Here guys, I want to sort of show you some stuff.

I'll explain May.

May is Prof. Birch's daughter and assistant. She helps other Trainers on their journey as a job of the Hoenn Pokemon League. She beat Champion Wallace when she was 10, but decided it was for the better he kept his seat. She also participates in Contests, often an idol for other Coodinators. Her real dream however is to become a Pokemon Researcher, like her father. She has problems with him, but she still loves him....right? She owns a Blaziken, but rarely uses it. It had a baby Torchic, which May uses now.

There's also Brendan, who'll appear in the RP as well.

Brendan is the son of Norman, the Petalburg City Gym Leader. He began with a Mudkip, and is a beginning Trainer. He's very arrogant, wanting to battle Steven Stone, the "true" Hoenn Champion, despite losing many times. He defeated him once, and Brendan became the Champion. But this was short-lasting, as Wallace defeated Brendan the following week, making Brendan hate Wallace.

Brendan now has a Swampert, and is living currently in Petalburg. He helps his father around the Gym & the house, sometimes even battling challengers with Norman's Pokemon if he's not around. He also is thinking about challenging Wallace again.

Name: Claire Lune Yes I based the name off of the musical piece "Claire de la Lune" so deal with it

Age: 17

Gender: Yubel :> (for those who know YGO GX) Female

Home Region: Phenac City, Orre

Personality: At first glance, Claire seems like she would be a snobby, selfish brat. But in reality, she is a literal example of the term "You can't judge a book by its cover". Claire is very polite to those around her, including her family and especially her elders, and she is a rather sincere girl. If she does something wrong, she admits it rather than lie or put the blame on something else. She is not intelligent like your stereotypical "goody-two-shoes", but just "average" as she likes to put it. Did I forget to mention she's also modest?

On the downside, Claire can be rather timid, especially when she's with those around her age. She is bad at starting conversations with such people, and often will say nothing to them when at galas or other kinds of formal or informal gatherings. Instead, she is quite social with adults and elderly people, and listens to what they have to say rather than steer the conversation wherever she wants it to go the entire time.

History: Claire grew up in the elegant oasis that was Phenac City her whole life. Her parents were very wealthy, so she lived in the largest house, located conveniently by Phenac Stadium, which, even though it had closed down a while ago, was up and running again. The stadium itself was used not only for Pokemon battles, but also for formal galas and the occasional Pokemon contest or fashion show. Of course, none of this mattered to Claire. What mattered was that it was the perfect place to go (while empty, of course) when Claire wanted to be alone.

From time to time, Claire and her family traveled to Realgam Tower to try their luck at the games and watch the best of the best battle, and to Agate Village to visit Celebi's shrine. They occasionally stopped by Gateon Port just to go to the Krabby Club, but other than that, Claire never left Phenac.

This proved to become a problem, because the more and more Claire stayed isolated in the same place, beautiful as it was, the more she yearned to leave home and travel all around the world. Her parents, of course, disapproved of this. Their reason was they didn't want Claire to be kidnapped and held ransom. Of course, they cared more about their daughter than their fortune, and Claire gave up trying to travel without fighting.

Things changed for the better on Claire's 17th birthday. Her parents bought three tickets to Hoenn for her birthday on one of those top-class luxury boats. While on the ship, which was bound for Littleroot, Claire's parents admitted to her that they figured because Orre wasn't as well-known (despite past events that would prove this statement false), then nobody would know them. Thus, Claire could travel Hoenn on her own if she wanted to, although she had to have a Pokemon with her. It was also admitted that they signed her up for Hoenn's grand re-opening, but Claire didn't mind.

To make sure she would get to Professor Birch safely (even though his lab wasn't TOO far from the harbor), Claire's parents gave her a male Tropius, which Claire called "Topi", who would return to her parents once she got a Pokemon of her own. After a few farewell exchanges (and an index card locating Birch's lab), Claire took off, leaving her parents behind to do whatever they wanted to do.

Their Goal: As stated, Claire has a yearning for traveling. This gives her the opportunity to do so. On another note, Claire found the contests in Phenac Stadium to be extremely interesting (think anime-style contests), so she has high hopes for entering her own Pokemon and winning.

Physical Features:

Height: 5'5"
Weight: 120lb.
Other Notes: Unlike in the picture, her socks actually match (the right one is the same as the left one in the picture). Also, her eyes are blue.

Unique Qualities: Claire can play the ocarina really well. Expect links to various songs that sound like they could be played on ocarina (in other words, LoZ songs, though I might try and find songs with a flute playing the melody or something like that).

Starter Nickname: Yukari; This is not a Touhou reference. I repeat, this is not a Touhou reference. OK, fine, this IS a Touhou reference. Tana (common female Japanese prefix/suffix "ta" + the first symbol in Slakoth's Japanese name; it IS pronounced "Tan-uh" instead of "Tah-nuh" like it would be in Japanese; you could also consider it a play on words since Slakoth is of a tan color)

Gender: Female

Personality: Unlike her companion, who is the exact opposite from how others stereotypically see someone of her sort, Tana is just how one would picture any Slakoth to be: Lazy, slow, not too bright, something like that. However, Tana is very loyal to Claire, even though this seemed like something she'd never be when Claire first got her. Tana is also a bit of a trump card, exerting her true power when she or Claire is in danger. This, however, is short-lived, for when Tana is done exerting said power, she falls asleep for a few hours. Wake her up, and she'll be grumpy and hot-tempered for a whole week.
