Pokemon: Demons in paradise

Status
Not open for further replies.
Attention everyone I'm allowing 24 hours for the completion of all SU's and then we will begin. The time now is 2:35 PM (GMT) if every thing goes to plan then I will have the first post up tomorrow night.

Ahead of Anton the sun hung low in the sky, giving it a red glow, in the already darkening forest around him, lights waved as Pokemon that produced light moved through the woodland towards twilight meadow. In the dull undergrowth consisting of mainly ferns and long grass Anton made his way forwards to wards a growing mass of light and noise. A slight pang of hunger hit Anton as he neared the base of the hill, he hadn't eaten much since the demons had arrived on the island, panic that had blossomed in the native Pokemon had caused a shortage of berries and he hadn't had chance to hunt. Now with the meeting only an hour away "protection" was already in place, before any mass meeting of different species of Pokemon, from the time the sun was at the top of the sky until the same time the next day, the hunting, killing or otherwise harming of any Pokemon is strictly forbidden. It was almost what you would call a law amongst the Pokemon and the punishment was severe it could range from life long exile to death. This was a problem for Anton since right now he would have happily traded a bush full of berries for a single Pidgey egg or the scraps left by a pack of Hoondoom, but right now it was too late to go hunting so he continued onwards. As he approached twilight meadows a number of figures lurking in the shadows came into sight, but it was nothing to worry about it was only the guards that had been positioned round the meadow in order to warn of any threat.

Anton pushed his way through the crowd until he found a relatively comfort spot amongst the hundreds of Pokemon in the field, the verity of Pokemon here was amazing species, there were Pokemon from the woodlands, the mountains, the grasslands and even some ocean going Pokemon. Many of them had traveled up to a hundred miles to get here, many more would still be on there way. Looking up at the tree that marked the center of twilight meadow Anton saw the elders, Parasect, Shiftry, Alakazam, Noctowl and Golduck, Anton recognised them but didn't know their names, along with them were the three champions Justice, Karma and Misfortune a Exploud stood nearby to present their discussion to the crowd. The sun shined through the branches of the tree casting finger like shadows over the crowd, it wouldn't be long now until the meeting started, nothing to do now but wait.

(OOC: OK the RP will start with the arrival of everyone at the meeting.)

Oliver's days always began with a lethargic stretch from within his den, a Spelon berry from one of the plants he had outside, and a quick shake to remove all of the Pidgey down from within his fur. Today was no different. He turned his head in many directions and sniffed heavily before he left the safety of his home to make sure there were no potential predators about. Though Meowth weren't often at risk due to their speed and razor claws he didn't want to risk it. When he determined the world above to be safe he climbed out. The sunlight felt good on his creamy fur, but his stomach twisted with discomfort. The prospects for the day were not bright. Though he had not seen them himself, there was talk of demons on the island. What sort of demons would come he didn't know, but he isntinctively feared them. Some whispered that they could be related to the creatures from the kids' fable, The Slavers. But that was just ridiculous. There must be a rational explanation, and surely the elders knew it. That was why after a quick drink and greeting to his mates he began his trek to the mandatory meeting for the entire isle over these creatures. Maybe some light could be shed on the happening, and his fears could be put to rest.

The lack of natural order among the inhabitants of the island that day was unnerving, at least to Oliver. When he passed a Glameow it didn't even glare, and a group of four Houndour didn't even attempt to chase him. They must have been just as frightened as he was, he reasoned.

He lived fairly close to the place where the meeting was to be held. He wormed his way between Pokemon left and right, and when he could climbed up in a tree nearby so that he could get a good view. Getting down would be difficult, but he'd fall off that tree when he came to it. For now he needed a vantage point so that he would miss nothing.

There were many advantages to being small Sawyer mused as she darted through a crowd of Pokemon, her tiny and compact size had made it extremely easy for her to navigate through and under a lot of the other Pokemon they were all headed towards the meeting area, there were many things to discuss about these strange new creatures that had come to their home. Sawyer for one was amazed at how civil everyone was being, no one was fighting or doing anything that could endanger anyone's life though it was understandable, now was not the time to be fighting one another, they all needed to band together if they were going to take care of these demons. Leaping onto a nearby Torterra, who she recognized as Mr. Terra, a resident of the forest, along with his children Turt and Tory a Turtwig and Grotle respectively whom she often spoke with, Sawyer weaved through the mini forest on the hulking tortoises back until she landed on its head, her ride would've gone smoothly had Torterra not been partially blinded by Sawyer's 'cape.'

