    Uh...if you have experience of programming its definately easier(but not than RM2k3).But if you haven't programmed its easy to learn. I use it cause I started this game in RM2k3 before and just stopped cause I pretty much can't use that kind of stuff and PKF in that really sucked and I had to sets lots of variables and I knew I was gonna run out. So pretty much if I don't program the game I have trouble with all those functions and pretty much have barely any control over it. Thats how I see it.

    Well.. i dont really like it. I have no experience in programming :( well.. good luck with yer game then.

    Thank you...(good luck with yours too)...If you ever start programming it would be cool cause of the javascript programming. My point of view for new people is probably screwed cause I started programming 3 years ago and I forget what it was like.

    Thanks alot. I will probably learn programming at school as i am doing I.C.T GCSE (UK) and webpages require programming right?

    I've learned Java, C, C++, Basic, DarkBasic, Visual Basic, html, dos, and have also tried sphere, and a programmer system called Jamagic. Other than Basic, sphere was the second thing I learned to code in. It is actually preety easy to understand, it could take a day or two to learn, but the coding is preety easy. With even slim knowledge of programming, you could probably figure out how to use it, it just takes a little more time.

    Depends if you want custom forums,voting things,news systems, etc. If you do usually you use PHP...and maybe some javascript(which is the way Sphere programming is structured). But PHP is better than javascript.

    @ DMMP: Whoa all those(personally I didn't like Jamagic)? Yea it does take time...but you gotta be patient.

    Hey dude I don't know PHP I just sorta know the easy stuffe like echo "blah";
    and include("blah.php"); that sorta stuff.

    oh right :confused: :confused: :dead: sorry i just dont understand m8, well... dont worry bout that . Anyways good luck and good night.

    Personally I think that first screen is way to empty. You should kinda shrink the size
    of the house or add furniture/make the house feel more mansiony. (I know this isn't an
    actual word)

    Well I was gonna add more furniture but I had to leave I'll put in more. It is pretty empty :\ .....and the first town is almost done it will look a lot like Pallete town.

    DM, Jamagic is more of a developers system, as darkbasic can do multiple things, meaning Jamagic is focused strictly at gaming, while DB, does quite a bit. Second, I am using RPG maker, because it allows you to quickly, and efficiently release something. If I was to use sphere, Java, VB, Ect... It would triple my development time, and, my issue, Is that I am very impatient, and like to see results quickly in my game design. Though using one of the listed programming languages, I may result in a better gaming experience, I don't have the patience for it. If I was working in a group with 5 programmers, and myself, I'd use them, but, since I am impacient, it results in me wanting to use something quicker.

    Come on, surely you can think of something more original than Pallet Town for inspiration. It's like one of the worst designed maps in all of the games and makes the game appear newbish. Just put some more thought into your town design and it will show when people play the demo.

    I know I'm gonna make it like the how it was in rpgmaker.
