Credit goes to dragon0fangz for the idea.
Goal is to catch all 493 Pokemon in either D/P/Pt or HG/SS. Since I'm nice, I'll narrow the list down to all the obtainable Pokemon, which excludes: Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Manaphy, Phione, Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus. Everyone else is obtainable in one game or another. Keep in mind that you will have to play multiple games in order to catch 'em all!
Rules:
1. Your challenge ends when you have all 484 obtainable Pokemon in one of the cartridges that can do so.
2. Emulators are fine to use, we'll just assume that you would have transferred them over.
3. No cheating devices can be used.
4. Trading is fine, and necessary to obtain some Pokemon, although I would prefer it if you started over all games that you are going to be trading from. For example, on my Diamond Version, I have all 493 Pokemon in one box or another. Its not fair if I just trade them all over to Heart Gold. I would have to restart Diamond.
5. Please post regularly.
6. Have fun!
I will be keeping a score card saved on my computer with the challenger name at the top, any game he is using, and a giant image of all the sprites, which I will mark off when you obtain them in your game. As such, I will need to know who you obtained. So please, in your updates, mention all Pokemon that you obtained in that update, as well as how many you have total, but this does not mean you have to tell me every pokemon you have every single update. This will make the posts too long and annoying to read. So just update like any other challenge, and say something like [35/484] at the end, so I know that we match.