The Torterra shook its head to clear its view and and grunted, its red eyes trailing up to catch a glimpse of purple, the walking mountain blinked before speaking up his voice booming in the little mouses ears "Sawyer? Is that you?" laughing nervously Sawyer inched her way to the edge of Torterra's head, bending her neck slightly at an angle so she could look the Torterra in the eye "Ehehehe, hey Mr Terra sorry for bothering you but you don't mind if I catch a ride to the meeting do you? Mom and the others left me." Terra rolled his eyes and sighed "Not at all Sawyer, just keep that scarf of yours out of my face " Sawyer grinned and gave a small thanks before scurrying towards his neck, she propped herself up against his back, fiddling with her scarf, their trip to the meeting grounds silent. It didn't take them long to get there, a lot of Pokémon covered the area, some she recognized others she didn't, Sawyer glanced around for her family while waiting for the meeting to begin, surely a pack of Raticate and Growlithe shouldn't be to hard to spot.

Goka really had no idea that the arrival of these new creatures was of such importance. He, some of his family and countless other pokemon were all headed to Twilight Meadow for some sort of big meeting. He was travelling alongside two of the clan's Infernape - and his mother and father were not too far behind along with a number of Monferno. Goka was infact the only Chimchar there - apparently the others were too young to be dragged along. He was going probably because of the others' high expectations of him...

Walking began to grow tedious, so Goka hopped up onto a rock, and then bounced off onto one of the many trees dotted along the way. He strolled along the branches - weaving above and below them, swinging from one to the next. At least this was slightly more interesting.

As the clusters of trees slowly dissapeared, Goka was forced to the ground once more, walking amongst the Infernape. No more than a few feet away he could see a few Seviper all heading the same way as he was. He looked at them causiously,

"Don't worry Goka," said one of the Infernape, looking down to him, "there are some strict new policies in this area. It's forbidden to attack another creature - what with the new threats and all..."

"...Hmm." Goka replied. There was no doubt - no risks were being taken at all.

Eventually, Twighlight Meadow came into view. The plain was huge - stretching out for several hundred yards in diameter. Luckily, the clan had arrived in good time, and found a relitavely large tree not too far fom the giant tree in the centre - where some elders were already standing. Being monkeys, the clan took no haste in climbing up the tree and perching themselves on their newfound podiums. Goka sat near the top to get a relitavely good view.

At a surprisingly fast rate, the numbers and different kinds of creatures in the plain grew and grew. Goka realised just how important this gathering was.

The sun was already high in the sky when it woke the small fire-lizard Pokemon laying on his stomach at the base of a tree. Slowly, the Charmander opened his eyes, sighing before shutting them tight and rolling onto his side. Waking up was never one of Tobias' strong points, especially considering how far he had traveled. Having the meeting place so far away from where he was had been a pain. Not only did he not know anyone (he hadn't traveled through the area before) but also, it got increasingly harder to find a safe place to sleep. The only reason he had come here in the first place was the off chance he would be able to find someone he knew. Although he also was curious of the accounts of the so called "fiends" that appeared on the island, somewhere deep down, he felt as though the whole thing was just some hysteria. Probably just some Caterpie that got scared of its shadow.

Tobias groaned, finally sitting up. Almost immediately, his clawed hand darted up to his neck. Slowly, he ran it across the scar, responding with the same depressed feeling every morning. He always wished the blemish would disappear, but every morning he was met with disappointment. He briefly thought about something to put over it (the same thing he thought every day) before looking around. A few hundred feet in the distance, a Meganium and its family were walking in the direction of a nearby forest. He got up, grabbing an Oran Berry he had gathered last night, and following the group at a decent distance.

As he followed the family through the forest, Tobias couldn't help but notice how the quantity of Pokémon increased as they traveled further. All of them were traveling to the same place, And all by different ways. It would've been amazing if the Charmander cared. His stomach growled as he trailed the others. He clutched at it with his hands. He honestly thought the Oran berry would tie him over, looking back, it seemed stupid. His brother always told him to be prepared, and now he wished he had been. The Charmander's mouth watered as he watched the Pidgey fly above. He would've died to have a meal like that at the moment. However, along with the Pidgey was also its evolved forms, which he had no doubt would tear him to shreds.

When he finally reached the grounds of the meeting, he was immediately taken aback by the sheer amount of Pokémon. There must've been hundreds of different species there, all waiting for the same thing. Almost immediately, Tobias looked for anyone he might recognize place to stand. Aimlessly, Tobias wandered through the crowd, hoping for any sign.

Oliver's paw dangled off of the branch he perched on as he idly waited for the remainder of the Pokemon to join the group. This was tiresome and it seemed to be pointless. He could have been spending his morning catching Pidgey for breakfast and collecting more down for his thicket. It needed some, anyway, and the old needed to be disposed of or cleaned. Dirt particles were clinging to the silky soft feathers and small blades of grass had worked their way in. They poked Oliver's skin when he finally crawled into bed at night and woke him up.

A glance down caught a lone Charmander wandering aimlessly, as though looking for a place to stand. A Pokemon so uncommonly seen as that may not have family here, he registered. Feeling sympathetic he called down from his branch, "You can come up with me if you like."

