Pokemon: Demons in paradise

He wasn't really sure how long he and the clan had been waiting there, but it was a bit too long for Goka. After a brief nap, he sat up and looked around - only to see miles of pokemon stretching out to the edges of the plain. What was taking the elders so long?

"SILENCE, SILENCE EVERYBODY." Boomed a large voice suddenly. Goka and a few others surrounding him all hastily covered their ears. It was the Exploud, obviously amplifying his voice for all of them to hear - however Goka and the clan were pretty close to the tree.

"You all know why you are here today, but before we begin I would like to introduce you all to the Pokemon that will be speaking here today..."

Goka sighed. Couldn't they just get on with it? He stood up and stretched a little before realising he was hungry. He leapt off of the tree he was on and landed on the back of a Hippowdon,

"Goka, where are you going?" Asked one of the Infernape,

"Just to get something to eat," he replied, "I'll be back soon..." He would be fine, after all - how hard can a tree full of firing monkeys be to find?

Goka hopped from the backs of different pokemon, ignoring the usual, "Hey!" or, "Watch it shrimp." There were a few other trees in the area, so he picked the one closest to where he was headed. A final bound over a particularly peeved off looking Rhyhorn and Goka landed with ease in a sweet smelling tree. He poked his head in, rumaged about with his hands and came across a decent little stash of Nanab Berries - which he found particularly nice. He got a small handfull and began to chew on them. His eye caught something however. He peered around the main stem of the tree to see a Rattata fiddling with a rag. He sensed that it was feeling a little lonely, perhaps, so he got a good handful of berries,

"Sorry, I didn't know if these were yours or something, want one?" He said, holding a few out to the small mouse. It was here that he noticed how much quieter the Shiftry was speeking. Maybe he should just listen to the whole thing here. He walked to the edge of the branch and sat, "Hope you don't mind, I'll just listen from here." He noticed a shape down below too. He peered over and saw a Charmander with the same idea.

"Hey there," Goka briefly said.

Lucciola, I'm not sure about the human thing I originally planed for everyone to be Pokemon and the humans to be poachers and nothing else. I'm going to have to think about this.)
 
It wasn't soon after she murmured sadly, that a Chimchar had landed on her branch, a few meters away from her, with an armful of berries "Sorry, I didn't know if these were yours or something, want one?" He said, holding a few out to her. Sawyer stared at the berries uncertainly for a couple of seconds before taking a few "Thank You!" she exclaimed, feeling slightly better, I mean who in their right mind would turn down free food! She watched out of the corner of her eye while nibbling on the Nanab berry as the Chimchar walked to the edge of the branch and sat down "Hope you don't mind, I'll just listen from here." Sawyer just shrugged in an uncaring way as she continued to eat, it didn't bother her.

"Silence, silence everybody." Sawyer luckily had just finished eating when her paws shot up to cover her ears, the Loudred was, loud, as its name proclaimed. Its booming voice practically rattled her being, she was grateful that she wasn't up too close, otherwise the purple Pokémon might've deafened her with its voice "About time" she heard the Charmander murmur below her and Sawyer nodded in agreement before glancing back towards the middle of the field.

"You all know why you are here today, but before we begin I would like to introduce you all to the Pokemon that will be speaking here today. Firstly we the elders, Samantha the Noctowl, Adrian the Parasect, Lin the Golduck, David the Alakazam and of course myself Matthew. Now the champions Justice the Gallade, Karma- sorry, Lisa as she prefers to be called the Lucario and Misfortune the Umbreon. Last but not least is Philip a representative of the Pelipper clan explorers."

Sawyer looked at all of the Pokémon in awe, specifically the Champions and she could tell just by glancing at them, that they didn't just get their names for show. They looked extremely powerful "So cool" she whispered, her eyes widening in wonder "Could I ever look as strong as they do?" She glanced briefly at Charmander and noticed he didn't look too interested, she wondered why, they looked awesome in her opinion "Maybe its a lizard thing..."

"Oh yeah!"

Sawyer blinked when Charmander looked up at her with a grin "I'm Tobias" she couldn't help but return the grin albeit a bit bashfully "Nice to meet you. I'm Sawyer"
 
After Tobias introduced himself, responded back with a bashful grin. "Nice to meet you. I'm Sawyer"

However, before Tobias could move the conversation forwards, much to his displeasure, a Chimchar landed on the branch next to her. He looked like a normal Chimchar, if not a bit taller, but it did have a strange black streak running across the top of his head.

"Sorry, I didn't know if these were yours or something, want one?" Tobias could hear the new Pokemon say to Sawyer, holding a few berries out to Saywer. After a moment, he made his way over to the end of the branch and sat down. "Hope you don't mind, I'll just listen from here"

Tobias briefly wondered about his safety, and if the branch would hold, but rapidly dispelled this as being paranoid and stupid and despised himself for even thinking it.." Suddenly, the Chimchar seemed to notice Tobias below. "Hey there."

