    Introduction: This is my first hack and ive been thinking of a good story for about 1 month and i finaly found it so here it is pokemon burning crusder

    Hack: Pokemon Fire Red


    Story:Your a villian that works for a team called the combalts you caputure you steal pokemon from anybody. You are the Son or daughter of the combalts leader and now that you are fifteen you can pick your first pokemon and now you can be a member. You have a rival your brother that says he is going to be a better villian then u. So your ready to set off when your dad a.k.a the leader of the combalts messages you and tells you he has a mission for you. You go to his hideout and you find him dead you then look at him and see a scrap of paper in his hand saying :Caputure shadow lugia before team lunar caputures him: You set off on your mission to caputure shadow lugia and take out team lunar with your dads Blazikin or some other pokemon have not decided yet

    Pokemon from platinum
    New worlds
    new people
    No badges but leaders you face
    Missions
    The new region of otoris

    need people that are good with sprites and have good tools i already have some good tools like advance map and advance text.

    The hacked crashed so now im using a fire red rom
     
    The story seems like it could go a long way, if executed right. Could be hard to add in pokemon stealing, though. I heard an idea proposed on a Team Rocket hack (and unfortunately I can't remember right now who said it, or what hack; I will edit it in later if I can) that after beating certain trainers, they would be forced to "give" you a pokemon; which I thought would work out alright.
    And I'm sorry about the rom crash. DX

    Oh, by the way... don't go out of your way to tell people you're new. And when a problem comes up, tell people you'll do the best you can. People don't want to hear, "I'm new at this," right in the beginning of a thread. When you say stuff like that, some people immediately think, "Oh, a newbie, this won't be any good." It makes you sound like you don't think you're going to make a very good hack. But if you're determined, and let people know you're going to do your best, they'll see that you're serious, and then they'll take a better look at that nice idea of yours.

    anyway, advance text is alright, but not reliable.
    You are better off editing the script itself, much more safe, and won't make random glitches

    XSE is a good program, I could show you how to hook it up with advance map if you want, also how to use it. Unless you already know how to.
     
    Interesting concept and screens look pretty good. Will be watching this progress. =]

    Yeah im not good with scripting that much but you can be the scripter if you want

    Me? The scripter?! I dunno about that, I am not that good at scripting, I just know how to edit the scripts with advance map.

    Anyway, if you wanna know how to hook up XSE to Advance map, here is how you do it:

    Get advance map and open it, then open your rom.
    Make sure you have XSE on your computer somewhere
    When advance map has finished loading your rom, do to "edit" or something like that.
    Go down to "choose script editor"
    Choose XSE.
    Then it will ask you a question. Say no.
    DONE!

    Now, when you are looking at the script on a map, and want to edit it, just click on it and then click on the button "edit script", then it will automatically open the script in XSE.
    Its easy!

    The not so easy part is getting the edited script into the game. I can show you that as well, unless you already know how to.

    I know i haven't updated this thrad lately but the alpha will be released in april if i can get the scripting done i will bring new pics soon still working on this hack and want to give you guys good pics and thats all.