I hope im not to late, I'm looking forward to this.

Name: Kitoran (or Kit)

Species: Pikachu

Gender: Male

Age: 14

Appearance: He is like any other pikachu, with minor diferences. He has three brown stripes on his back instead of two. The black marks on his ears are ended in a jagged line instead of a straight line, the jagged line is like a lightning bolt, it goes out and down then back and up a little and repeats all around. he has blue eyes, and his cheeks are a little lighter than most pikachu, but only barley noticeable. He whears a necklace with a little container as a jewel on his necklace. The container is a hallow and wooden cylinder painted red, holding two hairs of two diffrent pikachu.

Personality: He is happy and is exided about making freinds, although he has none at the moment and tends to be a little annoying. By happy I mean hyper, but in a good way. Ever since his family and freinds died he has been wanting to cheer up anyone who is down because of the trama that he whent through and doesn't want anyone to feel like he did.

Kit likes anyone who is happy and causing happyness. He absolutley hates bullies and people who are mean for the heck of it. His favorite color is red, and he absolutley loves Grepa Berrys and anything sweet or sour. He likes to fight for to protect, but will ocationaly will fight for fun, as long as his opponent is in it for fun too. He thinks he is a good fighter and stradigist, but will sometimes slip up in the littlest or stupidest ways. He also loves to climb trees and play childish games.

He likes to have something to remember someone by ,or somewhere. when eating he tends to talk to himself and reflect on things. When he was a pichu his favorite game was capture the flag, and he was the best at it of who he knew, so he's good at stealing, hunting and he can doge realy well. When there is lots of sound around him his ears twich alot, same thing with smells and his nose.

When he first heard of the humans coming he imedeatly wanted to know their intentions and if they where good or bad. If they had good intentions he would welcome them to the island. If they had bad things in mind he was going to stand against them and fight to keep the island safe. He also wondered what they looked like and if they where another type of pokemon and what type they might be.

History: When Kit was a pichu and about 5 years old he lived with his mom and dad in a tree amongst other pokemon that he had befreinded. Exept for one. There was a mankey that always reeked havoc on his trio of him, a plusle named Shara, and a bulbasaur named Sauras. Kit would stand against the mankey and fight, but was only beaten down by its Karate chop. One day the mankey's father caught him and used focus punch on him as a punishment. They never saw him again.

Then when Kit was 10 and evolved to pikachu there was another bullie, this time a charmander. Things got so rough with them that the charmander made wild threats about burning Kit's tree down and hunting him down. Kit thought this threat was made just to make the charmander look tough. But it was not the case and when Kit was out colecting berrys for dinner when he saw in the direction of his tree a fire, when he got back he found his tree burnt down and his parents dead. In the remains of the ruin he found a little wooden container and a string. He made a neclace out of the peices and got two non burnt hairs from his mom and dad and put them in the container, then he walked twords nowhere.

After a couple of years when he was 13 he finally made it somewhere. A little town. As he mopped around in the town he saw a familiar face, he walked up to the Ivysaur and asked "Sauras?". It was Sauras and they proceded to become travling partners and ended in a village where they learned about the humans coming and Kit was going to the meeting and separating, hopefully not forever, from Sauras.

As he pushed his way through the crowd, Tobias' stomach again growled. Trying to ignore it, he continued his search uninterrupted. So far, he had come up with less than nothing; the chances were slim, but he still had to try. However, the hunger was starting to get to him. Tobias took a break for a moment, staring blankly into the sky. How he missed the days at his old home. He would've never had this problem before. To make matters worse, the easy meal he had so foolishly missed yesterday also came into his mind. The Bidoof had been so helpless, and yet he settled for berries. The flame on his tail burned hotter as he remembered. Recalling he was in a crowd, he rapidly gained control of his emotions, shaking off of his day-dream. Again resuming his search, Tobias squeezed past a Torterra and his family and continued onwards.

He hadn't gone far when a voice rang out. "You can come up with me if you like."
Tobias glanced around side to side, searching for the voice. After a few moments, he had the bright idea to look up. On a branch above him was a Meowth with its front paw hanging haphazardly over the edge. The Meowth's ears were semi-folded over, as though it had never fully grown out of it. Not only that, but the body shape suggested The Pokémon was a female. However, the voice was un-mistakenly male.

Tobias turned to the right, smirking so that his "fang" showed over his lip. "No thanks. I'm not really the best at climbing." He shouted back over the crowd, beginning to walk away. Suddenly, as if he remembered something important, he turned back around and faced the Meowth. "But if you see a Charmeleon around, tell him 'You can't ditch Tobias.'." With that, the Charmander disappeared back into the crowd. <I'm going to surpass him.> His thoughts turned sour as he walked away from the Meowth, baring his teeth as he continued on.

