I've caught three shinies :)

Ariados, around the Resort Area without the Pokeradar (yes, I got lucky)
Zigzagoon, Route 202, with the Pokeradar, got it with a chain of 45, proceeded to get a chain of 49 and then I accidentally broke it
Machop, Route 205 I think (north of Oreburgh City),With a Chain of 41, which I then broke accidently.

Chaining makes it much easier, especially once you get to 40 in a row.
 
My highest chain was 24 with pachirisus, i went on it the other day and began chaining marreps, my tenth mareep was a lvl7 male shiny mareep next to valley windiworks. I was so happy because it is the only shiny ive seen on diamond and pearl without trading for it.
 
My biggest chains are

56:shinx
55:bidoof
50:starly

And my shinies are in my sig.
 
3rd geodude, a shiny. So luck..
 
my highest chain was 28 slakoth it was then broken by a starly i was so proud of that chain. but i like soft resetting better.
 
WAAAAHHH! So many people have Shinies! I feel like a stranger! I don't even know how to acquire one!

For me dumb luck has gone a long way, you'll get yours just eep searching for it and practice chaining, youtube has some very helpful videos on how to chain sucessfully just type shiny pokemon into it although it will take a bit of digging to find because alot of people just post videos of them catching it not the whole chain or offering advice
 
My highest chain was 61 (I was very lucky) and ended up getting a shiny Togepi out of it. I could have gone higher, but it was 3 in the morning and I was tired. Luckily, I got a good nature and ability out of it.

I haven't any shinies, but I chain alot.

39- Spoink
34- Starly

I chained scyther 50 times that is my highest and did not get a shiny one but the first time I went to find a hippopotas and when I went in the cave to find it then I saw that it was shiny and caught it
 
i have found 2 shines on my diamond version
 
yeah, i cought a shinx at chain 7! finally
 
Well I actually haven't a shiny , my biggest chain is 20 with Ponyta, but a Geodude broke the chain....

Thanks for that, I'll look up How to Chain, find Shinies etc at Youtube now.
The Hunt goes on...
Also, them catching Vidoes might help you devise the right plan to Catch the Shiny you want. I'll look them up too.

Well I grew up my tecnique so i can get Easy 20+ in chains. But I don't have any shhiny's .....
 
I found 2 shinies in Pearl. Shiny Skarmory level 56 route 227 found in may 14th [no chain] male, and my other shiny was Graveler and that was last week. I was chaining and found a level 27 male.
 
AT LEAST!! My first shiny: Sudowoodo, after a 40 chain and reset some times the Poke Radar :D now I'm hunting something better.
