Did you guyz lyk totally kno that Beyonce had the best music video of all time....

* At least one species of Pokémon evolves at every level from 20 to 40 except 29 and 39.

* The only two Pokemon to go from mono-type to dual-type in-between generations are Magnemite and Magneton.

* Azurill is a Normal-type unlike its Water-type evolutions, and has a higher chance of being female. This means that some female Azurill will in fact change sex when they evolve. (Awkward O.O)
 
- Feraligatr currently has more syllables in its name than any other Pokémon, at five.

- Pidgeot's shiny form in Gold, Silver and Crystal was green and Pidgeotto's was a yellow or brown color; in subsequent generations, however, shiny Pidgeot are yellow and shiny Pidgeotto are green.

- Ampharos' evolutionary line is the only Electric-type family that can learn Power Gem.

- Vulpix's Pokédex entries state that at birth it is born with one white tail that reddens and splits as it grows. However, they always hatch with six coloured tails.

- Sneasel's family are the only Ice types to learn Surf without being Water type as well.

- Ursaring's shiny form is green. That is all. :/
 
Mew was a secret when Pokemon was created. Not even Nintendo knew that it had been programmed into the game, that is, until the glitches started to appear.

When the Mew glitch first appeared, Pokemon seemed to be failing. After the glitch was discovered, Nintendo decided to take advantage of the Pokemon and issue it as an event. The sales boosted and started to break records in game sales. The rest is history. So, Mew basically saved the Pokemon series.

Also, it was the first Pokemon trademark ever registered, even before the Pokemon name itself.

You've now got me wondering what would happen if a cloyster yonked on a slowpokes tail. LOL
 
Voltorb and Electrode learned no Electric-type attacks naturally in the first and second generation. You had to use a TM to give them electric attacks.
 
Despite being Gen II, Ho-oh was seen before the vast majority of Gen I Pokémon in the anime, as it was seen at the end of the first episode after only Pikachu, Pidgey and Spearow (not counting those seen on TV or in dream sequences).

There's a move Shuckle can use (forgot what it's called) that swaps it's defense with his attack. So with that, and Rollout and all that other stuff, it would cause a lot of damage.
 
For those discussing the Shuckle situation (from Bulbapedia):


Although the circumstances would be nearly impossible, a level 100 Shuckle can potentially deal the most damage in one single attack through the use of numerous stat boosters, by using Helping Hand, Metronome held item, Power Trick, a Skill Swap to Pure Power or Huge Power, and the Defense Curl/Rollout combo. Also, Shuckle's partner must have the ability Flower Gift and the weather must be sunny. On the 5th impact of Rollout, if used against a level 1 Ledyba or Yanma that have been hit with negative Defense modifiers (such as Screech), it can deal 213,896,052 damage with a critical hit.
  • If a level 100 Shuckle uses Power Trick, and is then skill swapped with Pure Power or Huge Power, it would obtain a maximum attack stat of 1228.

Also, many people have noted how Buizel resembles Tails, well, I'd say Buizels shiny form helps with this being that its shiny form is coloured yellow, like Super Tails.

MORE RANDOM FACTS:

* Originally to obtain Shedinja in Pokemon R/S/E, you needed only an empty slot in your party when Nincada evolves into Ninjask. The Pokeball in your inventory seemed logical, so it was just something that people added on, because they had extra Pokeballs. However, having an extra Pokeball is not necessary. You only need the slot. In Pokemon D/P/P and HG/SS, Gamefreak changed this, and you now do need a Pokeball.

* Debate: If you catch a Shiny Nincada, and it evolves and assuming you get Shedinja? Is the Shedinja shiny too, or do you still have the 1/8000 chance?

* Feebas > Magikarp (ALWAYS)

* In Generations I and II, Mr. Mime didn't have a space in its' name.

* Speaking of Mr. Mime, contrary to popular belief it has a 50/50 ratio of being Male or Female. Game Freak just localized it as Mr. Mime. So sorry, peoples you don't have a transgender Mr. Mime.

This is because the Japanese name is Barrierd, which has nothing to do with titles.

Also, until Gen III, it had three fingers. After that, it had four. It shares this 'finger-adding' with Haunter, who's amount of fingers has changed repeatedly. (as can be seen here)
 
Did you guys know (hope these haven't been taken) that:
Infernape's pokedex entry says that "this Pokemon is beaten by none in quickness" yet it's base speed is the 34th highest of all Pokemon
Infernape is the shortest fully evolved starter in the main series, being 3 foot 11
Infernape was the last fully-evolved Sinnoh starter to be introduced in the anime
Chimchar is the only starter in the Human egg group
Chimchar can be taught Iron Tail with no evident tail
Chimchar is the only Sinnoh starter with no move that would affect both people in a double battle as Turtwig learns Razor Leaf and Piplup learns Bubble

Uh......... too much?
 
if Latios and Latias based stat total is calculated with the Soul dew it surpasses that of Arceus.in a episode two of the pokemon anime ash mistoke Ho-oh with Articuno, Arcinine was shown in that same tablet he was pointing to leading some to believe that he was suppose to be the trio master of the birds this is justified by some by noting it's high stat's and it's pokedex title of Legendary pokemon.

Despite his truant ability being a huge hindrance, Slaking has amazing stats. Use him in a double battle and have his partner skill swap with him and watch him sweep fairly effortlessly. :D

Slaking Would Also be Pseudo Legendary If It Had Two Types.

Metagross Is The Only Pseudo Legendary That Can't Learn A Dragon Type Move.

Magnezone Is Technically The Strongest Pokemon.With Lock On & Zap Cannon,12 Resistances And 1 Immunity.Unless Registeel Is Counted,A Higher Base Stat Total + Lock On Zap Cannon + 11 Resistances And 1 Immunity
