I have heard this a few times, though I am curious whether this is just yet another fake.

According to cheatsguru, if you give a master ball to shadow entai, and then use the time flute, somthing will happen, and you will catch celebi.

Though this sounds a little to good to be true. What do others think?

Pffff. I have heard thousands of things like this. Don't you think that, if it was so easy, it would have been known a lot of time ago? Japanese bonus disk, that's where celebi is in colosseum.

Edit: @ Scrodinger: Don't believe crazy histories, guys. F-A-K-E

I guess this applys to the mew one as well.

Though this one is a tad more obvious as it just sounds silly....

    ---------the supposed cheat-----
To get Mew you need Latios, Latias, and Celebi. You also need to purify all the Shadow Pokemon. Then, win the Mt. Battle Challenge with Latios, Latias, and Celebi in your party. After that, trade a Groudon from Pokemon Ruby and go to the ancient relic. When Mew appears, he will be level 100. It does not matter though, because Mew refuses to battle. Just keep throwing Ultra Balls at it until it stays in. This requires about twenty Ultra Balls. When he stays in, you will get an e-mail on Mewtwo.

Oh I have been thinking of buying the jirachi bonus disk from ebay. As it did not come out in the uk.

But I have been hearing that the american bonus disk will not work on the pal version. Is this true?

I honestly don't know why people start rumors like these. The only way to get Celebii outside of Japan is through the bonus disc in Coloseum. (I think) In Japan, Celebii could be found in different ways:

    a) In Pokemon Crystal, with the GS Ball side-quest. Removed in the English version for reasons unknown. Only Nintendo and Game Freak know.
    b) In the Japanese Coloseum, you had to catch and purify all Shadow Pokemon. The last Pokemon you purify should be with the last Time Flute. Celebii will then go to your box like Ho-oh. Once again, removed in English version for reasons unknown.
    c) If I recall correctly, you can download it onto your GBA Pokemon games at Nintendo World in New York City. (I haven't found out if this is true or not. Not much of a problem as I live in NY)

There has been events in the US and amazingly UK (Only for G/S/C though) for Celebi.

Yeah, I was going to say that but I had to do something. Amazingly enough though, Celebii is one of the most neglected legendary Pokemon yet Nintendo doesn't want anyone to have it. It's also a pretty bad type matchup. Grass and Psychic? That invites too many weaknesses for a Pokemon so secluded from the others.

Sorry, but yes. Unless you somewhat mod your GC/Wii (freeloaders, modchips, etc), there is no way to load a NTSC game into a PAL system -sigh-.
