Pokemon Game Idea (Gen 7)

It's been a while sense the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and I'm starting to wonder what's Game Freaks next step? Well I have a few ideas for a possible Gen 7 game!

The location is not where you would think. It would be up in the sky! That's right a region with only floating islands. Each island could be its own town. Now you're probably wondering, "Where am I suppose to catch Pokemon if there are only towns on these islands?" Great question! First we would need a way to get from island to island, so why not a wing suit? Every time the player steps off one island he/she could use the wing suit to get around, therefore Game Freak can reuse fighting wild Pokemon in the sky, much like in ORAS, and of course there would be patches of grass around the other islands to find other non-flying Pokemon, there could even be one large island with a mountain on it to catch rock Pokemon, really the possibilities are endless! Because it is a floating island like region, it would feature more Pokemon that could fly/levitate. This is something I would love to see! Keep in mind this is only an idea and is NOT a confirmed Pokemon game!

This is actually a really cool concept 8)

I'd imagine something like this could work if GameFreak made the flying mechanics similar to the Surf mechanics, e.g. you could just approach the edge of the floating island, press A. It'd feel more natural that way, and it'd be easy to get used to for us veteran players.

That said, I don't think GameFreak would be likely to make the entire region like that. It'd probably be a small portion of the region (e.g. you climb to the top of a mountain to reach the floating islands).

I've always been fascinated by the concept of floating islands, I just dont think an entire region based around it is feasible. Perhaps, they could be somehow tied to a new legendary and located only around said legendary, possibly with one large floating island and a few smaller surrounding ones isolated restricted to one specific area. We could have a psychic Regigigas-type Legendary that either levitated the islands out of the sea, or maybe even upheaved a huge mountain range out of the ground. I've also been fond of a City akin to Sootopolis City but fully encapsulated inside an underwater cave, instead of a volcanic lake.