 "Yo." The Charmander responded, a tad unsure what to make of the circumstances. Was this Chimchar a friend of Sawyer's, or just another poor sap that believed in these demons? His stomach again growled as he pondered the situation. Quickly, he again crossed his arms and leaned back into the tree, hoping no one heard. In a sad attempt to diverge the conversation away from his growling stomach, Tobias asked a question to the two above. "So, Uh... Are you two friends or something?"
 
"So, Uh... Are you two friends or something?" asked the Charmander down below. Goka looked back down,

"Nope," He lay back a little, "I was dragged along here by my clan because this is supposed to be important. I got bored up front so I just came down here to listen instead - but I didn't want to be rude, y'know." He ate another berry, "I'm Goka by the way," he then said, realising he'd not introduced himself.

The elders were still taking forever to get on with things...
 
"Nice to meet you Goka" Sawyer said with a smile before glancing at Tobias again, Goka had come with his clan and she had came looking for her family, who was still somewhere around here. Sawyer briefly surveyed the area, still no sign of them yet but she didn't really mind it, she was beginning to enjoy the company of the Chimchar and Charmander "Hey Tobias. . . do you have any family here with you too?" she asked curiously before reaching over to swipe another berry from Goka and giving him a lopsided grin "I hope he doesn't mind..." she quickly ate the berry and then rubbed her belly "I wish they'd hurry up, this is taking way too long. . ."
 
There was lots of noise and i was still half asleep. Then when the crowd started to mumble i decided to wake up.

I stood up and felt something on my face. I whipped my mouth, "What the?" i asked myself as i stared at the tamato berry juce on my arm, "Oh, right." I remembered i had a berry in my mouth when i tripped.

Then i heard someone from abouve, "They're probably here because Pelipper are usually very nice. They carry Pokemon who can't swim across water, and they rescue, and they can fly for long distances. It could be helpful."

I looked up, there was an ekans and a meowth. I was shure it was the ekans that i had heard. "Hmm... well i might as well try to meet someone here." I said as i climbed up the tree to the branch. "Hi im Kitoran, but you can call me Kit." Then i wondederd why they where talking about a Pelipper, "whats this i hear about a Pelipper?" i asked while i waited for the meeting to start, not knowing that it already had.
 
"Nope," The Chimchar next to Sawyer replied, laying back a little, "I was dragged along here by my clan because this is supposed to be important. I got bored up front so I just came down here to listen instead - but I didn't want to be rude, y'know." While the monkey-Pokémon ate another berry, Tobias shifted the position he was sitting in; his tail was starting to burn the tree a little anyways. The Chimchar continued on after finishing his berry. "I'm Goka by the way."

"Alright. I'm Tobias." The Chamander responded, giving Goka smirk similar to the one he gave Saywer.

"Hey Tobias. . . do you have any family here with you too?" Saywer asked curiously before reaching over to swipe another berry from Goka.

Tobias looked down at the ground, unsure of what to say. The thought of lying momentarily crossed his mind, but he quickly dispelled it as a bad idea. However, he didn't really want to tell them to truth either. Deciding on something in between, he looked back up and responded. "No. I came here by myself."

 "I wish they'd hurry up, this is taking way too long. . ." Sawyer said after.

 "Yeah." Tobias sighed, "They're sure taking their time."

Species: Treecko

Gender: Male


Age: 13

Appearance: This Treecko is not normal for he resembles the colors of fall he has Brownish Red Skin and his tail is Yellowish Orange. His eyes are bright blue and he has a Red Scar on his back(will explain that in History).His tail is Longer then others and his feet look like they have been injured.

Personality: Blade acts like any other Treecko likes to hang alone while watching others quietly.He also acts very Bold and Brave if he notices a Pokemon in danger.He is not very social and only talks to others if needed.
Blade enjoys cool cloudy days when things are quiet.He very much dislike criminals and will try to stop them if able to.Blade also enjoys hanging IN trees disguised as the leaves and the tree itself.He also dislikes rude people.
Blade does have odd things about him for if he sees criminal activity he will try to handle it slow and secretly.He also has an odd but good thing about him is he is very skilled in seeing,hearing and athletics.
Blade is a little worried but not much if they seem to be a threat he will try to handle it but might not be able to.All he can do i hope that their isn't.


History: When Treecko woke up one morning he was all alone on an island and didn't know why but this history is going before that.Treecko was running from all these people who thought he was a criminal but he wasn't their were three framing him
Gengar,Duskull,and Sableye.Treecko tried to reason with them but he could not succeed
"Disgraceful" "Abusive" "And simply horrifying." They all screamed at him.He tried to run he failed,he tried to fight the criminals,he failed,only one thing was left...Hope. about a month later Treecko found himself on an island and wondered where he was but eventually he learned to like the island.Good food,good shelter,it was almost paradise until Treecko noticed a mark on his back which was a scar then he had a flash back.