Oliver shrugged. "Suit yourself. I hope you find somewhere, I know it's getting pretty crowded."

The lack of sleep he had the night before was beginning to wear on him. He had stayed out especially late, gathering berries, shiny things, and catching bird Pokemon and small mouse types. Common sense dictated with a gathering so important as this the following day he probably should have turned in early, but he'd done quite the opposite. So with a huge yawn he rolled over on his back, exchanging his hanging paw for his head to hang off the branch. Looking at the world upside down made it more interesting, and therefore more reason to stay awake. Besides that all the blood was rushing to his head, giving him the appearance of a shy blush. He would have to sit up soon, but not yet. He was enjoying himself too much. After all, if everyone was going to be taking their sweet time getting there, why shouldn't he enjoy himself?

"Well, this is easier said then done" Sawyer was standing on her hind legs, scanning the area for her family, I mean finding a cluster of Raticate and Growlithe shouldn't be too hard. The only problem is, that she was too short and so was Mr. Terra, the mountainous Pokemon, while a lot bigger and taller than her, was still not tall enough for her to see over the tops of all the other humongous and giant Pokemon there, like the family of Blastoise or Meganium or Snorlax. "Ohh it's no use, I'll never find them if I stand around here, I need to find someone taller to stand on" Sawyer glanced around the area she was currently in, there had to be someone tall enough... a flash of orange entered her line of sight and Sawyer briefly saw a Charmander wander by, she shrugged to herself it was uncommon to see many Charmanders around these parts but considering the situation she didn't think much of it, shaking her head, Sawyer looked around some more.

"Primeape?"

No.

"Machamp?"

No.

"Tropius?"

N-- Yes!

Sawyer craned her neck upwards to gaze at the fruit bearing giant that made its way to stand beside Turt, the little Turtwig in response skittered under his father's leg. Sawyer grinned, it's head would be perfect for seeing over the tops of the other Pokémon! Now all she had to do was get its attention, bouncing from Mr. Terra's head to one of Tropius leafy wings, Sawyer began to climb her way up to its back and began tapping near the base of its body, where its neck was connected "Hey! Excuse me! Hey! Hey!" The Tropius glanced left and right, before flapping its wings, producing a mild Gust, where was that voice coming from and what was that mysterious tapping noise? Sawyer had to dig her tiny claws into Tropius' back to keep from being blow off, but that wasn't really a bright idea because Tropius didn't like that feeling and instead of doing the smart thing and looking around to see what was irritating it, Tropius flapped its wings harder and produced an even stronger Gust, that sent poor little Sawyer sailing high into the sky, the Rattata didn't know what to do when she suddenly began falling at quick speeds.

"Woaaaaaahhhhhh--omph!"

"Honestly Sawyer, you can't ever seem to stay out of trouble" a familiar voice murmured placing Sawyer down on a nearby tree branch, unbeknownst to the duo that there was another Pokemon preoccupying on the same branch "K-Kat!?" Sawyer blinked and stared up at the Butterfree that hovered beside her, how long had it been since she spoken to them, let alone seen them. A week? Two? What did he want and why did he save her? Her confusion must've been evident on her face, because Kat laughed and gave her a small smile "Oh quit looking so lost. I was just in the area, minding my own when suddenly I see you in your scarf being blown high into the air by an irritated Tropius, I couldn't just let you fall to your doom like that."

Sawyer huffed indignantly and turned away, it seemed to her that Kat was implying that she couldn't handle things on her own "Well For your information, I was doing fine by myself, I didn't need your help" she growled, her fangs bearing slightly Kat looked taken back he cocked his head curiously to the side "Woah, what's with all the animosity? I thought we were friends?"

"Friends? Hn, I was under the impression that we weren't friends anymore, considering the fact that you and Zappy nearly left me a few weeks ago!"

"Oh, you're still hung up on that?" Kat rolled his eyes and sighed "Look Sawyer I'm really sorry about what happened that day, but you've gotta admit, we wouldn't have even been in that mess in the first place if you had just kept your mouth shut." Sawyer scowled angrily at the Butterfree "Oh, so now its my fault?"

"When is most of the stuff that's happened to us isn't. I mean, everyone knows you're the reason why your Dad got caught."

Sawyer let out and indignant screech, how dare he speak about her father that way! "Why you dirty rotten--!" Kat quickly cut her off, he didn't have time to argue with the temperamental Rattata at the moment "Look Sawyer, I don't have time for this, I've gotta get back to my family before the meeting starts and maybe you should find yours too, see you around." With that said Kat took off, leaving a seething Sawyer to stand on the branch glaring at his floating figure in the distance "It's not my fault..." she mumbled softly before reaching around to grab at the tattered scarf around her neck, it was the only thing she had to remind her of her father "It's not..."

