Pokemon Errors

    I thought it would be fun to have a list of errors/bloopers from the Pokemon Series.

    I was just watching the Orange Island box set and in the 2nd episode of the first disc, at the very beginning of the Who's That Pokemon segment, if you pause and play frame by frame, you can see the Japanese Pokemon Logo. If you play it normally without pausing, you'll still be able to see it but you'd have to pay attention
     
    Uhh...graphical errors? Or how Pikachu's taken down an Onix and a Rhydon using electric attacks?

    Which sort do you mean?

    In the Orange Islands, they had lots of pink pokemon....remember? That's an error, sort of.
     
    Yeah, but how does Bulbasaur "blow" them away? I don't think there's a pokemon attack called "blow"

    because I'm so mature, I'd lol if there was onexD

    So I don't think it is a translation error
     
    Nidorino hits gengar with tackle in the intro video for LG and FR :/
     
    I remember watching an episode and they asked one of those trivia questions (Pokemon Trainer's Choice) before going to commercial break. They asked "What Pokemon does Arbok evolve into?" Or something like that.

    The answer? Seviper. I'm pretty sure we all know that both Arbok and Seviper don't evolve.

    Hehe, I remember that episode :') The episode with Magnezone and Metagross in, during 4th gen. Ash had two Pikachu's. It should them in the same shot, one standing next to him and one on his shoulder.

    is was a razor leaf attack. ash told him to blow away the leaves. But it was lost in translation

    And that wasn't even in the dub...

    Another mistake I remember is when there were a couple of episodes where Misty and Brock called rice balls DONUTS. My god, it was soo funny. Does this:

    Hahaha, they did that all the time! Like the one where Brock gives Snubbull 'popcorn' balls. Umm, no. ARGH!!! XD
     
    Yes, i remember the donuts! Just watched that the other day :P

    I remember an episode in S1 where Ash whips out his pokedex on a Machop and it starts going on about Machoke :P

    After a little bit of research I found this web-page with a nice collection of errors in the Anime. It only includes Kanto I guess.

    But, in my yellow game on my GBC, pikachu's thundershock affected Brocks Onix.
    I never really understood why though. Hmm, I think some of the anime's most largest errors have been removed because they were in fact episodes. Although, I don't think some of theepisode should have be stopped except for the one with porygon in it. Since it was a saftey issue. :X
