Pokemon Ash Hasn't Seen?

*sigh*

Who cares if it counts or not. What count is that Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon and Mewtwo Returns are not Cannon. Those are out of the question even if including movies.

The First Movie had Ash's memory wiped cleaned and formatted. He never saw Mewtwo if you think technically.

If you see a Meteoroid crash into earth, and some thing changes the Space/Time continuum and wipe your memory clean, did you really see the meteor after all?

Actually technically he did see it but just does not remember it(if you want to get technical kid).

I saw what I was supposed to do my homework on monday but I dont remember it. Does that mean I never saw it.

That second Mewtwo movie IS "Mewtwo Returns"

Since that movie has a "Made in Amerika" all over it, it's not official. Thus, no events in that movie can be considered part of the story line. Therefore, that movie never really happened. 4Kids and WB probably just got bored.

You can check Bulbapedia.

Yeah srry to say this but........ASH SAW MEWTWO...lol...just because the show was made in America and not in Japan or whatever DOES NOT mean it isn't official, becuase the pokemon comapny still had to approve of the idea, it was still shipped to Japan to look over what America was planning to release...and it still had to deal with Ash's adventure from the FIRST "official" movie, and pokemon in general...so there you go!

now let us plz stop the argument about that and move on...

I do not remember ash ever seeing a Pupitar...I think...

I would like to object to all of the content of this.

Mewtwo, technically and cannonly, was never seen. His memory was wiped in the First Movie and "Mewtwo Returns" is an American movie. Thus, non-cannon and unable to be considered part of the primary series, just like "Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon".

He has seen Feraligatr and Typhlosion on many occasions. They were just background characters.

And Brock owned a Crobat.

Ash never saw Mewtwo.

Don't kill me: why are American movies non canon?

You're confusing "Mewtwo Returns" with "Mastermind of the Mirage Pokemon". This is what bulbapedia says:

The first Pokemon movie (Mewtwo Strikes Back)
Premiered on July 18, 1998 in Japan first seen in North American theaters on November 10, 1999. See https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Mewtwo_Strikes_Back.
Ash and co's memories got wiped clean here at the end of the movie.

Mewtwo Returns
Broadcasted first on the Japanese television on December 30, 2000. Released on DVD in the US on December 5, 2001. See https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Mewtwo_Returns
This is NOT a movie. 4Kids called it a "Movie Adventure", yet it was never shown in theaters. Not in the US, nor in Japan. So you can thank the boys and girls from the 4Kids marketing department for the confusion they created.
This TV-special is thought up and made from start till end in Japan, so this is official as it can get.
Ash and co met Mewtwo in the TV-special and Mewtwo was about to wipe everyones memory clean once again. Everyone including Mewtwo agreed in the end that forgetting things doesn't mean that it never happened. So Mewtwo only wiped clean the memories of those that were outside (Team Rocket, Luna Carson and Cullen Calix). Ash and co still remembers Mewtwo.

The Mastermind of the Mirage Pokemon
First broadcasted in the US on April 29, 2006, and was broadcast as streaming video from the TV Tokyo Anitele web site from October 13 to October 31, 2006. See https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/The_Mastermind_of_Mirage_Pokémon
Like "Mewtwo Returns" this is NOT a movie, but a TV-special. Made upon request of PUSA.

It is debatable if Mewtwo's appearance should count as being seen by Ash in "The Mastermind of the Mirage Pokemon". But Ash already met Mewtwo in "Mewtwo Returns" and still remembers Mewtwo.

So after a long detour the anwser to the question "has Ash seen Mewtwo?" should be "yes".

Oh...

Ok, so I seem to stand corrected. Sue me XD.

Don't kill me: why are American movies non canon?

Because Pokemon is originally Japanese. Thus all mistranslations or foreign works are considered non-canon.
In nearly all cases, the original Japanese version of any particular work is canon over any foreign-language translation (including English). Furthermore, any work that is not based in Japan (and thus not under the general direction of Satoshi Tajiri) is generally considered non-canon (Pokémon Live!, for example).

according to my calculations hes never seen a qwilfish (never trust calculations...)

so far he hasnt seen;

regigigas
arceus
glaceon
leafeon
glaceon
notched ear pichu

plus a bunch more

In the 4th movie commentary, someone says that in the Japanese version Ash and everyone lost their memory (and 4Kids changed this, which they themselves admitted). Does this mean Ash hasn't seen Celebi if he can't remember? :P

Ash saw Celebi in Green Guardian, actually.

I don't think he's seen Entei, Ho-oh or Lugia, correct me if I'm wrong.

@ Aura Ashley: May's Eevee evolved into Glaceon before Strategy with a Smile!, where she went to compete in the Wallace Cup with Dawn.

everyone, remember when gary fought mewtwo in the show? when he was fighting giovanni, did Ash see mewtwo fly away? or did gary just tell them about a "very tough psychic pokemon"