(OOC: I hope you don't mind, but I made a tiny change to Sawyer's SU, her Father is a Growlithe instead of a Raticate and she has a couple of Growlithe siblings is all. >_> Also, Happy Thanksgiving!)

(OOC: Before I start my post some I have some GM duties to attend to. Zmajevi has not altered his post since I asked him to do just over two weeks ago, I am going to say that I don't think he is interested any more and remove him from the reservation list. pikakip and TimelessParadox for now you are fine but I would like your SU's completed in the next week. Nokyo-chan a spot will be reserved for you, post your SU up as soon as it is done. Sandeon your Su is fine, you are accepted I'll add you to the list right away. ShadowYashi, no problem so long as you let me know and it doesn't contradict anything you have already said in a RP post you can change any minor detail of your SU you want. Also at this point I wanted to say to everyone keep p the good work.)

More and more Pokemon gathered in the meadow as the dusk drew nearer, it was starting to get cramped in the field and many of he newer Pokemon their had resorted to climbing trees round the outside of the meadow and watching from a distance. Not too far away from Anton a group of Snorlax were greedily eating berries, they were taking great heaps full of cherri berries in their hand and stuffing them in their mouths, not caring about the berries that they dropped to the floor, they were one of his favourite too, they shouldn't go to waste like that. Despite the bad eating habits of the Snorlax this made Anton surprisingly hungry, he thought for a second and then chuckled to himself, it surprised him that the Snorlax were here, this meeting must be important after all. It only took him a couple of minutes to pick his way through the crowd to the Snorlax, he planned to pick the berries that they dropped and have himself a feast. He was soon munching away on the berries and it was going quiet well until a fat little Munchlax came round from behind the nearest Snorlax, it was busy rubbing it's stomach like it was hungry even though a bright red face covered in cherri berry juice and a mouth full of them told a different story. It looked at Anton who was eating it's cherri berries and tears began to form at the corners of it's eyes, this is bad Anton though to himself and before he knew it the baby Munchlax was crying.

"What wrong Chesto?" A deep slow voice asked, just like Snorlax Anton though they named them selves after food.

"Mummy that Ekans took all my berries off me." The Munchlax cried making more noise than it had been before.

"No I didn't know..." Anton started to say but he was quickly cut off.

"I'll show you what we do to thieves." The "mummy" Snorlax said and then began to roll over. As quickly as he could Anton began to flee, a Snorlax's roll out could be lethal and he didn't plan on being killed by a Pokemon that was so lazy it only got up too feed that would be far to embarrassing. He was quite lucky in some respect as the crowd stopped the Snorlax from rolling over more than once, the ground shook as it stopped moving, it shouted several rather unpleasant threats at Anton who was still running away and then went back to eating. After that little incident Anton was at least a little bit less hungry, it was only then that he realised that he was right next to a tree, it was probably the safest place to hide from the Snorlax should they come after him again. He quickly climbed it, near the top of the tree was a girl Meowth.

"Hello." Anton said to the Meowth trying not to surprise it at all.

(OOC: Strikit I don't think I need to say that it isn't actual a female Meowth it's Oliver.)

Oliver's tail swished idly as he sat up, head tilted. The scents and sounds of all these Pokemon gathered in one place were overwhelming. It almost made him want to cover his ears and his nose, but that would be impolite, suggesting he found one of his neighbors distasteful. That was not the case at all; he'd never been exposed to such a sensory overload.

He was slightly surprised to hear a voice nearby, obviously directed at him for the close proximity. He turned to face his visitor and discovered it was an Ekans. Whilst most Pokemon might be afraid of the serpentine poison type, Oliver knew now was not the time to go hunting, and anyway Meowth and Ekans were not natural enemies.

"Good day to you," he said good naturedly. "It is a rather good day, too. The weather is fair for such a large gathering. One could only hope it wouldn't rain, that would surely make it much more unpleasant." He moved over on his branch to allow the Ekans more room to stretch, thinking such a long fellow might like the space.

"I'm Oliver, by the way. I don't have any nicknames, at least that I know of, so you can just call me that."

(OOC: Quick question: How do we level up/evolve? Will it come after a certain amount of posts?)

"Who was I kidding? It's like finding a needle in a haystack" Tobias muttered, fighting his way out of the crowd. It was hopeless, in the huge crowd, he didn't have a chance of finding someone even if he knew they were there. Not only that, but the smell and other scents had just become too much for him at this point, especially after walking past that family of Skunktank. The amount of Pokemon began to thin as he reached the outskirts of the crowd, much to his thanks. He momentarily thought about leaving the ceramony, but figuring since he had traveled quite a ways, might as well and stay to see what the others had to say about these "Demons".

A tree sitting so peacefully within the mob caught his eye. As a sense of calmness fell over Tobias, he walked over to the tree and sat down, careful not to catch the tree on fire with his tail-fire. A gust of wind blew from the crowd, and to Tobias' displeasure, bringing the mixed scent of the crowd back towards him. He turned his head in disgust, covering his nose with a clawed hand.

