    Alright guys. I've worked on hacks in the past but Ive decided to make my own.

    This is the basic premise of my game.
    GENERAL IDEA
    You start of in a neighbrohood of a massive city where the game will take place. There will be no othere cities or routes, only one city with interconnecting neighbrohoods. You will get 1 of 3 starters (new starters/types, but no fakemon). You will battle through the gyms and Elite Four and become Champion like other games. but the city idea will allow for new gameplay. Pokemon can be caught in designated parks, coasts, and lakes. This is a basic idea. Story will be added along with media later.
    NEW FEATURES!
    A totally new idea, one city.
    The ability to catch em all, no trading, making a national Pokedex possible.
    New starter Pokemon and types
    New maps
    New Script

    STORY
    You start your journey in your house in a very basic and residential neighbrhood in Nobrac City. You visit your rival and meet your good friend Professer Cedar. He gives you a choice of 3 starters. {Starter edit, I'm working on it!}
    You then take on the annual city Pokemon tournament with the best trainers from Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn participating. Felling doubt in yourself, you resist taking part in the tournament because of your lack of experience. Proffessor Cedar convinces you to win it with your full team of Pokemon. After winning peliminaries, you make it into the tournament, will you win it??? Play the finished ROM to find out.

    Cool, good luck, maybe after you put in images and maybe more information, you could ask a mod to move it to the hack showcase.
     
    Looks good, but Mareep might be overpowered if you have a rival with the type that is strong to yours as Grass is not super-effective to Electric.

    However, Electric is not very effective against grass.

    Right now I have me and a scripter. I really need someone who is willing to map.

    But Hophip is Grass and Flying type. Change it for something else, like a Bellsprout, so that all Pokemon are UU. Even better, TEDDIURSA !!!!

    YAY TEDDIURSA!!!

    I have YAPE, a Pokemon stats editer, I can change Hoppips type to just GRASS.

    Nice game, love the idea. ^^
    But I dont like the starters and as it was said, the triangle doesnt work. I just dont think these pokemon are interesting enough for starters.
    My favourite triangle is fire > Steel > rock but of course its your choice what pokemon you have. ^^
