Pokemon: Dark Judgement

Hello there. I have been trying different ideas of hacks, but this one I do end up liking the most so far. I haven't hacked for a while, so all I'm good at is mapping right now. So when it gets far enough, chances are I'll hire some scripters and I'll try to learn how to use PokeScript.

.:Story:.

You live in the region of Barajui. It is currently quite poor, due to an economic crash. Thus, not many things are available. Poke Centers are scarce, and Poke Mart items are over-priced. Thus, not many children become trainers. Actually... There's no official Pokemon Professor. People have to obtain their Poke Dex from beating one of the eight Gym Leaders. The Rockets actually are in control of this region, and they spread propaganda and treat civilians as if they were slaves.

Your tenth birthday has recently occurred, thus as an appropriate gift you were given three thousand Poke Dollars to try and buy Poke Balls to catch your own Pokemon. However, you were to notify the Rockets on the beach that you were to leave. If you weren't to do so and wasn't given the proper ID, you could be arrested.

On the beach, you find a lone Rocket. He says that he is to leave Barajui or die trying. This grunt has leaked information about the Rocket's plan. As such, he is trying to erase all proof that he exists. One step is to give away his most trusted Pokemon. Since you were nearby, he gives you his Eevee and runs off, fearing for his life. Receiving your Trainer's Pass from the Rockets shortly after, your journey begins. But not before questioning what did that grunt do that they're out to kill him for?

Seems like a dangerous place. Like where I like, 'cept from it's chavs not Rockets. Like the new screenies, they're cool.

Well, one obvious thing to remember if you read the storyline is that Barajui IS ruled by the Rockets. I would guess they would either go for communism or dictatorship, so I chose the latter. So expect to see a lot of Rocket trainers.

I might use Sappy to insert some D/P or R/S/E music, but that's for later. Currently, I'm planning a design for Viridian City which is now named Nagame City. Actually, I might plan a rocky, mountainous environment. It might fit with how the forest is now a cave...

Sounds good. Can't wait. Rocky/Mountain enviroment sounds cool, Game Freak never seem to go for that kind. Seems very interesting.

Very interesting story here. Good screens, besides any early errors/bugs. This looks like something I'd be very interested in being a part of, or at least playing.

The whole "mugging" thing, i dont know but it sounds kind of childish? But that is nothing against the hack, it looks very good. Im very impressed with those trees, good work. Also, good story line. I will keep an eye out on this one.

Well, things like killing are pretty much never found in Pokemon games (except for the Cubone incident)...

Yeah, looks like an amazing hack. I know you're not accepting people in yet, but take me into consideration when you do. I know how to script, map and I can design custom and supporter uBars etc. Also, I have an idea for you, but I'll tell you in a PM. (Don't want other people to come along and steal it now, do we?)

Nvm bout that idea, it was pretty lame :P

Excellent storyline - one thing though. At the end of your storyline you leave us hanging by asking the question 'But what did that grunt do that they're out to kill him for?'. I think its already previously answered earlier in the storyline when you say he leaked info on how to catch a legendary.

Anyways, good luck, can't wait for this.
