    Sorry if there was already a thread made for these types of questions, I couldn't find one, so just merge it if so.

    Okay I'm trying to get a Venasaur in my Pokedex on Fire Red, but I chose a Charmander as my starter. I realize the only way to actually have one is to choose Bulbasaur, but I want to know how to get the Venasaur name in the Pokedex, instead of it being a blank space. I have all the other starter Pokemon in the dex. Where can I see one?

    By trading and/or battling someone with it.

    There's no trainer with Bulbasaur in the game, I'm afraid.

    Yeah, you're just gonna have to trade one or something. Anyway, Ninja Caterpie's right; there's a simple Q&A thread in the Advanced Generation Gaming section. Next time, check around a little more. There's a thread for almost everything. No point in merging since you got your answer.
