, before turning and charging straight at Flygon and I, slamming into us hard, and the only reason I didn't fall again was because the Flygon had whirled around creating enough force to keep me on. But it was obvious the slam had hurt, very much.

The psychic attack sent me spiraling away, my mind reeling faster than my body. But I straightened myself out, physically and mentally, and dove again. This time, I aimed myself for the neck, and opening my jaw wide, revealing several rows of sharklike teeth, which were soon chomped down around the back of the pokemon's neck in a crunch attack. It was extremely powerful, but if I could get an important bein, or it's spine, then any beast could be taken down...

Lugia roared, but launched another Psychic, launcing an Areoblast at Flygon and I, bringing Flygon to the ground, though I didn't sustain much damage. I could tell Lugia was just trying to get the Scyther off, and increased his attack, landing on the ground so he could launch Hyper Beam upon loosing the Scyther. I was confused. Lugia didn't leave the Whirl Islands... at least, i didn't think he did...

The psychic attack knocked me off of its large neck, but not before my scythes left two long gashes in the side. As I was knocked back several feet, I could see them clearly. They weren't any more than flesh wounds, and nothing vital, but the 'lugia' as they called it should lose a lot of blood, making it a bit weaker before the bleeding stopped. as I regianed control of my trajectory through the air, I fluttered down between the cerature and lugia, running purely on instinct by this point...

Lugia's eyes suddenly glowed red, and a beam of red energy arced through the air slowly to the Scyther. Without thinking, I had knocked the Scyther out of the way, and the red energy surrounded me, and suddenly I yelled in pain, falling to my knees as red energy crackeled over my body. Without a word, the great bird took to the sky, flying away, though I could tell it would be back.

OOC: accepted DP, feel free to start at any time, we're currently in petalburg woods.

IC: As soon as I saw that the bird wasn't just feigning a sneak attack, I fluttered over to the creature, bending down and inspecting her for wounds. It was mainly an instinctual reaction, since I was already starting to think of her as the pack leader, even though I had broken away from my pack shortly before my fight with the other scythed creature. Still, even for this, it was happening extraordinarily fast...

I was breathing hard from the bird's psy attack, and Flygon flew down next to me, watching me. "Never again... next time I'm just going to be smart and let the pokemon take the shot..." I muttered, sitting up. It still hurt, but at least I kept the Scyther from extra damage. I had a tendency to try to protect my pokemon, even though thier job on my team was to protect me...

Aura ran into the Petal Burg Woods. She kenw she'd throw off her old trainer in here. Aura sensed something great in the forest. She sensed Lugia. That was the other reason she chose the forest to hide in. But she now sensed the great bird flying away. Aura frowned at the frantic shouts of her trainer. It was a pity her old trainer had died. She didn't like her old trainer's brother which had inherited Aura. Aura sighed and ducked under a bush. She stopped there, panting.

"If thats how you want it then fine!" exclaimed a boy's voice. Aura heard him walking away from her out of the woods.

"I made it..." Aura said between gasping in breaths of air.

I was suprised at her words, and I looked at her a moment, considering. It was rare for a pack leader to show mercy such as that to anyone, let alone someone just become a part of the group. "Thank you.." I said, placing one scythe dieways on her shoulder, very carefully. It was as sharp as a razor blade, sharper, but only at the edge, everywhere else it was simply a strong, light material.

Aura heard talking a good ways in front of her. Aura, being the curious Espeon that she was, walked slowly over to the origin of the voices. After about 30 seocnds of walking, a Scyther came into view. Aura smiled. Such a rare sight for this area. But Aura smelled a human trainer. She had heard her voice back aways and wondered if the Scyther belonged to the trainer. Aura walked out from under a nearby bush and just into the line of sight of the Scyther and trainer.

"Hello..." said Aura, trailing off a bit. She then raelized that this trainer might try to catch her. Ah well, anything was better then that boy that had tryed his shot at keeping her. Aura wanted to be on a team again.

I saw the Espeon, and not knowing it's purpose, moved the blade off me as I got to my feet, getting out Arcanine's pokeball. I had to be ready, there was no knowing what this Espeon could or would do. Two incredibly rare pokemon found in these woods, either this was my lucky day, or an incredibly unlucky one. "Listen to me, Espeon. She cannot understand a new pokemon's language. If you wish her to understand you, you must use your Psychic powers."

Aura shook her head. How could she have forgotten? Not everyone could understand a different Pokemon's language. Aura attemtped establishing a mindlink with the human. Aura concetrated and began to relay everything she said aloud.

"I'm Aura. What brings you out here? And have you by chance seen Lugia? I sensed it out here." said Aura aloud as she relayed it via her mind to the trainer. The gem on her head glowed a rainbow of colors as she used her pyscic powers. Aura had stopped panting by now and was sitting patiently on the ground waiting for an anwser.

"I came here after capturing the Scyther, and yes, I did see Lugia. He was acting bezerk, so I don't know what's wrong. He left just a few moments ago." I responded, calming down and replacing my pokeball on my belt. the Espeon seemed pretty tame, had to be someone else's pokemon. I kept on my feet though, more because I couldn't be certain the Scyther wouldn't try to suddenly attack me. I had bad former experiences with Scythers...

I waited for a moment, looking at the new pokemon. It was another species new to me, so I sat down, not taking my eyes off of it, not blinking. I needed to figure out what it was like, if I wanted to survive in this place, I had to adapt... So I waited. I could already tell it was psychic, from the familiar tingling in my scythes...

"Berserk huh?" said Aura questioningly while relaying it to the girl. She knew the girl was telling the truth. She could sense that much behind her voice. Aura shook her head. What could have made Lugia go berserk? As Aura mused this over, she became aware of someone staring intently at her. This someone was a Scyther.
"Hm? You want something?" asked Aura as she stared up at the Scyther, her thoughts about Lugia momentarily gone.
