6th Gen Pokemon Emotions in Battle

    I don't know if anyone else has gotten these messages... but I've only gotten them a couple of times, but both times I found it pretty exciting. Pretty much it just gives a little note about how the pokemon is feeling DURING battle, which seemed odd.

    The first time was when I sent out Charizard at the start of battle and I got a line that was something like: "Charizard can't wait to battle"

    I also noticed my Charizard shakes at the start of any battle now.

    And then another time I was using Raichu against Mewtwo... he got hit and just barely survived a hit that should have killed him, i guess because of determination.

    Anyway, I'm wondering what other rare battle things or emotions people have seen in these new games. They seem rare?
     
    It's based on their affection level in Pokemon Amie.

    The higher it is, the more often the messages appear and more positive they are.

    There's a ton of other benefits for having high affection in battles too, but the messages are some of my favorites.
     
    I also like the messages - the only thing I don't like about them is that the longer ones disapear too fast for me to read them properly 3:
     
    Max out affection and see what happens. The first time I used my Pokemon with full affection in battle it was creepy and exciting, both at the same time xD

    You get many benefits out of it (and this whole you and your Pokemon share a bond together and stuff is kinda cool)
     
    Those emotions dont apply on online play right?
     
    Nope. Only in the wild and in NPC trainer battles except for in the Battle Maison.
     
    Found these emotions things pretty interesting but annoying after a while as it seem to make the loading for the start of the battle longer. Is anyone else experiencing it as well?
     
    Here's how to give your pokemon rubs after battle. Just simply rub the touch screen after defeating a Pokemon and you will be able to rub your pokemon.