"Hehehe this will teach you to mess with us NIGHT SHADE!" he yelled
"oof" Blade fell to the ground
"what's the matter wimp Sableye finish this"
"with pleasure" As Sableye used a powerful bite on Blade's back.

"whoa what was that." But now he barely notices ithe just lives as anyone would except about the part of being a weird color and all but no biggy.


RP sample: The night was dark,the air was cold,the rocks were sharp,but hope had not fallen Blade had escaped them,but he could not escape what was coming he knew what he had to do.
No more running Blade ran back towards them
No more being framed Blade got closer to the criminals
NO MORE ASSAULT! Blade was face to face with the leader Gengar.
"So wimp you come back for more eh well i'll let my minions take you" As Gengar disappeared in a shadow.His two helpers Duskull and Sableye walked up to him.
"Don't worry boss we got this runt"
"Hehe ya let's get him dusk!"
As the two charged at him Blade just jumped and used razor leaf.
"Ow that hurt!"
"This will teach you to mess with us"as Duskull started to use Shadow ball
Honestly they must be joking As Sableye tried to sneak up behind him Duskull fired the Shadow ball and Blade jumped with a second left leaving Sableye to get crushed.
"Oh eih doh" As the mumbling Sableye fell backwards leaving it just Duskull and Blade
"Why you little runt take this"As Duskull tried to fire another Shadow ball
Oh come now surely you learn from mistakes As Blade's tail started to glow the Shadow ball was heading towards him.
Now what's he up to As Blade swung his tail at this Shadow ball hurling it back at Duskull
"Oh Crap"



BOOM!!!


"And pop goes the Duskull..."

"Well any way, I'm not really that bothered I suppose that the Elders have some reason for bringing him to this meeting." Anton said as he let out a yawn. Just then a Pikachu climbed on to the branch.


"Hi I'm Kitoran, but you can call me Kit. Whats this i hear about a Pelipper?" The small mouse Pokemon said.


"By your brave or just suicidal. A Pikachu like you approaching an Ekans and a Meowth on a dark night like this." Anton said baring a fang. " You could end up as someone's dinner." He continued, licking his lips, then he turned back to the elders. "You can leave if you want or come and sit with us, whatever. Oh and the Pelipper is an unexpected guest at this meeting that's all."


Just then the Exploud began to speak again, it seemed that after a short discussion the Elders had got something to say. If it kept going like this it was going to be a long night. "...We have decided to allow Philip to speak as representative of the Pelipper because we believe that the Pelipper have important information regarding what has been going on in the last few days. I will now spare you the wait and let Phillip take over straight away." The Shifty that had been dictating to the Exploud walked away and the Pelipper waddled over to speak, giving a convenient pause for Anton to speak.


"What has been going on, if he means the mass Poke-napping of Pokemon all over this island, I hadn't noticed." Anton said sarcastically. "Why don't the elders ever say anything directly."


A few moments later the Exploud began speaking again. "Hello everyone, I am Philip of the Pelipper. Now I won't dawdle, these demon that many of you have been in contact with over the last three days are something that us Pelipper have known about, well for almost as long as we have been flying. As I am sure quite a lot of you know we Pelipper are the only water Pokemon that can fly, this make us able to travel extreme distances over seas in just a matter of days, flying makes us faster than other water Pokemon and swimming makes us able to rest on long journeys over water. Now about the humans, their home land is at least two moons flight from here, in the direction of the rising sun. We don't know a lot about what the humans can do, but we do know that they can do things no Pokemon can, for instance I am sure a lot of you were told bed time stories about the slavers, these stories are based on what we Pelipper know the humans can do. We just never thought the humans would be able to find this island." At this point the Pelipper stopped talking, so the Exploud did too, after Philip had composed himself he began to speak again. "It is the belief of the Pelipper..."


Before he could continue Philip was stopped by Lin the Golduck, who then took over the speech, however he was largely ignored by the crowd that were too busy talking about what the Pelipper had said.
 
While all the others were talking Blade was up in a tree relaxing until he heard these words
"if you mean the mass poke-napping"
Blade then shot up and payed attention to the conversation
hmm poke-napping?what's all this about anyway?
He stared downward to listen to the conversation...
 
Exploud began to speak again, not to long after they had spoken, stating that Phillip the Pelipper had some info on the recent Poké-napings of the natives "Like Dad. . ." Sawyer listened intently to the things Philip had to say and apparently these demons were called humans, what odd things to call themselves Sawyer thought as Philip spoke of how the humans had this odd ability to enslave them, just like that weird little ball that one human had thrown at her father. Sawyer crossed her little paws thoughtfully and spoke up to Goka and Tobias, once Philip was done and other Pokémon began to converse amongst themselves "I wonder how they were able to find us, just how smart are these humans? I mean if they have the ability to slave us, well then what else could they do?"
 