It was only then he heard voices coming from the tree above.
"Friends? Hn, I was under the impression that we weren't friends anymore, considering the fact that you and Zappy nearly left me a few weeks ago!"

Intreiged, Tobias uncovered his nose and looked up, seeing a Butterfree and a Rattata talking above him. The Butterfee looked nothing special, but the Rattata seemed to stick out. It (She) had huge whiskers which only looked bigger compared to it's less then normal size. A tattered scarf hung around her neck, hanging slightly over the branch.

"Oh, you're still hung up on that? Look Sawyer I'm really sorry about what happened that day, but you've gotta admit, we wouldn't have even been in that mess in the first place if you had just kept your mouth shut."

"Oh, so now its my fault?"

"When is most of the stuff that's happened to us isn't. I mean, everyone knows you're the reason why your Dad got caught."

He scoffed at the Butterfree's statement, inadvertently spurting a stream of fire at the ground. The fire immediately took hold on the grass, making Tobias race to put it out. Within a moment on hitting the ground, the fire was reduced to nothing but smoldering ashes. He sighed, it was such a pain to be in a forest. With that aside, he closed his eyes and continued to listen.

"Why you dirty rotten--!"

"Look Sawyer, I don't have time for this, I've gotta get back to my family before the meeting starts and maybe you should find yours too, see you around."

Looking back up, Tobias saw the Butterfree flying away, leaving the Rattata laying on the branch above. She was grabbing on to the scarf, almost as if it was the last one on the earth.

"It's not my fault..."

He couldn't help but feel bad for the Pokemon. From what he had heard, the Butterfree was he friend, and yet. Without really thinking, Tobias spoke in the Rattata's general direction. "Wow. What a jerk." Realizing he had spoke aloud, he quickly and flusteredly continued on. "I mean, that seems kind of... " He paused, trying to find the right word. "...exaggerated. Am I right?"

I was running as hard as I could. "I dont want to be late to this stupid meeting!" I yelled as I ran, tired and frustrated. In the darkness I could see the site of the meeting, or at least I hoped it was , I was still to far away. My neclace rapidly beat against my chest. Then I thought of the charmander. That did'nt help his mood. If he was at his tree when it burnt down, would he have been able to help his parents live through it? And what about Shara and her family? Did they survive the fire? Then another thought floated into my head, would I see Saura again? I kept running, I was colse egnoufh to the site that I was about to be able to make out faint figures. I convinced myself that me and Sauras would cross paths again. I was getting way too tired, so much that if I stopped I thought I would pass out.

As I was running I saw a plump red tamato berry and ran over to it. When my head was directly over it I grabbed it in my teeth, i'd allways been good at that kind of stuff. When I stopped I would eat it, i I could still move by then. I was so tired that the only thing keeping me going was the momentum. I had made it though and spotted a tree that seemed to have two pokemon in it, one was a creame color and the other he made out to be a Ekans, but he wasn't shure, he was so tired that things where blurry. Then he tripped and fell face first under the branch where the two pokemon where. He was dead asleep, with tamato juice splatered all over his face.

Sawyer sat fiddling with her scarf, thinking about what Kat had told her only a few moments ago "I mean, everyone knows you're the reason why your Dad got caught." A frown appeared on the Rattatas face, it wasn't her fault, if it was anyone's fault, it was theirs! They were the ones who had left her and made her feel all upset! They. . . They were the ones who distracted her, if it weren't for her thinking about the,. She would have been more alert and that stupid demon wouldn't have attacked her with that traitorous Machop and her dad wouldn't have had to come and save her if that Machop and its demon had just left her alone.

It's all... their fault.

It's all their fault and that's that.

Sawyer's frown slowly disappeared and her eyes lidded slowly. It was all their fault right...?

"Wow. What a jerk."

"Huh?" Sawyer blinked and glanced to her left for a moment, then to her right a couple seconds later and then she glanced above her "Who said that?" her ears perked up and she stood just a smidge straighter when the voice continued "I mean, that seems kind of..." he was pausing, as though to find the correct word "...exaggerated. Am I right?" Sawyer tilted her head downwards, glancing below the branch she was on and spotted a Charmander looking up at her, the orange creature looked like a normal Charmander, except it had a nasty looking scar going diagonally across the left side of his neck and his eyes were different too, a deep sky blue rather than the normal brown or red, she also saw a fang poking over his bottom lip.

"Y-Yeah" Sawyer mumbled in reply "I... I mean it wasn't my fault! Those demons, its all their fault..."she trailed off fiddling with her scarf again "They ruined everything..."

