Pokemon ash returns to Kanto

hi i heard in the anime that ash was going back to Kanto and i wanted your guys opinions do you think that ash will get to see people like misty again, or that maybe he will see his pidgeot, maybe rematch Richie, or see his Primape/squirtle again ? also leave your opinions in the comments i want to read them i was so interested that ash was going back to Kanto since i started watching pokemon again from the beginning kinda forgot the episode because i was only like 5-7 lol thanks

Pokemon ash returns to Kanto

For Just 1 or 2 episode !
Its not a big deal , Its happen at the end of every series !

He returns to Pallet Town, not Kanto.
Yeah, Pallet is in Kanto but the important thing is that he returns to Pallet which is his home.

Yeah, at the end of Dekorora he's coming back to Vermilion but only to travel back to Pallet.

As Famon stated, it happens every season.

For example... It happened after Sinnoh when he was parting with Takeshi.

So yeah like they said, Ash isn't really going back to Kanto. He's just putting in his once-a-series visit to his mom. :x There's going to be a Kanto-based special involving Red and Green though, if you want to look into that~
