I reccomend changing the name for the intent of people not getting it confused with the actual game.


I can possibly remake sprites and such if you want,

Pokemon:

EmeraldDestiny

or something like that.

if you aren't going to include the battle frontier hacking emerald is just a newer r/s w/ a few new features, and WAY less space, so if you plan on finishing it, remember MAKE BACK-UPS EARLY AND OFTEN!

hmm, well just to spoil something, there will be no battle frontier, It is old and no fun anymore.
So I'm planning to change that, also I dont worry about the name yet, it's just emerald for now.

Good News.

Tomorrow should be the day that I get my computer.
So this game is getting started soon, I will be learning the ways of scripting in the upcoming weeks.
I already prepaired many sprites, and also made some custom stories to be added into the hack.
So this is looking good for now. :)

I'm staying calm about making this hack, it's like a test.
A test of a way better hack someday maybe.
So no need to rush anything yet...
 
Okay, well I have some news...
This time i'm pretty pissed of!
I ordered the computer and they said I need to be 18 to pay it of monthly, okay fine I ask my mom.
She did the same thing I did, and just now they called and said the provider doesn't want my mother to order the damn thing because she already has 2 things to pay, those things take for over a year still, so that means she cannot order anything intill she paid those other things fully...

This kinda sucks, and makes me furious.
I've been waiting and waiting for only bad news and still no good news is coming in my direction.
I have a feeling someone out there doesnt want me to have a new computer.
Ah well it's not a big deal but it does means I cannot work on this game for a month and a halv.
I need to be 18 to order the bloody thing, so I hope I can find someother way to get that computer.

Haha I really dont understand your example, but I think it is good for a script.
I still need to learn how to script, but yea god doesn't want me to have my own computer so it has to wait...

... your talking about the front sprite or backsprite ?
I'm gonna change the backsprite, but the front sprite stays as it is.

Thanks for keeping this tread active, but if you have nothing else to say I rather want you not to post here.

29 november is the day I get the bloody computer, so still no progress untill then.
I will update this soon with some other sprites. :)
 
Really, Crosell? Such a shame...well, luck on getting that computer!
 
I'd love to see this hack.

New ideas? Hmm. Add some hidden Dojo in which you have to fight 16 trainers. 15 of them battle with a specific type of pokes (Water, thunder, fire, etc), and the final one battles with a well-rounded balanced team. Kinda like Gary on the Earth Badge.
 
Awfull ? I think there not as bad as you say they are.
And totodile's colours are good as they are, the only thing I can think of is maybe give it a different purple colour but other then that it aint to dark.
If you wanna help out by giving advice make sure you say something that helps me.
And if you can provide better sprites then mine please tell, but I'm sure it's not possible.

It's 4th of november, I called that place where I ordered my computer, and they bring it to me on the 29th of november.
So soon I´ll be updating this place with some new stuff.
 
I really don't think the sprites are "awful". They are very good actually.
Anyways, I hope to see new updates on this hack. Good luck.