(OOC: Bah, the last line is so weak =P I couldn't think of a reply. . . in the middle of typing up a test for Social Science Class. Gahh I abhor group projects, especially when a member of our group hasn't been to class in a week and then decideds to pop up on the day before its due and decides to do something to get credit! >_>;; sorry for ranting, but this guy seriously irked me today >:C)

(OOC: No I'm not going to be telling you what level you are, since I won't force you to use moves only below the level you are. I would rather you have your Pokemon start out not very good at a new move and get better with time. That said I will be giving an average level that everyone should be every now and then. So if you really want to make your Pokemon seem to be growing in level then you could start out about 2 levels lower than my guide and work your way up to a level or 2 higgher, sinci it is really only a guide. By the way right now we should all be about level 10.)

"I'm Anton, for a moment there I thought you were a, never mind." Anton started but then quickly stopped. "Yeah the weather is good rain would make this meeting a lot worse for a start we would get wet, I don't really like water much my self." He continued on as he spread out along the branch, hanging his tail off one side of the branch and resting his head in a fork between two branches.

"It looks like things might be starting." Anton said to himself more than to Oliver, looking at some movement that had started round the tree in the center of the meadow. Just then a voice burst through the noise created by the crowd. Anton recognized the accent as an Exploud, probably the only Pokemon loud enough to shout over the number of Pokemon here.

"Silence, silence everybody." It shouted amplifying the voice of the Shiftry next to it, the whole crowd stopped talking and their attention was drawn to the center of the clearing. "You all know why you are here today, but before we begin I would like to introduce you all to the Pokemon that will be speaking here today. Firstly we the elders, Samantha the Noctowl, Adrian the Parasect, Lin the Golduck, David the Alakazam and of course myself Matthew. Now the champions Justice the Gallade, Karma, sorry Lisa the as she prefers to be called the Lucario and Misfortune the Umbreon. Last but not least is Philip a representative of the Pelipper clan explorers." At this point there was a lot of mumbling among the crowd.

"Why do you think the brought a Pelipper along then?" Anton asked Oliver as through out the crowd this unexpected event brought uproar, it was after all this was unheard of for anyone but an elder or champion to be introduced at the start of any mass meeting.

"Y-Yeah" The Rattata mumbled in reply "I... I mean it wasn't my fault! Those demons, it's all their fault..."she trailed off fiddling with her scarf again "They ruined everything..."

The Charmander rolled his eyes. *Demons*. He couldn't believe the Rattata believed in it too. He was supposed to believe that these so called *Demons* that arrived here captured others in their spheres, making them their slaves? What's next, brain eating aliens? Maybe this Rattata was just a loon like the rest of them.

"Silence, silence everybody." A voice projected over the crowd, derailing his train of thought. Squinting his eyes to see the from of the crowd, he noticed the speaker was an Exploud. Immediately, Tobias was glad he had sat on the outskirts of the crowd. Even here, it sounded as though the Pokemon was right next to them.

"About time." Tobias sighed, crossing his arms and leaning further against the trunk of the tree

"You all know why you are here today, but before we begin I would like to introduce you all to the Pokemon that will be speaking here today. Firstly we the elders, Samantha the Noctowl, Adrian the Parasect, Lin the Golduck, David the Alakazam and of course myself Matthew. Now the champions Justice the Gallade, Karma- sorry, Lisa as she prefers to be called the Lucario and Misfortune the Umbreon. Last but not least is Philip a representative of the Pelipper clan explorers."

Tobias surveyed each of the Pokémon on the stage. They didn't look to special, and their introductions weren't either. "Oh yeah!" The Charmander exclaimed, looking up at the Rattata with a grin. "I almost forgot my own intro. I'm Tobias."

Oliver did not need Anton to finish his statement for him to know what he was going to say, but it didn't bother him as much as it used to. He left it alone and acted as if he did not know what the Ekans had been going to say, to simplify it for the both of them. It was not like it truly mattered; it had all been set straight now.

"I don't mind water too terribly much, but it would be no good for the fire types, and it would make everything all muddy. It would get messy very fast."

He then fell silent, for the elders began speaking. His eyes instantly fell on an Exploud that just happened to be explosively loud. That was the only way they would all be able to hear, he was sure, and it was vital that they all hear. Concerning the intruders to their home, it was of the utmost importance that everyone be prepared.

Oliver listened to the introductions and the explanations of who everyone was and why they were there. At the mention of the Pelipper, he shrugged.

"They're probably here because Pelipper are usually very nice. They carry Pokemon who can't swim across water, and they rescue, and they can fly for long distances. It could be helpful."

(OOC: I was wondering if there was any space left for someone else to join in, because I'd like to join but I wouldn't mind being a human but not affiliated with the poachers if that's alright. I was hoping I could be one of those humans that washed up from one of the ship wrecks and if it helps I could've been a child when it happened allowing me to grow up there, thus allowing me to appreciate the place enough to help defend it with the other pokemon otherwise I could be someone the poachers brought along that isn't sure about what they're doing and decides to side with the pokemon.

