Note: The rules are not final, changes will be made today and tomorrow to simplify this challenge!
What is an Army Nuzlocke?
An Army Nuzlocke contains the same familiar two rules in nearly every nuzlocke
1. You may only catch the first Pokemon you encounter in each new area you explore. (a route or cave for example)
2. If one of your Pokemon faints, you must release* it... ...it is dead.
In this new addition "Army Nuzlocke", all pokemon you find in your adventure gang up to build an army. This army will be broken down into regiments/squads, each lead by a Colonel. If a Colonel perishes, his regiment perishes. Just above the Colonels is your General, the leader of your army.
If your General dies, your army dies, and the challenge is lost.
Your starter pokemon is the General. (More details below)
You will have 4 randomly generated Colonels. ("Finding your Colonels")
2. Select the region of your game
2. Uncheck NFEs
3. Change Generate 6, to Generate 4
4. Generate!
5. The first pokemon (top left) is Colonel1 (meaning this pokemon leads regiment 1), the second pokemon (moving right) is Colonel 2, the third pokemon (top right) is Colonel 3, and the fourth pokemon (bottom) is Colonel4
6. Write down/Memorize all four pokemon with their regiment number
7. If one of the pokemon is a starter or legendary, regenerate 4 pokemon (using same rules 2-4) and replace those pokemon with a non starter/legendary with the same regiment number. (For example; Colonel3 is a bulbasaur, because starters are not allowed as a colonel, I regenerate 4 new pokemon, and use the newly generated Colonel3. If it's also is a starter or Zapdos however, simply regenerate.
8. Confirm that the pokemon generated can all be obtainable before the elite four. If one is not, regenerate 4 pokemon (using same rules 2-4) and replace the pokemon that is unobtainable by a non starter/legendary/unobtainable of the same Colonel number.
Basically, the starting pokemon you choose is the "General", and must remain in the party until you've defeated the pokemon league.
If the general dies, the entire army dies and you loose the challenge. The starter you will select is based off the 5th digit of your trainer ID number, if 1-3 (Grass) 4-6(Fire) 7-9(Water) if 0(Use the 4th digit instead. If also 0, choose the starter of your choice, you're lucky my friend). Name the pokemon GEN (abbreviation of General), a nickname can be placed after if you want, though you'll be limited to fewer characters.
The next pokemon you obtain is a "Colonel". Notice how I say A colonel, there can be more than one, and each colonel is in charge of a regiment. If a colonel dies, his/her regiment dies. A regiment is a group/squad of pokemon assigned to a specific number. This "specific number" we'll call the regiment number. The first colonel you recieve will have the regiment number 1. So name that pokemon "COL1".
The 3rd pokemon you obtain is given a random ranking, based on a randomly generated number. To generate a random number, goto random.org on your browser. Set the minimum number to 1 and the maximum to 10. Once you have your number, check through the (rank placements) below to see which rank your number falls in.[/CENTER]

Rank/Abbreviation
Spoiler:
Private/PVT
-This rank is just filler
Colonel/COL
-Four randomly generated pokemon of the region YOU are in
-For ranks lower than colonel to be in the party, a colonel MUST be in the party with the same regiment number as the lower ranked members
-If a colonel dies, his/her entire regiment must be released
-There is no limit to how many pokemon can be in a regiment
General/GEN/N/A
-The first pokemon you acquire, your starter
-The only rank without a regiment number
-If the general dies, the army nuzlocke is over (fainting in the beginning rival battles don't count)
-Must always be in party
-This rank is just filler

Step by step to help explain the confusion of regiments
Spoiler:
1. The first pokemon you obtain (after starter) is the colonel and given the regiment# 1
2. Every new pokemon caught is given the regiment # of the colonel in party (unless the pokemon is a new colonel), and must be given a random number to decide it's rank (Use random.org and randomize and set min1 and max10)
2. Match the randomized number accordingly to (Rank placement)
3. If the random number is 2 for example, the new pokemons rank is private, so when you go to enter its name type PVT1 (1 because the colonels regiment# is 1, sorry but I love over explaining things)
4. If the number generated is 9 or 10, the new pokemons rank is colonel and leads a new regiment, who instead will have a regiment# of 2 (3 for the next obtained colonel, than 4, etc..)
So to cover another question which may be asked, lets say you have two colonels (reg# 1 and 2) in your party. When you receive your next pokemon which is not another colonel, you can choose its regiment number (choose 1 or 2).
2. Every new pokemon caught is given the regiment # of the colonel in party (unless the pokemon is a new colonel), and must be given a random number to decide it's rank (Use random.org and randomize and set min1 and max10)

To clear confusion with a Colonels death
Spoiler:
Scenario 1
-Obviously you don't want a colonel to die before its regiment members
-If by whatever reason you still have members in your colonels regiment alive in party and your colonel is swapped (to train for example) into battle and fainted, you can't swap to the colonels regiment members (they are considered dead, even if they aren't fainted), so you must
switch to a remaining colonel (if there is one) or his/her alive regiment members, or the general
-If you survive the battle, release the fainted colonel and the regiment members that are associated with as you normally would
Scenario 2
-When you obtain your first colonel and he/she dies before you can get another. The next pokemon you encounter WILL be a colonel.

Compiled Army Nuzlocke Rules
Spoiler:
1. Optional - The suggested level cap is one level minus the next gym leaders highest level pokemon
2. Optional - Change battle style to set
3. The first pokemon you encounter in a new route is the only pokemon you can capture. (This rule only applies when you recieve pokeballs near the start of the game)
4. If a pokemon dies, it must be released
5. If a colonel dies, it self and its regiment must be released
6. If the general dies, you loose the nuzlocke
7. Your starter pokemon is the general
8. The starter you will select is based off the 5th digit of your trainer ID number, if 0(Use the 4th digit instead, if also 0 then 3rd etc...) 1-3(Grass) 4- 6(Fire) 7-9(Water).
9. The second pokemon you obtain is a colonel, if he/she dies and you don't have any other colonels, the next pokemon WILL be a colonel
10. General must always be in party
11. For ranks lower than colonel to be in the party, a colonel MUST be in the party with the same regiment number as the lower ranked members
12. No trading of any kind, unless otherwise to trade evolve one of your pokemon
13. Name pokemon with rank abbriviation with the regiment# right beside ex.. PVT1 or SGT3, you are not required to write a nickname to go along (as you don't have a lot of space to type something creative! However if you had two of the same pokemon with the rank "PVT1", wouldn't you want some diversity in the names?)
14. The 3rd pokemon you obtain is given a random ranking, based on a randomly generated number. To generate a random number, goto random.org on your browser. Set the minimum number to 1 and the maximum to 10. Once you have your number, check through the (rank placements) to see which rank your number falls in.
15. If none of your pokemon can learn a particular HM required to move on, you may catch an "HM slave" (which will not count as part of any rank or regiment) in a route you've already completed. The HM slave can't be used or swapped into battle and must be released once a newly caught nuzlocke pokemon can learn the HM you need.
16. You may hack/glitching/take advantage of a rom or cartridge cheating device, however doing so will end you up in the "Hacked Champtions" section. I'll accept speeding on rom. Savestates, cheats (wallhack, starter changers, that alter gameplay etc..) are considered hacking.
