    I suggest you go with the Pokemon Ranger overworld. Because with the Pokemon Ranger overworld, there will be larger areas to explore. But that's just me.

    The DP graphics are not visually appealing to me at all. Using the Ranger graphics means you would probably need to make a lot of completely original graphics or steal from other RPG's and edit/recolor them. Or you could go the easy way and use graphics from the Advanced generation.