(OOC: Are Charmander omnivores? O.o I mean, they are lizards/dragons...)

As Tobias listened halfheartedly to the speech, he scoffed at the Pelipper's sham, inadvertently spitting fire as he did so. Was he really supposed to believe these so called *human* type Pokemon were across the sea, and were causing the disappearances? Silently, he made a bet that the next thing they were going to announce was that the moon was actually a square or cheese. The only thing that did catch his attention was how the Pelipper was so quickly cut off by the Golduck. However, he didn't have time to contemplate this, as Sawyer spoke up.

"I wonder how they were able to find us, just how smart are these humans? I mean if they have the ability to slave us, well then what else could they do?"

Tobias looked up at the Rattata, and although he didn't usually favor the taste of them (too tough (;3) and much rather have some sort of fish), had to admit, looked kind of tasty, especially with her front legs crossed like that. Luckily, he shook off the idea, reminding himself about the rule of the day and the taste of the creature before he responded. "Nothing. It seems like some sort of hoax to me." Glancing at the crowd gossiping ahead of him, he continued. "I mean, come on. If the Pelipper have know about them for that long, then how come no one's ever seen one, or heard about one?"
 
"Maybe they were in hiding?" She lamely replied " And they just decided to appear? I mean, there's alot of types we don't know about" Sawyer scratched her head thoughtfully at his skepticism, she wondered why Tobias didn't seem to believe the rumors "Maybe its cause he's never had to deal with it, he's probably never faced the threat like I and a select few have had."
 
Goka thought about what the Pelliper had said. These 'human' pokemon, they were the monsters. So they were known about...

"It seems like some sort of hoax to me. I mean, come on. If the Pelipper have know about them for that long, then how come no one's ever seen one, or heard about one?" Tobias said, interrupting his train of thought,

"Maybe they were in hiding?" She lamely replied " And they just decided to appear? I mean, there's alot of types we don't know about" Sawyer replied quietly. She had a point,

"And maybe we didn't need to know about them anyway," Goka continued, "I mean, if they had told us when the Pelliper first found them then everybody would be scared and suspicious of the creatures. Unfortunately it looks like these human pokemon have found us too..."

He looked at Tobias, who didn't seem to be taking this seriously. Goka could read his body language, sense something about him. He was very doubtful. He might be right - but then, what if he was wrong?

(OOC: Just keeping the interaction rolling...)

However, the Charmander didn't pry, nor felt like it, and instead responded to Sawyer's hopeful statement.

"Why would they show up now then?" Tobias asked , leaning further back into the tree. "It's just a bunch of rumors getting out of hand." He paused for a moment, thinking about the so called "humans" before continuing. "Plus, even if there were such things, it sounds like they would be a Psychic-typed maybe, enslaving Pokemon..." Tobias looked back up, giving a fanged-filled grin. "But still no match for a fire-type like me!"

(OCC: ... Do Charmander eat Chimchar too? :3)

"we might be right,we might be wrong but one way or another we have to get to the bottom of this"he stared around to look at everyone's expressions
"Now to get to the bottom of this we need a plan.Anyone got a suggestion."

"Believe me, if their weakness was fire then me and my clan would have no need to be here..." Goka responded, briefly looking as his tail flame.

"We might all just be insane" a voice spoke. Goka turned round to see an odd looking Treeko jump from the top of the small tree they were on, "we might be right,we might be wrong but one way or another we have to get to the bottom of this. Now to get to the bottom of this we need a plan. Anyone got a suggestion." he asked. Goka turned back to where the elders were,

"Before we think of doing anything we should listen to the elders," he said, turning again to the Treeko, "besides, we're not even totally sure these new pokemon exist." Goka continued, even though he was sure they did.
 
"Its starting to get a bit crowded up here" Sawyer thought as a Treeko joined in on the conversation, climbing his way onto the branch where she and Goka sat. She thought about what Tobias had said, a small part of her, wanted to tell the overconfident, yet skeptic Charmander, that a fire-type like him would be no match for one of those humans, since they managed to defeat her dad, a Growlithe, one of the strongest Growlithes she's ever known at that. So what could a little lizard like him do, that her father couldn't "But that's a pretty rude thing to say" instead, Sawyer just brushed her thought off and listened to Goka's objection to the Treeko's plan. "Yeah, maybe we should wait til the elders are done speaking and who knows, they might have some valuable information on how we might be able to beat these humans."
 
"Well it was a suggestion and that's why i said we may be wrong but what if these aren't pokemon at all? Some new type of species well lets hear the elders then figure out what our plan is"As Treecko just laid back on the tree waiting for an answer.
