Hi I'm done with the sprites now so the BETA 3 will come really soon I think, hope you like it:)

the legendary dogs are just going from place to place till you are where you can catch them there just folowing you and trying to help when you are in problems but its not needed en you just folow the places where they are so you know where to move to
 
i'm gonna make the overworld sprites right now. I think i'll have them finished by tomorrow
 
How far does the current Beta go?

EDIT: Might be a good idea to give Misdreavus a different attack or change Poocheyanna into a different pokemon. Misdreavus cant hurt Poocheyanna with psychis attacks, so you can only save Birch with Staryu and Onix

yeah like you know in beta 3 there is a replaced pokemon for misdreaves who you will find out

Well actually, after a few turns the Poochyena will flee, but Pachel said that he replaced Misdreavus anyhow so I guess it doesn't really matter. :/
 
Using the rom base makes the hack look much better than before, pachel. Even though I don't quite like the wooden houses theme, but that's only a personal opinion. Also, there is a screen with a lot of small trees, you should replace those trees with the "bigger" ones, they always look better. And there's another screenie with a lot of rocks, don't you have a second kind of rock? That way it'll become less repeatitive, I think (It's always important to not bore the player with the same tiles)

By the way, what's that dark green stuff in the screenshot with the CUT tree? (Water?, what, is it some kind of marsh?, if it was grass... well, I didn't like it XD)

Well, good luck on the game. It would sound interesting to see the dogs making a plot in the game (not just battling them right away, perhaps we could chase them a few times and after a few tries, they would battle)

yeah that dark green is a sort of gras that was already in the rom base but I will release beta 3 today in IPS
 
Lol, i was suprised by the 3th pokemon choice.
It was good thus far :P

Things I hope that get fixed:
- You and your mom actually going into your house instead into the tree.
- The May battle sprite changing into a misty battle sprite.
- Overworld misty looking more like Misty.
- When walking under a big and/or small tree, a part of the head dissapears.
- In normal dialogue, Brock is still Brenden. Yet in the fight it says Brock.

Hopefully some gym leaders will get a power boost :P I swooped Roxanne with a Lv10 Staryu.
