Pokemon Ash have let go...

    Well, after I thought a bit, I was wondering, what do other people think will become of the pokemon ash have let go, and if they will ever return in a future episode. Decided to see what some people's views are about it...

    Butterfree - He/She is probably dead, as Butterfree die when they mate -.- (I really want to see him come back though xD)
    Haunter - I wouldn't mind seeing Sabrina return with a Gengar at one point =D
    Primeape - I'd wanna see an update on if he became the P1 Champ...
    Pidgeot - Wasn't Ash Supposed to circle back for him right after he beat the next gym, that was what? 4 years ago? :/
    Lapras - I wanna see more of her >.< Lapras of Luxury wasn't enough o.o
    Larvitar - Though he never caught it, I'd still like to see what became of the shyness that was Larvitar.

    Granted he's only let go 6 pokemon, anyone else wanna see them return at one point or another? xD
     
    and Squirtle and Charizard.

    But he can still call on Charizard whenever he wants.
     
    I would like to see Haunter, it was my favorite Pokemon out of what Ash caught, he should have kept it

    ...Keep in mind that he didn't really "catch" Haunter, either...he just brought it along for the (brief) ride.

    I'd actually like to see a lightbulb go off in Ash's brain (or Brock's, for that matter, since he has to go past the forest to go from Pallet to Pewter) and have him go pick up Pidgeot finally...
     
    I know it's off topic, but what about Brock and his Tauros? I'd love to see that happen.

    Larvitar was good angst, love to see him again.

    Yea, I'm still waiting for them to realize Pidgeot.. I get pissed whenever I see another Butterfree and Ash doesn't mention his >.< Like the episode where a boys first pokemon was his caterpie... ash didnt make any reference -.-
     
    Well keep in mind that these of the pokemon are in the theme song(buttefre's are in the japanese one)

    Butterfree and the pink butterfree(japanese version)

    This is Battle Frontier though,Those are the only 1s I saw in there.
     
    I would love to see Pigeot and Butterfree again. Butterfree would come back with like 20 kids XD.

    I guess you could also include Beedrill in that. The Beedrill that he gave Casey.

    They're in the theme song but they dont make a appearance at all.

    I wanted to see Butterfree and Pidgeot back, but meh... Ash seems to have some problem using his old Pokemon.
     
    It'd be cool if that Tyrannitar in the opening sequence of Battle Frontier was Ash's Larvitar and there could be a special episode where it returnsand Ash captures it as a Tyrannitar.

    That would actually be totally awesome, in my opinion.
    I was always fond of 'his' Larvitar.

    He also needs to get Charizard back, and maybe keep him on the team.

    Either ways, it'll be cool to have Pidgeot back (since it being my favourite flying types since Pokemon Generation 1 till now).. and it'll also be cool to see Haunter evolve to Gengar when Ash pops by Saffron City.. ^^
     
    Meh.. it will never happen IMO. The animators have prolly long forgotten about those pkmn. Well, maybe not Larvitar.. but Butterfree, Primeape and Pidgeot for sure, so I'm preety sure we'll never get to see them again. :(

    I've actually been wondering exactly why that Tyranitar was there...

    Actually, that was confirmed (by someone who actually spoke Japanese) to be a translation error.
    They only go away to another location, they don't die..

    It was someone here that corrected me on that a couple years ago.
     
    I want to see Pigeot,butterfree,and primeape together with ash again
    Butterfree has a memorable experience well for me
    that episode makes me cry *still crying*
    and pigeot the only stage 2 pokemon that is powerful that obey him and evolve and still realease it.