And if need be I'll make a pokemon profile just so if you donn't like the human idea/s I can fall back on the pokemon one and if the either of the human ones are accepted I can just say the pokemon is mine or if I live there is a friend of mine there.)

Name: Lucciola Bendwind

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Appearance: Lucciola is a tall boy around 6' and has a broad shouldered build, his hair is short and dirty blonde in colour while his eyes are light blue with tinges of green, his complexion is normal but has become slightly tanned over the years on the island, he wears tatted beige shorts, a green T-shirt and short sleeve black jacket all of which are tatted. The only things he has from his former life aside from his clothes are a silver necklace with a fab watch on it and a silver half moon sleeper in one ear both of which are never taken off.

Personality: Lucciola is a caring and curious person that loves nature and enjoys the freedom to do as he pleases while still helping anyone he feels is in trouble and deserving of help, and despite being on the island since he was a child his vocabulary is still rather reasonable though he can sometimes communicate with some of the other pokemon he usually keeps to himself.

His habits are fairly normal for a boy who grew up on an island only populated by pokemon and most of which reside around running through the plains, swinging through the trees or swimming in the various water features that are across the island, he sticks to a natural diet of plants that grow around the island and has been known to sometimes play fight with some of the pokemon just out of fun.

When he first heard people had came to the island he hoped it was people looking for him but once he heard what they were doing he decided that they were a problem to the island, and like many of the other beings on the island he wanted them gone so that he could return to the peaceful life he had before they came here and he knew he'd fight them if he had too.

History: Lucciola was on a ship that was passing near the region when he was about eight years old and during the trip a massive storm hit and sunk the boat but he survived by clinging to a piece of driftwood and also because a couple of other survivors made sure he kept afloat, but once they made it to the island the people helping him had already drowned and he was now on his own so he did his best to survive on the island by his lonesome.

After a short time of trying to fend for himself a Luxray and her cubs came across the boy and offered him to stay with them so that he had a better chance of survival then he'd have on his own, so taking up there offer Lucciola stayed with the Luxray family and grew up with them and the rest of the cubs soon becoming a member of the family despite his obvious difference in appearance.

As he got older his "Brothers" and "Sisters" got older and had kids of their own as well but always made sure to keep in contact with Lucciola and when something happened to one of his sisters, this left her one and only cub without a parent so Lucciola took it on himself to raise the little guy himself with the approval of the rest of the family Luccicola did so and still does to this day.

RP sample: Lucciola was running through the jungle one day with his Shinx nephew in toe who'd been named Waif due to now being an orphan so as both ran through the jungle jumping vines and dodging trees, the two came to an over pass that had no way across aside from a long vine that hang from a large tree on the other side of the cliff. So Lucciola grabbed hold of the vine and made sure it was secure and motioned for Waif to jump up on his shoulders and hold on as tight as the little fellow could and once he'd done that Lucciola swung off the cliff, as they sailed through the air Waif could be heard howling in excitement as the wind swept across them and once they'd made it across the young Shinx seemed to want to do it again.

"Maybe on the way back" replied Lucciola who then motioned that they continue their running as they were hoping to get to the watering hole before everyone else least they'd have to fight for a place, which wouldn't be easy since he wasn't always able to take on every pokemon that wanted to fight him and Waif was way too young to fight any older pokemon. So as they kept running making sure to avoid anything sticking out of the grorund and having to dodge a couple of other pokemon who seemed to be thinking the same thing he was, they finally made it to the watering hole and although they weren't the first ones there they were far from the last ones so they went up and started drinking.

When Lucciola finished Waif was still going so he waited a short distance behind his nephew but as he was waiting a Tauros charged Lucciola and sent him flying into the water, and seeing his uncle attacked like that Waif spun round and started barking at the Tauros and sparking up his electricity but the Tauros just laughed and looked away. And once Lucciola had picked himself up he headed calmly out of the water and told Waif to calm done and that he'd handle this "What's your problem Tauros, I wasn't doing anything wrong so why the cowardly act" commented Lucciola and the Tauros didn't seem to like his comment.

So reacting with a dead stare at the human and not saying a thing the Tauros started to look like it was about to charge him as it was scrapping it's hoof along the ground and after a few seconds it charged, so anticipating this Lucciola jumped to the side and avoided the charge but the Tauros had put so much energy into it that he sent himself right into the watering hole. Thus making himself look like a fool in front of all the other pokemon that were around because everyone was laughing including the Tauros's friends, so Lucciola motioned for Waif to follow him and they wondered off back into the jungle to make their way home.

I'll put the others up later if this doesn't suit your ideas for this game, but if you want a pokemon I'll play Waif and if you want my human to be a poacher then I'll create that as well anyway I hope it's alright.
