3rd Gen Pokemon Emerald Monotype Challenge

First Gym Completed!

Ember, Double Kick, Focus Energy, Peck.

now im off to dewford to catch my first dark poke, Sableye and wipe out brawley.

Okay, just beat the Rock Gym leader.
- Shroomish Lv. 18
- Combusken Lvl. 16
 
just took down brawley.

Sableye Lv 17
Scratch, Astonish, Leer, Fury Swipes.

Combusken Lv 20
Cut, Ember, Doublekick, Focus energy.

on to catch a poochyena and take down team aqua. at slateport.
 
You aren't understanding the point of this,


Once you gain access to the pokemon you choose,

all other pokemon (with the exception of hm slaves)

are to be removed from your team.

So far,


I am the water dood.

I started off with mudkip and quickly caught a wingull and zigzagoon.

I only intend on using water types in battle. Zigzagoon is nicknamed "HM_Slave'' for obv. reasons.

I got lvl 13 mudkip and 12 wingull after the first badge, I will train them to 16 each then go catch myself a goldeen and maybe a tenticool (not sure if you can fish one)

Actually, it's stated in the first post that the starter pokemon are okay to use.

Anyway, I originally came here to post my update.

I just think its more of a difficulty with ONLY one type, no help at all,

Im following the rules of the older monotype challenge, for added difficulty.

Okay, I gotcha! (There's just no way I'd be able to defeat Wattson's Magneton without that Marshtomp, if you remember what type I am anyway)

I could go with grass. So, are we allowed to have duo-type pokemon? The way you said it in the example, it sounds like we can't have pokemon with two types, but I see trainers with these type of pokemon. I just want to get this cleared up before I start.

Well, anyway, I can't wait to start.

i think u need to chill dude. i read the rules, and im playing by them.
so untill i break one you can shut yo mouth :D.

anyways. struggling a little training my poochyena, it has almost no defense....

This is ,Infact, A race.

We are deciding what exactly will be the prize (possibly something on diamond/pearl, if someone donates)

All winners will receive custom banners of their team, the trainer sprite of their choice, and the place they were in the race (first - third)



Basic Rules (Subject to Change)

1. Must update journey every week, preferably more often.

2. If you are doing an emulator, please show screenshots of your badges, and the team you used. If you are using your game, like me, take a picture with a camera (if it shows up) and give us proof of acheivements.
This is not required, but useful as proof.

3. Duel types are permitted, in the circumstance that they are caught as that type of Duel-Type, and remain it.

Examples:

Mudkip is Mud/Water, as is all it's other evolutions.

Wingull is Water/Flying, so is pelipper.

Tenticool is Water Poison, well, you get the idea.

I wish I had a another offensive move besides Confusion with Kirlia.
Darn this lack of TMs.
Also, I can donate some of my event Pokes in my Pearl version.
