4th Gen Pokemon Diamond | Hethmore City Gym Leader

Can anybody tell me how I find the Gym Leader in Hethmore City? I've got the first set of Gym badges and I'm waiting to fight this one but they aren't in the gym???

So I'm assuming you mean the place with the ghost gym? Yeah, at first she won't be there. You need to carry on and get I think like 4 badges, and once you come back she will be there. At least that is the case in DP. It was changed in Plat in a way you get to fight her as soon as you reach the city XD.

Yeah, I did get the first four badges, like in order and the next one I'm sure is the one in Hethmore City. Someone told me that I might need to win one of the contests first? Do you know anything about that?

If I remember correctly you need to chase Team Galactic out of Celestic Town after getting the first four badges. I think it starts at the Great Marsh where you battle the first Galactic member, then Cynthia will give you the SecretPotion to get rid of the Psyduck on Route 210. After that just make your way upto Celestic Town and then once you've done that and handed the Old Charm over to Cynthia's mother, you can go back to Hearthome and Fantina should be at her Gym.

I always found that an interesting feature of the 4th Gen games. I know in the anime I found it quite frustrating that Fantina was never at the Gym, but in the games I found it an interesting twist.
